The manor seemed to be busier these days as news of 'invasion day' spread around. While the atmosphere seemed as if another meeting was about to be held, one would find the meeting room barren save for Servbot #1337 sweeping the floor. Within the main hall, Oboyo could be seen staring at the Tablet of Promise.

Kent entered the room and stood next to Oboyo with his arms crossed. "Do we have any idea how many more men we need to get? We don't know how many more people in the world will have that star thing." He sounded half-interested. He didn't want to take any chances, but on the other hand, it still sounded like blasphemy to him.

Gizmo sits back with a flask of hard liquor, eyeing each person that enters. Surely something needed doing this close to the invasion... and she felt she'd yet to prove herself to the Force.

Trixie walked into the main hall from outside, setting aside a few paper bags and bolstering her grasp on the creature beside her, partially holding up a battered and bloody humanoid as she half-drags her into the room "Hey, fearless leader, we got a medic around here or something?"
Hastur came down from the training room, choosing to stand beside his student. "That tablet's not as full as it should be."

Kagura glanced about the manor's interior through her one, barley opened eye taking in the surrounding blur. Her counter grip on Trixie was weakening as her grip on consciousness weakened as well. Her pride was basically nonexistent as her condition and need for help would now be advertised by the pony she held onto.

Kimen's attention was torn between the news of the invasion and his studies on Hellfire, which as of yet had yeilded little he could use. The manor's library had little on the topic and there were not too many books in Shrike's library on the matter. Once he finished pouring through the last book, he decided it was time for another break and headed out of his room. It would be good to stretch his legs and move about to keep himself from accidentally dozing off again. Yawning, he started looking for Lucass for company or some sort of work he could do to help the others in the manor. Kimen soon found Kent and Oboyo standing near the tablet and he approached them both, resting his tired head against Kents back and mumbling a greeting.

Down in the lab, Helios was busily analyzing the results from scanning Oboyo's spirit blast. "This should be able to be stored and released later." He turned and hovered over to a workbench with an empty, rune covered battery on it. "The design that Demonicor developed should work best. Now we just have to get Oboyo to charge it." Helios picked up the battery and hovered out into the hall to look for him.

"At this point it's more a matter of having all hands available. Many of the other governments out there won't even hear me." Oboyo removed his gaze from the tablet and turned it towards Hastur and Kent. "Elenor wants me to gather those groups who have promised support for a tactical meeting. Hastur, can you get Master Ip Man to attend in a couple of days?"

At the sound of Trixie's voice, Oboyo glanced over to see a shocking sight. "Who..? Erm..no, but Elenor had a sick bay installed in the MK II. She never found anyone to run it, though. Who is this?"

Hastur nods. "I'm sure Master Ip would love to meet to discuss things." He looks past at the woman Trixie dragged in, then goes over to examine her. "What happened to her...?"

Kent smiled at Kimen, who seemed tired. Of course, the metalic steed pointed out a newcomer. Kent propped Kimen up enough for him to turn around and notice none other than Kagura, the Wind Demon. Kent brushed Kimen aside, and just muttered, "Run away if things get ugly." He drew he sword and approached Kagura, holding it with both hands, offensively. "Begone, demon! Your kind is not welcome here! I told you, I have no reason to let you live forever."

Gizmo heads over to investigate the strange women "I'm no doctor, but I do know a little field medicine. Do you mind telling me what happened to her? Someone fetch some water and some rags, we can at least clean her wounds and bandage them.

Trixie glared at Kent as snowflakes began to appear around her, slowly coalescing into icicles, she forces the woman onto Hastur as she steps forward "Trixie is NOT dealing with this shit right now, Trixie just wants a nice day to get wasted, and then, I have to drag someone to get help, and now, you're threatening her with a sword!? She is here with me, if you don't like it, take it up with someone who cares."

Kagura couldn't fully make out any of the blurred faces and the voices she heard were muffled but it was, it appeared she had the attention of others around her. The one place she didn't want to be. "...damn it..", Kagura said through her heavy breathing. Kagura lifted her head to the direction of a familiar voice. Kent? Well, this is getting too good to be true. Now of all times. "Fine, Kent. If you want to..."

