Free City, Truce - Fountain

A tiered fountain marks the center of Truce, water gushing from its
summit and trickling into a deep, wide basin, wrapped by a ring of benches.
Roads flow like rivers away from the fountain, and houses sprout like weeds
all around them. Not far to the east, the ocean roars in the harbor.

It wasn't much different from any other weeknight, including the point where a large rift opened above the fountain, unceremoniously dumping one more poor confused soul into life within a strange dimension. Nothing untoward or strange quite yet, but the night was young...

Mogwai wanders through the center of town, fearfully glancing up at the sky every so often. Less often she spares a glance behind her. She's fretting with her hands as she walks, appearing very jumpy and nervous.

Having more or less done what he came back to the middle realm to do, Ambience was taking a short breather amidst his journeying, somewhat satisfied (as best he could be, at least) with the fact that he'd made amends as best he could for the sins he, until recently, couldn't even recollect. At this time, he took a few minutes to wash his face in the fountain of Truce, coughing once as he splashed water on his face. The sword on his back gleams brightly from the flickering lights of Truce in the evening

Edmund was overlooking the fountain, contemplating further actions. He was hoping to run into the samurai from the show, but was unable to catch him since. He was hoping that he could ask him some questions about his culture. It would be needed information if he was to gain another ally in his search.

Stein was sitting on the bench still questioning what to do in his new life here; on one hand he'd never see the ones he held close Marie, Spirit, His students: Maka Kid, and Blackstar. But on th other hand, the madness felt far away. He saw a lone pedestrian walking through. He wondered if their internal organs were the same. Well he still got the urge to dissect, but more for the sake of curiosity.

Sunflash wasn't exactly sure what was bothering him, but whatever it was twas enough to keep him wandering Truce instead of relaxing somewhere. Like usual, he found himself off to the side of the fountain and idly examining the occupants.

Mifune walked into the the fountain area, looking like his old self. He had a single katana in a sheath on his side. he sat on the fountain's rim. It's been a while since he'd cried over the loss of Angela and his old life, but he had soon after realized htere were kids here too. he looked up at the sky, still wondering how the hell he had gotten here.

Demonicor found himself drawn to the fountain on a whim. Sure, there were other places he -could- go, but there was a certain... routine to the fountain, a habit of sorts he'd been letting fall away. He wandered over to the fountain, patting it on the rim as he scooped up a small jar of water "Well, so much for tonight being quiet or relaxed."

Ambience rubs his face roughly over the fountain's water, exhaling a bit loudly as he brandishes a large-ish cloth from a beltbag on his person, proceeding to dry off his face. Ambience allowed himself a moment to glance skyward, toward the lofty, looming Fortress in the sky, his face a mask of some form of combined apprehension and determination, but he didn't say anything as he went on drying his face.

Edmund turned to see that Mifune had come. "So, did you find your swords?" the wizard asked, "I've been hoping that I could talk to you. I'm still wondering about your culture. I've seen knights fight in crusades and fencers use their techniques, but I'm still baffled by the samurai. How does your sword work if you are unable to thrust?" The question was spoken out of curiosity, like a student speaking to their professor.

As if on cue to attest to the gloominess that some were feeling on this evening, a peal of thunder rumbles across the sky, flashing lightning amidst the clouds high in the sky and illuminating the Fortress of Mana for just a moment against a black backdrop of nightfall, before all returns as it was. No rain needed.

Mifune was a bit taken back the genuine interest. He looked up as he gave is answer, "Well, there's not realy much of my cluture left, where I come from its a more modern time, to be honest, I'm really the last true samurai." he unsheathed his sword giving it an absentminded swing. "As for my blade, any wound can be mortal, if you cut deep enough."

Mogwai breathes a sigh of relief, mumbling to herself. "Keep me cooped up. Knocked out. Can't keep watch, can't keep watch. Have to stay vigilant." She gives a loud shriek at the flash of lightning and the sight of the fortress. In a flash she's drawn a pistol, pointing it at the sky in shaking hands before slowly putting it away.

Sunflash levels a very unamused glare up towards the fortress. "Will you motherless sons of like-likes' STOP" The sorcerer reared back in a burst of rage and then swung his arm forward. "THAT CRAP!" As a pitcher throws a ball, so Sunflash threw a ball of crackling energy up towards the silly fortress.

