It's late evening in Truce, as the usual adventurers come out of the woodwork. Mogwai herself trudges in from the south end of town, giving a half-hearted wave to the people she recognizes before taking a seat by the fountain.

Rather lazily, with her wings fully extended, Spitfire's flying in from the east, though she glides to a smooth landing near the fountain and folds her wings closed.

Kent has been sitting in the fountain area, looking extrmely content compared to his usual self. He has he legs crossed and is leaning back in a fountain chair with a beaten book in his hands. The book is old, worn, and stained. Part of the cover is even missing, but the exiled knight didn't even care anymore. He was re-reading it for the fifth time in the past week.

Manchester sits on one of the fountain's many benches, chewing on a toothpick. He focuses on lifting things with his mind, currently working on small things: small stones, a book from his backpack, his water bottle. He sighs as he practices his telekinesis. 'I wonder how the rest of my team is doing... if they're looking for a way to get to me or get me back... ah, well. Might as well try to do a bit fo work around here, get to know people for a new team.'

"That whole trip was crazy. Fake ghosts, wierd saphire things, vanishing ponies... We wish we could have gotten a reading on that energy surge." Helios flies in from the north, followed by his ever-present, death machine companion. The M85 nods and chirrups something. "Yes, yes. You did help out with solving the mystery." Helios looks around the fountain.

Walking about the place, Roche, with religous text in hand, was preaching sermons from it with gusto and reckless abandon, " My children, You may not hear him but he sees you. He sees you ehn you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake, he knows when you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake"

OldMan Withers entered the center of town, a musty chipmunk chittering away upon his shoulder. The first thing he noticed was a man reading an aged and decrepit book. The scholar in him wanted to inquire on it, but he had also observed the man. A knight or warrior, albeit lacking in proper equipment. No needto fight him. Withers sat down, bringing out an acorn for the chipmunk.

Lancaster looks rather beaten up. His clothes are ripped and torn, and his hand seems to have gotten covered with even more blood. His teeth have also somehow gotten blood on them, and no sane person would ask how it got there. The aforementioned teeth are shown off in the grin of someone who has just brutally murdered a bunch of imps. "Adventuring is actually quite fun," he says to nobody in particular.

Garoth came in from the south exit, not particularly listening to the priest who was rambling on, approaching the benches near the fountain with a wave "Heya Kent, what'cha got there?" he slid in beside the knight and leaned in to glance at ths book.

RetroLudus stumbles herself up and...trips right over one of the fountain's benches, holding a bottle of rum into the air. She quickly stands herself up and kicks the bench, taking a long swig from her bottle. "Stupid bench, who moved you today?" she shouts, before sitting herself down, speaking much softer, "Oy, everything's going poorly today..."

Fiszeradin slithered in from the east, a sled filled with fish pulled along behind him. He appears to have little difficulty with it, and his fur appears to have grown back in nicely.

Mogwai wanders over to the preaching preacher "Interesting, interesting. May I ask, who is watching us? And if this is the religious kind of godly watching, or like government conspiracy spies everywhere kind of watching? Inquiring minds wish to know."

"Nice n-whoa, whoa." Helios' statement is enough to make Spitfire blink twice, before turning her gaze on him and flying over. "What are you saying? I got something about Launchpad having to leave a training exercise for one reason or another, but he didn't elaborate further before bailing out on me."

"Hear hear!" Kent chimed in with the priest. The message was clear, and obviously one of a devout faith. Kent approved. Of course, the demon-hunter noticed his friend Garoth approach and was more than happy to explain the book to him. "This here is the Liber Aurum, the religious text of the Legio Aurea. I found out I am not the first of my world to enter here. Though, I'm fairly positive Sir Edgar is dead."

Lancaster wanders around the fountain, miming parries and the pulling back of slingshots. He's quite obviously revelling in memories of battle like he hasn't for...well, he doesn't know for how long.

Manchester blinks at RetroLudus, then puts his things away in his backpack, gets up, walks over to her, and sits down next to her. "What's the matter, Cap'n? Did one of your exploits not go so well?" He reaches out to try to pat her on the shoulder.

Fiszeradin looked about before making his way over to the bulletin board "Selling fresh caught fish! Who would like to buy some fresh caught fish?" he smiled his sharp tooth'd smile, seemingly enthusiastic about his newest haul.

Reveling in a bit of positive reinforcement from a fellow man of faith, Roche begins speaking with more passion, " And what say you, He who turns his head from divination, He who knows not what he does, He who drives a hummer when he is quite aware of the looming presence of global warming."

RetroLudus thinks for a minute, trying to process who just pat her on the shoulder. "Hey bub, look, ahm a little bit... Uh... Drunk," she mutters, taking another long swig from her bottle, "Could ya refresh my, er, memory?" She sets her bottle down and pokes Manchester on the torso, sniffing at him curiously.

The small chipmunk took the acorn with some joy, gnawing on it as soon as possible. Hearing the shouts of a salesman, the OldMan looked up. The haul of dead fish made a clever thought come into mind. He whispered a few spells into his chipmunk before sending it into the fish. It snuck over into the pile and began frisking over them. The fish began jumping up and out of the container, going this way and that.

Garoth smiled warmly at his friend (though, smile is still his only facial expression, and the warmth is also probably to do with the flames in his pumpkin), patting him lightly on the back as he chuckles "Well, glad to see you've found a piece of your past" he reclined back some on the bench, a small butterfly flitting down from nowehere to alight on his fingers.

"Well, you know about the vacation we all went on, right?" Helios flies closer to Spitfire as the M85 goes over to watch the funny man from before babble on about things. "Well, everyone was just getting started on eating when somebody came running downstairs shrieking about a ghost suit of armor. Naturally, we all went to go and investigate. But that isn't the important part."

"It turns out that the armor ghost was just a hoax." Helios seems to frown. "We left around that point, but we were able to hear what hapened next from the others. Apparently, some sort of saphire was given to you as a reward. Then it... Crumbled, we think. Some sort of energy affected Twilight and she vanished and set the floor on fire. We heard that the accountant was upset with the discount for solving the mystery being runed by damage costs."smote "Well, you know about the vacation

Mogwai makes :| face at the preacher being too busy preaching to answer a question, and decides to get some fish in the meantime. As she approaches the cart, she notices a few of them jumping up and down "Oh wow, that IS fresh!"

