Walking down the corridor from the Security office, Deim was absorbed in a file of data-scans. Tilting her head, she called out in a slightly raised voice to catch attention as she entered the main lobby. 'Ser Oboyo, a moment of your time. I have some information to address from surveilance'

Oboyo stood just before the Tablet of Promise looking over a few new names that were chiseled in recently, such as 'Mekis' and 'Julexa'. Upon hearing his name, Oboyo turned his head to the right and saw Deim approaching. "Oh, good morning Deim. What is it?"

Tucking the data-pad into her coat, Deim blinked before responding promptly 'During routine perimeter sweeps of the outerwalls last night, I encountered several anomolous readings. Upon reviewing data-scans, the reports concluded the manor had been under surveilance for some time.' Tilting her head she paused a moment to allow him to reflect on this before continuing in her even tones. 'Whilest I was unable to apprehend those responsible for questioning in regards to their reasons for such, they were quick to relocate when it was understood they had been detected.'

"Surveilance? You mean the manor was being watched during last night's banquet?" asked Oboyo as he turned his body away from the Tablet of Promise to face the cyborg. "Strange..but not out of the question I suppose. Not too long ago, this building was on death row. And now it is frequently visited by a large variety of individuals. I guess you weren't able to track them?"

Blinking, Deim considered which question to address first, before responding. 'Yes, the times co-incide with the Event described. Locations of detected individuals are prime ones to..I believe the phrase is 'count faces'' Nodding to herself, she continued 'I was uncertain of wether you desired persuit of them after they fled. Long range scans lost track of them after they entered the city proper, I did not persue. I have however saved relevant data-scans, including some footage captured by one including some footage captured by one of the camera's mounted on the exterior walls.'

"That's alright, chasing after them and shaking them down would probably have just caused more trouble." commented Oboyo as he rose his right hand towards his chin. "The curiousity isn't unreasonable, but I do want to take a look at the footage to see just what kind of toadies we're looking at."

'Understood, persuit unless proven hostile is undesirable.' Reaching into her coat again, Deim retrieved the data-pad. Slim, black clad fingers nimbly moved along it's surface, untill she retrieved the relevant file. 'I have not yet had time to replace the wall camera's with more sophisticated Tech, thus the imagery is somewhat grainy.'
Before handing over the data-pad, Deim clicked the segment to Active, and the screen cleared, showing a sped up view of the exterior wall. Visible, were several individuals swathed in long cloaks and coats lurking in the shadow of the wall, msking notes as guests partied within the mansion, occasionally footage showed the glint of light reflecting off binoculars aswell.

As Oboyo watched the footage on the data-pad, he was able to make one conclusion. "Hmmm. Well at least they weren't sent from my old man."

Tilting her head curiously, Deim probed with a delicacy usually not employed. 'Why can that conclusion be drawn Ser Oboyo, would your 'old man'' the phrase came uneasily from the war-droid'..employ more visible spies?'

Oboyo nodded, pointing towards the glinting of the binoculars. "He comes from a line of proud old farts who hate technology. He would refuse to use something as simple as this."

Frowning with mild distaste, Deim nodded 'I see, yes, that would preclude him from their employ.' Deciding something further was needed, she continued 'I am pleased however you do not share such views and have no problem employing a technological creature such as myself. '

Oboyo tried not to laugh, as he was sure the cyborg didn't intend that to be a joke. He instead smiled, handing the data-pad back to her. "That's part of the reason he disowned me. This manor was built in Shrike's early days, spitting in the eyes of the industries as they grew and prospered while relying on technology instead of their unpaid servants. I hoped to lead my family out of that view on life, but here I am."
Oboyo sighed, looking around the manor a little before returning his gaze to Deim. "I don't think he expected me to restore it..so while these guys may not have been sent by him, I can imagine he or some representative of his will attempt to drop in eventually. I do have a suspicion, though."

Shutting down the loop of footage, Deim made the data-pad disappear again. Tilting her head curiously, she waited before nodding.'Understood, what do you wish me to do if I catch our 'snoops' again? I am certain it is within capacity to capture and restrain them with minimal injuries on their behalf if deemed necessary.'

Oboyo thought for a moment. "At this point, they're just peeping toms. I suspect they were sent by one of the businesses here to keep an eye on us and to find out who we are and why we've grown so quickly and suddenly. Still, keep me posted if you see them again. But let's keep this quiet for now, I don't want anyone to get spooked or to go actively looking for them."

Nodding, Deim filed the information as classified, sending an internal command to lock access to the requisite files aswell back in Security.'Understood, the mansion being under local scrutiny is Classified untill further notice. I shall inform you, and only you, of any further Watchers, keeping special eye out for a Representative of 'the old guard'. Any further instructions?'

Oboyo shook his head. "Nah, that's it. Thank you, Deim. I'm glad to have you here, and I'm sure the others feel safe knowing you're looking out for them. Which reminds me.." Oboyo then dropped into a forebalance stance, holding his left hand out from his face and clinching it into a fist. "I still haven't seen you in action yet. We should spar out in the courtyard sometime."

Bowing politely from the waist, Deim wore a small smile as she rose. 'Providing Security is part of my original programming, I am pleased to be able to provide it to so many.' Tilting her head, the smile grew wider as she continued in her usual soft, even tones 'Hmm, if you wish me to remodel your courtyard for you, all you had to do was ask...' One could almost imagine she had made a joke.

Oboyo laughed anyway. "I've never sparred a cyborg before, I think it'll be fun! Well, it's about time for me to go see Moit. He's insisting on building a stable in the back, but I think he's got the wrong idea about Ms. Sparkle and Spitfire. Keep up the good work, Deim. When things quiet down, we'll go head to head. Just uh..no laser beams or anything, alright?"

Tilting her head, Deim blinked 'The correct term is war-droid or Android ser you..And my internal weapon systems are mostly offline. my 'lasers' as it were are disarmed their energy re-routed to secondary pathways. Hmm, miss sparkle..Ah new recruit Twilight Sparkle, yes, a currently unknown Bioform. I do not believe a stable is sufficient no. Give Mr. Moit a stern talking to on my behalf..he might try to give me a socket to recharge next..'Again the faint impression humor was attempted, but lacked the intonation to fully be expressed.

Oboyo laughed again, bowing towards Deim before heading into the ascendalator.