Stein's eyebrow furrowed at the small creature who had pulled out the gun. His curiosity piqued, he approached the moogle."Hello there." he had a nervous smile on his face, his hand waving absentmindedly.

Demonicor took a small drink from the jar before capping it and stowing it away in his duffel bag, glancing around the assembled crowd, grinning as he noticed the wizarding lightshow. He made his way over to the bench beside Sunflash, chuckling somewhat "Nice arm, I somehow doubt it's really going to stop so easily though."

Ambience sighs to himself, folding up the makeshift hand towel and stowing it back in his satchel. Soon enough, he thought to himself; his attention was redirected at the loud-mouthed man who decided it was a good idea to waste a good spell for no real reason, but it wasn't the act that made him raise an eyebrow. What was that, just now? The gleaming pommel of his back-bourne sword pulsed gently, as if in recognition. Ambience himself, glanced over his shoulder at Sunflash, with mild curiosity. "Hey... how'd you do that?"

Mogwai turns around at Stein's greeting, trying to back away and just falling down to the ground. She has to force herself to calm down as she responds "H-hi. I'm just... keeping watch."

"Hard swings cause for short duels. Usually because they tire you out." Edmund shook his head slightly, but, with a title like 'the sword god,' Mifune probably knew what he was talking about. Of course, then there was the shot of lightning from the cyborg elf. Edmund turned his head for a moment, impressed, but kept his focus on Mifune. "So, if you are the last one, why did you fight? Mercinary work, I suppose?"

Mifune thought oin the question for longer than he should have. His immediate answer was to be 'To protect Angela' but that reason didn't exist anymore. "Yeah, mercenary work mostly. As well as putting down someone who'd need putting down."

Sunflash manages, somehow, to contain a growl before shrugging at Demonicor. "Eventually I'm going to get tired of it and have to see about ripping it down myself at this rate." He rubbed his good hand across his armoered limb for a moment before peering at Ambience. "What'cha mean? Never seen spell casting before?"

Stein looked up at the sky and chuckled slightly at the moogle's response, "Yes. I suppose lightning is a thing to keep watch for."

The boy tilts his head slightly off to one side. "That wasn't a normal spell. That was--hey!" Ambience suddenly cuts himself short in mid sentence, lunging foreward at something unseen and attempting to grab whatever it was! "Layla, no! That's not right!" He apparently misses, though, because his next reaction is to wince and back up a step or two. "Er.. uh."

Demonicor nods at that somewhat before settling down "Oh, I certainly have no doubts about that. Heard of a few otber sets trying here and there... but, maybe you've got better plans than they did." he curiously watched Ambience move about, examining the short scene.

Mogwai shakes her head "No. Not that. Fortress. Crysta... have you seen Crysta? Go there. It's why I keep watch. Always. Except when they REFUSE TO LET ME!" she throws a fit at that, fur bristling as she picks herself up off the ground.

Stein looked up, although it was dark he could just make out something large in the sky. "Sorry, but I don't think your bullets are going to pierce that."

Sunflash gives another shrug at Demonicor before turning an amused look back to Ambience. As the lad backpedaled and winced, Sunny blinked and scratched at the side of his face. A curious look is sent Ambi's way. "What was that, exactly?"

Edmund nodded. "I could use a mercinary myself. I've been wanting to travel, but, usually doing so alone isn't a good idea." Edmund turned his head. "You've traveled a bit in the past week, haven't you? Have you met a man by the name of Sir Edgar? He's my brother, and I'm looking for him."

Mifune shook his head at the question. "No, Sorry, I wish I could help. But if you are looking for a bodyguard you've come to the right place." He said, sheathing his sword.

Ambience frowns, his eyes following something in the air as it seems to come back toward him, and proceeds to glare at it for a moment befor responding to Sunflash, apologetically. "She didn't like that spell, I guess. She's pretty upset." Ambience pauses, remembering whathe was about to say earlier. "That magic, it wasn't channeled through spiritual amplification." The long words sound kind of silly coming from him. "You just.. 'threw' mana. How did you do that?" Ambience doesn't seem to realize that he didn't wholly answer your question, more taken to the 'how' and 'why' of the moment.

Demonicor chuckles quietly to himself, shaking his head and quietly muttering under his breath "Spirit guide, elf, or fairy, someone's gotta be stuck with the tempermental one." he makes no mention of the method or nature of magic, simply storing it away mentally.