Manchester chuckles at RetroLudus. "I'm hurt that you'd already forget the bloke you fished out of the ocean after he fell from the sky. Course, don't blame ya for forgetting a name. Manchester Black is a bit boring, really."

"While that made things a lot clearer..." Spitfire turns away, raising an eyebrow at the jumping fish over near the cart. "That one of the Element-bearers disappeared is not good. At all. We need to organize a proper SAR operation - and am I seeing things?"

Lancaster engrossed in his imaginary battles, falls into the fountain. He stands up, sopping wet and back to reality, and walks over to the fish stand. "I'll take one, please," he says. "Don't ask what I'll do with it."

Kent nudged Garoth with his elbow, hard, when he saw the butterfly go up in flames. "I understand we've been over this, but I don't see how randomly setting nature ablaze helps your case about magic." Kent sighed heavily and went back to his book. He was hoping he could track down some of his favorite quotes that he'd lost track of over the years he had without the book.

RetroLudus tilts her head for a moment in thought, then nods, patting Manchester on the back. "Oh, oh it's you, the new guy," she says, giggling a bit, "No, no, nothing went particularly wrong- My mother just sent me a letter reminding me of how disappointed she is. Figures she'd have to remind me how my sister 'is such a successful priestess in the Order.' She's a bitch." She moves her bottle back up to her lips, taking another long drink from the neck, before setting it down. "Came out here because... Uh... I'm not really sure why, hoping on someone fun," RetroLudus says, shrugging.

Seeing his prose having fallen on deaf ears, Roche falls back on the one other talent he has mastered over the years, offering religous guidance, he begins his quest in bettering the populous with the fellow who had offered him a kind word earlier, the Templar, " Good day sir, my name is Roche, may I assume you have some words to say with the presence above."

Fiszeradin looked down at the fish sled, blinking a few times before tilting his head before attempting to smack the fish back into unconsciousness with his tails, chuckling as he glanced up at his first customer of the day "They're a little more active than I remember tham being when I caught them, but, it's 50 silver a fish." he mostly refrained from slapping around the fish anymore, they didn't seem to hurt anyone from within the sled.

Kent was hoping he could track down some of his favorite quotes that he'd lost track of over the years he had without the book. "It's odd, how much you forget over the years. How base a life can become and how much he has to atone for it."

Well, we can't find any trace of her with the satellite, but that dosen't mean much. What do you think we should do to look for her?" Helios looked over at the fish as well. "Seeing what?" Meanwhil, the M85 began doing what it did best: looming ominously over the priest man. Not that it had ill intentions, it was just curious. It began to follow him as he moved over to talk with... Oh great, the knight.

[23/2013]-[Feb-Sat]-[08:51:36 PM]OldMan Withers began to read a simple novella. Meanwhile, the chipmunk continued on its little adventure, starting to burrow into the depths of the cart before jumping out while the salesman was speaking to a costumer. The amount of floppery increased as at least 7 fish found their way out of the cart. The chipmunk returned to the OldMan, hoping for a treat.

Garoth lowered the butterfly on his fingers to his lap before letting it fly off and dissipate above their heads "Well, yes, I suppose it's nice to remember the other things in life too, instead of just the regrets."

Mogwai hands over a gold piece for two fish, picking out two of the livelier ones. Holding one in the crook of her arm, she holds the other in both paws and savagely bites down on its back, twisting her neck sharply to break its spine. She's understandably annoyed when it keeps moving.

"Uh... Never mind." Spitfire returns her gaze to Helios, using her wings to hover near him. "Since we can't exactly rely on technology to find her... We're just going to have to conduct a search-and-rescue operation the old-fashioned way, and hope we find some sort of sign telling us where the Magic-bearer's gone off to."

Manchester nods at RetroLudus. "I got the same deal from my mum and dad. That I should do better in school, that I should be more normal, that I should hide my power. I finally told them to sod off and did what I wanted, what I was good at, and it was great. You seem to be doing what you like and want, and you seem to be doing well for yourself. You should just not care anymore about what your mum and your sis think. As for what you're looking for, well, I'm always here for ya."

"Sometimes, Garoth, the only two things left in the world are hopes and regrets. I just have an abundence of them." Kent turned to the priest who approached them. "Aye, good sir, but, isn't it unjust to your lord to speak of him is such poor lighting? Why not spread the message while you bask in the glorious daylight, rather than spread your message in the shadows like a base secret?"

Fiszeradin noticed the little chipmunk, hissing at it as he swatted gently at it with his tail "Hsst, shoo you little vermin, they aren't for you." he kept pushing and swatting at the chipmunk, eventually giving up and attempting to grasp at it with his bare paws.

Lancaster hands over the silver, change exact to the decimal. Even though 50's a whole number. "Pleasure doing business with you."

RetroLudus laughs and smacks her hand on Manchester's back with a loud thud, taking another drink. "I don't give a bilgerat's arse what my mother thinks," she says with a strained smile, "I mean, it's nothing, just an annoyance. I hate when she has her little priest lackeys come onto my boat and give me a schpeal. It'd be like if I sent some kinda skeleton over to her office to give her a demonstration of how big her crow's feet are."

"My son, I have spent my time in the day spreading his wisdom in the local pubs, brothels, places of ill-repute, gambling houses, and brothels again. But enough of my faith, prodigal son, what of yours?" Roche says turning his attention fully to the Templar, awaiting a response.

The chipmunk dodged left and right, avoiding as best it could. It ran over and up a near-by building, reaching something of a sanctuary. It hoped. The OldMan found an interesting conclusion to his book. Apparently, the villian succeeds. At least, what was painted as the villian. "Good for you, good for you."

Sometimes we wish we had a better satellite than just a F-class spy satellite." Helios sighs. "Well, that being said, we can dispatch several M32 units to scour the countryside if necessary. Do you think that will be enough?" The M85 looked between the knight and the priest from where it was standing behind the priest. After a spot of deep, introspective thought, it decided that the knight did have a point. Why preach things at night anyway, that was sleepytime.

