A pair of lights from the Gitmidur advanced forward among the sprawling Donut Plains, offering little illumination among the moonlit terrain. "Is it really necessary to do this at night?" mumbled Oboyo, turning to face Stretch who had a mischevious grin on his face. "I already tolds ya bossman, they all sleep durin' the day. Ya wanna make a good impression, ya gotta come at the right time!"

Carmichael sat with one leg over the other keeping a close eye on Anders, he had made sure he stayed still due to the fact that, despite being small he still weighed a good amount and his running about the chopper could cause... problems. Anders was simply sitting at one of the windows looking outside in awe, or as much awe as a bunch of metal chunks in humanoid form could show.

Roche as silently in the Gitmidur reading his text, he was already close to god he didn't have to make a big deal about this flying nonsense, he looked over the chopper's occupants, and went back to his place in the text.

With her wings extended, Twilight Sparkle casually flies alongside the helicopter, being attentive in order to avoid running into it or the terrain. She's smiling, however, as the wind and downwash from the rotorblades whips her mane and tail about wildly.

Lenai hums and happily nibbles on a cookie, the rest of the tray resting on her lap. "Hayyyy Mr. Ghosty, ghosts like cookies right?" she asks, waving her half-eaten cookie in the air, "Because these things are delicious, and if anything will make them happy to see us it's cookies, not darkness!" She giggles a bit and hums, taking another bite, swaying from side to side.

Hastur leans back in his seat, an earbud in one ear, listening to heavy metal as he sits by the windo, keeping an eye on his ward. "I wish I could be out there with her to keep her safe, but this damn body has no means of flight." He sighs and continues looking out the window at Twilight, watching to make sure she stays safe.

Trixie shrugs and yawns from her seat "Most ghosts aren't even solid enough to eat things without the spirit rune's influence anyways, don't know why you'd bother bringing a box of cookies." she leans over and pokes Hastur in the ribs with a hoof "Quit worrying so much would you? She's fine, probably safer out there under her own power than in this flying sardine can."

Mekis laid against Esteban, attempting to sleep, and failing miserably. He still found riding in this vehicle awful. Still, he was mildly comforted by Lenai's presence, who he watched as he continued his feeble attempts to sleep.

Flight Sergeant Lynette Bishop follows with Twilight, probably a little harder to see, since she doesn't exactly carry a light source. Boys Anti-tank rifle in hand, she stays close, watching the ground in silence.

"I really feel like I'm walking into a trap." commented Oboyo as the Gitmidur began to slow down, hovering above a dock not far away from a dirty mansion. His comment all too apparent in the extra firepower that he asked to come along. "Relax! Boos are the friendliest ghosts you'll ever meet."
"We're here, Mr. J! U-um..I don't have to come along, do I?" asked Launchpad, finalizing the landing procedures. Before Oboyo could set his fears at ease, Stretch stretched his head into the cockpit and gave the pelican a sudden shock. "WHY SO SCARED?!" he shouted suddenly, pulling back and laughing to himself. Oboyo muttered as Launchpad yelped loudly, opening the door and stepping out of the helicopter. "Well I guess here goes nothing. Everyone ready?"

Carmichael moved closer to Hastur, Anders close in tow. Carmichael attempted to get Hastur's attention, "How you feeling friend? You gave us quite a scare the other day." He was generally concerned with Hastur's wellbeing, he could guess what he was like, worried about everyone else's safety while throwing his own to the wind to ensure theirs.

Even though she's flying right beside the helicopter, Twilight Sparkle turns to Lynette to give her a reassuring smile, before touching down lightly on the ground and folding her wings closed as she nods to Oboyo.

"I'm alright. Thanks for the concern, and the help the other day. I appreciate it." Hastur smiles to Carmichael, then pulls out his earbud and puts his music player away. He stands up, cracking his knuckles. "I'm ready, boss. Let's get this show on the road." He smiles down at Trixie and heads to the doorway, standing beside it before looking back at Trixie, then Lenai. "As always, ladies first."

Lenai hops out of the Gitmidur, munching down the last bite of her cookie. "Well Ms. Meanie-horse, I won't be giving you any cookies," she says, turning toward the rest of the group, "In fact, who wants a cookie? They're delicious, I baked them myself, nya!" She hums softly and walks along, holding the tray out with a wide grin.

