Before the attack...

After spending most of the day locked in her temporary bedroom, studying, Twilight Sparkle makes her way through the manor, holding a scroll and medium book aloft with her magic as she heads for the main hall. "Well, I can't say, this time around, that I wasn't prepared for this kind of thing... I wonder what Oboyo found out while I was asleep?"

Twilight's arrival in the main hall was just one of many. It seemed the entire manor was up and about, various attendants were quickly discussing plans with each other. Oboyo was no where to be seen, but perhaps Twilight would notice Launchpad, Egon, or Lionel among the crowd.

"Oh, wow... Big crowd, even if it's just the manor..." Despite her momentary awe at the sight of so many servants, the Magic-bearing unicorbrarian stops near Launchpad, horn glowing a faint purple as she brings both the scroll and book forward to rest in front of her. "But now's not the time to think about that, Twilight Sparkle - this is something important."

"Are these the only trackers left?" asked Lionel, who could be seen standing next to Egon and a couple of other attendants. Egon muttered and slowly nodded, "Yeah. Most of them are out with the others. This announcement was too sudden; they won't make it back in time." answered Egon, who was adjusting one of the trackers. "There. Remember: That dot is..the 'leader beacon'. I'll explain it later. It marks the Chief's position." (Oboyo)

"Hm...?" As her horn finally stops glowing, Twilight Sparkle looks over towards Lionel with a curious expression, before trotting over to listen in. "Is there a problem I wasn't aware of?"

Lionel nodded towards Egon as he took the tracker from him, adding three total in his hands. After hearing Twilight's words, Lionel turned his head towards her. "Oh, you're, um...Twi..Twilight! Right? I was just about to send someone to get you. Yes, something's going down in Truce. Lord Jinsaka will be in here shortly to explain. Excuse me, I need pass these out to certain people." Lionel then gave her a polite bow as he hurried off to complete his task. (Oboyo)

'Why am I getting the feeling it's not going to be something good...?' Nodding once, despite her thoughts, Twilight Sparkle watches Lionel leave, before teleporting back up to her room in quick order to assemble her sniper rifle, and coming out once again with it - and a small medical kit - levitating along behind her. "Better be ready to go, then."

After a few moments, the crowd began to quiet down a little as Oboyo could be seen coming down the stairs from the second floor. Once he reached the halfway point of the stairs, where one can overlook the room next to a railing, he cleared his throat and began to speak. "Alright everyone, listen up. We've just got our first mission! Just last night, a powerful ghost fell into the cleft over Guardia. He's been tormenting the farmers, but just recently he moved on to Truce itself."
"From what we know, he's quite a brawler. Interacting with the living hasn't been an issue for him. I'll be taking a team to Guardia with me to take him out..or as Egon likes to say, 'bust him'. Those who don't come with me, carry on with your usual activities but stay alert. If this guy didn't come alone, I want to be informed immediately. Are there any questions?" asked Oboyo.

As she listens to the explanation, Twilight Sparkle remains quiet in thought, until Oboyo finishes speaking. "I've got nothing I need to ask, and I'm ready to go."

Oboyo nodded towards the crowd. "Stick together and follow the plan. Above all else, don't put yourselves in danger. I'm not going to lose anyone to any ghosts ever again. Lionel, Egon, get your groups together. Launchpad, go prep the Gitmidur. We've only got one shot at hitting the spotlights folks, let's make it happen!" A round of cheering erupted as Oboyo gave one last nod and proceeded down the stairs towards the ascendalator.
Egon nodded towards Twilight, holding his bulky proton gun tightly. "Alright, Ms. Twilight. You're with my group. Launchpad will be taking Lionel and the Chief's group. Meet me out in the rear courtyard whenever you're ready, you'll be teleporting us just south of Truce. Can you handle that?" asked Egon in his usual serious manner. (Oboyo)

"I can handle it. Only thing is that you all might look a little singed when we get there, but it's no problem." Twilight Sparkle nods, making one last run to her room for more medical supplies and a map before heading out into the back courtyard.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The sun had disappeared into the west, bringing forth the starry night sky. Many of the citizens in town had retired for the night, leaving an empty coldness in the air. The wind was still, as if it were an omen. (Oboyo)
Just outside south of Truce, Egon and several individuals blinked into existance courteousy of Twilight's magic. "Alright. Remember: We're the southern block. If he tries to escape, he has to deal with us. That means -no- running ahead like a hero, got it? We have reason to believe that he's been hiding out somewhere out here. If he does try to escape, it'll be this way. Count on it." said Egon, nodding towards Twilight and a few PDF members. (Oboyo)

Nodding once as she and the group she's teleporting materialize successfully, Twilight Sparkle shakes the soot from her fur, before lying down amid the dirt with her sniper rifle held ready.