Kent says 'Father, I am a sinner. I have been turned away by my god and I serve him still to this day out of loyalty. I have speant my time atoning for my sins by bringing an end to his enemies. If I will die a sinner, I will die a sinner with a pure heart." Kent glanced slightly at the metalic demon. "Local laws make my profession increasingly harder, though, father."'

Garoth slipped down to rest his back against the bench "I'm not much of a preachy sort myself. If you're harming someone for the sake of harming them, you should probably stop. Beyond that... its all really grey area." the pumpkinhead pulled off his pumpkin and set it in his lap, mostly wanting to see how the priest reacted.

Something of a ripple abruptly appears between Fiszeradin and the OldMan that the devious chipmunk had retreated to, a rather short figure garbed in torn grey robes materializes a second later. A brown hand extends from the sleeve, holding out a gold piece to the salesman Kojio had just interrupted. He remains silent with both eyes fixated on the fish.

Mogwai wanders over to the fountain, chucking the undead fish inside. It really didn't seem like something she'd want to eat. As she does so, there's a rumble like thunder in the air, followed by a familiar voice falling down.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU--" screams out the falling newcomer as she splashes into the fountain. It's a familiar moogle with long ears, a red pom-pom, and blackened armor. "Oh, hi there Gizmo." says Mogwai.

If you can configure them to be able to search from both air and land, that'd work more effectively than just limiting them to ground-based SAR." With a nod, Spitfire descends again, though she doesn't fold her wings closed - clearly, the incident's got the Wonderbolt captain on edge, if the rapid flicking of her pinion feathers isn't any indication.

Manchester smiles and nods at RetroLudus. "Now, wouldn't that make a fun surprise for her birthday, eh?" He chuckles, then looks up to see the chipmunk up on the building and points at it with two fingers, his thumb pointed up. He snaps his thumb down, sending a bolt of concentrated telekinetic energy at the chipmunk.

RetroLudus shrugs and stands herself back up, taking another long drink of rum. "It would be funny, but it's not like I can see the look on her face," she says, brushing herself of, "So, Manheimer- No, wait... Manchester, yeah, what brings you to the fountain on this...uh... Whatever day? The crowd here seems odd, damn preachers tryin'a tell me I can't drink my rum! I'll toss a bottle at you ya bugger!"

The fish selling serpent let the chipmunk get away, blinking however at the small creature appeared before him "ah, yes, fish. Go ahead and choose two of them." Fiszeradin took the coin and slipped it into his pouch, enjoying the boost to his daily business.

"I see my son, while on that topic, do you have anything you would like to confess, my congregation offers confessions." Roche states taking the seat next to Kent. Noticing the pumpkin on the man's lap, Roche simply nods, " One of my Lord's more, interesting creations I must say." Roche extends his hand to the pumpkinhead in friendship.

Lancaster grabs two and shoves each of them into a specially designed fish holster, one on each side. "Now I shall become...The Fish Slinger!" He strikes a dramatic pose.

Kojio looks down at the fish that had managed to escape the sled, going after the one that requires the least steps and upon grappling with the flailing thing in a strange hug-like embrace vanishes as abruptly as he appeared. The robed creature is once again on a nearby roof, although now with a companion to watch over the proceedings of the strangers below.

Garoth turns his pumpkin up to look at the man, reaching out with his other hand to shake it "Heh, well, if you want to get technical about it, no, I'm not. Deneb made me this way, but I've gotten used to it. Plenty of advantages to having a form like this I'm certain." he said this genuinely and without any sarcasm.

Mula peeks around the corner. Oh god....the fountain is even MORE crowded today. She inches her way around the outskirts of the fountain--that is, until she sees Helios and the M85. She slips around back, being as quiet as can be--of course, what is quiet for a robot? When she gets real close to the lumbering giant, she shrieks: "HI YOU BIG LUG!" as loud as she can and hides in the fountain, in case the giant robot gets surprised and lashes out.

"That's not a problem, we can have some units ready to begin searching later tonight. Hopefully we can find her soon." Helios nods as he transmits some instructions through the M85's antenna and back to the transport. The M85, meanwhile, continues to stand near the knight and the priest. It is beginning to grow bored with the priest's rambling and instead wave-OHSWEETMECHONIS! It shrieks in suprise and turns around to see Mula. It huffs irritably at her before crouching down for a hug.

The chipmunk waited a moment before returning to his master. Sitting upon his shoulder the chipmunk chittered and chattered for another acorn from the OldMan. He hushed it, then retrieved an acorn. "Here, now hush. I'm trying to do something." He retrieved a small box from his robe, containg a fly, long past. He began experimenting with controlling the various small limbs and such. It then flew from the box, though with some trouble. Intricate small creatures tended to require a delicate touch.

Flying high through the sky, oh my, it's Lenai! She drops down quick through the clouds, aimed at the fountain, and one particular friend, using her jets only at the last moment to slow her landing on the robot's shoulders. "Chirpy!" she shouts out, hugging the M85's head, "There you are you big goof, nya!"

Humming softly to himself, Demonicor approched the city from the south, carrying a small cage with a pair of oddly dressed robots inside.

Mogwai helps Gizmo out of the pond, the latter moogle looking quite frustrated "I had him! All that time tracking him down, searching for temporal anomalies... all that time spent training and all for him to send me away so easily..." Mogwai looked at her confused "...Who are you talking about Gizmo?" Gizmo looked confused "Huh? What did you call me? My name is... oh... I see what's going on here."

The small body of the chipmunk fell quietly to the street, before making a small FWUMP and CRUNCH on impact. The OldMan paid it little mind. "Oh well," he muttered, "I have other little tricks." He retrieved a small box from his cloak, containing a fly, perfectly dead. A moment later it was buzzing and flitting about. It then began a journey toward the priest.

Kent lets out a deep breath. "Confessions are not what helps one atone. Our father does not give out forgiveness for accepting our faults. Look at me. I have fallen from grace, but I still serve. I don't seek to confess, I seek to act. And it seems I might be the last man on this bloody continent that understands what I stand for. So, tell me, shall I truely confess to you, or will you learn to pick up a sword and fight for what you believe?"

"That'll work, then." With her wings extended, Spitfire rises into the air, flapping them a few times before rendering a professional salute and turning to fly back to the manor. "I'll be waiting back in my quarters."