The Brittanian catgirl sniper doesn't quite alight with the others, prefering to hover a foot off the ground. Lynette Bishop's able to take advantage of her natural shortness to allow her to operate her flight unit in cramped spaces, allowing her to manage trench runs if necessary. She nudges Twilight, still a little nervous, though glad to have the Alicorn with her.

Roche stood up and stepped off the helicopter, he looked over to Lenai, he was honestly sorry for what had went down between the two of them, they had parted on less than friendly terms. He decides to see if he can make amends, "Miss Lenai, I would like to officially apologize regarding my behavior last we met, and I would be honored if I could partake in your baked goods." he smiled at the girl, looking apologetic.

Trixie nods and smiles as she makes her way past Hastur "Well hopefully this will be short. This place looks more run down than some of the places I've worked in the past." she walks after Jinsaka, drawing out a set of small crystals from her cloak "But just in case..."

Gizmo double checks her weapons as she joins the others. In her experience, ghosts tend to burn ok. And if that fails... well, maybe she could just find something

Mekis quickly exited the helicopter quickly, forgetting to pay mind to courtesy. Esteban jumped down and waddled after Mekis, who stood next to Lenai. Hearing Roche, he remembered his previous misstep, whatever it had been. "Good, make sure not to behave in such a manner again. Or else." Mekis gave Roche an icy glare, unsure why, other than the fact that he had caused Lenai distress somehow. It was a good enough reason for him.

"Remember, we're here to make friends." said Oboyo, reminding the group of their goal as he began to approach the mansion's front door. Before he could grab the door's handle, an elderly boo appeared before him. "Oh! Terribly sorry, sir. Did I startle you? I thought to come and invite you all inside. But I am getting ahead of myself. I am Bootler, and it is my pleasure to serve."

"Well if ain't the old man." cracked Stretch in a snide manner. "Ya can drop the butler act. I'm sorta with these guys now and we need to see Lady Bow." Bootler adjusted his glasses, holding a stubby arm out that somehow kept the door open. "Terribly sorry, sir. But Lady Bow is out for the evening. Perhaps your friends would like to come inside and have some tea in the meantime?"

Hastur climbs down from the Gitmidur in time to hear the conversation. He smiles and nods. "I would like that very much, sir. Thank you for the offer. I will, of course, have to check with my ward." He looks down at Twilight. "Think it would be okay to do that? He seems friendly and sincere enough, not to mention polite."

Roche was a little perplexed, to say the least. He understood that everything his Lord made had purpose, but discerning that purpose got a little tough at times, he could tell that these Boos would be one of those times. He was ready for anything however, Mary was full and ready for combat if needed.

As she turns to look at the mansion on the way in, Twilight Sparkle's expression becomes uneasy, before she shakes her head and forces her concerns down while giving her friend a warm smile. "Now isn't the time to be worried... Granted, I won't be using my magic, but it's for a good reason that I decided to stop using it... And don't worry, Lynette. Everything's going to be fine. And yes, Hastur, it is - stay alert, but don't make it obvious."

Gizmo bows to the butler "I'd love to. Any idea where the good Lady has gone?" Nothing seemed to have gone wrong yet, but it never hurt to keep an eye on all the facts.

Lenai plops a cookie into the hands of Roche, then hands one to Mekis, turning to the side, waving Roche off dismissively. She waves over to Lynne and beckons her over, pointing at the cookies as she walks closer to the entrance of the mansion, listening to the ghosts. "Nya, hello Mr. Bootler," she says, waving to the ghost, picking up another cookie to chew on.

The mention of tea (along with Twilight's reassurance) is enough for Lynette Bishop to sling her rifle onto her back, smiling a bit. "Tea would be nice. Usually I'm the one suggesting tea." She looks to Twilight. "Should I disengage my flight unit?"

Carmichael looked at the mansion in all its glory, "Nice digs." he said to himself, he decided to he would make the most of this outing seeing as much of the manor as he couldAnders looked at the boo, he was going crazy inside over the fact that he had just went through the door he followed Carmichael intently, excited over what awaited him inside.

With her small set of crystals circling her head, Trixie simply nods and walks past the elderly boo "Thank you Bootler. Would you happen to have any wine? Trixie would enjoy a glass of that, but otherwise, yes, tea would do fine." she makes her way toward what she believes to be the sitting room.

