Dozens and dozens of people filled the main hall of the Jinsaka Manor, which had been retrofitted into a banquet room to host a party for the last get-together of the Paranormal Deliverance Force. Oboyo could be seen wearing a tuxedo standing next to a podium with Elenor. Other familiar faces were scattered across the room at various tables, most wearing their usual apparel but some appearing a little more formal.
Lym wore a blue skirt, Egon had a white polo shirt with black dress pants on instead of his Ghostbuster outfit.

Settling down her bike with less then her usual grace on the manor's launch platform, Deim manages to lever herself off the vehicle before shutting it down. Glancing at the windows as she took a moment's reprieve leaning against the stationary bike, it would seem most of its occupants had made it safely back by the sounds of merriment from within, and in considerably better time then she herself had made.

Hastur wears the tuxedo he wore before the invasion, breathing a bit heavy and wincing at times, his sidestill not completely healed, hoping that his stitches and bandages hold up.

Though it's not often that she's dressed in anything, Twilight Sparkle has opted, this time, to wear a loose-fitting royal dress and her tiara. She's smiling, however, after having taken time to recover from her magic depletion.

Lenai sniffs around at the food, wearing her usual outfit, as well as a tie. The tie is not on properly at all, but at least it has a kitty face on it.

Gizmo wears a backless yellow dress, which would look grand and formal if it didn't give a nice view of the scar running diagonally down her back between her wings where the fur hadn't grown back yet. Perhaps she was fond of having a battle wound to show off.

Roche's usual robes were off for the night, instead he wore a nice dress shirt underneath his old hooded vest, a pair of dress pants and italian shoes completed the look. He looked healthier than before, although his face held back a few pained looks, going unnoticed by the celebrating crowd.

Jax enters in, wearing a very simple dress, Scruffles by her side wearing a nice formal tuxedo. He feels rather sad, for his efforts in the Paranormal Deiverance Force sadly did not earn him a role in the final fight. However, even small cogs like his owner Jax provided some help at times- Every effort of every one of them helped. Especially those of one Scruffles and Jax are proud to have met, Oboyo Jinsaka.

Mekis stood in the crowd, looking as he often did, seeing little purpose in the formal wear of others. Esteban had a red bow tie about his neck, his opinion differing greatly from his master. Esteban understood the importance of appearence in such social functions. Sometimes he wished that Mekis understood this. Meanwhile, Mekis wondered where he would find the bar.

Kent entered the area, wearing his formal tails suit that even he kept forgetting he owned. His sword was placed in a dignified black sheath by his side, giving off a noble appearence rather than a one of intimidation. He wasn't covered in soot for once in his life. He stops by the door before entering completely and pokes his head back out. "Come on, Kimen. I know you think it's boring. I don't care."

Jeffery is sitting at one of the tables, finishing up the last payment to the contractors that had been putting in the gallery in the basement. "There we go, all done. Just gotta drop that in the mail tomorrow." He stands up and goes over to get himself some food.

Helios floats in and heads over to Elanor. "We heard that the M85 was successful in defending the Mk. II from it's report, but we haven't been able to apoligize for the delay in it showing up lately. Missile troubles and whatnot were in the way."

Kimen wasn't quite thrilled about this party as they normally would have been. It was less that they thought it was boring and more that they just wanted to rest after spending the day cleaning out Kent's forge. Her body was scraped up, bruised, and her muscles were sore from the weeks worth of chores Kent had set up as punishment (the quick shower she took prior to the event helped to relieve some of those aches and pains though). In her rush to get ready there were still some smears of soot on her face, but otherwise she was clean; wearing the black pants, white shirt and black tie kent had presented to her. The tie feeling quite awkward around her neck, Kimen kept pulling at it in hopes to losen it a little.

Trixie moved about the banquet almost mechanically, a midnight blue cloak across her back, speckled like the night sky, seeming in almost a haze as she perused the food.

Dos stood near the doorway, a bowtie on his neck being the only real attire he wears over his bodysuit-like chassis, watching the organics moving about the room with more curiosity than hostility, cleaned up now after the final showdown.

Wincing as each motion of the functional arm sent off warning signals, the other having been shut down sometime mid-flight to prevent further damages, she removed the simple band of metal on her forehead. A quick, yet precise shake of her head ensured her hair now concealed most of her facial features, a neccessity untill she could see to repairs.

She herself knew her injuries to be superficial at best, yet to most organics, they would be cause for undue sympathy if detected. Those were her friends inside, and no doubt there had been more worthy recipients of such sympathy. War was seldom without its casualties.
Limping slightly, the War-Droid returned from war, made for the ,anor. Repairs were essential, yet first she had to confirm for herself whom had made it back, and she had her boss to confront.

Elenor shook her head towards Helios. "He made it, so that's all that matters. Were this a normal military unit, that'd be a different story. You came through, Helios. Go on and take a seat, Oboyo is getting ready to start." After waiting for a few more minutes, Oboyo tapped the microphone a couple of times and waited for the room to quiet down before speaking up.

