A cool wind blows through the streets of Truce from the north, heralding the arrival of two figures at it's gate. In the lead is a large and heavily scarred Gigantos, Tyrranis. He scans the streets with an odd, almost reminiscent fondness before turning back to the other figure following him. "Come, the home is not farther away. We can rest once we reach it."
Alcatraz kicks a rock, his hands in his pocket. He was probably trying to act cool and unimpressed. "Truce eh? For a guild made for people who hunt people down? Ironic, ain't it?" Alcatraz chuckled at his own joke. Or as much as a pumpkinhead could chuckle. He nods to Tyrannis. "As usual, you lead the way, big guy."
Lorastine reaches Truce from the south, her mind a little clearer after spending time over at the Monastery. While she did feel welcome staying there, she did miss her place here in Truce. Her blonde hair blew slightly back as she passed the music man and his monkey, giving him a tip of a gold coin. He tipped his hat to her and continued to play as she smiled on her way north.
She almost reaches the corner of where the house would be. Lorastine was looking forward to finally being able to relax where she considered home with her friends. In the distance she noticed, a familiar tall figure accompanied by a pumpkinhead. Her smile widened as she waved to them, "Tyr! Its so good to see you!" she called.
Tyrranis blinks as he turns his attention towards whoever is calling his name, and smiles as he recognizes the familiar hylian. "Ah, Lorastine. It is good to see you once more. I trust you've been taking care of yourself?" A moment passes before the giganto snaps, and motions to Alcatraz. "This is another member of our group, Lorastine. Lora, this is Alcatraz, I'd like him to start living here with us in Truce."
Alcatraz holds out his hand towards Lorastine, as Tyrannis called her. Except, it didn't look like he was looking for handshake. His hand was formed into a fist, yet extremely non-threateningly. "Sup? I'm here for that Knight order that Tall, Scarred, and Burly was telling me about. You another person who met Kyubey?"
Lorastine smiles a little awkwardly when asked if shes been taking care of herself. "I've been managing." she replies as she turns her attention to Alcatraz. His gesture with his fist held out confuses her a bit, unsure what she was supposed to do. "Its a pleasure to meet you, Alcatraz," she says as she kind of clasps his fist in her hand and shakes it. "Yes I made a contract with Kyuubey too."
Tyrranis smiles as the two greet each other, before turning his attention towards the residential district. "Come Lora, let us continue this back at the house. I have been away for a while now, and wish to see Crossroads again." The giganto turns and begins walking into Truce's residential area, trusting the two other wishborn to follow behind him.
Alcatraz was not sure whether or not Lorastine was just being silly, or was legitimately confused. Luckily there was no concerned expression on the pumpkinheads face from her reaction. It was one of the joys of coming from his neck of the woods. As Tyrannis began moving, Alcatraz held back a bit to talk to the new girl. "So, ya come here often?" he asked. A flame behind his left eye seemed to go out for a split second before returning to normal.
Lorastine follows behind Tyrranis and alongside Alcatraz. She also hasn't seen Crossroads in a while either after their ordeal at Crysta. She wondered how her friend has been holding up, hopefully a lot better then herself. Snapping out of her thoughts she looks over at the pumpkinhead as he asked his question. "Well... umm I live here sometimes so I guess I do come her often.." she replies realizing how awkward she was being, embarrassing herself. "Where are you from?" she asks quickly changing the subject.
Tyrranis steps up to the door of Crossroads' house, chuckling to himself about the conversation going on behind him. He reaches out to open the door, but stops short, staring at the door handle. There was blood on it. Tyrranis' eyes go wide as he opens the door and calls into the house. "Crossroads? Are you okay?" Stepping in, the giganto notices another blood smear on the wall leading into the bathroom, and he begins to get panicked. "Crossroads?!"
"Brigantes. Town looks a lot like Halloween. Unfortunately, my boys there don't take too kindly to the local authorities." Alcatraz gestured to the carved gang sign in the side of his head. Of course, then he heard you yell. Alcatraz spent no time hesitating, his switchblade knife fell directly into his hands and he rushed in behind the giganto, noticing the blood. "Crossroads is your girl, right? I'm sure she's alright. Girl can handle herself if she's anything like you."