Mekis thought he had glared long enough, and returned his face to a more complacent state as he followed Lenai. A moment later he realized there was a cookie in his hand. He noticed Lenai tray and realized it must have been her who put it there. "Thank you." he said to her, before biting off a piece.

With a undignified screech, the M85 slams into the ground behind the Gitmidur and makes a nice crater. Either it's landing skills are improving or it just fell out of the sky like a rock, because it makes a single crater instead of tearing up most of the lawn in a drawn-out crash landing. Helios hovers up off of the stunned mechon's head and slowly orbits the crater, still trying to regain his senses.

"That was... unpleasant. M85, stay here and, we don't know... recover or something." Leaving the M85 to it's own devices, Helios woozily hovers after the people entering the nearby building. He assumed that was the rest of the PDF, or else he was going to get an impromptu tour of that creaky old mansion with a bunch of tourists.

Refusing hospitality is the first mistake in seeking an alliance. "We would be honored." said Oboyo, entering the mansion and looking around. Several old paintings were lined along the walls, some of landscapes and some of certain individuals. A pair of eyes a painting of a blonde woman wearing a pink dress followed the group as they entered.

"You may make yourselves at home here while I prepare your tea." said Bootler as he floated off towards a door in the back of the massive sitting room. Oboyo nodded and took a seat in one of many dusty old couches. Among one of the many tables was a noticeable lever. "This place is awfully..quiet, Stretch. I thought you said there were a lot of boos here?" Stretch thought for a minute as he looked around. "Hmm..somethin' is different alright.."

Gizmo strolls behind Oboyo, keeping an eye on the paintings with an ear lightly trained on the conversation. She had always been a fan of art, and while the pieces weren't anything one would see in a museum, they spoke volumes about who painted them. Or who displayed them.

After giving the couches a once-over, Twilight Sparkle moves to rest against the wall of the sitting room, taking a seat and flicking her wings as she looks around. The rather out-of-place lever situated on the table, though, catches her attention, prompting the pegacorn mare to trot over to it.

Roche was happy to have been given such polite hospitality he called out to the boo prior to leaving, "I'll take earl grey if you have it." He decided to sit on one of the many lounge chairs that littered the area, while he awaited their gracious host.

Lynette Bishop takes a seat near Twilight, noting the unusual lever. She's removed her flight unit, and while still sans pants, she's still covered by a long shirt and penny loafers.

Hastur wanders into the mansion, whistling quietly. "Wow, this place is nice..." He notices the eyes on the painting move out of the corner of his eye, but simply takes note of it, rather than pointing it out. He follows Twilight, looking at the lever. "Wonder what it does... best not to touch it, though." He then looks around, taking mental pictures of the room, before looking at Twilight. "I wonder what Lady Bow is like. Never met a boo that was anything aside from a trickster. She sounds like she might have some class."

Carmichael looked at the old style paintings, they were marvelous, his attention was off of Anders. Anders however, was not so taken by the art, he was rather captivated with the lever on the table, "I MUST PULL IT." he thought to himself. He climbed the table and gave it a hard tug, curiosity getting the better of him.

Lenai hums a soft tune as she struts inside, looking around. "Awful dusty ain't it?" she says, plopping herself happily on the couch with Oboyo, setting the tray of cookies on her lap. She looks around the area, tapping her chin in deep thought in deep thought.

Still resetting his sensors, Helios hovered into the sitting room and looks around. "Hey, sorry we were a bit delayed." He flew over next to the table and waited to see what was going on, noting that golem pulling on some important-looking lever. He decided to back away a few feet, just in case something exploded.

Mekis looked about the room as he ate the rest of the cookie. He took a seat by Lenai on the arm of the couch. It was a tad difficult, and he had to use Esteban as a step ladder to help. Afterward, Esteban sneezed violently from all the dust, sending a plume of it into the air. 'Curse the cleaning staff!' he thought.

Trixie drags a medium sized chair with her as she wanders over beside the fireplace, climbing up into her chair to watch the flames as she waits.

As the lever is pulled, a massive unlit chandelier from above suddenly falls down towards the table with the lever! A short distance above the ground, and a -very- short distance above the giganto's head, the chandelier comes to a sudden stop. It then begans to gradually retract until it returns to the ceiling, causing the lever to snap back into its previous position.

