Wandering the mansion corridors, long jacket trailing behind her, Deim seemed lost in her own mind, the slim war-droids attention solely on the small rectangular workpad in her hand. Fingers nimbly moving across its surface as she went over last nights data-files.

Trixie made her way down the corridors of the mansion, passing by the war droid with hardly a thought, her own mind was preoccupied with the halted leads and magical dead-ends that encompassed the search for Twilight. The pony looked like she hadn't slept at all the night before.

Tilting her head, Deim regarded the unfamiliar pony, jolted from her study of the data files."Hmm, another Equestrian...Scanning Bioform for sub-type.." Looking the pony over, there was evidence of a horn clear enough, though the cape prevented verification of the lack or presence of wings "Hmm, curious, are you perchance a...what was the term, ah yes, pegacorn miss?" The term came hesitantly, as it was a rather peculiar designation.

The unicorn stopped long enough to look Deim once up and down "If you mean, does Trixie have wings. No. Alicorn, pegacorn, whatever you want to call it. No." the mare wanted rest, and wasn't about to let small talk get between her and her bed. Trixie continued on down the hallway, her hooves barely clearing the floor.

Blinking, Deim considered, then nodded, turning to follow undeterred by a dismissal or lukewarm receptions. New data beckoned. "Ah, you are like ms Sparkle, Twi then, a Equastrus sub-type Unicorn." Tilting her head she continued "Psycho-kinetic manipulation, and visible Ether manifestation, correct?"

Grumbling at the comparison between herself and her rival, Trixie lowered her head and continued down the hall, her mind deciphering the technobabble after a moment "Trixie can lift things, yes, and a unicorn's horn glows when it happens. It is Trixie's sincerest hope theres a destination for this train of questioning."

Undeterred once more, Deim nodded her soft even voice quite pleasant "I have not seen ms Sparkle for some time now, I was merely curious and assumed if you were like her you might know. I have checked the library, and have not been able to find Ser Oboyo for his report on the trip to Caspia." This in itself was not unusual, reports were sparse and often late.

The mare sank to her knees with a groan, her bed seemed so far away now as she restiled her head, horn-down against the floor "Ooogh, not another one... Why does everyone feel the need to ask Trixie about Caspia." she sighed and flopped over onto her side, waving a hoof in surrender "Alright, what did you want to know about it? I suppose you'll need to hear about how Twilight disappeared then?"

Blinking, Deim paused, going over the information "Miss sparkle has disappeared? Ser Oboyo has sent her on another mission on her own then? A most unsound practice" Frowning slightly, the war-droid regarded the mare. "As I stated, I could not find ser Oboyo to ask him for his report, therefor you will have to suffice untill secondary sources can be acquired. Data is vital"

Propping herself up, Trixie gave a sigh "Of course it is. But I don't see why everyone has to ask Trixie for it." she shook her mane and grumbled "Jinsaka didn't send her on a mission. While we were on 'vacation', something odd happened. Someone tried to pull a hoax on the place we were staying to make them think it was haunted. Some white furred creature named Gizmo (hard to forget that name) solved it, but the owner gave Jinsaka the gem that the Kirby responsible had been after."

Delicately frowning, Deim waited for the mare to get to the details that mattered most. "Get to the point miss, what happened to ms Sparkle"A trace of iron entered the war-droids normally soft tones, hands unconsciously clenching and unclenching. Twilight had been one of her "protectees" as a Mansion resident, thus her defense protocols were coming online.

Trixie raised a hoof to wave off the war bot's rushed tone, catching a breather in the midst of her explanation "Yes yes, I'm getting to that. The sapphire crumbled in Jinsaka's hand and..." she sighed and covered her eyes as the words of the wind witch she saw at her show echoed in her head "There was nothing Trixie could do. It happened in the blink of an eye. One moment Twilight was there, an orb of light zipped across from the gem and hit her, and in the next moment she was gone..."

Giving a deep, troubled frown, Deim considered the new information, before responding "I see..It seems I will endeavour to find Ser Oboyo afterall.." Raising her hands, she cracked her knuckles, faint, ethereal green flames igniting, fanning around her form "He requested a test of my combat prowess, for his failure to protect a charge, I now feel strongly inclined to give him such.."Recalling herself from the troubled thoughs, she nodded to the mare "Thank you for telling me this miss, I wont trouble you any longer.." Working her shoulders, Deim strode off purposefully, the flames fanning up around her untill she was wreathed in a green flickering corona.