Kimen blinked, her sleepiness being pushed aside for the moment and Kent drew his sword. What did he mean by 'run away if things get ugly'? Things were already ugly if you were drawing your sword to fight someone! The child followed after Kent, failing to take a hold of his cape. "Mr. Kent, what if she means no ill will? It looks like she came here hurt. She doesn't seem to be looking for conflict."

Kagura cringed from a sharp pain but would try and play it off by stumbling to her full height. "If you want me to finish you off here, so be it.", she said obviously bluffing. I'm inside and theres not much I can do. My hands alone won't create enough force to stop a man brave enough to jump into a flaming tornado...

Helios hovers into the main hall, deciding that it would be prudent to keep his distance from Trixie and her meltdown at Kent. "Hey Oboyo! We've been working on storing Spirit Rune energy and we think we have a way. Could you charge this battery for us?" He poindedly refuses to look at the escalating conflict behind him, hoping that it will all vanish so he can take the charged battery and work in peace.

At the appearance of the scene, many of the manor's inhabitants began to cautiously step back or leave the room entirely. Among that group was Ms. Kuporia, who rushed off to retrieve the supplies Gizmo requested just in case. "I care. Trixie, who is this and why should I not trust Kent?" Oboyo glanced at Helios and waved him off, there were clearly more important matters at hand.

Kent did not lose a second with her response. He used her weakened balance against her, tripping her to the ground with his foot, and immediately placing a knee on her back to keep her down. Withen less than ten seconds he had town a sturdy bit of cloth from his cloak and bound her hands behind her.

When he was done, Kent stood back up, rolled her face up so her hands we beneath her and the neck upward, as he placed a foot on her chest and pointed his sword against her throat. "Kagura the Wind Demon, you have been personally witnessed of corrupting the natural order of the world. You have attempted murder, told lies, and kept secret deals against myself, and possibly others. Why are you here? One spell and you die."

Helios splutters. "But... But..." He subsides with a groan. "Fine." He hovers after Oboyo to watch the growing fight and try and avoid projectiles/becoming a projectile. Helios always hated when he was flying through the air courtesey of someone that wasnt the M85.

Gizmo glares at Kent "Do you not consider yourself an honorable man? She is here at our mercy." She accepts the supplies the maid brings, wetting one rag and using it to clean the blood off. She tears another rag into strips, dousing each strip in alcohol and dabbing the wounds with it to sterilize them before using them as bandages "I suggest you allow me to aid her. We can do the right, and honorable thing. And if it turns out she is hostile, she will be all the more flammable."

Trixie watched in surprise for a moment before arraying her icicles to point at Kent with a growl, her cloak rose somewhat off her back "Even before dragging honor into this, she is a friend of Twilight's, and under Trixie's promised protection."

Kagura was taken to the ground and handled very effectively by Kent. The weight of her eye lids became overwhelming and they fell closed. She could still hear Kent speak. He is pretty proud of himself right now. I should have killed him when I had the chance. This job has been nothing but trouble. Naraku provided better partners than my current employer.
As conversation built up around her, Kagura's brows raised. They are actually standing up for me? I don't get it. I just threatened one of their own and yet they take my side? Mortals are so fickle. Kagura did what she could. Nothing but wait for those around her to determine her fate, something Kagura couldn't have imagined happening to her.

The child let out a long sigh. So the woman was going to antagonize Kent, and the wierd robot horse thing was going to throw out threats rather than try to talk things out. What was wrong with the adults here in this world? All they ever seemed to do was want to pose and posture and start fights with one another. "Kent. Stop." Kimen pleaded. The child took a step back, out of the way, eyelids lowering.

Hastur stood and walked to Kent, crossing his arms and standing before him. "Kent. You're going to put that sword away. If you don't, I will. And believe me, you'll want to be putting it away yourself." His eyes flashed yellow for a brief second.

"I see." said Oboyo, glancing over all the parties involved during a brief silence. "Trixie, you're welcome to use the MKII's medical equipment, but we don't have any professionals here. Gizmo can patch her up and send her on her way. Kent, I don't disbelieve you, but you'll have to pursue your justice elsewhere. This is a place for the those fighting malicious ghosts, not those of questionable intent."
Oboyo paused and pointed at the Tablet of Promise. "Do you see that? Take a long look, because it's the only reason any of us are going to be alive in a couple of weeks." Just then, the sound of the manor's front entrance could be heard opening and slamming shut. The voice of Lucass carried loudly throughout the room, "Uh--guys?! We've got a problem!"