Mogwai looks rather sad "I... know that. I feel so helpless. I tried to fight back. See what I can do. You... how can you be so happy right now? How has the despair not crushed you yet. We are all going to die, and we are denied even the dignity of struggling against it." She sighs, and starts fiddling with a small crystal.

Sunflash grumbled a little. "Gotta say that's the first time I've been slapped by an invisible fairy for throwing magic around. Have you considered a bottle? I've been told its somewhat effective for whatever reason." He stood up and wandered next to Ambience, leaning against the fountain. "In answer to your question, I figured regular lighting or fire or whatever wouldn't leave even a mark. I'm sure it'd be deflected before it hits anything, but the idea of leaving a scorch mark makes me feel slightly better." Sunflash turned his gaze to the fountain. "As to /how/, I'm unclear to the details. It's a natural gift, I suppose. Why do you ask?"

Stein knelt down to get on the Moogle's level. "Look, Regardless of what some heap in the sky may or may not do, we're all going to die some day, so why not accept it and enjoy each day as it comes. You look like you've not slept in days. So if you admit that you can't do anything to that thing. Why do you watch it all day and night."

Edmund sat down on a bench casually, not paying much attention to the fortress above. He'd study it later. Instead, he thought about Mifune's offer. "And what would you want in return. I could offer a sum of money in return, but, I'm afraid that I'm going to run low on funds sooner rather than later. I have yet to procure a source of income. Title's don't do you any good when you're out of your homeland, to say the least."

Mifune waved the man off, "Don't worry abot that for now, you helped me when I had first arrived here, its only right that I help you in return."

Ambience smirks faintly, just faintly. "You can't keep mana spirits in bottles. I've never heard've anyone who's tried, b'sides. I just don't think she liked th' way you cast that spell. Are you 'cheating' mana, somehow? Usually Sylvan and Layla get upset at unnatural things, but they've never attacked anyone before." Ambience says this last bit with a laugh, actually, finding it fairly amusing as a thought. His laugh is cut sharply short, however, as he overhears Mogwai's comment. He frowns softly, but avoids eye contact. Another one was counting on them; it only added to the already-immense burden of responsibility he'd been self-saddled with over the last 24 hours. Nevertheless, he nodded at you. "It jus' felt different. Most spells're masked by whatever mana spirit translates the mana power into the spell a person casts. That spell was... just mana. I've never seen anythin' like it b'fore."

Sunflash seems puzzled for a moment before giving a laugh. "Oh, /that/. I read about it when I was studying up on Deneb. Yeah, I might be cheating mana somehow. I haven't had the paitence in some years to try to hammer out the details, but I do seem to be able to skip those 'mana spirits' completely. I've debated asking Ten-a friend about it, but he's been...missing lately." A frown and a shrug. Sunflash rubs the back of his neck for a moment before straightning. "For someone who's never met a spelltwister before you sure seem rather adept at how spells are supposed to work. Can I ask yer name, neighbor?"

Mogwai growls at Stein "And just what is there to enjoy? We enjoy life because death seems like something far off that will never happen. If you had someone pointing a gun in your face, ready to pull the trigger... would you enjoy yourself? Or would you panic, and look for a way to run? That's why I keep watch. To run. I suppose that's what I'll keep doing. For the rest of my life. However short that may be." She idly starts channeling blessings through the crystal, a coping mechanism to remind herself what she can do. A burst of flame. A glob of water. A piercing "ping" of light... which draws her attention "Hmm?"

Stein smiles at the moogle. "I saw you're jump when you pulled the gun on the sky fort. You were going to shoot it. I can tell, you're tired of running. You have means so why not fight?"

The hilt, being the only visible part of Ambience's worn weapon, seems to almost 'chime' softly in response to the channeling that Mogwai is doing, with a gentle pulse of light. Ambience himself doesn't seem to notice, busy interacting with Sunflash.

Demonicor listens to the back and forth between Ambience and Sunflash "Right, remind me not to do magic around you then, I've had enough fairy slappings to last me another year at least." gives a small laugh as he stands, running his hand through his hair "Now, if you don't mind, I see someone with some calming down to do." he made his way over toward the panicked moogle, gatching snatches of the conversation "Or, you could fight it by ignoring it. Maybe it's greatest weapon is fear? In which case all you've been doing is giving in and feeding it."