"..heh. I came up with a few one-liners for this, but they seem to have slipped my mind. This meeting is different from the others we've all been through. We're not here to discuss war or politics anymore. We're here to celebrate something that very few people in this world conceived possible. A victory over potential invaders, all done with the support of volunteers and no real government. You have all proven the true worth of the cleft and what it means to live here."

Oboyo removed his hands from the podium and glanced around the room. "You are all heroes. Those who could not make it this far with us would agree. But we came together for a single purpose, and we've fulfilled it. Thank you..all of you. You've made their sacrifices worth it. And so..I hereby disband the Paranormal Deliverance Force. You are all free to stay here or work in my manor if you wish, but it is time we moved on with our own lives."
"But before we eat..how about it, one last time?" asked Oboyo before holding his left hand up and waiting a few seconds before shouting at the top of his lungs. "VICTORY!"

Egon thrusted his hand into the air and shouted as loud as he could before stopping and adjusting his glasses, looking around nervously.

Roche waved the small fork in his hand as he held the wine glass in the other giving a half-hearted, "Go us!" a smile adorned his face

Hastur thrusts his hand into the air, yelling, but quickly puts his hand back down, no longer yelling as he grabs his side, wincing in pain.

Gizmo raises a hand into the air "VICTOR-- oh shit." she says as she just spilled champagne all over whoever was in front of her.

From her place at one end of the table, the regally-dressed Princess Twilight Sparkle stands and turns towards Oboyo in turn to cheer herself, pumping one foreleg into the air enthusiastically before falling back into her seat.

Lenai shouts, "VICTORY!" before making her way toward Egon, a small loaf of bread in her hand. She munches on it, stepping closer, waving. "Hey you, nya, what are you looking so nervous about?"

Jeffery awkwardly cheered along with everyone else, unused to shouting in a situation where he wasn't running for his life.

Jax raises her hand into the air, and Scruffles hooooowls loudly, neither able to properly speak the word.

"Victory!!" shouted Lym loudly. "Huh? Why's everyone shouting?" asked Launchpad, glancing around with a bewildered look on his face before going back to his food. "Mind your own business!..I mean, yes. Well done. Hmm." said Carlton on his way back to the ascendalator. Bronz opened his beak and made a sound while holding a wing in the air.

Kent held his sword high as he joined in the shout. "VICTORY!" Kent laughed a bit in his yell, happy to hear the word. He sheathed his sword quickly as he beamed at Kimen. The kid might not understand, esspecially with how harsh he's been, but he was proud of him. It was only going to be a short while before they were back to Truce. It would be a shame to leave their new friends, but Kent couldn't stay forever.

Helios hovers off into the crowd of the PDF, though he pauses to shout "Victory!" with everyone else. He singles out the manor repair drone and starts conversing with it about the portal systems.

Mekis raises a fist, shouting, "Yes, to MY VICTORY!" Esteban did the mallard equivalent of a face palm. "Now, where is the mead?"

Dos let out a loud laugh, before raising his own fist "Alright, sure, we won. Victory!" he lowered his hand, still chuckling.

Kimen clapped his hands and cheered, catching a glimpse of his bracelet as his sleeve slid down his arm, suddenly remembering the spirit that was taking up residence there. "Oh! Mr. Sissel, are you there? Do you think now might be a good chance to talk to Mr. Egon about that bracelet you mentioned." Kimen whispered, wondering if he would get an answer.

Jeffery hurried over to the podium once the cheer was done. "Excuse me! Uh, Oboyo, I have that thing you asked me to watch for you." He taps his briefcase.

Nodding slightly to those she knew as she passed them, Deim largely kept herself apart of the actual festivities as she searched for Oboyo. She knew herself to be a right mess at the moment, and while she was not alone in her state of dishevelment, the less questions asked, the least chance of awkward confrontations.

"Hmm? Oh, no reason." said Egon, staring down at his food. Calm and collected Egon never liked showing himself relax. Stinky, Stretch, and Fatso roared with laughter as they began to make a mess with their food, which Casper and Servbot #1337 immediately went to work cleaning up.

After all the shouting, Lucass entered the hall and looked around until his eyes stopped on Kent and Kimen. He ran his hand through his pocket for a moment before heading towards them and taking a seat. They certainly looked different..in fact, a lot of people did. He began to feel slightly out of place. "Hey guys..sorry I haven't seen you much in the past couple days. I've been occupied.."

Sissel's voice rang through Kimen's ears. "We could try..but I think any blinking bracelet that I could manipulate would do. I would like Egon to know about me, though. But..he looks occupied, and so do you."

"I was just wondering if maybe you could help me out a little?" Lenai asks Egon, taking another bite, "If you haven't noticed, lately I've been having a harder time keeping myself powered. I'm broken, you're a mechanic of sorts, nya. I need to go find the person who built me, I was hoping maybe you could help me ask the engineer's guild to give me any information they have..."

Though she's eating, Twilight Sparkle turns away from her meal to look for Hastur. Catching sight of his bandages, however, is enough to make the pegacorn mare shake her head and fly over to land in front of him. "Where's...-uh. Not in the best condition, it looks like... Let me see if I can do something for you with my magic."