Helios turns to Lucass, glad for a distraction from the fight. "What happened this time? Is the microwave in the lounge not working again?"

Gizmo finishes patching up Kagura as best she can before looking up to Lucass "This is good. There are always problems, just a matter of whether we can see them or not. So, what is it?"

Trixie kept her icicles at the ready as she trotted toward the doorway "If it eases your mind to do so Knight, keep her tied, but not one hair out of place." she moved past Lucass as she took up her bottles, pulling out and tearing apart a bit of cloth as she left through the front door to see if the big problem is something needing killing outside.

Kent looked down at the helpless forsaken soul below him. He would only take one strike... 'She's using you...' Kent could see his reflection in the shining blade below him. 'Kill her.' The look in Kent's eyes read "I will." Unfortunately, there seemed to be issues with what the others believed with that course of action. Kent instead just kept his hold on her. "Stay. Still."

Hastur glared at Kent, then turned to look at Lucass. "What's going on, Lucass?"

Kimen looked up at Lucass as he entered the room, her eyes pulled away from the situation regarding Kent and the others. "Whats wrong, Lucass?" In a way, the child was kind of thankful for the interruption.

Lucass held his hand out to stop Trixie, but was too late. She would soon see for herself that a couple dozen of individuals could be seen coming from Kohryuu Street, all armed with weapons and being led by a older gentleman that Kent, Mekis, and Demonicor would recognize. "There's a bunch of people coming this way, and Mr. Jinsaka is leading them!"

Oboyo gritted his teeth and quickly moved to the manor's front entrance. "He must be here for A.J...is he out of his mind?! The other businesses wouldn't just allow something like this..unless they were paid." He glanced back at the others before stepping outside. "Kent, can you please put her on hold? We've got bigger problems. Lucass, can you and Kimen look around the manor for some help? Things might get pretty rough shortly."

Lucass nodded then looked towards Kimen. "Alright, let's go! Let's see, um..Sutan might be out back..Chef Jean should be in the kitchen..maybe that weird math guy in the dirty room in the west hall..um-um-who else? Geez..can't think straight right now.."

"Huh... Never been attacked by an angry mob before. That's a first." Helios looks out the window at the approaching group. "...Maybe we should go call the M85 from around back."

Hastur turns to Kent. "Look, just let her go and we'll deal with whatever she is later. Right now, we got some ass to kick." He heads out, cracking his knuckles.

Trixie began to work the cloth into the booze bottles "Waste of good spirits... Anyone wanna run and grab some crap from the bar? Trixie thinks more booze bombs will be needed." she set aside the finished bottles as her cloak rippled, a small disklike object dropping out to the ground, seeming like some sort of a primitive mine "Jinsaka, does Trixie have permission to cause pain? Or would you rather do this a less violent manner?.... also, do you have gas masks fit for ponies cause Trixie never could find any..."

Gizmo perks up at the mention of an angry mob "Oh-hoh, this will be fun. I've never tried to talk down an angry mob before. Oh and Kent, be a dear and help escort Kagura to the medical ward. We may not be able to use most of the equipment, but medical hospitals have these excellent little rails you can use. I can show you my best bed restraint knots."

"Right. Think we should split up to cover more ground quicker?" Kimen nodded, looking nervously towards the door then back to Lucass. "Should take less time to find everyone if we both take a wing, right?"

Begrudgedly Kent released his hold of Kagura. He turned to Hastur. "She is a demon, a murderer, a necromancer, a liar, and a witch. It is no longer up for debate. She's mine. " He couldn't finish speaking before Hastur already left. Kent grunted, motioned for a random nearby attendent to retrain her to a medical bed, and followed after the others to confront the old man.

Trixie laid down on the ground to tinker with her disc, a nearby bottle floating off the ground, headed towards Kent "Here, just in case you find a deserving target... or you can save it and drink it after, Trixie doesn't care. Just don't waste it." she didn't bother to look up, pushing down on the top of the disc with a hoof as a few glowing tools worked around the side of it.

