The manor seemed particularly active for the afternoon, a number of attendants traveled about mentioning another job for the Paranormal Deliverance Force and asking for members to head to the meeting room.

Helios hovers into the meeting room and takes up a place near the front of the table. "So, what are we doing today?"

Wandering about before she's called, Lynette Bishop is surprisingly one of the first to enter the meeting room. She looks around trying to see if there's anyone she knows.

Mekis walked into the mansion, Esteban by his side as per usual. When an attendant came to assist, apparently remembering the boisterous warrior, Mekis raised a hand, stating "Thank you, but I remember the way." He entered the meeting room, awaiting information on the next venture.

Hastur walks calmly into the meeting room, sitting in a chair near the middle of the table. He puts a large tome onto the table and keeps his hand on the front cover. "I hope we go adventuring. Want to put new skills to the test." He smiles cheerfully, sitting back in the chair.

Fashionably late, Trixie stops at the door to look around at the participants before making her way towards the corner "Hmmpf, Trixie will be over here."

Oboyo nodded as the room began to fill up with the various members of the Paranormal Delivarance Force. Other faces included Egon, Launchpad, and Servbot #1337, the latter attempting to unfold a metal chair but with no degree of success.
"Thanks for coming, everyone. Word of our success in Sei Tomb last week has begun to spread, and now we've been hired by someone in Guardia to investigate some kind of..door, if you can believe it. Any of you familiar with Cosmo Canyon?" asked Oboyo.

Hastur raises his hand, keeping the other on the tome. "I've been there. Haven't done too much exploring, but i know the way to get there."

Mekis wasn't familiar with the area, but that didn't bother him. "I have not, but that does not worry me. So long as there is some sort of reward to be had. Our last battle was a bit...lacking in any sort of good loot."

Helios nods. "Yes, we live fairly close to there. It is just a short trip north for the us and the M85."

Headtilting, Lynette Bishop shakes her head. "I am not familiar, sorry."

Trixie yawns somewhat as she covers her mouth with a hoof "Well, Trixie has certainly never been there. Is it a large city?"

"It's..well..a canyon. There's not much there. It's just north of Truce."
Oboyo nodded. "This time, we'll be traveling with Launchpad in the Gitmidur..provided he doesn't crash and kill us all along the way." Launchpad seemed humbled by the comment and felt the need to it point out. "Aww, don't worry! I'm good at crashing! We'll be just fine, hehe."
Oboyo rubbed his palm down his face as he tried to ignore Launchpad's interjection, hoping no one would be scared off. "Things got a little dangerous last time, so this time we're bringing Egon with us. Does anyone else want to volunteer to come along?" Egon nodded, apparently having been briefed already. He gripped his proton gun firmly.

Hastur stands up, a smile on his face. "I'll come along. I've been itching to go on my first advernture as part of this outfit." He then turns to Trixie. "Will you come along as well, Miss Trixie? We might be in need of great and powerful magic."

Trixie's eye twitched at the mention of her magic being needed, but she stood and made her way towards the front nonetheless, her horn prominany showing on her forehead without a hat to cover it "Well, you would all probably be hopelessly lost without Trixie's help. Agreed."

"I shall join you. And there better be more in the way of shiny things to be had." Mekis jumped down from his chair, walking to the door with a confident stride. Esteban did his best to imitate, ending up only waddling in the same manner.

"Well, it's good to know that we are getting more well-known. We will be coming along, of course." Helios hovers over to Egon. "How has the proton gun been working? The drone worked to your standards, we trust."

Oboyo looked at Launchpad and flicked his head to the side saying "Go prep the Gitmidur." He then turned towards Hastur, Helios, Mekis, and Trixie and nodded. "Alright then. Meet me out in the rear courtyard in ten minutes. There's no telling what we'll find, so bring whatever you feel like you'll need." Oboyo then concluded the meeting, finalizing some discussions with various attendants before heading out to the courtyard himself.
Egon shook his head towards Helios as he headed towards the courtyard. "The drone did a fine job, but I'm still running tests. I had to put the project aside to prepare more trackers. The Chief's been paranoid about having us checking around Guardia and Fa'Diel lately."

"If you want, we can set up a small assembly line for those and take some of that extra work off of your shoulders. How does that sound?" Helios looks at Egon expectantly.