Edmund finally turned his head towards the people talking about magic. So that's how it worked here! He had noticed that his magical abilities still worked here, but the source was different. More pure, less chaotic. The mana spirits would make sense, then. Edmund finally turned back towards Mifune. "Sorry, I got distracted. I would appreciate your help, yes. Thank you."

Mifune again waved the man off, "It's alright, I've done my share of zoning off here as well." his look took a serious tone as it alwaays did when discussing business., "When do you suppose we go?"

Ambience looks at Sunflash blankly, even after being given something of an explanation. A spelltwister? Was that some new type of magician subclass? He couldn't say he new how studies of magic worked here in the middle realm, but only that he was aware new 'schools' of magic were likely being formed all the time. He would have to consider that later, then, but for now... "Oh, yeah. I'm Ambience, from..." He hesitated. Did he want to risk that much attention, here, in the middle of everyone? Maybe they'd ignore him. Hiding it wasn't going to make things any better, at least. "..th' Mana Holyland. Some people call it th' 'upper realm'; we live with the Mana Spirits and watch over the Tree of Mana." Short and simple enough, Ambience guessed.

"I'll leave whenever you're ready to. I was actually planning on going northeast to a town called Wutai. I heard about a recent outbreak they had with possessions and ghosts. I think that if I asked around I might learn a bit more about how the dead opporate in this world. Knowledge of death always comes in handy when the time is to come." Edmund didn't sound sad, despite the dark subject he talked about. It was an opportunity to learn something that he could turn to his advantage.

Mogwai turns away from the others, all sound appearing to dull away as her attention is arrested by the sword. She approaches Ambience from behind, and nuzzles up against the hilt of the blade, and Ambience in the process. "It feels like Kalin. But moreso. Why do you feel like him? Do you belong to him?"

Sunflash blinks a few times. "..Huh. Issat so? What brings you down here? The Immortals haven't gone completely insane, have they?" The wizard paused to give an amused look at the moogle. As bothersome as the fuzzball's interruption was, it gave him a moment to puzzle things out.

Mifune nodded in agreement, "If you'll give me a moment to collect my swords, I'll be ready to leave now."

Ambience hesitates further, before turning to glance back up toward the Fortress... but stops, as a moogle suddenly bumps into him and his weapon. Beyond the strangeness of being nudged by a complete stranger, though, something more specific about her suddenly grabs his attention. "Whoa, wait a second. Those blessings.. you're jus' like that Kalin guy!" He turns halfway around, so that Sunflash was on his left and Mogwai on his right, looking curiously upon the latter. "You must be th' other one mama told me about. You sought the spirits' blessings, too?" But why the bump? Was she aware of... oh. Crap. He'd momentarily forgotten exactly what he was carrying, but then, Ambience didn't rightfully expect to run into the OTHER spirit-blessed one, right after meeting with Kalin, either.

Demonicor watches the moogle curiously as she simply passes him by, tilting his head a bit as she nuzzled the sword hilt "Well, that's the strangest greeting I've ever seen... he turned to look over Stein, giving a small grin at the man "But at least she seems to have calmed herself down."

"Very well. I'll wait at the gate until you are ready. But first, I need to go tell the innkeeper that I won't be staying another night." Edmund nods a friendly smile at Mifune and heads south. It was simply a part of everyday life when you have to move out of a rented room.

"Hush, me and the sword are talking." Mogwai says, before something cuts through her insanity-ridden lovestruck head "Wait... Kalin? You know Kalin? Did he give you this sword? It smells a lot like him. Well, no, but the light from Lumina's the same. But I'll say it does because I can't smell, and most people can't use Lumina's light." She sits there dazed for a second before realizing someone asked her a question "Yes, although I found out in the end I didn't need them. I bet a monk will have a field day with that." No, that wasn't all. There were more questions. What was she talking about before?

Sunflash only paid parital attention to the actual converstion as he watched the two interact. Things started to fall into place for the wizard, and he wasn't too sure he liked what the puzzle was looking like. If they're actively involved like this, then that's probaly serious, you dolt. Well, more serious than wiping crysta out anyway. He briefly shook his head before starting to pay attention again. Amusing conversation, at any rate.

Mifune headed south. Not long after he had arrived here he had found a mysterious room beneath the field, he had felt it was perfect for his lone lifestyle, so he moved in, it was there he would retrieve his swords.