Garoth meandered his way in from the south, a few small butterflies floating about him, one came in to rest on his outstretched finger, although he did stumble a little as he passed by the group, the butterflies scattering a short ways before they returned to flying around him. He shook his pumpkin somewhat to clear it as he continued on towards the fountain. (demonicor)

Anti-Tank rifle slung over her shoulder, Lynette Bishop looks towards the interesting group, recognizing Twilight, though not much else. She heads over, curious.

There was a loud yell heard from the south. Kent ran extremey fast into the fountain area, a look of both desperation and pain on his face. Kent had one of his metal vambraces missing as you can see a long bloody gash down his right arm. In his left hand was a vial of holy water that he droped as soon as he reached the center fountain.
Kent plunged his wounded arm into the water and the look in his face softens as the water washes away some of his pain. With a much calmer attitude, Kent splashed water on his face before replacing the iron armor onto his right arm. Kent proceeded fell down on a bench to rest.

After several quiet minutes passed, a deep and cynical laughter echoed throughout the west as the ghost of a muscular saiyan glided effortlessly through the air. "Ohh! Look at all the little people sleeping! This is going to be so much -fun-!" The ghostly saiyan then spotted the side wall of the bank. "Ohh, it must be gold in there! Here, let me warm it up!" (Oboyo)
The ghostly saiyan then charged up a ball of ki, releasing it into the side of the building and blowing it open. A cloud of dust rose from the rubble, which seemed to annoy the ghostly saiyan. "Aw. It didn't catch on fire." (Oboyo)
Egon grimaced at the approach of the woman holding a rifle. "Erm--excuse me, miss. But things are going to get pretty dangerous here soon. Perhaps you should rest in Mabe Village or Rocket Town for the night." It seemed Egon didn't notice or give much thought regarding the sizable rifle she was holding. (Oboyo)

Even as she keeps her gaze focused on Truce, and the ghost attacking the bank, Twilight Sparkle's right ear flicks backward just before she swings the rifle - and scope - around to look back at Lynette with a faint smile. "Nice to see you again, Lynette, even if this isn't exactly the best time to reminisce. Coming to help?"

This seems to annoy the Brittanian catgirl quite a bit. After all, she is FLIGHT SERGEANT Lynette Bishop, and her job is to protect civilians, even though she has no clue what she's doing here. "I'm perfectly capable of dealing with trouble myself. I've been in two wars, so I don't think a little scuffle with a ghost is going to hurt me much." Saying that, she materializes her flight unit onto her legs, two sets of propeller blades, matching what some might consider an antique plane, providing her with lift. "I'm here to help, Twilight." She smiles, unslinging her own rifle. (Lynette)

Scampering towards town, a small Pichu heads to the gate of Truce, to what she thinks is a normal night. She couldn't sleep, so she's out getting a little exercise. When she comes up to Truce...she shess...Twilight holding a...Sniper Rifle? That wasn't normal..neither was the gathering she saw. She still made her way over, curious as she ever is. However, she knows not to be so curious it puts her in harm's way...she learned that the hard way (Julexa)

Garoth chuckled as Kent ran by in a hurry, though he quickly noticed the blast, the butterflies disappearing immediately with his concentration "Never a dull moment in the city of truce..." he ran past the distracted knight towards the bank on the corner of the plaza "Hi Kent, bye Kent!" (demonicor)

When Kent's eyes cleared, he noticed the commotion coming from the bank. Kent stood up and drew his sword as he approached the group. "Alright, name's Kent. Demon hunter by trade." Kent took out his shield and only winced slightly at the pain coming from the gash in his sword arm. "What's going on here?"

The ghostly saiyan grinned widely as a few employees barreled out of the building, screaming. "Hey wait! I wanted to make a deposit!" said the saiyan as he fired another blast of ki just ahead of the workers, forming a crater in the ground. It was then that the saiyan turned its head towards Garoth and Kent. "Ohh! What are Demons? Are they like Raditzes?" (Oboyo)
Egon stumbled back a little and adjusted his glasses. "Sorry. If you wish to help for the sake of assisting a friend, I won't stop you. But please, be careful. We don't want this to go sout..sour. Keep an eye on her, will you Twilight?" Egon then gazed north towards the dust cloud. "There he is. C'mon, Lionel..any day now.." (Oboyo)

"You can count on me." The sounds of shouting and an explosion force Twilight Sparkle to return her gaze - rifle, scope, and all - back towards the town and the ghostly Saiyajin. "We're going to be providing covering fire for those two, Lynette - but don't be surprised if that thing comes after us! Stay close, alright?"

Kent pulled his shield closer in front of him and backed next to Garoth. "Alright. Garoth, you've been here longer. What is that puer assini talking about? ...Raditzes? Are they like demons or something?"