Hastur smiles at hsi ward, then winces again. "Th-thanks, Twilight... hehe... don't often get hurt this bad... it sucks. A lot." He looks at his bandages, sighing. "I hope none of the stitches broke... I paid a lot to have this suit tailored."

Mekis went through the crowd, straight to the open bar, walking as the hero he knew himself to be. Managing to quickly get atop a stool, he said, "A pint of mead! Make it two!" Esteban sat next to Mekis as the second pint was put in front of him. "To your health." Mekis started to take a large swig of his mead, while esteban took a light sip, planning on nursing his drink.

Kent glared at Lucass. "I have not had the moment to talk to you, Lucass, but I -hope- that there is no need for me to. I think you understand what it is I would have to say." Kent looked between Kimen and Lucass, excused himself, and walked away. The two would have a better time without him. He approached Roche a few minutes later, holding a glass of wine in his hand. "It would appear we're going our seperate ways soon, Father."

"Oh?" Kimen blinked down at the bracelet in confusion before just then noticing Lucass taking a seat next to her, "Oh!" She smiled happily to the boy gave him a small wave in greeting. "Lucass, you made it! I am so glad!" Now that he was here this party was bound to be more fun.

Gizmo finished her champagne, barely tasting it. The day had been saved, but she felt she hadn't contributed much to that outcome. This body was good for one thing: Hurting people. Was there anyone she had helped with her presence? She spotted Kent from across the room. That's right, the issue with Kagura. Much as she didn't want to, she was going to have to twist the knife she'd placed in him earlier... maybe after he was done talking. A reason to put it off.

"Indeed, my friend, I was hoping for to ask a favor of you." Roche looked across the room to see Lym, then back to Kent. "I plan on helping Miss Lym find what remains of her order. I would hope you'd be able to help?"

Egon frowned lightly as he heard Lenai's story. "I'm sorry to hear about that, Lenai. Unfortunately..I don't know anything about robotics nor have I had time to meet anyone in this world. I wasn't in the guild long before they discarded me. If it wasn't for Oboyo, I'd probably have sold my proton pack a long time ago. Besides.." He stopped and adjusted his glasses again.

"I think I'm going to travel across the cleft. I appreciate the things Oboyo's done for me, but there were others I worked with in paranormal research before I showed up here. I want to see if they're out there somewhere. Perhaps Helios can help you? I hope you're able to find your creator."

Lucass winced as Kent said his words and walked away. "..um..I guess he was pretty mad about us showing up on the ship, huh?"

Lenai frowns a bit, but then she smiles, giving Egon a nice big hug. "Nya, hopefully we'll meet again later then! And hopefully you'll find your friends," she says, hopping to a stand, "It's nice enough to know that you wish nice things, nya." She begins to trot off, looking for Mekis, before plopping on a seat next to him.

Oboyo smiled at Jeffery and stepped off the podium, taking a seat at a table with the ninjas. "Thanks Jeffery..but it's just trash now. Why don't you give it to Lucass?"

Kent nodded. "I think that I owe it to the girl to help her and yourself with that." He smiles at the thought. He could use one more adventure that had more focus, rather than the consistant panic that they were all used to at this point. "I would very much like to accompany you before I depart. I need to figure out what happens to my forge before I'm off either way."

Demonicor walked in, wearing a full tailored tuxedo, the black and white polished cane in his hand practically supporting him as he overlooked the meeting hall, raising a hand toward the ceiling "Victorious are we!" as his hand lowered to his side, a strange grin spread across his features before vanishing, the mage made his way over toward the the food table, looking far more in line with those of his profession.

Mekis looked over as Lenai sat down, then said, "Another pint of mead for the lady here!", as he swayed his mug in her direction. He then took another swig of his drink, two-thirds gone.

Scruffles trots over to the food-tables and the bar, sitting and whining at people eating. He begs and begs, before Jax grabs him a little bit of meat, feeding the poor puppy.

"Yeah, but I don't think he is as mad now as he was when we first came back. I am still doing chores as punishment though. Today he had me cleaing out the forge!" Kimen laughed as if it wasn't punishment at all. Kimen said he would accept whatever punishment Kent gave him for putting himself in danger, and he had. "I still believe that it was worth it though just to see that Mr. Kent and the others were alright. What have you been up to lately, Lucass?"

Most of the conversation and cheers fly over Trixie's head, the mare simply staring at a spot near the wall, head cocked somewhat as though she were inspecting it, or listening for something, her shoulders squared but not looking much like a homecoming conquerer.

Roche nodded, "Ahh, I see, so you'll continue to tend to the forge after this is over?" he took a sip of his wine glass. "After all this, I'm going to go around, help in cleaning up the mess that damnable mana fortress has caused. Then just help people."

Lenai takes a drink of her mead, before reaching an arm over to lift Mekis up in a hug. "Nya, what are your plans now? There aren't much things to kill," she says, tapping her chin, before taking another drink, "You could enter a tournament!"