Pulling out his religous text, Roche immediately swats behind him knocking a seemingly harmless fly out of the air, after which he looks across the square to the old man, after a few moments he returns his attention to kent, " I will raise my weapon to defend that which I believe, good sir." ROche pulls out his signature weapon, a ruler. " But it won't be a sword."

Manchester smirks. Dead on. He stands himslef up and pats RetroLudus's back. "You may not see her face, but you could probably hear her from anywhere. And I'm here, just looking around, people-watching, waiting for something or someone I find interesting. Luckily, you came along before I ended up having to talk to those zealots over there." He thinks for a moment. "You know, you could probably put some type of ward on your ship to prevent yourself from being bothered by unwanted visitors."

Lancaster sneaks up behind the M85, cocky because of his new weaponry (snrk), and jumps up behind him, thrusting the fish into his metallic back. Unfortunately, the fish just sort of makes a squishy noise. Lancaster lands unceremoniously in a heap. "Ehe..."

Mula peeks up from the fountain, and heaves a sigh of relief. She comes out of the pool, shakes herself as dry as possible, and then wraps her arms around what she can of the M85's waist. "Sorry about that, you big lug. You looked borewd, decided I should do something about that." She says, simply, as she notices someone else resting on the M85's shoulders. Must be a popular..uh, robot today.

RetroLudus smirks and takes another drink of alcohol, putting an arm over Manchester's shoulder. "Nah, that'd be dangerous to pull down and up all the time, I wouldn't want to accidentally harm anyone," she says, shrugging, "I'm already a pirate, don't need to be more suspicious. And that damn priest seems to be ignoring me, maybe I should toss the bottle. It'd be a waste of good rum, though."

The fly flew of course a good deal, hittine the concrete, but it maintained. It couldn't fly, but it began to crawl back towards its last attempted location, a different goal in mind.

"Very well, we will have one of them report in to you with more information." Helios nodded to Spitfire as she flew away before turning and noticing Demonicor approaching. "Why, hello there. How are you, Demonicor? Oh, what is wrong with these two..." Helios flew down to look at the drones in the cage.

Helios) The M85 chiruped happily at Lenai as she hugged it. The mechon hugged Mula too before wondering if the two of them had ever met before. The M85 thought for a moment before pulling out it's chalk so they could carry on an actual conversation. It was about to begin writing when it noticed someone landing in an undignified heap behind it while holding a fish. The mechon turned and poked the man with the barrel of it's cannon, trying to get a reaction.

Lenai giggles and waves down at the little bunny in the M85's arms. "Oh hello down there you adorable little fuzzy-wuzzy, what's your name?" she asks, leaning down over the robot's shoulders, holding out a hand, "I'm Lenai!"

The man approached the M35 with his cage "Hey, helios... they got worse." the repair bots floated around the cage, chittering loudly something together as electricity arced between them.

Fiszeradin reached down toward his stock, trying to grasp the more lively of them, likely only keeping ahold of them because of the suction cups lining his digits, he carries them over the few feet to the fountain and dumps them in before going back to the quieter ones in his sled.

Gizmo chuckles to herself "Interesting... I see how it works. I got the nicknme Gizmo because you called me it just now. Because I used the name earlier. And this means I must be back in time... hmm... so long as I'm causing one paradox..." she says as she spots Helios "I believe I recall I will have helped Helios (wow time travel pronouns suck) make a time machine. I have no idea how to do that. But maybe he can enlighten me."

A beeswax candle set upon a tarnished brass holder goes out.

Lancaster makes a whimpery noise and scoots back slightly. "Sorry about the fishstab. I was getting kinda cocky."

Kent unsheathed his sword and held it in his hand, non-threateningly. Unlike everything else Kent owned, the sword shined brightly and was in flawless condition. "Forged in the fires of mankind, chosen ones of my god. Enfused with the precious metal silver, a pure, holy metal. Cooled in blessed waters used to baptise children. Given to me by the leader of my order. This is my weapon."

Mula twitched an ear and glanced upward to the person on the M85's shoulders. She extends a paw-like hand and gives her hand a good shake. "Hello Lenai. I'm Mula, pleased to meet you." She says, in a calm tone, as she eventually released the girl's hand and sat down near the side of the Fountain.

Roche holds up his ruler, " made of mahogany, impued with paint, this is my weapon, not as impressive, but it hurts just the same." meanwhile,Roche pulls a magnum from behind his back on it the word mary is carved into the barrel, " This is mary, made of holy silver, and its bullets containing a single drop of holy water, she is my backup when the Lord's protection fails me."

Manchester smiles and puts and arm around RetoLudus's shoulder. "Understandable. I could see that causing some problems. And I wouldn't throw that. I'd drink the rum and save the bottle to refill with more rum! Recycling at its finest." He chuckles.

Lenai rolls herself down the M85's shoulder and lands next to Mula, on all fours, before licking her hand, purring. "You must be a friend o' Chirpy here then, yes?" she asks, poking Mula on the nose very gently, "So far it's obvious he gets all the cute ladies."

Garoth glanced along the blade as he readjusted his head onto his shoulders "Silver and holy water? Hmpf, never told me about that before." he stood as he watched the reflectively gleaming edge of the blade.

The fly had finally reached its destination, on the underside of where the holyman sat. A moment later, it errupted into a fist sized ball of fire, in an attempt to set the priest's seat fire. The OldMan looked into the fountain, observing his other creations. "Hmm. How convenient."

"Oh. Oh dear." Helios watched as the two drones danced in the cage. "What did they get into that could have caused this?" He flew up to look at Demonicor again before looking around. "Somebody call our name?"

The M85 tilts it's head at the scared little man before shrugging as Lenai rolls off of it. It turns back to her and Mula and pulls out a piece of chalk from the box, beginning to write. [Oh, stop it. Anyway, how are you two doing?]

RetroLudus shrugs, drinking a bit more from the bottle. "Mischief is afoot, I think I need more rum," she says, taking yet another drink, "I can still walk, this truly is not enough rum."

Fiszeradin laid down on his back beside his sled, grasping one of the fish and simply eating it whole in a single gulp as his tails curled around his cart some "Fish for sale, come get some fresh fish while they last!"