"Yeah, you do. But let's hear him out first." said Oboyo as the elder Jinsaka arrived at the gate with his two dozen mercenaries. "I've come for my son!" shouted the man, prompting Oboyo to shrug like a smartass. "I'm right here!" The older man nearly snarled as he shouted out, "YOU'RE NOT MY SON! You can't even BEGIN to understand the GREATNESS that A.J. has waiting for him!"

Oboyo glanced at the others nearby. They were more than a match for his old man's mercenaries, but he didn't want to take any chances. The more time he could buy, the better. "Oh? Do enlighten us, then."

Hastur leaned his head from side to side, popping his neck. "Indeed. I'd love to hear how putting your own son into a state of brain-washing is such a great and wonderful thing, you arrogant old prick."

Helios radioed the M85 and ordered it wo remain on standby before hovering out to peer at the crowd from the top of the steps. "So this is your father, Oboyo? He dosent look all that threatening. Or smart, we suppose."

Gizmo finishes helping to restrain Kagura and steps out in time to hear Jinsaka Sr.'s retort "Permission to speak sir?"

Kent lit a cigar as Old Man Jinsaka began to talk. He was impatient. He had a demon he needed to interrogate instead of this. Kent however, did respond to Hastur. "Respect your elders, Hastur. Calling him a prick will only anger him further, and I think that this man is ready to call for a war." Kent turned to Oboyo. "I say we give him over. He's not asking much, and the kid hasn't been helped much from what I can tell. Your father at least knows what happened."

"Sounds good. I'll head down the west wing..I know you haven't met everyone yet, so just look for 'strong' people!" With that, Lucass headed down the west wing.

Kimen nodded, and took off quickly down the east wing. Yes, strong people would be good in this situation, but really encountering anyone could be benificial if she didn't waste any time. If they could get more people alert to the situation and helping to find people to take up arms at the entrence even before Kimen or Lucass got to them, then it would be all for the better.

"Sure, but let him continue his spew first. He likes to do that..which works in our favor." Oboyo whispered to Gizmo. "I have prepared him, you see! After you asked me why the Spirit Rune was found sealed under this very manor, I dug up our family history. It turns out..we were MEANT to usher in these phantoms you've been so afraid of! But you and your FRIENDS got in the Spirit Rune's way." Oboyo's eyes widened. "'In its way'? You don't mean.."

"Yes! I heard what you did to Maison. If you and that knight didn't stop him, the phantoms would already be here, and our family would be the Fog Guide's champions! The 'Spirit Rune' that you cling so desperately to for hope is the very reason they're coming! I tricked Graham into joining me so that I could offer the Rune of Punishment, as well. This entire -world- would have been ours! So you've left me with no other choice than to offer A.J. as repentence!"

Lucass checked through several of the rooms before he stopped at a rather trashy one. Inside, an eccentric man wearing a black outfit could be seen sitting on the top of a pile. Lucass took a deep breath, he hated talking to this one. "Um..Mr..." before he could finish, the man cut him off. "STOP! Order of operations, you minute hectopascal!" Lucass rolled his eyes before continuing in, "Some old horses can always hear their owners approach."

Hastur stood there, continuing to stretch and pop his joints. "Oboyo, your dad's crazy. And that's coming from me, who had crazy cultist parents."

Suddenly, Kent took interest in what the old man was saying. "You... Monster..." Kent walked in front of Oboyo, towards Lord Jinsaka. "You would offer your own child simply to gain power? Control over the dead of all things as well?" Kent snarled. "Your soul is damned if you make a pact with unholy forces. You are not only tainted with evil, but you are a coward, as you would not even risk your own soul." His voice raised angrily. "I consider that WORSE. THAN. DAMNATION!"

Gizmo chooses to address not Jinsaka, but the crowd "Are you listening to what this man is saying? Hoping to usher in an army of phantoms, regaling how the world would be his were it not for our intervention? This has all the ravings of a cult. What reason do you have to follow him? What power has he promised you? I can understand the lust for power, but you really should have shopped around. We have everything he seeks FOR A REASON! Leave this madman and go back to your lives, or join us and stand against him."