Julexa got closer to the gathering, hearing an explosion, letting out a startled squeak, and quickly covering her mouth. She scampers over to Twilight and takes a seat beside her. "What's going on?" She asks, softly, as she stares at the bank and the ghostly Sayian, still not sure what's going on.

Nodding, Lynette Bishop takes aim, hovering in place to help keep steady. "A-alright, Twilight." She keeps focused, aiming at the ghost.

Garoth was too busy muttering something under his breath to reply, reaching out to line the ghost in a pink as the light in his pumpkin flickered "I have no idea, sounds like he may have misspoken raddish or something." he watched the ghost warily, ready to leap away from any retribution for his spell. (demonicor)

Watching through her rifle's scope, and remaining patient for the right moment as she is, Twilight Sparkle's horn glows faintly as she takes aim at the ghostly Saiyan. "Steady, steady..."

Julexa looks at what Twilight's aiming at. "Pichu!("Oooh..is it a game? I wanna play, I wanna pla~y!")" She says, excitedly, as she jumps up and down as she sits there. "Pii..("Can I try...huh? Huh?!")" She asks, as she squirms in anticipation.

Sadly Lynette Bishop's magic is a good deal less subtle as a casting circle appears belos her as she charges her shot in order to use her special ability. "Ready when you are, Twilight."

Alright. Laser beams. Yeah. I know what to do... I totally know what to do. With a fluid motion Kent rolled in front of Garoth. Before he had time to say anything Kent propped up his shield infront of the two. "I suggest you'd duck. It's a big shield, but standling might be a poor idea."

Garoth didn't bother to question it, ducking down beside Kent as he began to mutter again, his flames flickering some more. (demonicor)

As the blast makes contact with Kent's shield, it sends a powerful force upon it. Ghost Nappa laughed deeply and proceeded to float a little ways higher, preparing for another blast. At the same time, a helicopter could be seen hovering wobbly over Truce from the east. "Keep it steady, LP. I don't want you to wreck the Gitmidur a week after it came off the production line." said a man from within the helicopter towards its pilot. (Oboyo)
A smile formed on Egon's face. "There he is. Alright Twilight, wait for it." (Oboyo)

Even with one eye closed, and her other close to the rifle's scope, Twilight Sparkle flicks one ear towards Julexa and shakes her head. "I'm sorry, but you're likely to get hurt if you use this. Do me and Lynette a favor, though - act as our eyes and warn us if that ghost's coming our way, since we're going to be firing at it shortly..."

"Garoth, I don't know how to hit that from here. Do you have anything up your sleeve, like a bow or something?" Kent was also rather concerned about taking another blast, but he had little choice in the matter as his shield was his only source of cover at the moment. Kent prepares himself for incomming blows.

Julexa tilts her head and sighs. always the boring jobs. "Pi..("Okay....I guess I can do that..")" She says, crossing her arms with a small pout on her lips as she sits there, sulking some as she watches the ghost like a hawk, as per Twilight's demand.

Mekis rode into Truce from the north side atop his trusty steed, Estaban the mallard, continuing his quest for glory and shiny things. This moogle had a particular affixation on things that sparkled. As they moved forward, an explosion was heard in the distance, causing Estaban to stop and take a step or two back. Mekis was quick to find his long bow, a family heirloom passed down from generation to generation, and readied an arrow with the ease of years of practice. " Forward Estaban." he said, setting his semi aquatic friend in a forward motion. They came to a fountain at the center of the town, and found a man holding his arm in water. However, just as they arrived, he left joining a man with a pumpkin for a head. Then another explosion, closer this time. Mekis tensed, ready to release the first shot. Estaban remained calm through some miracle. Upon seeing the mildy transparent...well he wasn't sure what it was, but it wasn't good, as he saw flames build in its hands. He release his shot, watching as it went into, then through, the thing. " Oh dear. Estaban! Left!" The mallard moved quickly over behind the corner there. Luckily, he found that the ghost had ignored what he had done, focused on the man he had seen earlier at the fountain. Not sure what to do, Mekis prepared another arrow, waiting to see what happened next. (Mekis)

Garoth shuddered some as the blast flowed around him, still muttering under his breath, turning to face the ghost as he stood, a gout of flames ripping from the mouth of his pumpkin straight towards the ghost, though he was quickly down on his hands and knees behind the shield again, doing what amounts to panting for a pumpkinhead. (demonicor)

Lynette Bishop continues staring down the scope of her rifle, trying to play a trajectory such that her shot causes minimal collateral damage.