Demonicor gave a small shrug, settling the cage down on the ground. The repair droids were wearing matching tiki masks and patchwork robes, dancing crazily around in circles with sparks issuing from circuits "They probably got into the database or something. I'm not certain what they looked up though"

Kojio tilts his head, now watching the strange little fire lit up under the bench. Then with a yell of realization he scrambles after the reanimated fish, missing it as it sails over the edge of the roof and lands with a fwump, almost landing on the furred merchant. "Aw..."

Gizmo heads on over to Helios "Hey, look, I can't exactly recall how I stand with you right now but... I don't suppose you could show me what I did to get back to my own time?" Meanwhile, Mogwai scratches her head in confusion before tagging along, catching Lenai and Mula over by Helios "Hey you two, it's been a while!"

"For another time, Garoth, there is the true story behind this sword that you should hear." Kent smiled faintly at Garoth, not in a display of happiness, but in trust of giving a promise. Of course, the peace was interrupted by the priest being lit on fire. 'When you befriend that which you hate, Hunter, they betray you.' Kent looked down at his sword, his reflection speaking again.

Kent looked at Garoth, the firemage was obviously of a different code of living than Kent. Maybe the demon had a point, befriending a mage was against what he stood for. "Garoth," Kent spoke calmly, as if nothing was going on,"Could you be so kind as to extinguish our friend? It would appear he's ablaze and I think you know how to fix that." Of course, Kent knew better than to assume Garoth was the problem. Perhaps part of a solution.

Lancaster breathes a sigh of relief and stands up, brushing dust off himself. "...I have made up my mind. I must go and train my fish scales until I am the best in the land. Goodbye, fountain people." He walks away to train.

Manchester smirks and telekintecially pulls two bottles of rum from his backpack. He grabs one, pops it open, nudges RetroLudus with it. "Guess it's a good thing that I brought this, eh? I told ya the next time we met, I would buy the drinks." He chuckles and takes a swig before holding it out to RetroLudus.

Mula wiggles her nose slightly, taking a quick sniff from it. "That's right, me and the big lug had our differences, but he started to grow on me." He says, shooting a playful glare at the M85 as if it should know what it did. However, he answers the M85 calmly. "I'm fine, can't really complain. Had some fun with a flower garden to the south a ways..needless to say, I'm not longer welcome near that small farming community.." She says, waving to Mogwai with a smile.

RetroLudus smirks and finishes off her bottle, setting it down on the bench behind her before taking a swig of Manchester's bottle. "Fantastic, I'll be hammered soon," she says, chuckling and sitting back down, "So what have you been up to the past few days, anyway?"

Well, I don't have much practice in drawing on other sources, but alright." the pumpkinhead reached out a hand towards the flames, concentrating ever so slightly, the fire on the priests robes abating as a ball of flames coalesced into being between Garoth's outstretched fingers.

Seeing as his tuccus was no longer alit, Roche calmed down returning to the now warm bench seat, " Thank you, my friend, i am glad to know that you are a capable wielder of the divine forces

Seeing as his tuccus was no longer alit, Roche calmed down returning to the now warm bench seat, " Thank you, my friend, I am glad to know that you are a capable wielder of the divine forces." Roche says to Garoth, before foucsing his attention on the decrepit old man across the way.

RetroLudus) Lenai giggles and continues to lightly poke Mula on the fur, examining her closely. "Chirpy doesn't seem like he could hurt much," she says, shrugging, "But what to I know!" She takes a moment to examine the message, and says, "Oh, I've just been searching around for delicious snackoids, Chirpy. Thought I'd visit you again so I followed your signals and stuff, totally tracked you, yep." Lenai looks back behind her at Mogwai, and waves with her free hand, giggling a bit. "Hey you," she says, smiling, "It's been far too long, we'll need time to catch up!"

OldMan Withers studied the fish, making them swim in various patterns. He only wished he had something to feed them. He considered what he might do with them. Then he noticed the one with a pumpkin extinguish his flames before they could do much. One fish seperated from the group, making a b-line for the man, leaping out and flopping into his pumpkin. Meanwhile, the OldMan had noticed the eyes trained on him. "Oh no, I've been found out." he muttered sarcastically.

"Ah... Are the causing any problems? We can take them back in to be reprogrammed." Helios pondered what those two drone could have looked up. "Very strange..." He looked over as Gizmo approached. "Time travel? Oh, yes, we helped you with that once before. We could pull it off again, though."

Helios) The M85 scuffed its foot against the ground awkwardly. [I said I was sorry...] It brightens up again and makes something that sounds like a snicker. [Well, it looks like you will have to find some other flower patch to eat from. I could get you some quality flowers from my garden once they bloom, if you want.] It looks over at Lenai, suprised. [I didn't know you you could do that. That's some fancy add-on, I bet.]

Fiszeradin glanced down at the flopping fish, grasping it and aiming it into the fountain as he tossed it backwards before looking for its source, smiling warmly at the cloaked creature on the rooftop he recognized as one of his customers. He reached down and grabbed a couple fish, tossing them up to the creature before relaxing back.

Gizmo grins "Thanks. I mostly just need an explanation on anything I assisted with." Meanwhile, Mogwai gives Lenai a hug "Oh definitely. Catch up and... other things. Is Mula a friend of yours, or just a mutual acquaintance of our favorite friendly giant here?" she says, gesturing towards the M85.

Kent stood up,Before the preacher began to say much more. "While, I'm not sure that you have the right idea, one sinner at time will not get you far, I exhault your efforts. I have a long walk out of town myself." Kent looked offwards, towards southern path to the inn. "I'm leaving town on a small quest I've been assigned and I shall be out of town for a few days. Goodnight, all" Kent nodded to his friends and began to walk towards the inn.

Kojio blinks as he suddenly spots fish soaring up at him from below, instinctually scooting backwards along the roof and scrambling about to try and catch them. Awkward as he is walking around in the robes though, he trips and much like the first fish goes plummeting off the roof - unlike the fish, however, he vanishes before hitting the ground and is back on his specating platform. He gives a thankful wave to the merchant then scoots back, hoping his fall wasn't noticed.