Hastur picks up his tome and shoves it in his pack, then closes the pack, slings it over his shoulder, and heads on out to the courtyard, smiling.

"Trixie doesn't remember if you mentioned, giant... but what did you say your name was?" she ruffles her cloak some and follows Hastur out back towards the courtyard.

Mekis exited to the courtyard, wanting to kill things. Esteban followed, hoping this trip would have a nice treat like the last time.

Hastur smiles warmly at Trixie. "Hastur Xel'lotath. At your service, Miss Trixie." He continues out to the courtyard, stretching as he does.

Launchpad gave a thumbs up as he strapped on his goggles and flipped an assortment of switches in the cockpit, indicating he was ready to take off. Oboyo hopped on the helicopter and gave Launchpad the signal to leave once everyone else was on board.
On the way, Egon shook his head towards Helios. "I appreciate the help, and don't take this wrong way..but those guns are dangerous. I might have given you the wrong idea when I mentioned 'mass producing' them. I only want a handful of them, and I'd like to keep them personally supervised." Egon then glared icily towards Oboyo. "Regardless of how the Chief feels."

Meanwhile, closer to Truce, and Cosmo Canyon... There's the squealing of tires as a seemingly-driverless Peterbilt semi speeds through the canyons, intent on reaching its' destination as quickly as possible. There's, however, the words 'Optimus Prime' carved into one side rearview mirror.

"Guns are... Oh, you misunderstand us. We meant making those trackers that you mentioned." Helios leans in closer as the two walk out into the launchpad. "Though, it would be nice if you were able to loan us a schematic of one of the guns so we could add in another firing mode for the M85's cannon." Said mechon was attaching it's jet booster with the help of one of the attandants while it waited for Helios.

The flight was a bit nerve racking for the moogle warrior. The only time Mekis ever felt comfortable airborne was whilst astride Esteban. The helicopter seemed like an evil thing. Still, he didn't have much choice. Hopefully he wouldn't have to deal with such things too frequently.

Trixie stopped in her tracks to blink at the giant a moment before continuing after him "Terribly sorry, but did Trixie hear you say your last name is Xel'...lorxthath?" she tried to twist her tongue around the last bit as she approached the helicopter, mangling it horribly in the process. She climbed aboard the helicopter and hopped into the seat.

Hastur chuckles to himself, climbing aboard the helicopter and taking a seat next to Trixie. "Xel'lotath. Xel...lo...tath. It's hard to say, but it gets easier as you practice saying it." He smiles at Trixie, then pulls the tome out of his bag and begins to study it, occasionally flipping back and forth between pages.

Oboyo shrugged. "I just can't imagine this 'end of the world' scenario that you insist will happen if those beams are crossed." Egon rolled his eyes, catching Helios' elaboration. "Oh..my apologies. Yes, I suppose that would be helpful, if you don't mind allocating time and resources towards it."
Oboyo seemed to want to say something, but didn't. Egon caught his drift, but the statement was already said. As Cosmo Canyon came into view, Launchpad began to set the Gitmidur down on a conveniently flat stone surface, one that was apparently often used for gatherings around a bonfire. Oboyo and Egon hopped off and waited for everyone else to get their thoughts together.

Trixie didn't find much time over the trip for talking, and in fact decided to drown out the noise of the helicopter with her cloak. Stepping lightly out of the machine after it landed, seeming unphased, mumbling to herself a little 'Anything but wheels...'

As the disguised Optimus Prime approaches, his altmode's horn blares loudly, filling the canyon walls with a piercing echo, followed by the scraping of metal shifting as he arrives with a sharp swerve and a transformation.

Hastur closes his book and gets up from his seat. He slowly made his way off of the helicopter, then turned, surprised by the sound of the horns.

Mekis was glad to be out of the flying...thing. The solid ground comforted his mind. Esteban gently floated down to the ground, unphased by the helicopter. Mekis jumped at the blaring horn, retrieving his bow and an arrow. Watching the machine turn humanoid was not a pleasant sight. Raising a prepared arrow, he shouted "What are you monster? Speak now, lest I let this arrow fly."

Trixie gave a shriek at the sight of the wheeled contraption heading towards her, dashing off behind the helicopter, drawing things out of her cloak when she gets there.