"Alright then. I'll go do that." Jeffery pulled out the now-useless letter and headed over towards Lucass. "Hey, Lucass, Oboyo said to give this trash letter to you. Not sure what for, but enjoy." He held out the letter.

Gizmo takes a seat at the bar next to Esteban, taking out a flask and taking a drink before setting it down on the bar. After a thought, she tilts it so she can see Kent off the reflection. "So. How's it going?" she says to the chocobo "Have fun with the PDF?"

Finally spotting her objective, alone and sequestered for a moment in the eb and sway of the crowds she moved purposefully, if slowly, towards him. Grasping a sleeve in passing and with a soft "We need to talk.." as her sole explanation, she literally dragged him into a room her connection to the manor security informed her was vacant.

Oboyo quirked an eyebrow at Deim as he rose up from his seat followed her away from the party in the main hall. The scene would seem amusing to some if not usual; Deim had a way of running him ragged.

Lucass glanced over to Jeffery and tilted his head before taking the letter out of his hand. "..trash, huh. Figures. He'll never change." said the boy before holding his hand out, the rage rune glowing brightly before igniting the letter. He then turned back to Kimen, pausing and glancing at Jeffery before Kimen again. "..well..there are things that I need to talk to you about..but not right now."

After he finishes the conversation with the repair drone, Helios hovers over to Dos. "So, what have you been up to lately?"

Demonicor makes his way over to the bar, ordering the wine he had at the pre-battle gathering, glancing at the scar down Gizmo's back, warmly trailing down it with a couple finger "Hey pretty warrior, how goes the party?" his hand came to rest between her wings, gently rubbing her back.

Mekis looked a bit longingly toward his pint. "Put me down, I'm drinking for my victory! It's an important tradition!" Esteban sat, contemplating the party, paying little mind to his master's cries, having expected them early on.

Releasing her grip on her seemingly dazed employer, she turned to face him, though keeping her gaze downward at the carpet. "Firstly, I apologise for the abrupt nature of my actions. But I deemed them..neccessary given circumstances." She paused, tilting her head upward to give a one-eyed gaze, the rest of her face shrouded by a wild mass of emerald locks. "I could not afford this to await the usual evasive dance employed by you of late ser Oboyo."

'Evasive dance'? Is that what she was calling it? Perhaps he should have been taking her piling reports a bit more seriously. "What happened to you, Deim? We were all worried! No one's heard or seen you since the battle."

The one visible brow lowered slightly, though her voice remained the same with soft even tones as ever. "I sent ahead a report, detailed and composed under considerable duress." Shaking her head slightly, the battered War-Droid continued. "No matter, read it at your leisure ser Jinsaka. I only returned to inform you personally of a need to retire from active duty. Repairs necisitate a return to Eshtvar base for a day or two that cannot be handled by the facilities available at the Manor."

"It's a noble cause, Father. More need to offer themselves to service in such a way." Kent sighed, looking back to Kimen. "I have responsibilities. He's growing up, getting into danger..." He looked almost frusterated with himself as he turned back to Roche. "And I'll be damned myself if he keeps doing it without the training to survive such dangers."

Gizmo gives out a shriek of surprise and tenses up, before giving Demonicor a playful shove "Don't do that! It feels weird there..." she contemplated things a bit "Party's fine I suppose. Just got a lot on my mind. Things done and left undone you know..."

Dos chuckled lightly, flexing his fingers "Getting used to adjustments," he looked out amongst the crowd of... people "of all sorts."

Kimen tilted her head to the side, "Things to talk to me about?" For a minute the child had no idea what he needed to say to her, and then it hit her! This party was everyones last chance to be together before they went their separate ways! Maybe Lucass had something come up and had a change of plans. What if he wasn't going to go to the library with her after all. Her brows knit and she looked a little worried as she thought of this. She hoped this wasn't the case. She really didn't want to say goodbye to him just yet. It felt as though they had only just met each other. And he was her friend! "Well, O-okay. When do you want to talk then?"

Lenai chuckles, drinking and setting Mekis down. "Nyan, so much fuss over a simple hug," she says, before sighing softly and finishing off her drink, "I guess though, you wouldn't want to travel with me for a while, would you?"

Helios follows his gaze. "Indeed. It took a while to get used to it too. Symptoms may include a reduced desire to see the world burn or commit genocide." He chuckles. "So, the repair drone has been working on a newer model of the hand for you, but we wanted to mkae sure you were interested before it installs it or anything."

Roche smiled at Kent, he took a deep breath glancing at Lym, "She doesn't blame you, you know."

"Deim, you know you're free to come and go as you like. I have never wanted for you to feel trapped here." said Oboyo as he cocked his head and scrutinized her face a little more closely. "Still, I need to ask. What repairs? Are you alright?"

Oboyo's scrutiny would find various signs of her current condition: the dangling arm, the disheveled attire, even the way she held herself, skulking and hiding.
The brow remained furrowed as Deim kept her head half-tilted upwards, a slightly sulky inflection to her tone. "I wrote a detailed report on it all, Ser. The repairs can be handled readily enough at Eshtvar, the repair nanites stored here are merely inefficient for the task."