Oboyo glanced up as the chandelier began to fell and held his hands up, bracing for impact. As the chandelier returned, he sighed and dropped his hands, glaring towards Carmichael and Anders. Stretch laughed a little to himself before speaking up. "Ahh, I love it when fleshies fall for that one! Well, you guys can wait here for Bootler for a little bit. I've gotta go check somethin." With that, Stretch began to float up towards the second floor while shouting at an ear piercing voice, "CASPER!"

Not long after Stretch departed, the door that Bootler entered before opened by itself while a serving platter with several cups of tea on it floated over towards the group, sitting itself on one of the dusty tables. At the same time, a painting nearby suddenly falls to the floor while one of the unoccupied recliners spontaneously folds back. Oboyo mumbled and picked up a cup of tea, not wanting to drink it but not wanting to insult the butler either. He took a light sip.

As she watches Anders pull on the lever, Twilight Sparkle shakes her head, grumbling in irritation to herself and fixing him with a withering glare. The sudden fall of the chandelier is enough to make her cringe as it comes close to hitting Hastur, however.
"Oh, come on now... Be careful with what you touch, alright? Oh, how I wish Fluttershy was here..." Twilight Sparkle reaches out to grab one of the cups, sighing and shaking her head as she takes a sip.

Lenai takes her cup of tea and gulps it down in one quick drink, smiling. "It tasted like... Boiled leaves," she says, nodding, taking a bite of another cookie rather happily, reaching over to pat Mekis' head.

Gizmo recoils as she sees the chandelier fall, pulling out a shield to hide under. When it turns out to just be a trick, she laughs. It's good to be frightened sometimes. When the tea comes out, she accepts a cup and takes a sip quite happily.

Hastur held his hands up to protect his friends from the falling chandelier, but relaxes as it stops and retracts itself. He sighs and rolls his eyes at Stretch. He then takes a cup of tea and sips it lightly. He notices that the platter didn't have the wine Trixie asked for, so he wanders over to Trixie, whistling a little tune as he pulls a small bottle and a glass from his backpack and handed them to her. He gives her a wink, then walks back over to Twilight. "Some place, eh?"

Carmichael saw the chandelier and looked over to Anders , settling with a stern finger wagging as punishment, he sighed, returning to gaze at the art. Meanwhile Anders continued pulling the lever enjoying the clicking noise it made, despite nothing happening.

Roche took a sip of his tea, Earl Grey it was not, but instead oolong, not his favorite blend, but it's bold taste enticed him to some avail. Being in this... cozy manor, was nice and all but he was starting to get a bit bored. He took out Mary and began spinning the chamber, entertaining himself.

Trixie plucks a cup of tea from the platter anyways, smiling up at Hastur in thanks as she sets the cup aside for the moment, uncorking the wine and pouring herself a small glass before taking a small sip, just sitting and relaxing for the moment, her crystals starting to gently spin in patterns before her.

Lynette Bishop flinches, creating a shield as the chandelier falls, protecting herself. She's not quite sure what happened.

Before long, Bootler emerged from the door to approach the group, the doors suddenly slamming shut behind him. "My apologies for not delivering in person. I had to discuss something with the others. We generally like to have our guests play a game when they enter our home, but we have had..some troubles lately." Oboyo nodded, putting his tea back on the platter. "I'm sorry to hear that. What kind of troubles?"

"Well, you see.." started Bootler before getting cut off by Stretch's loud voice from above. "Hey, oldbag! Where's my nephew? He should have been begging at my feet the moment I entered!" Bootler adjusted his glasses a little. "I'm terribly sorry, sir. But you have no legs." In a bold display, Stretch reached out his hand and thwaps Bootler across the face. "Reeal funny, wise guy. What's goin' on here?"

Appearing shocked, Bootler removed his glasses and instantly grew three times Hastur's size, sticking his tongue out and shrieking loudly! Just as quickly, he faded out from sight. A second later, Bootler rose up from under the floor, picking up a cup of tea and pouring a little of it down his mouth and to the floor. "Well, you see..young master Casper.." began Bootler before he was cut off by a voice belonging to a female.

"Was captured." said the voice as another set of doors flew open, carrying a large, plush blue chair through it. A series of voices sung in unison around the blue chair, leading up to a crescendo and cutting off suddenly as a cyan boo with flowers on the sides of her forehead appeared upon it.

Roche was shocked by the sudden entrance of the chair so much so he almost had a misfire with Mary, he immediately put the gun away, nothing was more inhospitable than shooting holes in one's ceiling.