Lorastine remembered being in Brigantes once before, but it was such a long time ago. Tyrranis' yell made her jump and the blood finally caught her sight. "Oh no.." she said bringing her hand to her mouth. "Cross!" she called echoing the giganto. There was so much blood. What could have happened here? She thinks to herself as she starts to search other areas of the house.
Tyrranis doesn't stay inside the hall for long, instead bolting into the house and checking into rooms as he makes his way in, calling out each time he enters a new room. "Cross! Cross are you okay?!" The giganto's voice is getting more and more panicked as he goes, until he eventually he disappears into one of the back rooms itself. In the bathroom sink, some more blood has been spilled, though it seems to have been watered down before it dried. A small wooden box has been dumped out on the shelves on the living room, and a Grief Seed sits on the coffee table, acting as an ominous observer to the events inside the home.
Alcatraz felt lost in this place. While the others might be familiar with the house, he was going into unfamiliar territory. Though, with how their memories could be corrupted by the sights here, he wasn't sure who had it better. "What should I be looking for? I ain't exactly a detective."
Lorastine while searching she decides to follow the blood trail into the bathroom. She creeps slowly into the room and pauses with a gasp at the sight of the bloodied sink. Her eyes widen at the sight, her thoughts turned to the worst. "TYRANNIS!" she shouts, "The sink! Its covered in blood!" Her hearts starting to race as her mind is trying to piece together so many scenarios in her head. "I-is Cross dead?!" she blurts out.
Tyrranis emerges from Crossroads' room, his face grim and his fists clenched. "Crossroads is missing." He doesn't stop from there, already walking back towards the front door. "I am going to check the cafe. Lora, look around the house with Alcatraz for any notes she might have left."
Alcatraz was silent. He didn't have anything he could add. He was the newcomer to the group. He had no idea the emotional significance that Crossroads had to these people, though, he could only imagine how much of a shock seeing their house torn up like this was. He Went to look around the house, on every flat surface he could find. Seeing in that dark wasn't helpful when you didn't know what kind of thing you were looking for.
Lorastine removes herself from the bathroom feeling a little queasy for staying in there. After Tyrranis leaves, she notices Alcatraz has begun his search around the house. "Give me a second to recuperate. I'm sorry, this is just overwhelming." she informed him as she went to the living room to sit down. She sits down she notices the box that was spilled out. There must have been a fight or something to cause off of this chaos. As she looks around more a tiny seed catches her eye on the table. She leans over and picks up the seed, "A Grief seed?" Lorastine says as she examines it, "Where did it come from?"
Tyrranis appears back at the door soon after he left, breathing heavily. His face is pale as he utters his next words. "Crossroads is not in the cafe. And..." He looks back over his shoulder, before speaking again. "I sensed a witch close to us. It seems to be moving away, but..." He grits his teeth and turns fully, angry now. "I'm going to hunt it down." With that, he steps out of the house.
Alcatraz seemed to be concerned for the rest of the group. But, Tyrannis seemed the most worried of all of them. "You want help with that big guy or... do you wanna have it as stress relief by yourself?" Alcatraz knew that he wouldn't want to in himself alone, but Tyrannis was the kind of guy who liked beating things up as a way to cope. Nobody could blame him.
Lorastine stands up when Tyrranis comes back. After hearing Crossroads wasn't at the Cafe she was starting to think her scenarios were starting to become true. "Oh! I found this grief... seed..." she says as he's leaving but hes gone before she could finish her sentence. She looked down at the seed in her palm then at her own soul gem, its yellow crystal was dark and twisting with its dark tendrils of corruption. She needed this seed for herself, she was going to hold onto it for now. "Lets go, I know he likes doing things alone, but we're a team and you're a part of it now. I won't allow myself to just stand here. Come on." Lorastine says ushering Alcatraz towards the door following behind you.
