Stopping for a moment, Tyrranis uncorks his bat and taps out his Soul Gem, seeking to use the crystallized form to better get a track of where the Witch is. However, when that tumbles out, a grief seed follows it, causing Tyrranis to frown. "Alcatraz, Lorastine, collect up any grief seeds you might have and make sure they're fully used. Once that's done, Alcatraz, you will take them to Kyuubey, understood? This trip could be long and dangerous, we have no time for a rebirth in the middle of everything'

Lorastine touches her necklace bound soul gem and transforms into her angelic form. With her wings she would be able to gain a better view of the surroundings. She flew only a few feet above Tyrranis to stay within range of each other, keeping an eye out for the witch they were tracking. Tyrranis' message to Alcatraz reminded her of the grief seed she found at the house, but it would probably be better left to mention afterwards.

Alcatraz takes the grief seeds. "Alright then. I'll make sure that Kyuu... the cat thing gets them." He places them in his pocket and looks at his soul gem. "...of course that reminds me... I was never exactly told how I'm supposed to find him again. Where does he usually hang out?"

"Walk in a direction. He will find you. It just cannot be in the direction of the witch. Too much danger that way." Tyrranis peers up to Lorastine, and shrugs before handing Alcatraz the seed he had. "After you find him, run back to us. We might be in trouble." With that, Tyrranis turns and begins walking away from Truce, in the direction of the Witch's signal.

Lorastine hesitates looking back at Alcatraz as he is sent off by Tyrranis then at the seed in her hands. "Alcatraz wait." she says swooping down. The hylian uses her seed to purify her soul gem back to its pure golden state. "Take this to Kyuubey as well, I.. found it back at the house." she says before turning back to follow Tyrranis. "Wish us luck." she adds with a flap of her wings and becomes airborne after her friend.

Alcatraz nods. He turns almost directly opposite of Tyrranis and Lorastine and begins walking, blowing a bit of smoke out of his mouth. He still needed some supplies. As a more noble looking man walked by, Alcatraz took the sack of gold by their belt with a subtle motion while walking by them. "Alright. Day 1 as a knight. Go!" With that, Alcatraz began to sprint out of Truce. Old habits are hard to break.

Tyrranis steps quickly along the dirt path out of the peaceful city, but looks like he's ready to break out into a run at any moment. After walking a sufficient amount of distance, Tyrranis turns around to look and see if Alcatraz had followed him. Seeing no sign of the pumpkinhead, Tyrranis slows and stops, before squatting down. "Give me a moment, Lorastine." There's an odd tone to Tyrranis' voice, almost like the giganto is scared.

Lorastine lowers herself down beside him. "Tyrranis? I... found something back at the house. It was.. a grief seed on the table." She said being cautious with her words. "I don't know why it was there, but I used it and gave it to Alcatraz before he left." she showed him her purified soul gem as she said it. Lorastine has never seen Tyrranis shaken up like this before, so used to his calm way of dealing with things.

Tyrranis fills his lungs and empties them several times, while clenching and unclenching his fists. "This is all my fault." Dropping his bat for the moment, the giganto puts his hands up this face, gripping at his own head to try and stop breathing raggedly. After a few moments, he seemingly calms before standing back up, collecting his weapon again. "Good job Lora. We must remain clean. No one can save her if they are the enemy." Looking resolved once more, Tyrranis nods and begins heading back down the road, going south.

Lorastine frowned a little sensing he must be hurting quite a lot considering Crossroads is missing. "We'll find her." she said catching back up to him, beating her wings. "We will not let anything bad come to Cross." She gripped the bow in her hands tight, trying to stick by her words and hoping she wasn't wrong.

Night falls around the Knights Magi as they stalk their prey south of Truce. Tyrranis keeps himself quiet as he walks, thinking of whatever battle may lay ahead instead of the disappearance of Crossroads. The signal for the witch they hunt however doesn't stop, instead keeping on a southern path until it hits the lush greens of the Veldt where, for some reason it stops.

Tyrranis steps into the dark wilderness and looks around, growling. "The Witch is around here somewhere Lora. Keep yourself on guard. Do you have a light that you could shed for us?"