Demonicor slowly shook his head and glanced off to the south some "I would prefer to not have their memories wiped, so long as they stop being quite so eccentric and wanting to cast spells... which I think is what they're trying to do. They were getting into the hang of a routine while with me"

Manchester chuckles and shrugs. "Oh, just getting to know me way around. New world, and all. Seeing the sights, getting used to seeing all the different creatures and things. This place is magnificent. Also, been working on bringing my power back. Got a good bit back, but still not at my full potential." He smiles and opens the second bottle, taking a swig from it.

Garoth was rather surprised as the fish slid into his perpetually open mouth, flailing with a shout as he fell over and accidentally threw the contained fireball in the direction of OldMan.

Returning the favor, Roche palces a bariier around his arms, " This may feel funny." Roche immediately grabs the fish from his friends head and throws it to the ground. Wanting nothing more to do with the undead fish Roche shoots the rotten creature with mary, its body alight with blue flames before desintigrating.

Mula blinks some as she gets poked, but silently tolerates it. However, her ears perk up some as her head turns to the M85 "Yeah, you did. I'm sorry to keep on bringing it up..even though it wasn't your fault..." She pauses for a minute to rub the back of her head before continuing "....However, yes, I will need a new place to get my...ahem...food from. The flowers there were always plentiful too..stupid farmer deciding to come out at four in the morning....I would love that, thanks!" This earns the M85 another hug of gratitude.

RetroLudus chuckles and takes another drink, shrugging a bit. "Regaining powers is nice, I suppose- Just be careful what you do with them," she says, patting Manchester on the back, "Don't accidentally piss someone off."

Fiszeradin continued lying on the ground, he raised his paw to his snout, hissing out again, his voice like an audible whisper "Fresh fish! Get them while they're cold! he chuckled, lowering his paw again, his haul today had been good, as had his sales.

Lenai hugs Mogwai back, giving her plenty of little floofs and pets on the head and pom-pom. "Mula and I just met just now!" she says, giggling, "She seems to be nice enough, although she said Chirpy did something bad- I guess he must have." She looks over at the M85 and smiles, shaking her head and saying, "No, no, it's just part of how I was built I think, plenty of little tidbits and functions, nya!"

A ball of flames was travveling at him, and rather quickly. But there was a simple solution. Having a few options, he went with what might look most impressive. His studies into other forms of magic gave him ways to counter. Though he could not catch it, the OldMan was able to redirect the flames with a few hushed whispers and the movement of his hands. Though it looked simple, it did take a bit from him, as his breathing became a bit labored.

"Oh, we can do that. Wait a second, though." Helios turned back to Demonicor. "Well, that may be an issue... We would have to do a full software reset to fix that, which includes a memory wipe." He ponders the drones for a moment. "Here, let us talk to them for a minute and see if we can work something out." Helios fell silent as he stared at the drones. They quieted down as well, evidently some sort of silent wireless exchange was going on.

(Helios) The M85 happily accepted the hug, squeezing gently so as not to hurt Mula. It looks over at Lenai. [There may have been a bit of a] The M85 paused for a moment before continuing. [friendly fire incident during an attack on Truce. And that's pretty neat, who built you with all of that stuff?]

Mogwai grins "I've only met her recently myself... but enough talking like she isn't here. Mula, Lenai here is a good friend of mine. Lots of fun, and don't expect it all to be clean either."

Manchester smirks and nods, taking another swig from his bottle. "Ah, don't worry, Cap'n. I won't piss off anyone I can't affored to." He smiles and pats RetroLudus on the back.

Mula tilts her head at Mogwai. "Hmm, really? Well, this should be an interesting friendship then.." She says, non-commitally as she follows Lenai with her eyes--well, as best as she can. "Get an eyeful yet?" She says, amusedly, as she tries to split her attention between the three, and not doing so well at it.

RetroLudus smiles and nods, taking another drink. "It's just a good idea to be careful," she says, setting the bottle down, "For instance, if you were to piss of a real priest, unlike that guy, he could... Well... You would regret it. Divine magic is strong."

Lenai smiles and wraps her free arm around Mula, hugging both of the little fuzzy girls into her squishy torso. "Oh stoppit Moggy, you're gonna make me blush!" she says, smiling at Mula, "No, I haven't gotten an eyefull yet." She looks up at the M85, saying, "Dunno, I don't remember much before I got here- Little bits and pieces that don't make much sense..."

Garoth gagged a somewhat as the fish was removed from his head, he stumbled around a moment before straightening up "Thanks for that... now that I think of it though, that may have been dangerous, I'm not even certain what all I have stashed in there..." he shook his pumpkin before looking about for the culprit, fairly certain that it wasn't the serpent.

Well, they said that they found something about voodoo and really liked it." Helios seems to frown. "Whatever voodoo is. Well, we got them to agree to stop trying to cast spells, we think." He turned back to Gizmo. "Alright, so what you need to do is..." Helios launched into a lengthy and detailed explination of what she would need to do and gather to buld a time machine. "...and just let us know if you need any help building it."

The M85 chuckles at Mula's plight. [You guys are funny.] It seemed to frown at Lenai's statement. [Well, that's too bad. My first activation test was back on Mechonis, but I was put in storage and woken up here by Helios. At least I have a bit of a memory from my homeworld.]

"See that old gent, across the way." Roche pointed his friend in the direction of old man withers. " His aura reeks of evil, He is the source of our discontent." Roche focuses his gaze on the old man, mouthing words softly so that the old man began to feel some discomfort in his old bones, his voice marginally getting louder.

Garoth reaches over and gives Roche a small shove, just enough to probably break his concentration "Oh please, he's just an old man, and besides, even if he is 'evil', you're surrounded by adventurers with your word against his." Garoth gave a small shrug at the holyman

Mogwai looks up in recollection, grinning like a doofus "Yeah, a fair bit more than an eyefull..." she says, before realizing maybe she misinterpreted the question "Wait, I mean what do you mean by that?" Meanwhile, Gizmo thanks Helios for the information "I'm sure I already asked you to help me out, so I'll keep that in mind."

"Your talking about the man who put fish in your brain, but, as a man of the church I must understand forgiveness greater than anyother, I apologize my friend." Roche looks to his companion, with an apologetic smile before taking one last look at the old man and his pond of tricks.