The mare raised her head "Everyone else is already.... aaand you're gone." she rested her head back down on the floor and sighed "The Great and Powerful Trixie... finds this.... oddly comfortable." Trixie pulled her cloak up around her and fell almost instantly asleep.

The morning sun covered the rear courtyard with its light as Oboyo stood before three gravestones, looking down at them. One read 'Master Rhakashka' , another read 'Sir Dusk of Elham', and lastly, 'Mason'. He gazed to the left of the two tombstones and wondered when he would need to add others. Elenor had insisted that he not worry of such things, a leader can't be expected to protect everyone. But Oboyo didn't agree. The people fighting with him were volunteers, friends. Not weapons.

Having tapped into the security feeds to find her elusive 'Boss', Deim strode around the mansion and into the courtyard. Not that she was very recognisable at first, flickering emerald flames wrapping around her, only twin golden glows of eyes and a darker shadow in the midst of the fire hinting at anything inside. Calming herself as she detected just what her boss was doing, she lowered the energy-output, retracting most of the corona leaving only a flickering outline. Calling out ahead, her voice colder, more emotionless then usual 'Ser Oboyo, you wished to Test me, now seems quite..fitting given recent news received.'

Oboyo rose his head and turned to glance at the voice calling his name. "Is that your way of blowing off steam?" asked the Spirit Rune bearer as he turned the rest of his body to face her. "I assume you're referring to Twilight."

Deim shook her head, a dry, emotionless humor in her words 'If I wished to merely release my energy, I would take up landscaping..' Taking up a firm stance, the war droid cross slender arms. 'This is in regards to your failure to protect a Charge given into your care. When you hired me as Security, all those whom entered this home, came under my Protection. Miss Sparkle was released to you, and you failed. Therefore as you wish to test me, I too must ascertain wether my decision to follow you, was correct.'

Seeing no way out of the sudden challenge, Oboyo rose his fists and bent his knees. "That's quite a spin on what I first had in mind." he stated as he turned his body to reduce the number of targets to strike at. "But no one could have prevented what happened, not even you. That experience made me realize just how important these decisions to stand with us need to be..something I wish to point out once everyone returns here."

Nodding decisively, Deim admitted 'You also need a better grasp of my capabilities ser Oboyo, I am a planetary defense Droid built for Combat, can you grasp the meaning of this..No matter, Bioforms I have concluded deal better when given a physical manifestation of Data, rather then merely being told the facts.' Tilting her head she scanned for the best approach before leaping forward, armored boots flaring behind her as she blurred. Reappearing crouched low, her slim leg span around in a low sweeping blow, trailing faint ethereal flames behind it.

"That's not really what a friendly spar is about!" exclaimed Oboyo as he felt his feet lose its weight beneath him, falling to the grass. "You're upset. I get that." he said as he rose to his feet. "But there's a whole lot of difference between respecting your arts in an honorable challenge and taking your frustration out on someone."
With that, Oboyo dropped his arms and his stance. "And I refuse to oblige you with this until you realize that. If you want so desperately to 'prove your capabilities' to me, then help me find her instead of blaming me for failing her. I know she would prefer that than to see us wasting time fighting each other over it."

Tilting her head, Deim frowned, flipping back to her feet.'Interesting, in the face of a threat, you negotiate, and lower your defenses to show sincerity of your argument' Puzzled, she continued '..Such are qualities of a Leader, however I am not 'venting'. My need to ascertain wether my choice was correct is still valid in this..Your actions in not continuing to fight go a long way to answering them however' Tilting her head, the war-droid dropped her stance 'We will continue this when the need is less 'pressing' then.'

Oboyo nodded, turning to return to the manor's interior.

"I know you and your reports by now. Helios has been scanning for powerful magic usage from his ship. Captain Spitfire has been coordinating search and rescue teams consisting of half the manor while Launchpad has been logging well over the reccomended flight hours for a single individual with the Gitmidur. And Hastur's probably been halfway across the cleft by now looking for her. Even Mekis and Esteban are keeping an eye out with their usual routines. We'll find her."
With that, Oboyo set off and disappeared into the manor to direct the communications of the different teams.