"Mmm, pumpkins. How about a 'bad produce discount'?!" shouted Ghost Nappa, his ki blast growing ever larger. There was no way a shield could deflect such a blast at such a size. The flames seem to just pass through the ghost. Just then, the helicopter reached a safe distance above the fountain. A man wearing a black trenchcoat leapt out of the chopper and landed on the ground, holding his left hand out. A cyan rune embedded on the hand began to glow. (Oboyo)
"Hey, big guy. Hell was down the other hallway!" shouted the man as his rune fired a hazy ball towards the ghostly saiyan. As the ball made contact, Ghost Nappa let out a grunt and released his ki blast, causing it to fire backwards into a nearby tent, vaporizing it completely. Almost instantaneously, the saiyan's body turned a brighter color. "What the--hey, no fair! Only I can my hands can have big balls!" (Oboyo)

Julexa looks wide-eyed as a helicopter came down, and someone just took out that ghost with little to no effort needed. She stared, wide-eyed, not sure what to say or do, so, she just sits there, being quiet and observing.

Kent looked up in awe as he saw a streak of fire run over he head. When the next blast of energy missed the duo Kent sheathed his sword and turned rapidly towards Garoth. "What sort of forsaken magic was that!?" the knight thrust forward his arms in attempt to grapple and most likely smack Garoth as hard as he could. "How long long have you been able to do that!?"

Garoth lets out a shout of surprise, his head plopping off to roll a short ways away while his body tried to push away the knight "I'm trying to save our lives if you don't mind! If you can't tell, theres a -ghost- trying -kill- us!" Garoth's body tried to move out of Kent's grasp to reach for his head "Story time will wait til later." (demonicor)

With a sigh, Lynette Bishop smiles apologetically at Twilight, before turning to fly back to her temporary home. "I'm sorry, Twilight, but duty calls me elsewhere. Be safe."

Mekis was mildy surprised when he saw the foe knocked back by a blast from that man's hand. Obviously, that man knew what he was doing. "Estaban. To the man in the coat." Upon reaching him Mekis asked him "Greetings stranger. How I might I be of assistance here?" (Mekis)

"What on Mechonis is causing all this racket!" Helios yelled as he hovered into the square from the north. "We could hear it all the way up at..." He paused as he realised that everyone was fighting some sort of energy-using ghost. "Oh, uhhh..." He flew back north after a moment. "M85! Hostile detected! Hostile detected!" Could be heard echoing back down the street as Helios ran away.

Twilight's shot soared through the air until it passed through Ghost Nappa's body, causing him to feel a strange sensation. "Huh?" mumbled the ghostly saiyan as he put his hand next to the hole on his body. More than that, he could no longer move his hands through his own body, in a ghostly manner of speaking. (Oboyo)
"How..what did you do?!" growled the saiyan as he flew head first into the ground as a means to sneak up behind the human wearing the trenchcoat, but in the end he felt himself collide on the ground like any normal person. "Ow." said Ghost Nappa, not feeling any real pain but still a strange sensation. (Oboyo)
The man smirked as he watched the ghost plant its face in the ground. He turned to and gave a simple nod towards the moogle, not wanting to put the creature in any danger. The man then dropped into a combat stance and spin kicked the ghostly saiyan as he began to stand up, sending it closer towards Garoth and Kent. "The world of the living is no place for you. You'll find that your body is just as tangible as ours now." (Oboyo)

Simultaneously, Twilight Sparkle rises to her hooves and trots closer, loading another round into the rifle with her magic as she watches the now-tangible ghost. "Normally, bullets wouldn't even hurt ghosts, but this just happens to be a really bad time for you to run into the personal student of Princess Celestia, doesn't it?"

Julexa scratches the back of her head and just watches. "Pi..?(Um, what's going on here?")" She asks, almost as if it was an afterthought. She looks at the ghost, thwe damaged bank, and everyone around it fighting, but it just hasn't clicked inside Julexa's head yet that there was a battle going on.

The M85 thundered into the square from the north and glared around, looking for what spooked Helios. It narrowed in on the ghost that was just shot and kicked around like a rag doll, but was still getting back up. With a menacing growl, it powered up it's armcannon and began to take aim before firing an ether bomb at the ghost.
"Destroy that thing, M85." Helios fired a laser beam at the ghost for good measure while the M85 launched an ether bomb at it.

Kent let Garoth go in frustration. "We'll talk about your atonement later..." Kent grunted as he went back to his task. His shield was once again grasped in his hand, and his sword was pulled out of it's black sheath once again as the knight drew his signature weapon. His right arm still felt pain as he strained his muscles to grip the sword tightly, but for right now, Kent didn't mind pain. turned towards the monster.
"Hear me, beast. I am Kent, exiled knight. Once I was called Sir of the Legio Aurea. But, a hundred times since I was called slayer. Fear my wrath." Kent ran towards the monster and threw his shield at it. Without looking to see if his shield hit the ghost, Kent grapped his sword with both hands and held it above his head, ready to swing at the unholy apperation with full force.