Demonicor nodded his thanks to the robot and smiled, rubbing his side a little Thank you, they may have grazed me once or twice while dancing about, before I decided to 'play a game' of 'will it fit in a crate'." he smiled widely at the mechon "So, tell me, do you need anything at all that I can help you with? You've done a lot for me, and I still haven't figured out how to repay you."

"Not a problem, happy we could help you out. We have to go and oversee launching some of those M32s to look for Twilight, so we will have to take our leave of you all. M85, time to go! Start heading home!" Helios calls before looking over at Demonicor. "Hmmm... Nothing at the moment, but how about we just leave it as an open favor?"

The M85 sighed as Helios caled it. [Hey, Mula, I have to go now, but you can come with me and see my flower garden if you want.] The M85 stands up and puts aeay it's chalk, looking at her imploringly.

His bones ached, distracting him from his various fish, causing them all to stop and float. It was an interesting sight. Then it passed. The fish, however, stayed stationary. He stood and looked to the priest, glad he had stopped for whatever reason. Not out of fear, but because he didn't have any desire to kill anyone today. The priest was misguided, but he would learn the world. The OldMan walked up to the priest, simply saying, "Evening."

Manchester smiles at RetroLudus. "Aye, I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the tip, Cap'n." He holds his bottle out to RetroLudus.

Kojio looks at the no longer wiggling and flailing fish, giving a slight shrug and chowing down on one of them. He was slightly dissapointed that the wayward fireball had gone out so quickly, and was now looking for something else to have his gaze fixed on.. deciding on the M85 that unfortunately was looking ready to leave. "So many things leaving so quickly..."

Garoth nodded to the old man with a wary smile "Hello elder, I hope you're feeling well tonight?" he asks innocently enough, holding out a hand in greeting.

Mula glances up at the M85. "Sure. I'd like that very much. I promise not to do anything until the flowers have sprouted." She says, with a smile, as she stands beside the ginat M85, and gets ready to follow it...well, whereever it's about to head. Almost as an afterthought, she gives Lenai and Mogwai a hug and a wave goodbye, presumably.

RetroLudus nods and pats Manchester on the back, before taking the other bottle, drinking from both of them. "I think... I should head back to me ship," she says, standing up and stumbling a bit, "Iffin you need something, Manchester, just, uh... Come meet me there. I'm going to go rest, because goddesses know I never sleep..."

"Good evening, child of the lord, might I inquire to how you're doing today." Roche states after a brief glance at his friend, to see what his reaction would be.

Lenai waves at the M85 and Mula, still hugging Mogwai tightly into her soft torso. "Bye Chirpy! Bye Mula! Bye little floaty robot!" she shouts out, purring softly as she suddenly attacks Mogwai with snuggles and licks, "Nya, see some of you soon!"

Demonicor lifted the cage with the robots floating about inside it, muttering back and forth amongst themselves "Glad to see you again friend, have a safe travel" he turned toward the south, glancing into the fountain and at the dead fish with a smile "I give them four hours before they disintegrate." he shook his head amusedly before continuing on to the south and out of truce.

"Very well, that works for us. We must go and deal with the M32s now. See you two later, and you know where to find us if you need anything." Helios turned and flew north. The M85 beckons to Mula as it follows Helios.

Mula glances over to Mogwai before she leaves. "What I meant by that was not what you'd think. She seemed to take a liking to me, and she kept on poking me, and I was just asking if she was done yet...guess I should've chose my words a bit more carefully.." She says, with a blush as she slowly follows the M85 to it's garden

OldMan Withers accepted the outstretched hand from the pumpkinhead. The priest spoke as the often had, referring to some lord. "I'm doing well. And my apologies for the fish. I just don't enjoy people interfering with what I do. As for you," he looked to the priest, "What I did to you was to just mess with you. I've never been to fond of religious types. Tell me, what lord is it that you follow?"

"The Lord which I follow is one who has not let me stray from my path, all that is done is through his will, it is he who has made the lands, the skies, the water, the life, and even the magic we all rely on." Roche stated , disliking those who even thought of making him doubt his faith

Mogwai smirks "I wasn't too far off then... you really do bring out the worst in me Lenai." she says, giving her a friendly squeeze.

Lenai giggles and hops up, bouncing in front of Mogwai. "Ooh, ooh, I got tons of new weapons, look!" she says, holding out her hands- Claws quickly slide out from her fingertips, sharp as could be.

OldMan Withers found his response tad long and confusing. "My apologies, but that didn't answer my question. I asked which one?"

Mogwai recoils back a little "Nice. I got... hmm, hang on a second..." she says as she focuses on Luna's blessing, a whip of lunar energy forming in her hand. "Fun eh?"

Garoth sighs as he shakes his head, not saying a word about the faith his friends place in gods "Well, I personally prefer my fish a little better cooked than that one was." he chuckled somewhat as his flames flickered some, the old man might notice a harmlessly pink glowing flame beginning to flow around the bridge of his nose.

Manchester smiles at RetroLudus. "Maybe I should help you back to your ship. Ya don't look to be the most coordinated, right now."

"My devotion, is to my God." Roche said getting wuite annoyed with the old man's intusion on his day.

Lenai oohs and aahs at the energy, reaching out to poke it. "Ooh, ooh, I also have blades in my wrists, and a crossbow!" she says, ejecting the blade from her free wrist, "Oh, also, I got my soul ripped out and shattered, nya. That's probably the biggest news."

RetroLudus nods, and pulls one arm up, resting it over Manchester's shoulder. She takes another swig of rum and giggles, pointing off toward her ship. "Carry me that-a-way oh glorious paladin!" she shouts, hopping her legs up, hoping to be caught in Manchester's arms.

The whip is strangely cool to the touch, and mostly solid. Mogwai nods along at Lenai's other enhancements, before doing a double-take at the last one "Wait, what? That doesn't sound pleasant at all!"

Manchester does manage to catch RetroLudus (with a bit of help from his telekinetics keeping her in the air) "As you command, milady!" He smiles and begins carrying her in the way she pointed.

Lenai giggles and nods, leaning her head in closer to nuzzle at Mogwai's paw and the wisp of energy, purring. "Oh yes, it was incredibly painful! Especially the part where I glued it back together and slammed it into my body again, nya!" she says, happily kneading on Mogwai's sides.