Stein sighed, his words of wisdom falling on deaf ears. 'If only Spirit were here he'd share a smoke with me.' he thought. His curiosity sated for now, Stein reached into his labcoat pulling out a small cylindar. He layed it on the ground and pushed a button on the top of it.
Stein watched as the cylinder expanded, lengthened and generally transformed until it resembled a stitchworked Castor chair, to which he promptly sat on and wheeled south, to th local bar.

Ambience sighs, fighting the urge to facepalm. While he was aware that mana-attuned individuals were drawn to the Sword simply because of what it was and stood for, this wasn't something he'd ever heard of. "Yeah, I met him just awhile ago, in th' forest over to th' west. I, uh.." He glances up at Mogwai, then Sunflash, and glances upward again. "..Yeah. I'm here t'help with that problem, up there. That's why I came down from th' Holyland; me an' another are leaving tomorrow morning; I've pretty much spent most all of today checking up on.. uh, 'friends'. Otherwise, yeah, I live up there, with the Tree. And the Spirits. And.. this Sword."

Mogwai nods "I wish I lived up there. Sounds safe. Wouldn't need to watch. Could rest. Gods above I want to sleep. But can't. Not safe." she looks down at her feet, then back up at Ambience "Well, when you come back, I'll need to get you a drink. You'll deserve one, one way or another."

Ignored twice in a row, Demonicor simply shrugs and heads north a short ways, finding a quiet alleyway, and tears open a portal against the wall, stepping through it to home.

Sunflash crosses his arms at that point, rather blatently frowning. "Your other friend wouldn't happen to be some nutcase with a really big lobster-type mech, would he?"

Safe? The Holyland wasn't any safer than the middle realm, with that thing in existence. It was like a giant leech, and its reach could be felt across all realms, especially for the Mana Tribe. Ambience didn't want to disillusion the tired moogle, though, so he opted not to say anything about it. "I'm not doin' this to 'deserve' anything." He actually frowns when he speaks. "I'm not tryin' to be a hero. The one in charge of this whole thing just needs my help; someone to hold the Sword, because he can't. That's all I'm really doin'. But if I have to fight, too.. I guess.." He looks back at you. "I don't know 'bout any lobster 'mech', but he is really quick t'anger. He's come jus' short of condemning all of my kind to the Underworld for not doin' anything about the Fortress sooner. Th' whole thing's kinda complicated."

Sunflash chuckles lightly. "Sounds about right. Name of Haut or some such? And you're going to try to go after that with just the two of you?"

Mogwai shrugs "Either you'll lose, and need a drink to cheer up. Or you'll win, and everyone will want to celebrate, and you need drinks at a party. Or you'll be dead, in which case Gizmo will put you on a boat, cover it in booze, and send you off for a Gigas funeral."

Ambience frowns. He was barely ten and a half years old. Why did he need to be thinking about this kind of stuff? The grimace he then showed was plainly obvious in how he was feeling about this whole thing. "I'm trying not t'think about that. And to be completely 'n 100% honest, I don't know what the plan is. I'm not leadin' this thing, he is. Yeah, 'Haut' is his name. Why, you know him?" Ambience physically turned to Sunflash at this notion, the gleam of his Sword once again full-on in Mogwai's face.

Mogwai is reminded of her recent actions as Ambience turns away. Swords can't talk, even if it DID remind her of Kalin, who barely anyone else could understand. This thing was different in many ways though. It was unmoving, dense... and shiny. The guy never did answer if it belonged to Kalin or not did he? It probably did. She reached out to take it...

Sunflash doesn't try to stop the very slow facepalm that is applied to his face. After a moment, he lowers his hand and opens his eyes again. "Yeah, I do. Helped him and that one lady, Jill or whatever, some back near Viorar. Were chasing some punks that kidnapped people before we split up." He peered at the kid.

As Mogwai's furry paws reach out toward the sheathed weapon on Ambience's back, two sudden bursts of contained green light manifest into two very small Dryads, hovering in the air between Mogwai and the Sword; tiny wooden arms are crossed in front of tiny wooden chests, their leafy hair fluttering about their cross-looking faces in a nonexistence-yet-ongoing breeze. They don't look pleased.

Ambience doesn't seem to notice what's going on behind him. If he does, he's ignoring it. "You know Ms. Jillian and Ms. Lillian, then, too? I didn't even know he had any other friends!" Ambience pauses, reluctance overshading the first bout of optimism he'd had in close to two weeks. But hey, what could it hurt? "You should come with me, then. With us, I mean. With him. I really don't know what kinda plan he's got in mind, but.. y'know.." Ambience looked up at him, at that moment looking more like a scared little kid than anything else. But just for a moment. "I kinda wouldn't mind comin' outta this alive. If I had t'be honest."