Garoth crawled his way over to his head "What the hell did I do wrong to need atonement for?" he grabbed his pumpkin and placed it firmly back on top of his shoulders, looking toward the battle and wondering if he has anything to help without causing collateral damage (demonicor)

Noticing the others nearby heeding his words, Oboyo stepped back a good ways away from the ghostly saiyan. From there, he observed those who would plunge into a fight for others without concern for their own safety. "Grr. Alrig--" started Ghost Nappa until the ether bomb slams his face. Parts of his ghostly body had begun to decay. "--ght. No more--" again started Ghost Nappa until several arrows pierced his chest. (Oboyo)
"--pretendy fun--" yet again started Ghost Nappa until Kent's shield knock him back and his sword cut off his left arm. "--games!!" The ghostly saiyan than screamed loudly as he built up his power level, then split it evenly into three smaller versions of himself. "Look! I'm me!" said the middle Ghost Nappa, racing towards the M85 at an uncanny speed. (Oboyo)
"I'm Baldshine!" said the left Ghost Nappa as it lunged towards Kent to tackle him. "And I'm Vetega Junior--no, no. Um. I'll be..Penguin!" growled the right Ghost Nappa as it weaved away from the group and held its right hand out towards the moogle, firing tinier ki blasts towards it. (Oboyo)

"Twilight, don't get too close. We don't want to draw its attention this way." said Egon, keeping his proton gun aimed forward. "Wish the Chief had a clearer plan for this part. Is he just going to pummel it or are we going to trap it?" asked the scientist aloud. (Oboyo)

"...you've got to be KIDDING me." With a groan, Twilight Sparkle fixes the trio of ghosts with a reproachful glare, before moving towards one with the intent of vanquishing it with her magic. "Come here, you dumb ghost. I'm putting you down." However, the Magic-bearing unicorn doesn't exactly get close to the third ghost, as she levitates parts of a submachine gun out of one saddlebag and quickly assembles them before opening fire.

Garoth shrugged and began to run at Kent as he muttered a few words, right foot catching fire as he reached the beleaguered knight, lifting his flaming leg and aiming his foot straight for where the ribs appear to be on the ghost "Get off him! Gah!" he sat down and began to pat at the flames on his foot to put them out "Damn that stings..." (demonicor)

The M85 saw it's enemy split into three smaller targets, one of them dashing towards it. It roared and charged at the ghost as well, it's pincer locking together into it's buzz-saw and beginning to spin. It swung at the ghost just before the two met, positioning the buzz-saw so that the ghost would run into it, even though the energy ring had yet to form around the blade. (Helios)
Helios follows the M85 as it charges. "Wait, you need to recharge before you... Oh, dammit." He moves over to the side to get a clear shot at the ghost as it and the M85 become locked in combat.

"Of course it stings. It. Is. Magic." Kent said, getting up. The knight held his sword by his side as he looked at Garoth. "And umm... Thanks," Kent said awkwardly to the Pumpkinhead. Without a moment for Garoth to respond Kent ran to pick up his shield and turned his whole body back to the sliver of the ghost. His silver sword was in his hand itching for blood.

Julexa feels left out, so, she scampers into the city, and looks to pounce on the nearest ghost. The Pichu still thinks this is all part of the game, and she wants to take part in it.

Mekis had not expected the beast to split into three. He watched as one flew in his direction, flinging miniature fire balls. It only took Mekis a moment to think of a plan. He jumped of his steed, saying "Estaban. Go airborne!" Within seconds, Estaban was gaining the needed speed to get airborne whilst Mekis stayed on foot. Using his small size and natural agility, he avoid several blasts. However, they came closer with each blow. Between his running and jumping and rolling about, he fired an arrow oor two, unsure as to whether they were reaching his target. Then a blast hit his foot, catching it on fire. ?Oh dea- Owww!? He ran to the fountain and jumped in, quenching the flame. He climb to the rim of the fountain only to find a fireball headed straight at his face. He jumped to his right, hoping he was out of the way in time. Emote could feel the heat from what he assumed was a magical projectile. He never had liked mages much. (Mekis)

Kahleen casually approached the chaos that settled on Truce, though this was becoming a normal thing, she took some interest in the fact that the chaos was closer to her entrance. There wasn't much time to plan a way to cover her direction so Kahleen reached into her pocket and grabbed a hand full of smoke bombs, nerve gas bombs, snapper-doodles, and perhaps even some confetti. She threw it into the chaos, hopefully before others might have seen her coming.
*POP!-Pffffff-YAY!* A clutter of colorful gasses and clouds of smoke swirled about the area. Kahleen took note of Kent and Garoth before the swirls of smoke consumed them and maybe others. "They're together? Odd..." Kahleen simply said to herself, smiling proudly.