"Well. Thats a bit surprising. Batshit insane, but still surprising." Helios amplified his voice a bit. "Yeah, yeah. Why should we believe you? You want to summon the end of the world using your son, ya cultist bastard."

Trixie stood as the disc gave a click, giving a nod and carrying it as she headed for the corner of the yard, muttering to herself "Well lightbulb, time to see how your tech fares in combat." she built a set of makeshift steps out of wire and planks in the corner of the yard, stopping just short of the top, and disappearing from sight.

Kimen ran into the kitchen at such a speed that he stumbled and knocked over a few pots and pans in the process. "Ack!" He grit his teeth and looked around hoping that the place wasn't empty. Fortunately it wasn't, out of the corner of his eye he spied a green man... frog? Well, the child had seen stranger. "Mr. Oboyo is looking for some able people to gather at the entrence! There is an armed angry mob of people outside!"

"SOHCAHTOA! Well done, kiddo. What do you want?" Lucass thought quickly and carefully about his response. Getting this guy to help with anything in the entirety that he's been here has been a challenge of itself. "Some guys outside are complaining about Algebra being useless in life." The entire room seemed to catch on fire as Sho Minamimoto leapt from his trash pile and landed on the floor in front of Lucass, hate within his eyes. "3.14159265358479323846264338328!"
With that, Sho was out the door and climbing towards the roof. Lucass sighed and left the room. One down.

Oboyo looked at Hastur for a split second, as if wanting to say 'Tell me about it.' before following behind Kent. "Maison, Rakashka, Sir Dusk..they all died because of that bastard and you're grilling me for stopping him? You're right, old man..I'm not your son. And so is Kent." With that, Oboyo retrieved his custom staff from his jacket and snapped it into place. The mercenaries merely shrug Gizmo's speech off, for to rats like them, money spoke higher words than logic.

A yellow cloud of smoke then began to rise up from the crowd of mercenaries, causing a portion of them to stop and cough. Oboyo seemed ready to give the order to fight, but his voice was overpowered by Sho Minamimoto, who shouted at the top of his lungs from the roof of the manor.

"INNNFINNIIITY!!!" With that, the eccentric mathmatician leapt off of the roof and drop kicked a merc while shouting "SINE!" He then turn kicked another merc, "COSINE!" while performing a moonsault on a third, "TANGENT!"

"Oui? Monsiur Jinsaka needs moi? Very well! Au revoir!" said Chef Jean, gripping his rapier and rushing out the kitchen at Kimen's request.

Hastur smirks, then rushes forward, dropping low before sending his entier body spiraling in a corkscrew into the croud of mercenaries, head first. "TOUKU HITENHOU!"

A spray of liquid flew out into the mob from the approximate area Trixie had disappeared, a few M80 fireworks flying out after them, already hissing, followed close by a pair of lit bottles, the air filling with a mad laughter "Run you little pigs! Trixie will send you to meet the spirits on a personal level!"

Helios sighs. "And so diplomacy broke down. Implying there was diplomacy to begin with, but we digress." He opted to watch from his position on the top step rather than engage the mercenaries. "Oh look, the camo unit works again. Good job Trixie."

Kent shrugged. He began walking casually into a group of mercs. He drew his shield, pulled up his hood, and casually entered into the fray, his heavy armor taking most of the hits, the rest being just scratches. He wasn't seen for quite a while, just a mob of enemies surrounding him. Then, a flaming bottle flew into the air from the middle, and crashed down on the group. Kent exited the group (now on fire) just as casually, his cigar more of a stub, and brushed off some of the flames. "Next?"

Gizmo eyes the encroaching battle. Such shortsighted greed... it was quite obvious these fools would be no match for the other members of the PDF. That said... there was one matter left unattended. Gizmo withdraws to the medical bay to check on their prisoner.

As soon as the frog was on his way out, Kimen took off as well to look for the next person. It was too bad there wasn't a way to get a hold of a group of people this large quickly in the event of an emergency like this. She moved down to the end of the hallway, pushing the doors open to the meeting room.

Inside the meeting room, Kimen would find Elenor standing next to a table. "Hmm? Are you lost?"