In poorly concealed surprise, a wide-eyed Twilight Sparkle almost drops her tea, reaching out despite herself to hug Lynette tightly with her forelegs before she realizes it. Eventually, though, she huffs to try and cover up her rapid heartbeat. "W-wah...!"

Returning the nervous hug as best she can while dismissing the shield, Lynette Bishop sighs, shivering as she notes the weirdness of things occuring. "I-is it always like this around here?"

Gizmo calmly sips her tea. These are ghosts, and the unexpected is to be expected. She's intrigued by the mention of a kidnapping "Captured? I have to wonder what sort of monster would kidnap an innocent ghost. Any ideas?"

Carmichael looked to the new boo he assumed that this was the Lady Bow that Jinsaka had spoken of earlier, he walked near the chair and bowed before the lady, he wanted to be as respectful as possible, "M'lady it is an honor for you to allow us to roam these halls, and might I say, you have quite the collection of arts here." he gestured to the walls lined with portraits.

Hastur quickly stood up straight as the female boo entered the room. He chuckles and walks over to Twilight, patting her head. He then turns to the cyan boo"Captured... any leads as to who would do such a thing, ma'am?"

Hastur moves a little closer to the chair, bowing his head. "Also, have there been any other capturings? Or was this an isolated incident? We want to know everything so we might be able to offer assistance with such a matter, m'lady."

Trixie turns her chair to face the other chair, her wine glass floating nearby as her crystals sink down to rest along her throat like a necklace "And, since we're 'notorious' seekers of ghosts, Trixie supposes in order for your 'humble houseguests' to earn your respect, the challenge will be a game of hide and seek, but not by the choosing of anyone inside the manor?" she keeps her eyes on the boo, taking a sip of her wine glass.

Mekis was still muddled by the liquid contents of his cup when the chair burst through the doors. Much like with the chandelier, Mekis was quick to his feet. Somehow, he managed to retrieve his weapon without spilling a drop from the cup. "Who art thou spirit? And what is it that you served me in this cup? I've never come across it before." Esteban could be seen napping upon the floor, dreaming of his home pond.

Helios flickers his lens as the chair came out. "More ghost shenenagins, we presume?" He began scanning the new boo that had arrived, filing the information away for later perusal.

"Captur-!?" started Stretch before he cut himself off and uncharacteristically bowed before the lady boo. "Pleased to see ya again, your scariness!" Stretch then turned and enlarged his head, glaring at the PDF members with glowing red eyes. "HEY FLESHIES! THAT'S LADY BOW! SHOW SOME -RESPECT-!"

"Relax, Stretch. Some things happened while you and your brothers have been gone. A brutish fellow showed up here with a most strange device, sucking up as many spirits as he saw. Naturally, we did everything in our power to stop him. And we nearly succeeded, were it not for a larger brute who busted in and took the device, leaving his accomplice behind."

Oboyo rubbed a finger along his goatee as he listened. Was he really doing the right thing all this time? Invading a spirit's peace simply because of what they are? "That's unfortunate..is the accomplice still here? And do you know where the other went?" Bow made a gesture with her stubby arm, causing Bootler to fade away. "We don't know where the other went. The accomplice, however, is a bit..eccentric." Bootler and three other boos then emerged from a door, carrying a short old human.

Carmichael noticed his bout of respect had gone unanswered, he decided that it was for the best as that was the limit as to what he knew of conversing with royalty. He made his way over to Anders and yanked him off the lever, which he had been playing with this entire time.

Hastur raised an eyebrow at Stretch. "Perhaps you should pay a little more attention, sir. I did show respect to the fair lady, as did Carmichael. Also, please stop the whole enlarged head and glowing red eyes thing. I'm sure it's making your fellow ghosts feel sorry for your inability to be intimidating." He then turned to Lady Bow and bowed low to her. "I'm sure we'll still be able to learn something from him, M'lady."

Roche looked to the lady, all this talk of vacuums sucking up ghosts sounded like some manner of spin-off video game in of some sort of platformer. Finished with his oolong Roche looked to the platter and placed his now empty cup on it, he leaned in to listen intently to the conversation of the Lady.

Lenai sets the tray of cookies behind her, and steps closer to the old man. "Haaaayyyyy boss, mind if I interrogate him, nya?" she asks, looking back at you, "Whatever he knows I'll definitely get out of him!" She turns back to look at the short old man, extending the claws on her hand, which she licks, each individually.

