Hastur pulls out a guitar from his backpack and begins playing 'Yet Again'.

The rain drizzled down on the fountain area, a symphony of drops lightly playing across every surface, turning the Truce night into a field of grey shapes, but at least it's only a gentle sprinkle in the warming air of early spring.

The rain drizzled down on the fountain area, a symphony of drops lightly playing across every surface, turning the Truce night into a field of grey shapes, but at least it's only a gentle sprinkle in the warming air of early spring.

Above the sky of Truce, a shadow was cast, along with an extremely loud sound, akin with the burning of fire. Bursting through the clouds a dark green spaceship began to fall. A skull and crossbones could be seen at the ships head, molded in the front in a stylized manner. Of course, the design would be ruined as the ship was obviously going to crash. Right in the Truce Canyon. This town never gets a break. (Aerion)

Faith was lying on the rim of the fountain, she looked up at the clouds trying to discern shapes, she loved to gaze up at sky in all its majesty. Her feet rested in the fountain, screw those who drank from it, she thought; with a stick of pocky in her mouth and Stardust resting against the rim of the fountain, Faith felt at peace.

Rca swings in, using his RCA whip like a certain arachnid themed superhero would use spider silk. He lands in the foutain, looking badass, and looks around. He slumps, as if someone he had been looking for wasn't there."

"Oh dear, tha can't be good." Jeffery looks up at the spaceship as it careens towards the canyons north of Truce. He is pushed aside by Helios, almost making him drop his briefcase, as the little mechon flies towards the canyons. "We can't leave for FIVE MINUTES without something like this happening!" Helios races out of the north gate and dissappears from sight. "That was wierd..." Jeffery dusts his suit jacket off and sits down on the bench next to the fountain.

RetroLudus walks in toward the fountain, stepping close to sit around the lip. She takes a drink from an un-marked bottle, stretching a bit, before turning her head toward Jeffery to get a better listen. "What can't be good?" she asks, leaning toward him, taking another drink.

Hastur looks up at the spaceship as it falls, sighing and shaking his head. He walks over to the fountain and sits down on one of the nearby benches, observing all of the people there.

Aly places his hand to the side of his head and takes a swig from his rum as he sits beside RetroLudus "Ship of some sort looks like. If it used to be of a flying type, it isn't any more... er, captain."

Garoth places his hand to the side of his head and takes a swig from his rum as he sits beside RetroLudus "Ship of some sort looks like. If it used to be of a flying type, it isn't any more... er, captain." he watches the ship plummet quickly through the atmosphere.

[Aerion pushed a bit of wood off of him and smeeled the smoke around him. He was more than a little upset about the Crossbones being in the condition it was in, but didn't have many options. "Alright, so, step one, get off the burning wooden spaceship." Aerion pulled his shirt up over his mouth and coughed some more. "So THIS is why wood fell out of fasion in shipbuilding!" (c)

It took awhile for the pirate to get off of the burning vessel, but eventually Captain Freeman was able to make his way out onto the canyon floor. Just in time too, as he heard a massive explosion as he got off and looked behind him. Second later, the hand of a giant robot fell by Aerion's side. "Alright. That makes two really expensive things broken. Fine day this be lookin' ta be!"

Faith looked up to the ship, she raised her arm up, it's as if she could touch it, she thought, she moved her arm with the ship as it barreled though the atmosphere, and when it entered the canyon she threw her arm back,'Bppploosh" she made the noise as it touched down.

Rca looks over at the person in the fountain with him. "Well, what brings you here?"

RetroLudus reaches over and pats Garoth on the back with a smile. "Ah, a newcomer! Or a terrible pilot. Or maybe a little of both," she says, shrugging, pulling Garoth's pumpkin head in closer, "Glad to see you feeling well enough to drink rum and walk around, Hopefully your insides are in a reasonable state, I had to patch you up in a haste. Almost made you a zombie."

Hastur looked at Faith and smirked. He set his backpack down to his side and opened it. He reached into it and pulled out a bottle of sake, a pair of chopsticks, and a large bowl of steaming oyakodon. He then reclosed his backpack and quickly began eating his meal, simply eating quickly, not sloppily.

"Well, crash landings are usually bad..." Jeffery shrugs and turns to Retro after the ship crashes, opening his briefcase. "Well, anyway, how are you doing?" He pulls out his shoe polish and begins to shine his shoe while looking at her.

Wincing internally from the pat to his back, Garoth nods "The alcohol helps really... besides, it's not like you've got much more to drink than rum up on your ship, I've gotten used to it." he smiles at the captain (which still remains his one and only expression) "So, think they need any help?"