Garoth grumbled some as he stood back up, quickly having doused the flames "It probably have hurt worse without magic..." he half-ran/limped after the knight as more words issued from his pumpkin, sparks climbing the edge of the blade, and soon the whole weapon is wreathed in a white flame "huh... that's new." the pumpkinhead stopped nearby to catch his breath. (demonicor)

Me, or rather, the original Ghost Nappa in a way, bumped into the M85's saw blade head on. "Ow." it said as it started to form a ki ball in its hands, but was interrupted as it was flattened by the M85's charge. It doesn't look like it's going to get off anytime soon. (Oboyo)
Baldshine flew back as Garoth's fiery kick met its solar plexis. Not wasting a moment, Baldshine warped in and out of existance behind the pumpkinhead, raising its foot up high to perform a drop kick upon him. "I'm back!" said Baldshine, thinking he was clever. (Oboyo)
Bullets soared around and occasionally through Penguin as he tried to close in Melkis, but was intercepted by the pichu's pounce. Penguin muttered and attempted to fling the pichu away with its musclely legs. (Oboyo)

Julexa giggles. "Pi!("Giddy up ghostie!")" Says the Pichu as she gets kicked around by him. Then, she sees Twilight, lets out an alarmed squeak, and hightails it out of there. She doesn't want to become roasted Pichu--she'd kind of like to avoid that if at all possible.

For a few moments, the unicorn stops firing her SMG as her horn starts glowing red and seemingly bursts into flames. However, the magically-spawned fire - instead of burning her - solidifies into a medium-sized orb which gets launched at Penguin. "Here's a reminder for you: Fight with Twilight Sparkle and you're bound to get BURNED. BADLY. Take this! Fire 2!"
Once the glow and heat permeating her horn dies down, Twilight Sparkle directs her magic towards Julexa to pull the small Pichu to safety on her back, even as she resumes firing her SMG at Penguin.

"Well, that was rather anticlimactic." Helios hovers closer to look at the squished ghost before looing around and spotting Egon standing at the south gate. "We guess that we should take this thing over to him." The M85 nods and picks up the limp ghost. The two head over to Egon. "Hey, special delivery." The ghost is uncerimoniously dropped at Egon's feet.

Kahleen wondered if that was overkill on the dusting of tracks. With a shrug, Kahleen casually walked into the dissipating clouds and rains of colorfully shredded papered confetti and positioned herself in between Garoth and Kent. "So, uh..." she paused trying to see what they were looking at before she arrived and continued, "What are we looking at here?" She stretched looking about the rubble scattered from the bank's west wall.
Glancing about the rubble, oblivious to whats going on, Kahleen spotted an arm just laying there. "No friggan way!" she said like it was an opened christmas present. Without a moment to lose, Kahleen snatched the hand and placed it into her pocked. Is that normal? "You guys had a party with dismembered arms as party favors? Is it a surpise party? Is that why I wasnt told? You two are just amazing!" she spat out in a jittery fashion.
Kahleen looked at Garoth as if to give him a formal greeting but whats this? He was about to get hammered buy a bald brute! A yellowish shimmer ran across Kahleen's eyes. A telekinetic grip would possibly hold the brutes foot in place while another shimmer would run across her eyes but hold over her pupils. A second telekinetic band would hold the baldie's other foot, acnchoring him in place. "There uh...You got something on ya."

Mekis had managed to avoid the fireball. He looked down, realizing he had also somehow managed to fly. Only upon looking up did he realize that Estaban had saved him by grabbing his outstretched arms. ?Good Estaban!? he said with a smile, ?Now go back down. There is a villain to defeat and loot to be taken!? Landing on his feet, he took advantage of the thing being distracted by what appeared to be a large yellow mouse. Mekis fired a volley of shots before the foe began firing at him again.

Garoth grumbled some as he stood back up, quickly having doused the flames "It probably have hurt worse without magic..." he turned as the ghost shouted, bringing his hands up to block the blow that never came. He would have blinked if he could, but instead glared at the ghost as more words issued from his pumpkin, turning to the knight, sparks climbing the edge of Kent's blade, and soon the whole weapon was wreathed in a white flame "huh... that's... new." the pumpkinhead bent over again to catch his breath and wait for his friend to finish the ghost off.

With Kent's blade letting of a holy glow of white fire, the knight ran foward at the anchored simian ghost. With Kahleen having somehow arrived out of nowhere (It's always so cute when she does that!) and their foe anchored to the ground, Kent was free to get in a hit. With his arm held back for momentum, he thrusted the large wooden shield's edge right into the spirit's throat.