Oboyo shook his head. "I didn't ask about the report Deim. I asked if you're alright. Haven't we known each other long enough now that you know I'm not some militaristic overseer?"

Carefully brushing away the hair on the side of her face not covered up, Deim hesitated. It was a request, not a command. She then shook her head. "It is precisely because of that, because we have interacted over a prolonged period, that I do not wish to explain this Ser. Let it rest, and be assured I will be fine in a day or two."

Demonicor chuckled as he took a step back, smiling and giving a light bow "My apologies." he grinned a bit, setting down his cane and taking a sip of his wine, before moving his fingers to other parts of the moogle's back, away from the scar, gently massaging at her muscles "Unfortunately, I harbor a few more of those undone myself. What you have done should rarely lead to regret, it's what brings you to where you are."

Gizmo lifts up her flask, giving it a longing look before downing another drink of whatever was inside "But what if I don't like where I am? And what if not all the regrets I made were mistakes. You ever gone towards something, knowing full well it will be a bad idea for everyone involved... but you know you can't refuse?"

"How about tomorrow? I'm going to help Oboyo move the tablet in the morning, but I'm free after that. That'll be a good chance to ask him if he doesn't mind helping us get to Viorar, too..now that everything is over and all. I'm sure Sissel wants to get going as soon as possible, but..when do you think we should leave?" asked Lucass, thumbing his covered right hand briefly.

'And I was known for falling victim to all kinds of things back home...?' With a subtle roll of her eyes, Twilight Sparkle tunes out her now-cold food, horn staying aglow as she begins tending to Hastur's wounds. "Just hold still while I check to see that nothing's out of place."

Demonicor looked at Gizmo for a hard moment, before shaking his head with a chuckle, lightly patting her shoulder "I'm a scientist, and a summoner. I have done many things I'm not proud of, in the sake of knowledge. But, would I be here to celebrate tonight without them? Things I have done, have already been done. If you were to always doubt your gut based on what you've already done, who is to say you'd be here today?"

Kimen relaxed a little. So he wasn't going to say good-bye and was still planning on going to Viorar with him. Kimen would get to keep his friend! But if that was not what Lucass wanted to talk about Kimen had no idea what it was, "Alright! Hopefully I will be free too by then. I don't know what Mr. Kent plans for me to do tomorrow." He turned to where the former knight was, noticing he was looking in their direction. Kimen smiled to him then turned back to Lucass, "I will come find you when I get a chance!"

Oboyo placed a hand on his hip and rested on his other leg. This talk was going no where, as usual. "Just tell me, Deim. You don't have to hide anything."

Shaking her head with a deep sigh as that was enough of a command to follow, Deim lifted up the veil of hair, letting her boss see the more obvious proof of battle damage she bore. Half her face now exposed to the bare metal, the skin ripped clean away, while jagged claw marks marked where one eye had been, carving deep gouges into the metal.

The eye itself, was now a mere orb, shattered and glowy dully in its ravaged socket. Dropping the hair back into place, Deim glowered slightly as she explained her hesitance. "I took a considerable effort to hide this from the others, Ser Jinsaka, because it has long been considered that most organics deal poorly with exposure to the true nature of synthetics like myself."

Managing a chilled inflection, the War-Droid continued on in depressing manner, "It alters their perception of us, and shatters the illusion of common-grounds. We are different, if you cut us, we do not always bleed...yet I did not want to alert the friends made in this place to how deep such differences ran..I did not wish to upset them unduely."

So that's why, thought Oboyo. She had certainly changed since he met her fishing all those months ago. Dos could learn a thing or two from her.

"To one such as me," her finger moved across the hidden half of her face, "..injuries such as these, are little more than an inconvenience. I will be repaired, and it will be nothing more then another memory file to add to the list." She then moved to the door leading out to the hallway before stopping to face Oboyo once more. "Yet to an organic, such wounds are life changing, irrepairable safe a miracle, or becoming in part like us, synthetic."

Hastur sighs, smiling at his ward. "Okay... thanks, tomo." He looks over at Trixie. "Hey, Trixie. Is that wall giving you dirty looks, or something?"

Mekis grabbed his pint. "Actually, I'm considering joining that Heroes For Hire group I heard of. See if it truly has adventure and, more importantly, loot and glory. Though I also am considering taking a break. Check my hidden loot about the local area." Mekis took the last swig of his mug. "More mead!"

Dos looked at the mechon for a moment in surprise, before laughing "I can honestly say I never thought you'd be the genocidal type. Personally, I never wanted to see the world burn. Cities are hard enough to build over when they're falling apart, let alone on fire."

Kent cringed a bit at Roche's words. "I...know." He said, very softly. She had called him a hero, and it wasn't a word that he was used to hearing. He thought a bit. "It doesn't make me any less responsible." He glanced towards Lym for a moment. He had other priorities as well, to so many people. He sighed. "...I'll make things right. You'll see."