Gizmo looks over the human for a little while before asking "Why are you here?"

"Oh, for the love of..." As she's given a friendly pat by Hastur, Twilight Sparkle turns to Lynette, smiling lopsidedly at her friend and nodding before releasing the sniper to set her cup down. "Sadly, it is, Lynne. And honestly, I stare down a ghost that shot fireballs without much thought, but a floating CHAIR scares me? Really not the best time to start acting like Fluttershy..."

Shaking her head the catgirl takes her own cup of tea, finally. "It's okay, I just meant if the chandelier, the floating chair and the awkward conversations were normal." Lynette Bishop asks nervously.

Mekis was appalled at the lack of an answer. He was being ignored. He was about to shout again when Esteban bit at his foot. "Ow! What is it now?" Esteban looked at Mekis, shaking his head left to right. "Oh fine. But I will find out what this is." Mekis sat and looked forward, seeing Lenai's actions. He found them rather intriguing, to say the least.

"A device to suck up spirits... Interesting..." Helios began pondering the similarities to the traps that Egon used. "Something like that could be useful against hostile spirits. We will make a note to research that."

Taking another sip from her glass, Trixie sets it aside and steps down from her chair to make her way up toward the scientist, ignoring stretch entirely "Trixie believes it would be more prudent to simply ask him, rather than roughing him up. So, why don't you tell Trixie," she raises a hoof to ber chest "where your friend took the ghosts, especially the friendly young Caspar, so Trixie's friends," she nods back at the group "aren't required to do anything.... rash."

Taking another sip from her glass, Trixie sets it aside and steps down from her chair to make her way up toward the scientist, ignoring stretch entirely "Trixie believes it would be more prudent to simply ask him, rather than roughing him up. So, why don't you tell Trixie," she raises a hoof to ber chest "where your friend took the ghosts, especially the friendly young Caspar, so Trixie's friends," she nods back at the group "aren't required to do anything.... rash."

"What?! Why I oughtta--" started Stretch before Bow snapped a finger, sending the ghost immediately to a bowing position. "Oh, be silent, Stretch. Your manners are all flattering, but they are not necessary. I have been unable to get any worthwhile information out of this one. If you think you will have better luck, I would appreciate it."

Oboyo nodded, glancing first towards the man then towards the others before stopping at Lenai. "Well, interrogation's never been my strong point. You guys are free to try, as long as you don't hurt him." The man smiled widely as he saw non-spirits, a single tooth sticking out of his grin. "Oooo tch, gabble gabble!" he said calmly in response to Gizmo's question. He then nodded towards Trixie and politely acqueised her request. "Tch snick gobble!"

Lenai leans in closely, staring into the giant glasses on the man's head. "Nya, excuse me sir, did you make that thingy they talked about earlier?" she asks, smiling, "Are you an inventor? I like inventors!" She holds out her hand with a smile, saying, "I'm Lenai, an adorable robot! Do try and say your name, slowly."

"Oh, those? Not to my knowledge, at least yet. The awkward conversations, maybe." Shrugging her forelegs, Twilight Sparkle absently leans against her friend and fellow sniper, wings twitching as she watches the old man intently.

The Brittanian catgirl leans back, sighing. "I see." Lynette Bishop headtilts at the old man, not understanding a word.

Gizmo ponders this, and ponders it some more "I... can't understand a word he's saying. Not at all. This is both infuriating and astounding. Sadly, I get the feeling violence isn't going to help matters, so we'll need another approach."

Trixie tilts her head and blinks at the scientist "Hmm, perhaps you could write that for us? I mean, Trixie would appreciate directions in a more map-like setting. It would be most helpful."

Hastur smirks at Stretch, then smiles at Lady Bow. "Manners are never truly necessary, M'lady. However, they do make conversation more civil, which I prefer." He then turned back to the human, nodding at Trixie's suggestion. "That would work better, I think. Good idea, Trixie."

Carmichael looked over to the man, and the man who was shouting prose at him, Carmichael didn't understand their methods, deciding to input his thoughts on the manner he walked over to Helios, "Couldn't you perform some manner of scan on his cerebral cortex to yield the information we need?" Meanwhile Anders stood before the Old man staring him down as though they were on even level.

Mekis decided to find out what they were doing. Climbing down from his seat, Mekis walked over to Oboyo, asking in a straightforward manner, "What's going on? Also, what is this liquid?" He held up the small cup of now cold tea.