Aerion began to walk around the canyon, trying to figure out how to get out. He noticed a bridge and a city to the south. A place with a bed that isn't currenty englulfed in fire would probably be as good a place as any to start with. Brushing the soot, ash, and splinters off of his jacket, Aerion smiled and began his trek towards the town.

Faith jumped up when she saw the explosion caused by the flying vessel,"Holy hell, that was awesome." Faith was laughing at the intensity of the explosion, like any girl with simple tastes, she liked watching things go boom. Faith grabbed Stardust up and walked over to one of the nearby benches, this one in particular had a giganto sitting upon it. She waved to the bench's occupant,"Hey, how goes it Hastur?"

RetroLudus chuckles and pats Garoth on the shoulder, taking another drink from her own bottle. "You know, if you ever need any food or better drink just ask the chef. He's a zombie, sure, but he was once a fine chef! Although... Be careful of soups, sometimes little bits of him fall in," she says, before turning toward Jeffery, "As for your question, I'm positively fine. This guy's the one who got stabbed a while ago. Been on my ship recovering."

Hastur smiled at Faith, taking a napkin from his pocket and quickly wiping his mouth off. "Pretty well. Better than the guy who owned that ship, that's for sure." He chuckled and sipped his sake, sliding his backpack off the bench and onto the ground, making room for Faith if she wanted to take a seat. "And how's it going for you, Miss?"

"Oh, well I'm glad h is doing better." Jeffery peers at his shoe once he finishes polishing it, checking if he missed anything. He frowns and rubs the rag against one spot on the toe of the shoe. "There, got one done." He starts polishing the other shoe.

Garoth gulps some and takes another drink of his bottle "I'll keep that in mind." he sets his bottle down and leans back slightly on the bench "In all honesty... if I were to become a walking dead, I think I'd prefer the life of a vampire rather than a rotting shambling corpse."

Rca looks around, ignoring Faith's rudeness. "Where the devil ishe?"

It took Aerion significantly longer than he would have liked, but he found a road and made his way south. Of course, he was interrupted by a few poorly dressed flying green things. One even pointed at him and SANG AN IMP SONG! Aerion pushed them out of his way, continuing south. "This is starting to look like a fantasy story," Aerion said ironically.

Faith took the seat next to Hastur placed Stardust on her lap and began to tune it correctly, her focus however, was on the smoke protruding from the north. "Money's a little tough here and there, not everyone appreciates the arts like you and Trixie do, that's for sure."

RetroLudus chuckles and smirks, taking a sip of her rum. "I could always make you a lich like me. We're basically immortal," she says, reaching down to lightly prod Garoth's wound, "And nearly unkillable."

Hastur shrugged and finished his meal, placing the bowl back into his backpack and pulled out a bottle of beer. "It's a shame, really. Especially when they don't appreciate a great instrument like the bass." He sipped his sake again, then smiled at Faith and offered her the beer.

Rca looks around, inspecting the benches. "Has anyone seen a rather British robot around lately?"

Jeffery continues to shine his shoe, frowning at some of the stubborn spots that refuse to polish correctly.

Shaking his head slowly, Garoth sits back up and takes another swig of his rum "I think I do alright as is." he shakes the bottle a little with a sigh and sets it aside "Besides, I doubt it's that easy to just become 'almost immortal'. Theres probably some sort of catch to it."

Aerion finally makes his way into town. He looks remarkably well for a person just surviving a crash. His long pointed ears shimmered with gold peircings, only drawing more attention to his face. The mind age lines were contrasted with his young, energetic eyes and white smile. Well, sarcastic smile. "...Alright lads, name's Freeman. Does anybody have a ship? Preferably one that isn't on fire and can get me back home? Or at least Vegas?"

Faith grabbed the beer in earnest, "Thanks, man." she reached into her chest pocket and took out two sticks of pocky, one for herself which she held between her lips, the other she held out for Hastur to take.

Rca thinks to himself, Why won't anybody help me? He keeps looking around.

Hastur smiled and took the pocky from Faith. He then looked up at Rca. "If you're talking about a female British robot named Lynnette, then she's in Viorar. Don't know any other British robots, so can't help ya out any more than that." He then looked at the newcomer, a smirk on his face. "The captain should be able to help ya, sir." He then looked back at Faith, smiling and chewing on the pocky. "Been a long time since I've had pocky. Thanks."

RetroLudus puts a finger to Garoth's mouth for a moment. "Hold that thought, punkin'. Did I hear someone asking for a ship?" she asks, standing, "Because if it's a ship you're after, call me Captain. However, I can't get you to Vegas- Never heard of the place. What's it got there that you're looking for?

"Vegas? I've been there once..." Jeffery thinks back to his trip to the casino city. "My coworker ended up gambling away all of his cash, so he had to stay behind and get a job at the branch there, good times..." He smirks at the memory.