Lenai looks forward sadly, before standing up from her seat. "...I understand, it wouldn't be very fun with me anyway," she says, giving Mekis' head a little pet, "Enjoy your drink. Perhaps we'll meet again some time." Lenai stretches and begins walking off.

"I know you will my friend. I sense great things in you." He smiled, the knight finding a semblance of inner peace. Roche felt a large spike of pain through his side, clutching it quickly. "Damn."

Trixie looked up in surprise at the interruption, giving Hastur a weak smile "Oh, hi Hastur..." her smile faded as she looked around "No, just... thinking on things..." she looked to the centerpoint of the gathering, Oboyo Jinsaka "You don't suppose... nevermind." the mare shook her head, as though trying to dislodge a thought, looking back at the giganto with concern "How's the wound? You didn't have to do that for Trixie, you know."

Gizmo considers telling the truth about everything. About how thing's she's done haven't been done yet. That she could try and change them in spite of the pain. Instead, she goes for an vague answer "It's not that I doubt my gut. It's... complicated."

"Well, we were part of an army hell-bent on exterminating life on the Bionis. Long story, though." Helios hovers closer conspiratorily. "Which isn't to say that we don't sometimes entertain the idea, but we digress. Difficult to escape core programming, especally when the only people in the cleft that are good with machines don't understand code. Not even the repair drones are that good." He sighs.

Lym continued to eat her meal slowly next to Launchpad, completely unaware of the discussion being had about her. "Mmm! Mmm! I love this fish! Where'd Mr. J say it came from again? The..Man Dan ocean?" asked the pelican, causing her to roll her eyes. "Manawyden Ocean." said Lym, correcting him.

"I see." said Oboyo simply as he followed her to the door to return to the party. "I restate what I said earlier: You're free to come and go as you wish Deim. You've more than earned your place here. But I think you might be a little too worried about their opinions..they will be sad you weren't here for the party. You should take the side exit so no one sees you."

Tilting her head, surprised by the unexpected rejoinder, Deim nodded, moving to open the door. A thoughtful pause caused her to turn around. "Can I bring my puppy when I return? You did not approve of the suggestion for a squad of them, yet the prototype has reached the stage where if I am to return here, I cannot continue their training, nor can I leave them at Home-Base."

Bemused by the sudden change of subject from the mercurial bot, and truthfully not recalling any such report on puppies of all things, Oboyo could think of little more then a half-hearted "A..puppy? I don't see why not..Jax has one, after all."

Little did he know how much he might come to regret such a choice of words later. Nevertheless, the confirmation seemed to elicit a small smile on the retreating Deim's face.

With that, Oboyo and Deim left the room and went their separate ways. Oboyo returned to the party and sat next to Jean, who went on about his heroics under the Noctog Ocean and how brave each of the black moogle warriors were.

Hastur smirks. "Hehe... yeah I did. If I'm gonna be a guard for you and Twilight, then I need to be willing to take some hits, right?" He winces as the magic from Twilight's horn works on a really sensitive area. "besides, it's not as bad as it looks..."

Kent put down his wine glass on a table and grabbed Roche in a matter of a few seconds. He qalked him over to a seat to rest. "Even the pure of heart are not exempt from the sins of mana," Kent said with a sad tone. It hurt him to see Roche in pain, and he knew the cause. Magic. Regardless of the cause it served it was dangerous. "Are you going to be alright?"

Mekis sat as another mug was placed before him. "I never said that. In fact, I was hoping you'd join me. It would be a pleasure to fight with you again. And drink another pint in the name of victory."

Demonicor nodded slowly "Well, just know, that if you need my help in the future, all you need to do is ask." he patted the moogle on the shoulder before sitting beside her, beginning to slowly drink his wine.

"Aye. A mixture of poor diet and excersise is all. Regardless I am to see Selan in Truce before I am to leave on my travels. But enough of me, go have fun my friend, tonight is one of celebration. I'll call upon you once we are ready to find the order." Roche put on a smile for his friend and took a sip of the glass emptying it.

Lenai turns around, shaking her head. "This fight almost killed me, nya- Every time I exhaust my energy... I get more broken. I've been broken for a long time," she says, sighing a little, "I'm going to go get myself repaired, but... Well, good luck with your battles."

Gizmo smirks at Demonicor "Sure thing. Just be warned... I hurt everyone I associate with. Are you ok with taking that risk?" This guy was crazy. She fully expected him to say yes. "Speaking of hurting people... I may need to go do that soon."

Scruffles barks up at Gizmo, waggling his little tail-stump. He wishes for the pets from a companion he has gone on a conquest with. An adventure, an ally and friend. Bark, bark! He wants them right there, behind the ears and on his butt, because sadly corgies cannot reach their own behinds. What a tragic, derpdorable existence.

Demonicor returned the smirk, tipping his glass to Gizmo "I'll just say this, the offer remains open. Good luck with that whole harm thing, oh purple-winged angel of battle.".

"I can't say we were exactly an army... but my group was quite responsible for many deaths. Those guys probably had it coming anyways. It seems a bit different here, and I don't think that's just my programming speaking." Dos seemed to be less inclined to travel out amongst the rest of the group, no real interest or commonalities. One step at a time: he already tackled murderous intent.