Lorastine looks around the forest, her wings giving off a really faint light, bright as a glowstick. "Other then my wings natural light, I can try something I learned from the monastery." She replies as she recites an incantation "Illumante" into her hand and a small orb of bright light filled her open hand. She held it up and let it go lightly leaving it to drift in place by her side. "How's that?" Lorastine asks as the soft white light illuminates the trees in view casting deep shadows behind them.

Tyrranis smiles up at Lorastine as she sheds more light on the area. "That's good. Thank you Lor-" The rest of Tyrranis' words are cut off as SOMETHING barrels into him from the side, taking even the giganto off his feet. Suddenly, another reaction appears to the Knights, a Yoma!

With a snarling roar, Tyrranis fights against the creature who had sunk it's teeth into his flesh. Hefting, he's able to lift the beast and throw it back several paces, revealing the monster's form. The Yoma was odd, almost like a man who had his limbs twisted backwards into what a dog should look like. Heavy bone plates cover it's body, and red eyes gleam out from the underside of it's jaw as the monster scratches at the ground, and lets a roar from it's massive jaws.

Lorastine gasps when Tyrannis is jumped by the beast from the shadows. She quickly fumbled her bow for a moment before regaining her composure, drawing an arrow of light, aiming it at the creature. "Are you ok?!" she asks quickly worried for the giganto. The yoma was terrifying to look at, wondering if her arrows would even be able to pierce that bone armor, worth a shot. With a quick pull back she let loose an arrow at the creature.

Tyrranis grins ferally at the monster as it roars him, and he clenches his soul gem tight before calling on his magic form. After the flash of darkness that accompanies Tyrranis entering his state, the arrow Lorastine fired streaks in from the sky and slams into the beast, cracking the plate there and causing the monster to give of a roar of pain. Tyrranis surges forwards now, and slams his hands onto either side of the Yoma's mouth, his powerful arms straining as he tries to force the yoma's jaw open even further. "Lorastine! Shoot it in the mouth!" The beast fights back against Tyrranis, thrashing it's jaws about in an attempt to free itself from the giganto's grip before something almost impossibly fast darts out. From nowhere, tail sprouts from the Yoma's back, almost like a scorpion's stinger, and rams itself into Tyrranis' shoulder.

Lorastine focus's her aim on the creatures mouth before the movement behind it got her attention. The tail of the yoma slamming into Tyrranis' shoulder caused her to flinch slightly throwing her aim off. The arrow flew just glancing off the side of the creature's head. "Tyrranis!" she called out, worried for him as she pulled back another shot focusing on the mouth.

"Let him go!" Lorastine shouted as she fired an arrow aimed at its mouth.

The Yoma gives a strangled roar as Lorastine's arrow rams into the roof of it's mouth, And Tyrranis grunts, jamming his hand into the teeth on the lower side of the yoma's jaw and his elbow into the upper side. With his now free hand, Tyrranis grabs the arrow and jams it further into the beast's skull before digging it around and snapping the haft off inside. A few moments pass as the creature wobbles on it's feet before the yoma crashes to the ground unmoving.

Tyrranis pulls his bleeding arm from the monster's mouth, and then pulls it's stinger out of his shoulder with a grunt. After a moment, he looks around and frowns as he sense the witch begin to move away. "A trap. It was going to try and kill us if we became weak here. Lora, collect the grief seed from the Yoma. We will depart as soon as you have it." With that. Tyrranis dismisses his magical form and kneels down, focusing on clearing the pain from his head.

Lorastine gingerly approached the yoma's body, cautious around it. "Are you ok? That stinger didn't have any poison did it?" she asks as she goes to retrieve the seed from the creature. "You should let me get a good look at that before we go after the witch." she says inspecting the seed between her finger and thumb. She pocketed the seed away and walked over to the Giganto to see if she could get a look at his injury.

Tyrranis reaches up to the hole in his shoulder, and squeezes, causing a dark, black fluid to ooze out. "I will live. Crossroads is in danger. We have to move." Standing again without letting Lorastine examine his injury, Tyrranis stubbornly begins walking again, heading towards the fleeing signal of the witch.

Lorastine closes her hand as Tyrranis moves away from her to follow the witch. "I hope its nothing." she replies as she follows behind Tyrranis, keeping up with his pace. She kept an eye on his wound as they moved, it was making her paranoid and worried, but Tyrranis wasn't going to let her inspect it. She just hopes it doesn't end up becoming a problem when they're in trouble.