Egon rose his head from his palms, as he apparently dug it into them after Twilight took off. He rose his eyebrow as he scrutinized 'Me', but the moment was interrupted as 'Me' shouted "Enough!" into his face and quickly bolted back towards the north. (Oboyo)
Penguin seemed to be having a hell of a time dealing with Twilight's gunmagics and Melkis' arrows. Rather than attempt to take one or the other out, Penguin growled and shouted 'Enough!' as it bolted away from their fire to reach the center of the fountain. (Oboyo)
"What the crap?" asked Baldshine as Kahleen held his foot in place and Kent slammed his shield into him. Throughout the fight, the effects of the Spirit Rune had begun to cease. The Three Ghost Nappas became intangible once again, and what remained of them united once more just in front of the fountain. (Oboyo)
"You.." mumbled Ghost Nappa as he weakly held his hand out towards the man wearing the trenchcoat. "I should have taken you out first." The man's face was didn't waiver as the dying..dead saiyan approached him. The man reached into his coat and pulled out a three-piece custom staff, snapping it together into one. He held his left hand out once more, the cyan rune glowing brightly before firing another hazy blast at him. (Oboyo)
Tangible once more, Ghost Nappa grimaced as the man spun his staff vigorously, utilizing the momentum into a powerful strike and knocking the ghostly saiyan down. "I have no pity for you. Yes, you exist right now because you had something important to do before your death. But you have to learn to let go. Life goes on, and nothing you can do can change that, dead or alive." The man then held his left hand out over the ghostly saiyan, the rune on his hand glowing brightly. (Oboyo)

With Julexa secured on her back, Twilight Sparkle stops firing as the glow around her horn fades out, before trotting over to watch the final blow. Her weapons, meanwhile, are already disassembled and stored in her saddlebags.

The M85 yelped and fell over at the ghost shouted at Egon and dashed through it's legs. "Oh dear. M85, are you alright?" Helios hovered down to look at the dazed death machine before turning to look at Egon. "Terribly sorry about that, we didn't expect that."

Kahleen still wasnt sure what was going on but it was clear this was not a traditional party and to add weight to that particular disappointment, they would be met with a foe. And if THAT wasnt bad enough, this foe had the ugliest mustache. The man joined two others into one but still looked just as ugly as before "This is too much! MUCH too much!" she said in terror. The glow in her eyes brightened as she tried to pull out patches of the man's mustache.
Kahleen wasnt sure how to proceed. The shimmer faded out and her eyes returned to their black void-like selves. The drawback of using telekinesis was settling in. Kahleen was already worn down some. She sat down and assumed Kent, with his super awesome sword of white fire, could finish the ugly man off. "Its just sad..." The moogle chimed in and says, "That we're not at the bar getting drinks?" Kahleen shook her head. "No...That he has to die with that thing on his face..."

Julexa hugs Twilight's neck in thanks, and then she moves to gently slide off of Twilight's back, landing with a soft plop on her bottom. Then, she scurries over to the gathering, listening in on the conversation and letting it all soak in. After a few seconds: "...Pi!("...Wait a minute...was that something I should've been fighting?") She asks, purely as an afterthought...once again.

Kent's sword stopped glowing and Kent looked at Garoth facepalming. "Oh yeah umm...Yeah. That...Thanks..." Kent sheathed the sword, a bit disapointed by his own inability to use it. He'd have to work out his sword techniques again. He'd grown so defensive in his tactics these days. It was almost embarrasing. Then Kent noticed Kahleen sit down, looking rather weary.
Kent dropped his shield and got down on his knees, wrapping an arm around her. He, as per usual when talking to her, had no clue who she was talking to or what she was talking about, but still felt a need to be there. "Hey, are you okay?" Kent said, trying to get her to turn her head so he could look into her eyes. "You seem a bit shaken up. I don't like seeing you upset."

Garoth sighed as he got back to his feet, looking over at the man in the trenchcoat "Looks like... he's got it." he made his way over to Kent and Kahleen, kneeling nearby, his pumpkin looking about ready to topple off at the slightest shove again "You two, alright?" (demonicor)

By this point the sounds of heart beats echoed throughout Truce. It hadnt reached the forte it would take to push Kahleen in any direction but it was noticeable more than normal. "Are you just going to go home, be a good little girl, and suck from a bottle? Try to go outside the 'daddy's' rules." "Shut up I'm fine." The moogle was standing there looking at Kahleen for sometime now. "Yep. Screw this. I'll be at the bar..."
Kahleen looked at Kent. "Sorry, not you, the moogle." she said pointing at...Well there wasn't actually anything there. "But yeah, I'm great!" she said smiling. The smile would expand into a yawn. "Just tired, ya know." she gestured in Garoth's direction. "So, what was that all about hmm?" she pointed in the direction of the horribly mustached man. Kents heart beat was rattling Kahleen's mind and it was starting to become harder to ignore.