Gizmo can't help but laugh at Demonicor's parting comment. Right, how many angels have bat wings and fangs? She looks down at the barking Scruffles, giving him a smile and a scratch behind the ears "I'm gonna go off and do something stupid alright? You just stay there and keep being awesome ok?"

Kent nodded to Roche as he left. "Good day, father." Kent looked around and approached Oboyo. "Excuse me, Mr. Jinsaka. I must ask, what is to happen to the forge I have been occupying?" He paused, gathering his thoughts, "I won't be able to always be there, but... I was wondering the possibilities of gaining the property for myself."

Scruffles tilts his head. He contemplates methods to communicate with this moogle, such as barking, or whining. Or perhaps he could try whining the words, although it would not sound perfect. Yes, of course. He whines, "I love you!" as many dogs have learned- but his sounds more like, "Isle of wounds."

Roche's head hung for a moment before he stood, taking a deep breath and making his way to talk to Lym. "Excuse me Miss Lym, I think you'll be happy to know that I have enlisted the aid of our fair knight Kent, so that we may search for the remainder of your order."

Gizmo looks confused at Scruffles. What was with the weird accent all of a sudden? She shakes her head clear "I should be back soon." She gets up and walks over to Kent. Enough moping at the bar, if she was going to catch him for a moment she'd have to take matters into her own hands.

Mekis turned around and jumped to his feet. "Well, if I do go on to battle, I swear I shall find a bit of time to see you. For I shall miss you, both as a fellow warrior and as, well, you know." Mekis was a bit embarassed, his beginning drunkeness influencing his emotion. It didn't take much, given his physiology. He raised his arms. "Would you like a hug? I would. I think." He really wasn't sure. Mekis was never very good at the emotional, for those who couldn't tell.

Kimen's eyes widened as the sound of barking reached her ears, her back straightening. There was a dog in here! She sat there terrified and unmoving, breath caught and heart pounding loudly as she searching the room hoping not to lay eyes on it. It didn't take long until she actually saw it. And it took even less time to find a hiding place under the table.

Lenai frowns, looking down, before moving in to lift Mekis up and hug him for a little while. "You won't be able to find me, I'll be missing in weird places most of the time...alone again," she says, setting Mekis down gently, "It will be difficult to find me."

Oboyo turned to look at Kent and scanned him up and down for a second before deciding on an answer. "Well..I don't see why not. You do a good job running it and you're the reason it exists. But I have one condition."

After delivering the letter to Lucass, Jeffery had gone back to get some more food and mingle a bit more with some of the manor staff. Now he found himself sitting alone at a table with some more of the endless paperwork.

Kent nodded. "By all means, sir, I will try to accommodate with your wishes." He worried a bit though. He generally knew Oboyo had plans that others didn't know about. At least that's what he learned from hanging around Lucass enough.

"It is. Something about this place..." Helios shakes his core. "Just unconfirmed feelings, we wouldnt read into it too much. It's probably the fact that we are so far away from our initial objective that we can't help but forget it a little bit." He seemed to shrug. "But as we said, it's all speculation."

"..You..what? Are you sure? It's been a while since I mentioned that to Elenor..I didn't think anyone had the time to take me. Thank you, Roche. It's important that we find them..I've learned some disturbing things recently about our teachings, but I don't want to share them until I know the truth." said Lym, smiling at the priest. "Just promise me one thing..if we do find them, keep the severance that I showed you a secret."

Oboyo kept a firm gaze on Kent as he made his condition clear. "I want you to name your establishment 'Steve's'. His memory deserves to live on, don't you think?"

Lucass turned face the sound of Scruffles' barking, and it took him a bit to register what that meant. "Uh oh..hehe, guess Scruffles is here, huh Kimen?" asked Lucass with a chuckle before turning around and finding an empty seat. "..Kimen? Where'd you go..?" he asked out loud, looking around the room for her. Sissel's voice then rang through her head, "..I know I said I wouldn't bother you much..but I can't help but notice that you're under a table."

"Of course, Miss Lym. If you don't mind, I'm going to retire for the night, I think I may have drank a little to much tonight. Good night Miss Lym." Roche turned to walk away, as he walked through the manor to his rrom, he fell into a coughing fit, after a few moments he pulled a hankerchief he had in his pocket to his mouth. after the coughs subsided, he saw a small amount of blood on the 'kerchief, "Diet and excersise, my ass." He headed into his room, sleep would not come easy.

It took a moment of thinking for Kent to agree. "Of course. I'll have Kimen help me make a sign immediately." He thought a bit longer, "You wouldn't happen to know where his mace is, do you? It would make an excelent display peice, given the name." Kent turned to his side, where the Moogle warrior maiden was approaching. "Ahh, yes Gizmo. Is there something you need to discuss as well?"

Hastur sighs. "So, it appears our time here is done... I suppose I should be saving up for that house I'm going to build for us, huh, tomos?" He smiles and looks between Twilight and Trixie.

