Lina clicked the lock behind her as she wandered into her appartment, removing her hat and tossing it on the coat rack, flexing her ears from a long day of keeping them covered, shaking her hair out a bit in the process. She began to slip out of her guard clothes when she noticed something amiss....

Sitting in a seat set at the dining table within Lina's home, Cerin begins to pour himself a glass of wine. "Hello Lina, I hope you don't mind a visit," he says, pouring wine into a glass across the table from him, "Sit, have a glass of wine. We need to talk." Cerin pulls his hood down from atop his head to reveal his tan face and white hair, which he brushes from his face.

Lina stood there a moment, her hand moving to her wand before the man revealed himself "I suppose I'd be dead if you wanted me to be... you could have waited until I got home, and knocked like a normal person." she left her wand holstered and removed her jacket, slipping her tail up out of her pants with a small grumble before joining the stranger at the table. "Does Elessar know you break into his employee's homes?"

"Breaking in? No, no, that implies I broke something. Unlawful entry though, yes," Cerin says, taking a sip of his wine, "Elessar probably doesn't suspect I would have any reason to meet you here, although I'm sure he suspects I would meet you. Nice place you have here. More importantly, though- Does Elessar know that you have... Well, you know what I'm refering to." Cerin looks at Lina's ears and tail, before taking another sip of his wine, before giving smirk.

Lina flicked her ears back as she give a soft hiss, showing her less-than-human teeth "I make no effort to hide them, so yes, he knows." she seemed a little more than tense in her chair, nearly glaring at Cerin, tail flicking nervously behind her "I wonder then, if you're not here to kill me, and you're obviously not here for the wine, what then do you want?" the guard kept her hand not too far from her wand.

Cerin sets his glass of wine down, before sighing. "I have a few questions for you. To start it off, why did you join this company? What do you hope to achieve with us?" he asks, setting his metal arm on the table with a light thump, "I need honest answers."

Cerin sets his glass of wine down, before sighing. "I have a few questions for you. To start it off, why did you join this company? What do you hope to achieve with us?" he asks, setting his metal arm on the table with a light thump, "I need honest answers."

Ignoring her comment, Cerin continues his interrogation. "Why do you love security? Do you enjoy having an excuse to fight people? Or is it that you enjoy the satisfaction of protecting others?" he asks, tapping a metal finger on the table.

Annoyed at the comment, Lina's ears flicked a bit "I enjoy knowing that what I've done will keep people out who shouldn't be inside... which is why tonight will be a really annoying night of spellcasting." her blunted claws ticked on the tabletop "If the people inside are safe, that's a plus, but I can't do anything about the machines and structure. People, that's my business, and I make an effort to know my business."

Cerin grins, leaning back in his seat. "Sure, if you want to attack me go ahead, but I got what I needed. I'm sure we'll get along fine, when the time comes," he says, before standing himself up, "You can keep the wine. Oh, and by the way- Keep it in mind that I'm the one training the other guards for combat. Just a little heads up, in case you were considering using that wand of yours."

"Oh, I don't think I need to attack the boss's pet rat." Lina stood with a chuckle, taking her glass over to the counter "From what I hear, you're training -some- of them. Go ahead and keep them, they know well enough what they know and will listen to me on procedure, the rest are mine. You're not the only one who knows things." she sniffed at her wine glass not bothering to look back.

Cerin chuckles, pulling his hood up. "If I was his pet, I wouldn't be here. If anything... I'm close now because it's important," he says, before looking over his shoulder, "And trust me, I'm not a rat. At least, not anymore. Enjoy the wine, it's not poisoned- There would be no sense in tainting something so delicious, especially when I have better methods to do that. I need you alive."

"That's not nearly as comforting as you try to make it sound." Lina drank back her glass in a swift motion, setting it gently on the counter before turning back to look at Cerin again "I'll be watching you more closely. You can bet on that."

"I'm not the one you should be watching," Cerin says, stepping over toward one of Lina's windows, "I have nothing to hide, either. We could even spar some time." He opens the window up and hops out, leaving the premises.