"Well, it loks like he can't talk clearly." Helios looks around at the others, considering. "How do you all feel about bribery?"

"Whatever suits you." said Bow towards Hastur before listening to Trixie's idea. "Hmm..we had not considered that before. Bootler! Fetch a pen and paper from the study!" The butler nodded dutifully as he disappeared into thin air. "At once, my lady!" Meanwhile, the man offers no resistance to the interrogation as he casually introduces himself to Lenai. "Snick tch gobble!" Afterwards, he takes a seat on the floor to enjoy Roche's sermon, wondering why no one else was as engaged in it.

Oboyo scratched his head, "And just what would you bribe him with?" he asked Helios before turning towards Mekis. "Well..it's tea, though I'm unaware of what kind. Did you not like it?" he asked with a slight smirk, not that he liked it either.

Bootler then busted through a set of double doors, causing a loud slam to echo through the room as tried to hand the paper and pen to Trixie, realizing she had no hands a second too late. He stared at the paper dumbfoundedly for a second before placing them on the ground.

"What's he saying...? It all sounds like nonsense to me." In a mirror of Lynette's reaction, as she discreetly hugs the other sniper with one foreleg, Twilight Sparkle tilts her head, raising one eyebrow at the indecipherable speech from the oddly bespectacled old man sitting in front of them. "And I don't think using any of my magic would help, if I was still able to use it..."

Hastur smiles and nods at Lady Bow, then turns to the old man, speaking calmly. "Okay. Can you please write down some general information? Who you are, why you captured these spirits, where your accomplice went, who they are, that sort of thing?"

Purring softly, Lynette Bishop watches, feeling a bit out of place in negotiations or interrogation, and she's not even sure which it is at this point.

Trixie simply levitates the pen and paper over to the nutty professor, settling the paper to the floor in front of him as the pen rests across it "If you would, please. Trixie is willing to bet we can get you off somewhere comfortable soon enough." she smiles at him again, playing up the role of the strong but kind type.

Lenai takes a moment to sit in front of the short old man, tapping her chin. "I'll just call you Gobble," she says, nodding, "You must tell us who did it, though. We're trying to save things, and not telling us would mean there would be no saving!" She frowns faintly, pouting, giving the professor her begging kitty-cat eyes.

"Hmm?" Helios looked over at Carmichael. "What scanning? Do we look like an MRI to you? We can't scan brainwaves, that would take better sensors than we can make." He shakes his core and turns to Oboyo. "We meant bibe him for information, but the others seem to have it under control." He seems to shrug.

Roche continued to preach , although at this point it seemed to be for the sake of hearing himself talk, he went on and on of judgment day or other such nonsense.

Mekis raised an eyebrow at this new word. "Tea? Never heard of it. And now I'm tired of trying to find out anymore." He placed the cup on the floor, deciding to join the others. Upon hearing the man speak, Mekis thought 'Is he possessed?' He shrugged, unsure of what to do. So he rocked on his heels, waiting for something more intrigue to happen. Like a sudden attack, or something.

Taking the pen in hand, the man began to write some words on the paper. His handwriting appeared oddly large and scribbled. After finishing the note, he slid the paper to Lenai, more interested in hearing Roche's sermon. Oboyo crossed his arms, attempting to tune the preaching out. "What's the verict?"

With one ear trained on the old man, Twilight Sparkle rises to her hooves and moves over to the other side of the room, turning towards Lynette and calling her over with one forehoof to talk to her friend quietly.

Lynette Bishop headtilts, then heads over, wanting to know what her friend is trying to share with her.

Lenai hums a bit as she reads the letter, nodding and mumbling. "I was right! He loves tea!" she shouts, before shaking her head quickly, "No, wait, he is Professor E. Gadd, and he did build that vacuum. He brought it here to test it, and then was ambushed by some kinda monster under Luon Highway! It eats ghosts!" She hops up quickly, stuffing the paper in her shirt, running for the door, shouting "IT'S GOING TO EAT THE GHOSTS INSIDE THE VACUUM!"

Roche looked down to the old man who he realized was listening with intent, Roche learned something important this day, not everyone hated hearing him preach, with this newfound resolve he would most likely increase his preaching back at the manor by 10-fold. Roche looked to Lenai who apparently had the information that the group seemed to seek, he reluctantly stopped, due to the fact that his torture was ineffective.