A cyan glow began to encompass the remains of Ghost Nappa's ghostly material. "I wasn't..I was just suppose to watch out for..ah, who am I kidding? He handled himself just fine. I just wanted to kill as many of those people as I could. Heh heh heh. And it was aweeeesooome." (Oboyo)
Gradually, Ghost Nappa's remains transformed into a cyan energy that flowed into the cyan rune on the man's left hand. At the same time, a two groups of various people arrived from the west and from the south. "Is it over?" "Did we get it?" "Where'd it go?" were among the questions asked amidst the crowd. The man with the rune then jumped up on a bench and held his left hand up high. (Oboyo)
"All of you, listen to me! What you just witnessed was the first of many spirits to come. Our world is on a timer, facing an imminent invasion. You are each exceptional combatants, but unless we work together, there is no hope of defeating such an enemy." (Oboyo)
"I am Oboyo Jinsaka, and I have formed a group to do just that. You are all welcome to join me and the Paranormal Deliverance force as we prepare for that day. Let this victory be a taste of what's to come when that day arrives!" shouted Oboyo, sending the nearby PDF members into a roar.

"Well, that was stirring but we really must head back. We are wiring up the main console and it is a delicate process that requires our full attention." Helios strains a little bit as he pulls the M85 up off of the ground. "Good luck, Oboyo." The duo headed off north.

Julexa wonders if she joins she'll be able to have more fun like this. Oh, what the hell, why not? The Pichu scampers over to the tall man and gently tugs on his pant leg, craning her neck to look up at him, as if expecting something.

Kahleen took note of the shouting man's inventory. "I could die any day. If I died tomorrow, would I be okay with this? No...There's stil to many things I dont own." she quietly whispered to herself. Kahleed placed a couple of fingers on Kent's shoulders and awkwardly pulled herself to her feet. She put one hand into her pocket checking on the night's loot. She looks at the two, Garoth and Kent. "What do ya think?"

Garoth glanced up at the man in the trench coat, sighing and shaking his pumpkin before standing and resting a hand on Kahleen's shoulder "I think we need to get you somewhere and take care of one of the most prominent issues of nightwalkers..." he chuckles, though his heartbeat is somewhat quickened at the idea of her taking it too far... well, maybe it wouldn't come to that. (Demonicor)

Kent helped Kahleen to her feet. He fould think of a few answers, but fell silent. What sort of magic was that man using? As much as Kent wanted to look for the good in all people, he felt strongly for what he believes in. He nodded to Kahleen and made his way over to Oboyo. "You think that using magic like that is going to stop the end of the world? Damn ignortant fools! How do you not see that it's people like you that make stuff like the creature we fought possible to begin with?"

Oboyo couldn't seem to hear any individual voices among the crowd, as the cheering was overwhelming. At the same time, the helicopter from before could be seen hovering above Truce and gradually descending closer towards the fountain with a rope ladder dropped down. Oboyo nodded towards two faces in particular before grabbing on to the rope. "If you wish to protect this world, meet me in Shrike! Fate is -not- unchangeable!"
As Oboyo and the Gitmidur began to ascend up into the sky, a man from the crowd approached Kent and slapped him hard across the face. "Listen to yourself. Don't accuse others of being ignorant when it is you who knows nothing. What you witnessed was not 'magic'. There is a logical explanation for everything if you just take the time to find them! Think about that before you jump to conclusions accusing the only hope that this world has."

After willing herself to calm down, Twilight Sparkle trots over to Julexa to levitate the Pichu onto her back, then towards Egon and the rest of the PDF still waiting for her near the south gate, horn glowing all the while as she prepares a mass-teleportation spell back to the manor. "Well, THAT was an interesting first run..." Of course, she also makes sure to pick up her other supplies before leaving Truce with the group.

Garoth watched with growing trepidation and listened to her voice wavering between her own and Sian's, grabbing Kahleen's hand, he began dragging her along behind him southward away from the fountain "Right, fluids... ohhhh lots of fluids... for us both. Come on." his hearbeat raced even faster as he made his way to the inn and bar. (demonicor)

Julexa tightly holds onto Twilight's neck as she's taken to another location. She wonders what's in store for her when she gets to the new location that she's headed.

Kent rubbed his cheek, glaring at the man who approached him. "You're all the same. Forsake my soul you're all the same!" Kent turned away and began walking, resisting the urge to cut that man down for striking him and then promoting unholy arts. As he walked away, he noticed the scroll Kahleen handed him. Kent opened it and skimmed ti with a grim face. "Damn my soul. Damn my soul..." With that, Kent walked away.
