Deim disembarks, shaking her hair out and muttering softly about salty air.

Deim glances about with a hint of distaste, not all too pleased to return to the Isle of her rebirth.

Deim shakes her head and resolves to find this 'manor house'

"Hey, did you hear? Lord Jinsaka's son has been living alone in their manor." said an elderly woman to another on a bench nearby. "Oh my. I never thought that family would return here after what that repulsive man did." said the other. "I hear his son was exiled here. And now he's making a life of chasing ghosts!" (Oboyo)

"They certainly are an eccentric family, aren't they?" said the other woman. "Not as eccentric as that Dr. Wily. Heavens, I was searched by a little mettaur the other day!" (Oboyo)

"How horrible!" "I know! I gave that mettaur one glance and simply walked away." "As well you should! Good riddance, this city is becoming more unruly by the day." (Oboyo)

Tilting her head thoughtfully, Deim's earfins twitched perceptibly as she picked up references to her quarry. Musing softly to herself, she confirmed the name of the curious ser '..hmm..jin..jinsak..Yes, Jinsaka manor.' Nodding firmly, the gynoid strode forward purposefully, bowing politely to the pair of old gossipers. For all the world the image of a somewhat small, young woman. Her soft, even voice further enhanced the image. 'Pardon me, I overheard you mention Jinsaka manor..Could I trouble you for directions? I was asked to meet someone there..' (deim)

After being approached by the young woman, the two elderly ladies look towards each other for a second before turning their faces back towards her, "My, aren't you such a well mannered young lady! Why would you possibly wish to be associated with that eccentric family?" commented the first woman as the other spoke over her. (Oboyo)
"Now, now, Margarett. What the lady does is her business. Of course, dearie. Just turn around here and find the intersection of Main and Kohryuu street. It's the mansion with the black gate. (Oboyo)

Deim bowed her head as her seldom used etiquette routines suggested, brushing her hair back as she rose again.'Thank you..' Casting a glance down the indicated street, she gave the gossipers another, shorter bow, then headed towards the manor. Frowning slightly upon finding noone at the gates to welcome her, she pushed the black gate inward, uncertain of just what she could expect.

Deim casts a thoughtful gaze around as she enters, her long jacket trailing around her 'Hmm..I can see why the place needs security at least..'

An elderly moogle could be seen exitting the main door, carrying a pot of stew. It didn't take her long to notice the stranger in the courtyard, "Kupo! Hello there, dear. Are you lost, kupo?" (Oboyo)

Delicately raising an emerald brow, Deim considered the moogle, before bowing politely to her aswell. Rising fluidly before answering. 'A most curious Ser, calling himself Lord Jinsaka requested I visit this Manor next I found myself upon this Isle..I have come to honour his request.' Glances about dubiously 'I am in the correct manor, am I not?'

"Ahh, a guest of the young master's? He really ought to tell us these things, kupo. Yes dear, this is the right place. Just head inside and take the first hall to the right, he should still be around there with Dr. Spengler, kupo!" said the elderly moogle as she held the door open for the guest. (Oboyo)

Deim gave the moogle a soft 'thank you' in passing and stepped into the manor proper atlast. Soon coming to a halt inside again as she saw the state within.

"That won't work, Chief. How many times must I tell you? It has to be plutonium, I don't have the time to research these..'magical' energy sources you keep telling me about." said a blonde haired man wearing glasses towards Oboyo, both of which could be seen nearby in the eastern hall.

"Oh Egon, quit dismissing it just because it's 'magic'. It's probably just as powerful as your silly 'plutonium' stuff." replied Oboyo, causing the blonde haired man to shake his head vigorously, clearly annoyed.

Twitching her earfins, Deim localised the sounds and ran them through her memory-files, identifying one as the Lord whom had requested her presence. Glancing down both ways, she spotted the source of the voices and strode forward with her usual firm stance. Tilting her head as she took in the other person in the hall, she announced her presence with a soft cough. 'Ser Jinsaka? Commander Deim, reporting as requested..

"There is no such thing as..! Argh! Do you want me to overload this gun and show you just how powerful plutonium really is?" growled Egon, who clearly harbors hatred towards the fact that magic is commonplace and widely accepted throughout the cleft. (Oboyo)

Before Oboyo could respond, he heard a voice calling his name. He looked over and noticed a familiar figure in front of him. "Hold up, Egon. Looks like we have a visitor! It's good to see you again, Commander Deim. I apologize for running off like that so quickly before. Did you enjoy the rest of the festival?"