It didn't take long for a man to approach the group, nodding towards Optimus as well. "Good, you're all here. Come with me, I'll take you to the chief. He's before the door right now." Oboyo glanced once at the enormous robot before looking back at the man, following him to their destination.
"Who's the big guy? Did the Chief hire him as well?" asked Oboyo. The man nodded, "Yes. The Chief doubted your combat capabilities and sent for one guranteed to be capable. Please take no offense to that. Feel free to introduce yourselves after the Chief fills you in." The man then nodded towards Optimus as if trading a hidden communication that they already knew about.

Out of reflex, as he's threatened by an arrow from Mekis, the transformed Peterbilt semi raises one giant metal hand placatingly, looking down and focusing on the group in front of him via his optics. "Easy... I mean no harm. My name is Optimus Prime, and I'm the leader of the Autobots, from Cybertron. My mission here, it seems, is no different from yours. Perhaps we should prioritize, however."
Without much of a pause, Optimus Prime turns to the cliffs surrounding the group, raising his hands and driving them into the rocks as he begins to climb up towards the top. He makes sure to wait for the M85, however. "We're taking a different route. Up, after me."

"Well, we shouldn't keep this 'chief' waiting." Helios hovers after the man, leaving the M85 to follow him. The mechon pauses and looks Optimus over, noting the seeming lack of combat options. It shrugs at that and follows Optimus' lead.

Trixie peeked her head around the helicopter as her equipment began to re-store itself into the folds of her cloak "We have to deal with that... that... -thing-!?"
Trixie's eye twitched again as she let out a small grumble, but she followed the rest of the group, muttering to herself again 'The Great and Powerful Trixie doesn't trust wheels...'

Hastur chuckles and nods at Optimus. "Agreed, Mister Prime. Let's focus on the task at hand." he turns to Trixie and gives a reassuring smile. "Miss Trixie, worry not. I'm sure your magic will take care of anything that comes our way, Mister Prime included. Also, I shall insure that you are safe." He turns and begins to follow Optimus, climbing quickly after him.

Mekis was hesitant to lowerhis weapon, but slowly, he eased himself. "Alright then, I'll yield. You hold a point. But I'm going to keep an eye on you...Optimus? What a strange name!" Mekis turned to the wall and began scaling upward. Meanwhile, Esteban flew nonchalantly to the top of the cliff face.

Once everyone arrived, the group could see an enormous ghostly door situated on an open platform towards the top of Cosmo Canyon. Next to the door stood a human holding a large spear and four legged creature with red fur wearing a headband made of feathers. (Oboyo)
Oboyo approached the human and bowed his head respectfully. "You must be the Chief. I'm Oboyo Jinsaka, head of the Paranormal Deliverance Force. This is erm..quite a door here. I assume it's not natural?" The man holding the spear simply grunted. Oboyo gave him a confused look as the red creature spoke up. "..I'm the one who asked for you, actually. I am Chief Nanaki." Oboyo winced while Egon could be seen slapping his hand to his face.
Nanaki shook his head. "Don't let it bother you, it happens quite often. And it's good to see you again, Optimus. I would not call you all out here were the situation not severe. Take a close look at it." Nanaki then flicked his head towards the large door. It seemed to be cracked slightly open. (Oboyo)

"Well, what's so different about an open door?" Helios hovered closer to it and activated his scan.

"As it is to see you, old friend." Once he arrives at the top of the cliffs, Optimus Prime trains the headlights built into his chest-armor on the door, studying it intently before turning to Nanaki.

Hastur looks at the door with curiosity, opening his tome and flipping through it, looking for similar markings or anything to relate it to his knowledge of magic. "Was this always here, or did it appear recently?"

"Nanaki? Optimus? Oboyo? What strange names everywhere." Mekis shrugged, slightly befuddled at the thought. Then Mekis turned to the door. "Ooh! Big door. Lets go in." He walked to the mildly ajar door, fully intending on entering with no forethought. Such strange and scary places guaranteed good loot.

Trixie regarded the door curiously, stepping towards it as the tip of her horn began to glow white, the rest of her horn turning a shade of magenta. She stopped short though as the moogle interposed himself, levitating a bead out from her cloak, she bounced it off the back of Mekis' head "Don't do anything dumb. Everyone came here as a group for a reason."