Once outside, Jean shouted an elegant battlecry as he wielded his rapier with grace, stabbing a mercenary that drew too close to the manor's entrance. Hastur's targets fly back as those on fire drop to the ground to put it out. Clearly, the elder Jinsaka didn't hire the right crew.

"Is this it, old man?! It this the best our family can buy?! Money's not as strong as you think, pops! Maybe if you'd have listened to old Maison a little more, you'd have learned that!" With that, Oboyo spun his staff forcefully as he beat a pair of the mercenaries away. The battle certainly seemed to be going in the PDF's favor, but the older Jinsaka remained still, a confident grin on his face.

"Come now, boy..I sold off everything. Your entire childhood is gone. I don't need that mansion anymore, because after you're dead, I'm taking yours! Do you have any idea how much that can buy!?" The old man started to laugh maniacally as more and more mercenary faces began to emerge from Main and Korhyuu street. Oboyo shook his head slowly. The man was insane, and the people who took his money were equally so. Truly, Shrike was a place ruled by it.

"I can't believe this..they're really turning a blind eye. How many more are there..?"

"I'm tired of hearing you talk, you crazy bastard." With that, Hastur begins making his way to the older Jinsaka, beating any merc that get in his way, grabbing and breaking arms, legs, ribs, on his way to his target.

Helios seems to frown. "Alright, this is getting out of hand." He pointedly ignores the pun he just made. "M85! Would you kindly show these hooligans out? They are presenting a danger to the manor."

An intercom system! That was just what he needed! Kimen run up to Elenor, talking hurriedly but thankfully clearly enough that she could understand. "Ma'am, there is a mob of angry people with weapons outside. Mr. Jinsaka asked Lucass and I to look for people to help. We could probably use the intercom to notify people of the situation quickly..." Kimen said, pointing to it. Hopfully it would be quickly enough.

Several thuds echo out as the massive mechon stomps out from behind the house. The M85 surveys the crowd of mercenaries as it locks it's pincer and begins to spin it to lethal speeds. "Anyone dumb enough to challenge the M85, please step forward." Helios glanced around at the crowd from the porch. "No takers? Well, looks like you'll have to take the fight to them, M85." The enormous mechon nods and steps into the fray.

Trixie became visible again just in time to kick a mercenary off the fence, throwing a bottle of booze down after him as she hopped off the steps she made, lighting those on fire as well while drawing a small swarm of daggers from her cloak and using them to spearhead into the group already in the fore-yard "Money buys loyalty, blood buys life... Who wants to bleed for Trixie? Come on you revenants, none of you has the brains to run!"

"Oh, geez!" shouted Oboyo as he spun his staff at a nearby mercenary and backed away closer to the manor's entrance. "Helios! Watch out for our allies!" The older Jinsaka remained in place unphased by Hastur's approach, perhaps due to his questionable state of mentality.

Elenor paused for a minute and glanced at the intercom before turning back to Kimen. Could this kid really be trusted? The story could be true, though. Worst case scenario, she could pretend the whole thing was a drill. She made her way to the intercom and turned it on. "Attention! This is a battle emergency! All members of the Paranormal Deliverance Force, report to the front courtyard immediately!"

Hastur breaks from the mercenaries, leaving many with broken bones in his wake. "Time for you to go to hell, old man." Hastur rushed towards him, bringing his palms together on the man's ears, hoping to disorient him with the ringing from his ears, then sweep behind him for a German Suplex.

The lack of worry on Kent's face was ridiculous. His mind was still on the demon and so he was on auto pilot. occasionally if somebody ran up to him he'd take them down in a few seconds with his shield, but never made much of a show. He mosied over to where Oboyo was fighting, speaking as calmly as he walked as he occasionally knocking a foe off their feet. "Do you smoke? I have a few spare Cigars. Nothing really seems to be happening."

"Oh right. M85! Designate laser markers as allies and avoid damaging them." The mechon chirped in acknowledgement as it sliced a group of the mercs in half. Helios began painting the members of the PDF with an infrared laser while the M85 continued to make a mess of the mercenaries. Helios finished painting the allies as Kent walked over. "Need a light for one when you get it?"

"Thank you!" Kimen said to Elenor, letting out a sigh of relief. Surely everyone would be able to respond that needed to respond now! She and Lucass wouldn't have to hunt everyone down one by one! "Thank you!" She repeated, running her hand over her forehead and brishing back her hair while she caught her breath.