Mogwai looks confused "Wha? Oi, what do you two want? I just wanted to return it to it's owner is all. I'm on the side of justice and right!" A very small part of her mind is reminding her that she WAS just caught trying to pickpocket someone, but she decides to ignore it.

Sunflash let it hang there for a moment, seeming to think it over. But he didn't take long. "I think that sounds like a good idea to me. Haut probably has some blaze-of-glory plan in mind. Think I can help temper that enough to keep us intact." He held his hand out. "I never introducted myself. Call me Sunflash. Most do."

In perfectly-choreographed unison, the two Dryads uncross their arms and extend one of them toward Mogwai; a trace of pink light can be seen forming on the ends of their tiny wooden arms, and a very subtle aroma wafts outward from it, carried along by an unnatural breeze that just-so-happens to pick up. Is that.. flowers? Of some kind, anyway. The two Dryads continue to glare at Mogwai, but their individual pink light shows remain dull, as yet.

Ambience reaches up to take Sunflash's hand, and shakes it a bit meekly. "I am thankful, then, Sunflash. I think th' part of this I might enjoy most is th' fact that there'll be someone else around that isn't lookin' for reasons to blame me for what I didn't do, rather than thank me or be grateful for what I'm helpin' with." The tone is definitely one of annoyance, but it plainly isn't directed at Sunflash. And, as yet, he still hasn't noticed Mogwai's antics.

Sunflash shakes Ambi's hand gently, and gives a laugh. "Tis always easier to face a terriable foe in good company, lad. Tis why you usually hear the big heroes being a group of friends, rather than a bunch of foes." He paused to peer at Mogwai. "I have some things to wrap up here before I'm ready to go, and it seems you've got an overly curious friend to talk to. I'll catchup with ya before too long, m'kay?"

That little voice in Mogwai's head is getting stronger now. Saying something like "You know, that looks an awful lot like the thing Kalin does to force you to pass out! Better not do this! Or on second thought, DO do this. You could use a nap." Finally, the voice seemed to be agreeing! "FOR JUSTICE!" she shouts before trying to reach past the little spirits.

Ambience nods affirmingly, fighting back a pang of guilt. He'd lied to Twilight Sparkle already, as he had no intention of actually coming to bring her with them to the Fortress like he'd promised. But then, this was different; he knew Haut. He knew Ms. Jillian. Those two things alone made Sunflash an exception; despite the fact that he, in a memory now unknown to him, might have known Twilight as well, the plain fact was that he didn't, now. And he couldn't risk her safety against the unknown, when he couldn't even be sure of his OWN. Lie or otherwise, it was for the best. "If it suits you, you, be here 'n town, tomorrow morning. After all preparations are done, I'll come back and pick you up, then we'll head t'where Haut is, over at Monstro Town. Is that okay?"

Sunflash gives a sharp nod. "Aye. I'll be here!" He paused and gave a grin. "And don't forget to keep yer head up. The dice of fate haven't even started to role yet. We might yet pull out completely intact." With a wink, he turned and sauntered off to parts unknown.

Justice, indeed. That was all the motivation they need, as a cloud of swirling pink and purple flower petals are suddenly summoned forth in front of the Dryads, cascading down over Mogwai's lunging form and emitting a significantly powerful sleep-inducing magic effect along with them.

The cry from Mogwai is enough to jolt Ambience's attention away from you as he departs, turning around just in time to avoid the Sword being grabbed from his back... and allowing him to witness the pretty cloud of petals now swirling around the moogle that had attempted to claim his weapon. He looks.. confused, to say the least.

Mogwai totters this way and that, struggling to fight it. That little voice pipes up again, saying something like "Oh quit whining and take your nap." before she falls forward, passed out before she hits the ground.

Ambience frowns, looking down at the moogle on the ground, then at the two Dryads floating in the air above her. They give uniformed shrugs, and Ambience only sighs. "Alright, alright. We've gotten enough attention for tonight. We gotta go back and let Mama know what's goin' on.. and get some sleep, too. Gonna be a big day tomorrow, for all of us." He glanced one more time skyward, before placing a palm flat against his chest, which issues both him and the Dryads to simply fade away, out of sight.