Nanaki looked towards Hastur. "It appeared only recently and only a small handful of spirits have escaped from it. I fear that many more exist on the other side, but haven't entered myself yet." Nanaki then muttered something to the spear wielding human, who handed an enormous pile of rope to Oboyo.
"Should you get lost, this will guide you back. Best of luck to you, Mr. Jinsaka. And you, old friend." said Nanaki, giving a nod towards Oboyo and Optimus. Oboyo groaned and headed towards the door, finding a rocky pillar to tie one end of the rope to. "Trixie, would you mind holding the rope as we progress? Your magic is pretty convenient. And..do any of you have any thoughts before we go in?"
Egon wasn't quick to comment. "Nothing much to say other than to get in and get it done, is there? This is why we're here, after all. Still, it is unnerving to think about entering a ghost's lair. Usually they're the ones who enter ours." (Oboyo)

With a nod to Nanaki, Optimus Prime readies one of the Energon blades concealed in his arms, at the same time he pulls an Energon rifle off his back with his free hand as he heads for the door. "Easy, both of you. Save that energy for what we're no doubt going to face on the other side of this door, and be ready for anything."

THWAP! "Ow! Who did that?" Upon hearing the small horse speak, he could only guess it was her. Mekis pointed, stating "Do you question my abilities, equian one? If so, I assure you I would have been fine. Also, if you're going to hit me, don't use what I assume are magics. It's cowardly."

Hastur ponders for a moment, keeping his book open. "I believe we should expect the absolute worst, that way we might be plesantly surprised by something not so horrible." He closes his tome and stows it in his backpack, stretching and cracking his knuckles, ready to fight whatever is in the doorway.

Trixie levitated the end of the rope over as she moved closer towards the door, glancing at Mekis with a tilt of her head "Oh? You would prefer if Trixie -kicked- you in the head instead? ... Trixie is certain that would make a much better impression".

Helios sighs at the group's antics and hovers over to the door. "Come on, M85. We have some spirits to swat." He pushes the doorway all the way open and hovers through, followed by the M85.

Oboyo shrugged and entered the door, choosing the tactical option of allowing the giant metal robots to proceed first. The group would see nothing but darkness, despite their usage of lights. Eventually, they would even notice themselves falling one by one, despite flying capabilities, further into the darkness until landing in an enormous metal chamber.
Oboyo muttered as he stood up and looked around. "Is everyone alright?" he asked as Egon held his tracker out and rose his voice. "Chief!" said the scientist as three strange creatures appeared seemingly from no where to confront them. One was was red with buck teeth, one was yellow with a closed mouth, and one was blue with two teeth on the center of its mouth. Each were round in shape and about the size of a man.
"I don't know why they didn't show up before, but they're on the tracker now. They're ghosts!" shouted Egon as he put the tracker away and aimed his proton gun towards the yellow one, holding it in place with a stream of protons. Oboyo nodded and held his left hand out as the rune began to glow brightly, firing off a couple of blasts towards the spirits to make them tangible.

Hastur grins and charges forward, his left hand glowing with his own rune. He slammed into the blue one, sending it sprawling. He followed up by swinging his heel in an axe-like motion, bringing it down onto the blue creature. He then began to mercilessly pummel the creature with his fists, his hands an absolute blur.

"ALRIGHT, finally some action. M85, hit it!" The M85 activated it's cannon, charging up an ether bomb while the buzz saw spun up to the proper speed. Helios shot a laser while the M85 charged the yellow ghost, firing off the ether bomb in the process.

Despite having fallen straight down, Optimus Prime doesn't seem to be fazed much by the surprise or the shock from landing on metal feet-first, as he's almost immediately bringing his Energon rifle to bear and opening fire on the yellow ghost.

"Yes, yes I would, you ridiculous miniature horse!" Mekis readied an arrow as he entered the enclosed space. "Come Esteban, there are beasts to slay and (hopefully) loot to pillage!" After that, they fell. Upon seeing the ghosts, Mekis launched an arrow at the red ghoul, quickly readying another shot.