Trixie swiped her daggers through the air, much like a giant claw, cutting through portions of the crowd as she launches a wave of sparkles at another group, closing her eyes as it ignited into a bright flash, giving up on antagonizing the crowd for now, she turned her blades into a drill of sorts to work back toward the entrance.

Elenor nodded at Kimen and began to head out of the meeting room to see what was going on for herself. "You did good." she said simply.

With the appearance of the M85, many of the mercenaries began to turn tail and flee. Those who remained were put down by the other members of the PDF. The elder Jinsaka was no match for Hastur's suplex, his life snuffing out with the crack of his brittle bones. Little by little, the battle seemed to be coming to a close.

"Stand down, M85. Thats good enough for today." The mechon nodded in response to Helios and turned off it's buzz saw, allowing it to slow down enough for it to open the pincer back up. It looked around at the carnage it caused, as well as the gore all over its body and whined guiltily.

Hastur spat on the body of the elder Jinsaka. "Asshole." He assisted his teammates in mopping up the last of the mercs, then took a deep breath, let it out, then dusted himself off. "Well, that was an annoyance. Your dad was one crazy bastard, boss."

Trixie threw a dagger at a running enemy, taking him out on the back of the leg as she approached Jinsaka "Trixie barely got to do anything... the battle was over almost as soon as that ass was put down. Think he was manipulating them?"

Kimen stood for a moment in the empty meeting room not sure what to do. Surely he would be of no real use to anyone in what was taking place outside. He had some training but not that much training that he was very effective. If it was just Kent alone maybe there could be something he could do but right now, in this situation he was at a loss... The child made his way outside hoping to maybe find Lucass and get some more direction.

Kent smirked at the death of Jinsaka Sr. as he lit a cigar to replace his stub. "I honestly think he put too much faith in his followers. The lord's greatest gift to us is our body, and it is our just to perfect it like a temple to him and ourselves to live in peace." Kent lodged his sword into the ground, wrapped his necklace around the hilt, and, surprisingly, began to kneel before it. He was blessing the fallen in the battlefield, and those who will fall.

"That he was." said Oboyo as he glanced over all the bodies in his courtyard. "You could say that..money does talk. This is unforgiveable..we joined together to fight phantoms, not this. If any of you jerks are still alive, go home! You're not getting paid anymore! That goes you guys too..they're just paid guns. Let them go."

Oboyo sighed deeply as he folded his staff up and put it away. "I can't believe it..the entire manor, gone. Everyone I grew up with, fired. All because of one crazy man." Elenor stood at the door, glaring out at the mess. The PDF was victorious this day, but at what cost? The lives of fools who fought for money? The life of a greater fool who sold his family for power? Or perhaps it was just the fact that the entire trauma occured because of one man's selfishness?

Meanwhile, inside the MK II...

As Gizmo arrived, three of the ninjas snapped to attention while Jum sat in a chair playing with a paddleball. Rodger glanced up from a desk with tactical information, a curious look on his face. "My, things have been lively in here lately. Are you here for her?"
Graham sat in one of the beds, possibly asleep.

Kagura blinked several times as her dreams separated from the reality of the bright, artificial lights. Kagura tried to sit up but was stopped by.. restraints. Damn... She twisted gently in her bed, the wounds were already doing better. I'm still alive which means, Kent hasn't returned. But how do I get out?

Gizmo pulls up a seat next to Kagura's bed, watching her stir "Ah, good. You're up. I was hoping to ask you a few questions. Get to know your side of the story, as it were. But first, how are your wounds?"

Rodger sat back and listened while Jum shrugged and paddled away. He too was curious. All he knew was that an attendant brought her to be kept here by request of Kent.

Kagura stared at Gizmo for a moment. It was coming together. That voice. SHE IT'S THE SAME PERSON THAT PATCHED ME. Not... What I expected. Kagura looked to Gizmo "Well. Kent and I both took a job from the same employer. Kent dates my employer's daughter and... well, you know Kent. He's obsessive. My job was to make sure that he wouldn't cross any lines and hurt our employer's daughter, due to his... Off beliefs."