The woman dressed like a pirate began to speak. And then Aerion noticed the fact she was dressed like a pirate. His eyes scanned her in full attentive captivation. "...well... I can... I can live here for awhile," he thought out loud at the idea of other pirates. "Of course, from one Captain to another, I'm curious how ye haven't heard of Vegas. Big planet, giant desert, gambling everywhere. Great place to make a buck and crimal record at the same time."

Faith finishes tuning Stardust, and strums a few notes absent mindedly, her focus is almost solely on the pirate who had wandered into town at this point, she had guessed that he was piloting the ship that crashed north of the area. She poked Hastur on the shoulder, and pointed his attention at the newcomer, she figured he could be a source of entertainment for the both of them. She hoped the newcomer and herself got along better than she did with the buxom pirate.

RetroLudus shrugs and shakes her head. "You're in the wrong place for that- Suffice to say, you're not in the universe you knew. But hey, good news," she says, holding up her bottle, "I've got enough rum to wash away the realization that you're never going to see most of your friends or family again."

Hastur blinked and looked at where Faith was pointing. He smirked and looked back at Faith. "He seems a tad odd. This should be interesting." He chuckled and drank the last bit of sake from the bottle, then put it back into his backpack.

With a shrug, Jeffery returns to polishing his shoe. After a moment of that, he finishes and puts the polish and the rag back into his briefcase. He leans back against the bench, looking at the new pirate disintrestedly. "So, who are you anyway?"

Garoth shakes his head as he gets up, patting RetroLudus on the shoulder on the way past "I think I'll just head back to the ship, the rum is out, and the headache is coming back." he smiles widely (still the only feature his pumpkin is capable of displaying) as he wanders toward the docks and the ghost ship tied there.

Aerion shifts awkwardly, keeping a sly smile to hide the fact. "Sorry lass, I don't drink after the war." Of course, the notion of Aerion not seeing his friends again bothered him. Or it would, if he didn't notice Jonathan. "Jonathan lad! I thought ye were on Haven with Emily? What brings ye ta this town without a spaceport?" Aerion sat down next to the human in a suit. "Who's the lass?" He asked quitely.

Faith busted out laughing at the Captain's outbursts to the accountant and the lich, she had almost choked on her pocky.

Hastur laughed heartily, patting Faith on her back a little roughly to make sure she didn't choke.

Jeffery blinks. "Who is Jonathan?" He looks at Aerion oddly. "And that's Retro over there."

RetroLudus steps closer to Aerion, waving her bottle around. "What are you, crazy? No drinking? Nonsense!" she says, swinging an arm over his shoulder, "Come on, how can you possibly not drink? I'm always drinking! I was drunk when I sewed that guy up, I'm drunk when I captain my ship, and I'm drunk when I drink!"

Don't worry Jonathan, I won't leave ya alone till yer back safetly at home. That's what friends are for!" Aerion patted the man gently on the back. Of course, the beautiful, beautiful young lady began speaking to Aerion again, who felt he needed to defend himself. "Me best friend died when I couldn't save 'im. A captain's duty is too his crew, even their memories. And so, I honor his memroy with that the last bottle I ever shared was with him."

Yeah... new round still... like post and stuff... (Aerion)

Hastur smirked a bit at RetroLudus's comment, but the smirk faded as Aerion spoke. He turned to Faith. "Wow. I wasn't expecting that. He's quite honorable."

RetroLudus laughs and holds her bottle up. "Wouldn't a friend like him want you to drink and enjoy yourself?" she asks, taking another drink, "I mean, c'mon, it's not like he told you to stop drinkin'!"

Jeffery sighs. "But my name is Jeffery. I'm an accountant..."

"Indeed Hastur, Hell of a captain, I'm sure I'd be happy to serve under him." Faith agreed with her friend, although she had just had her third beer, so the second part of her statement was mostly the alcohol talking.

"A friend like that wanted me to look out for meself, and I'm doin' that right now." Aerion's tone was more respectful than it was angry. Any person with their own ship demanded respect, and Aerion somehow crashed his. He turned around. "Speaking of looking out for meself, I need yer engineering skills Jonathan. Can ye help me fix up the Crossbones?"

Faith new Aerion's words were falling on deaf ears when it came to Jeffery, she stood up and put Stardust away. Walking over to The captain, Faith introduced herself, " Faith moonbeam, i heard you were having some ship troubles, maybe I could help, Jeffery here wouldn't be able to help you anyhow."

"The Crossbones? You mean that spaceship that crashed a little bit ago?" Jeffery groaned. "I'm an accountant, not an engineer. And my name is Jeffery!"

RetroLudus takes another drink, emptying the bottle. "C'mon, how could drinking cause any harm? I mean, worst case you vomit all over," she says, shrugging, "It's not like you'd die. Well, you might, but if you did I could just bring you back as a zombie."