Trixie managed to grab the rope at the last moment as she began to fall, hanging off the wall by her teeth, she watches as a few random objects fall out of her cloak to the floor... a couple feet away, grumbling as she released it to drop the rest of the distance. As she turned, slipping her items back into her cloak, she noticed that battle had already began "Oh just great, all the fun has started -without- Trixie..." she walked up towards the yellow one, drawing out multiple glass bottles
Trixie launches one of the smaller bottles at the yellow one, followed by a flaming sphere, the two striking one after the other to cause a brilliant white flash and an orange explosion.

The blue ghost seemed unphased by Hastur's attack, as well as the yellow ghost from the M85 and Optimus' attacks, AS WELL as the red ghost from Mekis' attack. But as soon as Trixie's explosion landed, the yellow ghost made a strange sound and disappeared. (Oboyo)
"Well we're off to a great start.." muttered Oboyo as he reached into his jacket and wielded his custom staff, snapping it into place. "Be careful! Something's..different here." pointed out Oboyo. The red ghost cackles gleefully as it charges towards Mekis while the blue one charges towards Trixie, narrowly avoiding Egon's proton stream.

Hastur quickly steps in front of Trixie, his tome out and open. He begins chanting, his eyes pitch black. "Bankorok, Pargon, Santak, Pargon, Pargon, Xel'lotath, Pargon!" A large green magic shield wall erupts from Hastur, surrounding himself and Trixie.

"What, how... M85, pull back. This requires some more strategy than we had predicted." The large Mechon steps back and looks around the area warily, resetting it's cannon to standard green energy beams. It takes a potshot at the red ghost while helios resorts to scanning its reaction.

Trixie yelled as the ghost came after her and began raising spikes of ice from below her violet cloak to fling at the ghost, "Gah! Stah back! The Great and Powerful Trixie orders you to stay back!" two icicles already in flight by the time the shield errects between her and the ghost, the third frozen projectile exploding into a shower of multi-hued sparks shortly after striking.

The red ghost was unaffected by Mekis' attack and the M85's potshots, but the blue ghost was vaporized by Trixie's ice attack. At the same time, a green and a white ghost appeared from no where. The green one started to chase Helios around while the white one assisted the red in tormenting the moogle. Oboyo stood back and watched the battle unfold, trying to unravel the mystery behind their opponents while sending blasts towards the new ghosts to turn them tangible.

Hastur flips to a separate page and quickly chants. Antorbok, Magormor, Chattur'gha!" His fists begin to glow red, and he charges from the shield to the red spirit and begins to strike at it, swinging with a wide backhand and two jabs. "Try attacking them with somerthing that matches their color!"

With one of his Energon blades already drawn, Optimus Prime draws the second from his other arm, taking aim at the white phantasm as he starts slashing away in a manner reminiscent of capoeira. "It's a calculated risk... I need to be careful..."

Trixie blinks at Hastur's plan, shaking her mane out and charging ahead through the shield as her horn glows magenta again, not bothering to disguise it as she launches four small icicles at the green ghost, the sparking fuse of a firework imbedded in each "Is that all the challenge you can muster for The Great and Powerful Trixie?"

"Same color?" Mekis thought it a bit silly, but it may work. Upon seeing the white ghoul, a thought occurred. "Esteban, attack!" The mallard, who had been sitting about, sprung into action, struck at the beast, ivory feathers flying everywhere. Mekis gathered several, then jumped toward the thing, attempting to jab it with said feathers.

The red ghost is vaporized by Hastur's attack as well as the white one by Optimus and the heroic Esteban. Before the green one could inflict any damage on Helios, it was destroyed as well. Trixie's display was marvelous, though a bit late.
But before the group could claim victory, an enormous multicolored ghost emerged from the side of the chamber roaring loudly. Instinctively, Oboyo fired a blast from the Spirit Rune towards it, turning it tangible. "Seems you were right. But what about this one?" asked Oboyo, reaching for his handgun while yelling towards Egon. "Egon! Stop that thing!"
Egon focused his proton stream on the ghost, but its effect was not strong enough to stun it. The ghost charged towards Optimus and attempted to tackle him.

Trixie launched an icicle containing a firework and swore "Ah Manure! Trixie was certain she had more than this!!!" she drops her cloak as it unclasps, beginning to nose and dig through her cloak.