Gizmo closes her eyes and ponders these facts. It made sense, but at the same time... "Who's your employer? And I'm guessing something wound up happening, judging by his reaction to you. Were you forced to attack him? And I'll remind you it's in your best interest to tell the truth. I'll find out one way or another."

Kagura shook her head. "I was told to provoke him and not hurt him but he was pretty hell bent on killing me. I mean, yes, I broke his shield and he should be mad about that. But he was really trying to kill me, not the other way around. I admit, I'm a Demon, but his claims are... A bit exaggerated.", she said and paused in thought... "Zaidian. that's all I know. I don't know where he lived, last name, or what he really looks like."

Kagura stood in silence after she finished speaking, staring at the floor. "You know... He even set one of my tornados on fire and jumped through it... Who does that?"

Gizmo laughs at the final comment "Kent is... special. I have but two more questions for you. First, is that Kent claimed you were corrupting the natural order of the world. I'd like to know what he meant by that. And secondly, Trixie said you were under Twilight's protection. I'd like to know what your history is with her. Please, answer truthfully."

Rodger kept silent and listened intently. The subject of Kent would have aroused Graham's curiousity, were he awake. It also reminded him that Kent could return for his bounty at any moment. He beckoned for Jum to come a little closer and whispered something in his ear, prompting the ninja to nod and leave the room.

Kagura nodded. "Yes. You could say that. I used my dance of the dead to reanimate the bodies of a few goblins. They're all over the woods just east of... mabel? I'm not too sure the town's name, I flew over it." she scratched her head. "Under Mrs.Sparkle's protection? I don't know about that. I came here to see her, I considered her as a friend. Everytime I try to find her she either just left town or the dimension... I, and trust me on this, plan to cut her off like a gimp limb..."

Gizmo raises an eyebrow at Kagura. The last part directly contradicted Trixie's earlier statement. Still, Twilight was a respected member of the PDF, one would think Kagura would claim a closer relationship, were she to lie at all. "I see." she turns to Rodger "Do we have any way to get our friend out of here discreetly? I would like to investigate this a bit more, and I don't feel she's safe here."

Before Rodger could answer, Elenor's voice could be heard overhead, warning of an emergency in the front courtyard and for all members of the PDF to report there immediately. He glanced over at the three ninjas and smirked, "Aren't you guys going to respond to that?" The ninjas glanced at each other then shrugged, filing out of the room one by one.

"Heavens, we couldn't do that. But it would be shame if her restraints came loose while the others are out tending to that emergency. Not to mention the MK II is about to depart for Guardia for an 'emergency supply pickup'."

Gizmo nods "Funny thing about the knots I used. They hold fast when tugged on, but if you push towards the knot instead it loosens right up. Not a whole lot of people know about that. Anyway, stay out of trouble, I'll be back to talk to you later." With that, Gizmo gets up, gives Kagura a nod, and walks back towards the courtyard

"Interesting. I'll have to keep that in mind." said Rodger, acknowledging Gizmo outwardly as if that advice was meant for him. He then turned his chair around and returned to his tactical papers. Within moments, the MK II submerged underwater and left the manor's underground dock, heading westwards until it was clear from Shrike.
"This vessel generally rises to the water's surface when making supply runs. It feels nice to stand outside once in a while."

Kagura did just as Gizmo suggested and consulates herself out of the restraints. She stood up, realizing it would take at least another hour to be loose, but the fuzzy creature did a pretty good job with just the basics. She paced around waiting for the strange machine to emerge from the water. She looked at the ladder and placed her hands on the cold bars and watched Rodger.

Kagura took a deep breath. "I'm not really good at gratitude but... I know you are bending rules for me. I have no idea why you too be so initial to your superiors for someone you don't even know. I could have been telling you exact what I thought you wanted to hear...", she said almost attacking Rodger. "But... Thank you." she then started up the ladder leaving nothing behind but the sound of rushing wind.

"..Did that suffice, General?" asked Rodger. The wounded Graham chuckled softly from his bed, seemingly having been awake the entire time. "If he wants to track her down, he'll have to do so on his own terms." Rodger remained silent for a moment, penciling in something on his papers. "You should rest. I'll have your material for your meeting ready in a few hours."