Hastur chuckled at his friend's statement. "I don't see you serving on a ship, Faith. No disrespect, just think you'd be more one to stay on land and just continue your great bass playing." He smirked and pulled another bottle of sake out of his backpack, chugging it down quickly. By now, his cheeks were beginning to get a little flushed from the strong alcohol. He got up and walked over to the captain as well. "Hastur Xel'lotath. You need any assistance, I'm willing to do what I can, as long as it doesn't clash with my other job." (Hastur)

Jeffery looks like he's about to go south, but suddenly stops short at the door.

"No disrespect towards you captain, but me drunk days are over. Not to mean there ain't other ways ta spend time together..." Aerion added with a wink. "Now, Mr. Enkaria" Aerion spoke to Jonathan "I think you can agree after the death of your uncle that zombies and us don't mix, eh? But how about you go accounting me ship and fix it up, if that's what ye call it these days."

"As for ye two, I think that I have use for ya. If ye can redirect me to the nearest spaceport, I think that ye might save Jonathan and I some trouble." Aerion glanced as Hastur in particular. "Been awhile since I've seen a human yer size. Where did ye say yer from...?"

Faith looks to the captain in confusion,"Well we don't have a spaceport, per say; but we do have an aeroport and captain Beatrix pilots the Red Rose."

Hastur nods at Faith's statement. "That's all true. And I'm not a human. I'm a giganto. We're...quite a bit bigger, as well as hardier and stronger, than humans. As for where I'm from, I come from Wutai."

"But my uncle is fine! He never died in the first place." Jeffery groans. "And accounting can't fix a spaceship, are you crazy?"

"And delicious," RetroLudus says, delivering a wink in the direction of Hastur, "Don't forget that, big boy. But, they're both right, not much space around here to travel to- Just the moon really. You're stuck. But, if you want to see a good ship, come see mine. It's the one that glows, over at the docks. That offer's extended to you also, Hastur."

Aerion shook his head. "That won't get me off planet." Hastur himself was rahter interesting. He extended his hand to Hastur's "Name's Aerion Freeman, Captain of the Crossbones. I'm a Jawhen, but I made it off planet before the Empire wrecked it. Where exactly is Wutai though? Never heard of that planet. Oh, and Jonathan, I forgot, ye worked with mechs, not ships. Sorry about the mixup. I don't know yer technical words." Aerion appologized to the mechanic.

Finally, Aerion turned to Retro. "Docks? Do you mean, like, with water...? And sails?" Aerion walked a little east, noticing the white sails on in the distance. "...By the forefathers, I never thought I'd see the day. These things don't exsist anymore..." Aerion's jaw was opened rather stupidly. He could never resist outdated, ancient, and wooden technology.

Faith bats her eyelashes at Retro, attempting to seem innocent in all matters, "But not me captain?" It's not that she didn't like the lich, quite the opposite in fact, it's just that they had gotten off on a rotten start.

Hastur shakes Aerion's hand, then chuckles and grins at RetroLudus, then Faith. "I'm sure I'll have to visit sometime soon, captain. Perhaps Faith could join us? I remeber that you two didn't get off to the best start, but I'm sure you two could get along quite well if you had a fresh start. Or if I were there to mediate, perhaps." He winks at Faith.

Jeffery groaned, unwilling to try and fight the crazy space pirate elf guy's flawed logic anymore. "Whatever, I have paperwork to do.." He pulled out some forms and began filling them out.

"No, she's not allowed," RetroLudus says, crossing her arms under her breasts, "Now, if you don't mind, I'm heading back to my ship. Whether I make a bunch of noise is up to you two." She begins to walk off, toward her ship, humming a sea shanty.

Faith patted Hastur on the back,"Thanks anyway buddy," she turned to talk to Aerion, Hey the inn is to the south if you want a place to sleep that's not Retro's bedchambers." Faith said her goodbyes to anyone who would listen. Faith headed off to the east towards the docks, she could find a ride she was sure.

Aerion bowed. "I think that that woman is our best chance to ge back home Jonathan, we're going." Aerion straightend his jacked, grabbed Jonathan's arm, and dragged him toward's Retro's ship. "I hope ye don't mind me comin' along, lass. I think we may have a few things to discuss!" Aerion leaned back to the uncooperative Jeffery. "Last woman I talked to became a lesbian. Be my wingman."

Jeffery shrieks and grabs his briefcase and the papers as he gets dragged along. "What are you doing? Ack!"

Hastur shrugged and headed in the direction of the docks, smirking. "Sounds like this is gonna be a fun night. Wonder if I'll be able to find Faith some other time, hang out with her again." He smiled widely and began whistling a tune.