Considering his size, Optimus Prime stops his capoeira-style attack, storing both of the Energon blades and bracing himself for the multi-hued phantasm rush-tackling him. "Get ready...! I'll keep this one occupied!"

Hastur flips through his tome again. "Everyone, focus fire on that thing, as money colors as you can, all at once!" He chants. Antorbok, Redgormor, Chattur'gha! Antorbok, Redgormor, Ulyaoth! Antorbok, Redgormor, Xel'lotath!" Severl bolts of green, red, and blue light streak towards the spirit.

The M85 fires off more energy beams at the back of the ghost as it grapples with Optimus. Helios contributes by shooting off another laser at it.

"Good work Esteban. When we get home you're getting a treat." The roar was not a good sign. Seeing the size, Mekis knew what to do. Quickly jumping atop Esteban, he shouts "Esteban, airborne!" After a running start, Esteban took off. Whilst in the air, Mekis took a few spare feathers and tied them to a couple arrows with a bit of string. He then fired the few arrows, before attempting to tie a few more. It wasn't easy, that was certain.

"Forget the colors, there's too many! Egon, you brought traps right?" shouted Oboyo, putting his handgun away. "Just one..but I can't get close enough!" replied Egon, attempting to keep his proton stream focused on the ghost without hitting Optimus.

Oboyo then ran towards Egon and grabbed the trap from his utility belt, glancing towards the others. Seeing the brave moogle warrior airborne, Oboyo shouted "Mekis! Catch!" before throwing the trap towards him. Egon seemed frustrated at Oboyo's consistant lack of caution when using his equipment. "You're small enough, get under the ghost and step on that switch! Helios, get the M85 to help Optimus hold it!"

Helios nods. "You heard the man, grab it!" The M85's buzz saw shut off, returning it to its regular pincer state. It lunged at the ghost, grabbing it in the pincer and keeping it mostly still.

Despite the ghost struggling to get him down, Optimus Prime doesn't let go, silently nodding to the M85 as it comes in to help him, ignoring the damage to his body armor-panels.

Hastur flips to another page and chants. "Tier, Pargon, Aretak, Pargon, Pargon, Mantorok, Pargon!" A large, purple creature appears, not taking any definitive shape save for two large, muscular arms. They immediately grab onto the spirit and hold it in position. Hastur himself yells and charges towards the spirit, grabbing it and pinning it's foot to the ground to keep it from moving.

Trixie growled at her lack of preparation as she lifted multiple beads into a wall of colors, her horn began to glow a darker shade, the tip shining a faint white to split into many colors "Hey! Ugly! Look over here! Trixie has a distraction for ya!" her cloak rose into the air, surrounded by a magenta, glow to rest on her back as she strode toward the ghost.

Mekis heard the leader of the troupe and looked toward him. He saw him fling some sort of box while giving some instructions, odd as they were. "Esteban, dive left." They turned, and Mekis caught the box with some ease. "Alright, now under this large foe!" Esteban seemed hesitant, but he trusted his master and did as he asked. The mallard went low, going into a sprinting run, going under the thing. Mekis jumped and rolled forward. Gaining his footing, he threw down the box, pressing the pedal.

As the pedal was pressed, the trap opened and began to suck the large multicolored ghost into it. The creature roared loudly as it fought the suction to no avail, leaving behind a blue pill as it disappeared into the dark corners of the trap. The sides of the trap slammed shut, releasing a bit of steam as a light lit up on it. Egon powered down his gun and let out a breath of relief as he moved towards the short and fuzzy moogle. "Whew..well done, Mekis." he said simply, reaching for the trap. Oboyo released the shafts on his staff and returned it to his jacket, clapping his hands together. "Well done, indeed! To all of you! Haha, I didn't think that old piece of junk would work." Egon rolled his eyes as Oboyo continued on. "We should head on out of here. Still got that rope, Trixie?"

Hastur sighs and banishes the creature he summoned. "Whew.... Mister Prime, can you help me get back up to the world? I seem to... yep, there goes the feeling in my body." He falls backwards onto the ground, breathing heavily. "Too ..... many....spells..."

Helios is distracted by the pill that the ghost left behind, picking it up in a magnetic field and bringing it closer to study it. "What kind of ghost leaves behind a pill?"