Mogwai nods "It sure sounds like that... still, sounds like you recovered well enough, but if there's anything you need... well, you know where to find me after all." she adds, resting her head on Lenai's chest with a smile.

A flame had appeared between his eyes. Odd. The OldMan could only guess was the pumpkin again. "Yes, that is true. I see you are skilled with fire. If you like, you can have one of these," he gestured to the floating bodies with an arm. "Priest, I shall rephrase my question. If asked to fill out a form that asked your religious affiliation, what would you put down? And don't take this as an attack on your views. I merely wish to learn on it. I am...or rather, once was a highly renowned scholar

Lenai smiles and hugs Mogwai into her chest, purring a little louder. "Ooh, ooh, do I find you in, um... No, actually I have no clue where you live!" she says, pouting, "I bet it's beautiful though, like a giant... Uh... Fish!"

"My father was pope where I come from, meaning he was the head of the catholic religion, put that on your form." Roche said, hoping the old man would take his tone as a hint to leave him be.

Mogwai giggles "No, nothing quite so glamorous. I mostly live out of my bus which is... FUCK that time traveler nicked it again. I'll need to go find it later. But yeah, I usually stay in the local inn. I love their jacuzzi too much to leave..."

Lenai giggles and pets Mogwai's head, tapping her chin. "Oh, hey! I could totally find your bus- Or fix it if it's broken! I'm certified to fix things sort of almost, meow!" she says, hugging Mogwai in tight again, "I could probably make it tick like clockwork! Or a tick!"

Garoth shook his head and laughed, letting the glow fade "Honestly, I have no idea how to prepare fish, I just usually eat the stuff they have in the store or cafe." Garoth patted the priest lightly on the shoulder "Our new acquaintence here appears to be amenable for the moment, and you did speak of forgiveness not long ago. Don't you churchy types enjoy some wine now and then? I think either the bar or the general store has some in stock." he tries to break the tension, maybe Garoth could get the two to not be nearly at each otber's throats next time they met.

"I don't appreciate your hostility, young one. What gives you the right to withhold knowledge, to be so rude to one who is several times over your elder. This is why I never liked people like you, assuming the worst. But so be it. If you aren't willing to pay the respects I deserve, then we have little else to discuss." The OldMan touches a fish, bringing it into a form of life momentarily lost.

Mogwai says 'I think I'll just settle for you finding it. I've already got a mechanic for it who modified it so I can actually drive it at my height and... well... after everything he's done to it I'm not exactly sure what counts as broken or fixed.'

Lenai taps her head a couple times. "My processors might be able to figure something out if that mechanic ever has an accident or a sick day! Worst case," she says, holding Mogwai close as she jets up into the air, "I can fly you places!"

"Do not assume my tone is that of disrespect, I know the power you hold, and I respect you for it, but that doesn't mean I like it." Roche says, attempting to disarm the situation.

Kojio has his eyes fixed on the potential conflict down at the fountain.. an elder, the preacher and one with a pumpkin for a head. Scooting towards the edge of the roof he tosses a fish at the nearest of the three - it's missing a few chunks from its spine.

Mogwai hugs Lenai tightly "Well, ok. I'll keep that in mind. Though... I can think of much more fun things to do with you than fly around."

Garoth sincerely has lost all grasp of what could help the situation, and is instead hit with another fish from behind "Gah, what the heck is with today and fish!"

Lenai lets herself go up fairly high and start tumbling down. "Well, I suppose we could go have some fun, if you'd like," she says with a giggle, settling herself with her jets before landing, "Did you rent a room already? We could go there!"

Mogwai gives out a small yelp and holds onto Lenai tighter as they fall "N-no, not yet. But I was planning on doing so once things wrapped up here."

"It was your hostility that I saw as disrespect, but I forgive you for it. Just be sure you..." The OldMan had more to say, but the sight of the pumpkin being hit by yet another fish caused him to first pause, then begin laughing a good deal. "I assure you, I did not send that one."

Lenai giggles and continues to hug Mogwai close, looking down at her. "I don't have any money, so I hope you don't mind if I stay with you for at least tonight!" she says, purring a bit, "It'll be fun, like a sleepover, nya!"

"Maybe the fish released some manner of pheremone while in your head." Roche stated sharing in the laughter of the old man.

Mogwai smirks, playfully beeping Lenai on the nose "Mmhmm, but I bet most sleepovers don't have the kind of events you have planned. Although..." she says, drifting off into thought "I'll need to file that away for later. Sure, you can stay over."

Lenai starts walking her way off toward the Inn, cradling Mogwai in her arms. "Let's get a WHOLE BUNCH of cake! And... And..." she says, blinking, "Other foods!"

Garoth rubbed the back of his pumpkin, looking a little stern for a moment before he relaxed and loosened up, starting to chuckle "Heh, well, maybe." he laughed lightly with the two of them.

Kojio lets out a sigh of relief and after a moment of looking for a way to actually climb down from the roof decides on teleporting down. He smiles and places another gold coin on the resting merchant's head before flopping down to sit next to him. The unfamiliar voice is almost empty-sounding, and rather quiet "Those fish of yours have many uses.."

"Yes, perhaps that is so. Anyhow, I must be on my way soon. But I must ask, what are your names?" OldMan Withers looked to the fish, wondering whatto do about it.

Keeping his response short, "Roche"

"I've basically been known as Garoth as far as I remember" the pumpkinhead shrugged lightly and continued his carven smile.

The fisherserpent gave a small snort, one might notice his eyes were shut, though his tails were wrapped some around the sled, it probably wouldn't be difficult to reach in. Fiszeradin snoozed quietly on the pavement of the plaza beside the bulletin board.

"Well, it was...somewhat nice to meet you. You may call me Withers. Now I must be off. A text or two I wish to read." Before leaving, the OldMan brought the fish to life, then went north. He hoped the fish would add a nice touch to the fountain. Til they rotted, of course.

Standing Roche thanks his new pumpkin headed friend for his ear in his matters, and says his goodbyes, " Good night all, I am sure I will be seeing you soon enough."

With that said, Roche simply walked off into a dead end alley, and didn't return