Hastur blinks, then turns to Lady Bow. "If what she says is correct, we must be off. Thank you for your hospitality."

Mekis was caught slightly offguard by Lenai's outburst, soon running after her. If she were to headed into the way of danger, Mekis would be nearby to protect her. "Esteban! Follow!" Esteban awoke, quickly waddling after them.

Carmichael heard Luon highway, he used to frequent that area at times, but the underside was a mystery to him in and of itself, he figured the area was in need for some recon prior to a rescue attempt. He called Anders to his shoulder, with Anders safely rooted on his shoulders, walked to Jinsaka, "Me and Anders here are gonna run some recon on the Luon highway. Dent worry we won't initiate combat if we see the creature." Carmichael walked into one of the many shadows that littered the room, he did not exit.

After hearing Lenai's words, Bow fiercely rose up from her chair. "Bootler, we're going to the Luon Highway. Gather everyone at once. Stretch! If you're still one of us, so help me--" Before either could continue, Oboyo spoke up. "Hold up. If I may..we don't know much about this monster yet, other than that it eats ghosts and has a device that can trap them. So running off right now will only put yourselves in danger."

Oboyo then turned towards the PDF members who were still around. He nodded at Carmichael and glanced at Helios, whispering "Have the M85 stop her and Mekis." He then returned his gaze to the two boos.

"My friends and I came here in the first place to request your aid, so allow us to first give you ours. The Luon Highway is enormous, far too wide to go searching tonight. I suggest we wait until daylight before investigating. We'll return to our manor in the meantime and get our other friends to help." Bow gave Oboyo a glare before sighing. "You have one day. The next time the sun sets, the dwellers of the highway will see what a boo is truly capable of."
With that, Bow gave a polite bow towards Hastur and the others before disappearing with Bootler to update the remaining boos. Oboyo began to head to the door while turning back towards everyone else. "Twilight, can you head to Viorar? Find Egon and Moit, get them to get Moit's friends to help. Hastur, help me get supplies loaded back at the manor. I could use your help on something there too, Helios. Everyone else, we meet back at the manor before dawn." With that, he headed out the door.

Roche headed back to the Gitmidur waving goodbye to his newest disciple, before exiting the mansion.

Hastur nods. "Sure thing, Boss." He walks over to Twilight and gives her a hug. "Stay safe, alright?" He gives her a parting smile and heads out the door.

"Got it." Helios nods, radioing the M85 and ordering it to grab Lenai as she runs past. He hovers over to the window just in time to see the slightly dirt-encrusted mechon preform a flying tackle and grab the fleeing reploid. "Well, there we go. Oh, don't forget about Mekis." The M85 nodded and put it's leg down in front of the Moogle and his mallard.

Gizmo gives Oboyo a salute "Got it. I'll see you there. It'll be fun to beat something up."

"What's on your mind, Lynne, and how are you feeling right now...?" Curiously, but with her expression remaining calm, Twilight Sparkle gives her friend another hug with both forelegs, before pulling back to smile warmly at Lynette as her wings unfurl for the long trip back to the manor, though she stops to listen to your request. "If you're feeling up to it, could you fly there with me? I could use some company. And you've got it, you."

Lynette Bishop sighs. "I'm a soldier, and I really haven't ever learned about things other than maintaining my equipment and flying combat missions. I'm a little out of place in a negotiation meeting. I kinda want to learn other skills so I'm not so specialized." The Brittanian catgirl sighs, returning the hug. "And I'd be glad to join you. I half feel more at home in the skies sometime. Especially now that you can join me there."

"I, uh... Kind of wanted to step out, anyways, and just try to enjoy the rest of the night without getting broken bones or anything of that sort..." Smiling sheepishly, Twilight Sparkle rises onto her hind legs to give Lynette a gentle and reassuring hug.

Hastur smiles at Twilight, then kneels down to her level. "I hope you are able to enjoy the rest of the night, shinainaru tomo."

Lynette Bishop returns the hug. "Same, though I have to ask, is it comfortable for you to be on your hind legs?" She headtilts, purring at the contact.

With a shrug, and a faint twitching of her wings, Twilight Sparkle steps back before turning to take flight again and return to the manor for rest and a quiet night with her teammate. "It might not seem like it, but it kind of is, actually. Fly back with me, Lynne?"