Deim nodded her head, brushing back a lock of deep green hair unconsciously.'It was..informative. I learned a great many things during the festivities.' Turning to Ser Jinsaka's companion, she stood at attention, as much as a diminutive 5 foot girl could. 'Greetings, are you another recruit of Ser Jinsaka's? Commander Deim, formerly of Star Base Eshtvar, at your service.'

"Haha, that's nice to hear! I heard they opened a stall for people to test their strength. I'd have liked to have given that a go, but--" said Oboyo until he was cut off by Egon, "With all due respect, Chief..I've got some work to do. Whenever you're ready to make a real suggestion and not one pertaining to 'magic', you know where to find me." said the scientist coldly as he turned around and walked off.

"Ah, don't mind him. He's still upset about..someone's recent passing. Well, I'm glad you came. Things are going to be picking up around here soon, and your timing couldn't be better." said Oboyo as he extended his hand, "You can just call me Oboyo. I try to avoid formalities when I can, especially with the Chief of Security."

Blinking, Deim muttered a soft 'how rude', that is untill she heard why the gangly man was upset. Deim blinked again, processing this, before clasping the hand extended towards her, shaking it firm but gently. 'I see..Very well, is Ser Oboyo acceptable, or would you prefer simply 'Oboyo? Data suggests as my 'boss', a certain level of formality is required..'

Oboyo laughed after shaking her hand and pulling his back, "Honestly, I'm alright with whatever title you wish. I've got a lot of them floating around here anyway." Oboyo then turned to point out the main hall, which he's sure she's already seen. "Welcome to the Jinsaka Manor! Don't mind the mess, I've had to..lower the standards around here to get by for a while. I hope to have it cleaned up before the Paranormal Deliverence Force opens for business."

Oboyo then proceeds to move towards a room down the eastern hall, "Let me show you the room I reserved to be your office."

'Ser Oboyo it is then. Hmm, the Test of Strength..Yes. I tried that..' Deim paused and frowned slightly as she led herself be led along.'The stall holder was quite rude about it, he did not seem too pleased with my result.' She crossed her arms over her cuirassed chest and gave a soft huff of malcontent, it made her seem considerably younger and more girlish then usual.

Oboyo laughed in response to Deim's comment, imagining the damage she could inflict on such a stall. As he unlocked the door and opened it, he pointed out the various equipment seen throughout the room. "As you can see..I haven't really set up security around here yet. Moit promised a technician would help out, but he's been pretty busy since..our last mission.
Throughout the room, one could see multiple monitors, cameras, alarm systems, and other security decides lined up on tables but not attached to anything. Toward the end of the room was a door leading into another office. "The door back there will be your personal office. Sooner or later, I'll have other individuals working security, who will be working for you. But for now..I'd like for you to try to set some of these up on your own." (Oboyo)

Deim glances around the various equipment, nodding as her scans catalogued them according to function. 'This will be..sufficient. The technology is less..advanced then those I am familiar with back 'home', I can have it running in..' she paused briefly, polling an estimate.'Hmm, 'a day or two, three on the outside'. Will this be satisfactory?' Moving along the devices, she inspects them more closely, before recalling another necisity. 'I will require a list of places to install them, any rooms that need be exempted and so on.' (deim)

"Already ahead of you." said Oboyo as he moved over towards a desk, opening a side drawer and pulling out a map with instructions. "You'll have to wait on this room here..Lucass wants to move the Tablet of Promise out of the main hall." commented Oboyo as he pointed towards a room on the map. At the same time, he could feel his pager going off.
"Looks like I'm needed in the other hall. If you need anything and I'm too busy to reach, you can call for Ms. Kuporia anytime with this button here. I promise to wrap things up soon so I can help get to get better situated in here. Again, it's a pleasure to have you, Commander Deim." said Oboyo, waiting for any last questions before heading out the door.

'Understood. I will follow the instructions precisely' Peering closely at the map, Deim memorised the room in question, before nodding. 'Any requests, go to ms. Kuporia..Hmm the old lady who goes 'kupo'?'Nodding again, she gave a crisp salute. Turning her attention back to the devices with a last. 'Security is in capable hands Ser you, rest easy on that.'

"Great! I'll be off, then. Oh, and get to know everyone! We're all going to be depending on you to keep us safe." said Oboyo, just before heading out the door to take care of business with other attendants.