Trixie nodded as her wall of beads disassembled, slipping back beneath her cloak as she pointed her horn towards where everyone fell in "It should be by the wall where we fell, Trixie left it there." only someone looking carefully would notice her nearing the stage of exhaustion herself.

Once the ghost disappears into the trap, Optimus Prime returns to his disguise as the Peterbilt semi cab from earlier, with numerous dings on his armor. He does, however, open one door to make getting in easier for Hastur. "I'll have to find another way out, since I can't carry you back up and climb to the top."

Mekis was glad to hear such a compliment. But what made him more glad was the loot. Though small, it was something. Then the hovering ball took it, which bothered him highly. "Esteban, fetch my loot!" Esteban quickly flew by, taking the pill with his bill. He flew back, placing it in Mekis' hand. "Good Esteban."

Hastur breathes heavily, barely able to move his hand to close his Tome. "Can someone.... put that... in my pack?"

The group then made its way back up and out of the door. As each member exitted, they would find that the door no longer exited yet a familiar face would continue to exit from where it was. Nanaki greeted each individual warmly with respect as they arrived.
"You still live! The door faded away and I feared the worst. Thank you, all of you, for purging the evil from our home. You have my undying gratitude, and I promise to spread your success here in your endeavors." Oboyo raised a hand to his goatee, curious at Nanaki's wording.
"That's a peculiar means of showing your gratitude..not that I'm asking for any reimbursement. How much have you heard about us?" Nanaki closed his eyes, remembering the tale told to him by a citizen visiting Truce the evening Ghost Nappa attacked. "While word of your eccentric group has begun to spread, not many believe in a future where phantoms herald in an age of suffering. I am in no position to aid you in this cause, however.."
Nanaki then turned towards the spear wielder from before. "Sutan. Go with Mr. Jinsaka and heed his orders. My grandfather foresaw an evening where one of us would leave the valley to do grand things. I believe you are the one he spoke of." The man seemed unphased, simply willing to do whatever he was told.
Nanaki then turned towards Optimus and smiled. "And there is one other..Optimus, old friend! What did you think of the Paranormal Deliverance Force?"

As he slows, then stops in front of Nanaki, Optimus Prime shifts into Park. "An impressive and well-organized group, with an exceptional leader."

"Well, that was amusing. It should be more easily handled once we are able to add in a third firing mode for your cannon, M85." Helios says as he exits the spot where the doorway was. The M85 steps out behind him and nods, brushing off the barrel of it's cannon.

Trixie nodded in defference to the feline/dog chief and stepped past the group to look out over the edge from the top of the canyon, staring down across the land to admire the scenary for the first time since arriving "So, this is what the place looks like... quaint." she didn't look for long, beginning down the path towards the helicopter far ahead of the others.

Hastur stumbles past the group and begins to slowly make his way down to the helicopter, looking like he is going through intense pain with every step.

While looking upon the spoil, Mekis began to wonder at the full meaning of the pill and what it could do. He considered who might know amongst the group. There were a few possibilities, but only one he mildy trusted. He walked up to you and asked, "Pardon, but do you know anything on this pill?" He held it out, though only far enough for him to see.

Oboyo scratched his head, he rarely took compliments well. "Thanks, big guy. That means a lot. We could use someone like you, if you're interested. But uh..you'll have to find your own way to my manor in Shrike. I don't think Launchpad would appreciate bringing you on board the Gitmidur." Oboyo then shook his head towards Mekis. "Not a clue. But you should keep it as a memoir of our victory here. Who knows, it just might even save someone's life someday."

"It's an honor to be part of the Paranormal Deliverance Force. And it is only fair that I return by land - I'm hardly the sort to fit on such a small aircraft. I shall see you there." After shifting back into Drive, Optimus Prime revs his diesel engine a few times, before spinning up dirt with his wheels and driving off, headlights piercing the night. "I should return to that manor, and 'rest' for the night..."

"Well, we will head home for now. Egon, just give those schematics to the repair drone in your workshop and we can set up an assembly line for the sensors." Helios perched himself on the M85's head before the duo took off and headed out into the canyons.

Mekis was a bit disappointed at the continued mystery, but liked the idea of keeping it. Perhaps he would learn the truth behind it at some point. Mekis got atop Esteban, riding off to find a place of rest nearby.