Gizmo nods to Kent "Just the one thing. About Kagura, I wanted to let you know I'll be returning to Truce when this is over. That's where we led her. When you're ready, I'll be staying in the inn. Any questions." Straight and to the point, get this over with, remember the pained look on his face when you first brought this up and do NOT drag this out like you usually do.

Kimen was shaking, curled up into a tight ball under the table right next to where his seat was, hoping that the dog would leave soon without ever having to come face to face with it. To Sissel's comment Kimen could only answer with a meek "Uh-huh." and a nod.

"While that may be the case... We've done a lot of worthwhile things, Hastur, as part of the PDF..." Twilight Sparkle extinguishes the glow of magic around her horn, finally, satisfied to see that her magical scan didn't turn up any missing sutures. "And I look forward to our house..."

Mekis considered her words. "Well, I'd say you'd be worth the trouble of that difficult search. For you, in fact, it would be no trouble." Mekis smiled hoping this came across as a comfort. "And besides, I haven't decided yet on whether I'll go to battle with those supposed Heroes. You silly." Mekis began to sway a little on his feet. He leaned against Lenai's leg for a momment's support. "Damn gut. One thing my family got wrong. Weak gut for alcohol."

Lenai sighs, patting Mekis on the head. "My journey would be boring for you. No fights, just a lot of...searching," she says, lifting him up to cradle him, "Nya, stop being so worried. I'll carry you."

"You never worry about yourself you idiot! You were hurt far more than you let on, it was Trixie's wound you took! Trixie wouldn't be surprised if you actually had almost died out there on that ship!" the flecks of red in Trixie's eyes vanish almost as soon as they appeared, the mare looking more shocked by her outburst than anything else, the flash of anger in her eyes quickly replaced by hurt "T-trixie is just going to... stand elsewhere..." she partially closed her eyes and walked toward the edge of the room.

Kent was caught off guard by Gizmo's comment. His mind immediately flashed back to Kahleen. This wasn't going to be fun for anyone, but Kent knew it needed to be done. Hopefully he could avoid dragging Kimen into it like he usually did. "I have no questions. I'll see you at the inn in a few weeks time, then. Thank you, Gizmo."

Hastur blinks a bit, then looks at Twilight. "I think we... or, at least, I... need to go talk to Trixie."

Dos stays silent, looking at the crowd for a moment, before walking out the door, heading for the front "Hey, Sutan, get your ass in there, it's your party too. I can get the cliff notes later from Helios or Lenai." his buster unfolded casually from his arm as he took a spot opposite the guard.

Sutan merely grunted at Dos, keeping at his spot. He wouldn't dismiss the additional help, but he's certainly not going in there.

Gizmo nods affirmatively to Kent "Good to know. I should have her found by then." Well that was easy. She heads back over to Demonicor "So, where are you heading after this anyway?"

"I see. I'll leave you with that, then." said Sissel. Lucass groaned and rested his head on the table. Kimen was no doubt on the other side of the manor by now.

Mekis looked at her. "Searching? I like searchin'. Like for loot, shiny things, things worth a lot.." As he listed, he absentmindedly counted his fingers. "...things to kill, things to get appraised..." Really quickly, Mekis began repeating himself. "..shiny things, blue things, smoo-. Wait, what were we talking about?"

"Don't worry about it, nya, just enjoy your thoughts," Lenai says, sitting herself down with Mekis in her arms, resting.

"I'll probably head back to my organization or my lab, maybe even hit up my home for a bit..." Demonicor gave a wry chuckle "Three or more years... I probably have cobwebs all over the place by now." he shoved the last bit of his wine away before turning to Gizmo "Honestly, I miss that quaint little village. Been too busy thinking and digging for knowledge to bother heading back." he cocked his head a bit at Gizmo "What's your plans?"

Solaire looked around in the party reminescing on the short time he had spent with this group. "It was quite the entertaining venture." he said to himself and tilted his head down with a sigh. "I only wonder what I'll end up doing from this point on." he added with a sigh, not looking forward to wandering this world like he had done before.

"Let me talk to her, Hastur..." Calmly, Twilight Sparkle makes her way over to Trixie, careful not to anger her further. "Trixie...? He's only doing what he feels is his job, to protect us, to show how much he cares. You've got a point, but..."

Gizmo shrugs "Heading off to Truce to go deal with a revenge plot. After that... who knows? Maybe our paths will cross again."

"But, but I like you. A whole lot. In fact, if I could, I'd, I'd..uhmm. I don't know. But I'll think on it, what I plan to do in the upcoming weeks. Just, don't go for awhile, okay? At least til I've decided. End of the week latest, I swear." Mekis snuggled a bit into Lenai's arms, somehow forgetting his other pint. Alcohol had strange effects on the fuzzy warrior.

"Well, we suppose we should be heading to the transport now. Repairs wont do themselves..." Helios mutters to himself as he hovers out to the garden in the rear. A short while later, the M85 took off, bound for the canyons of Truce.

Trixie shook her head as she closed her eyes, facing away from the other mare "He was hurt protecting Trixie... because of something Trixie did... theres no reason for it."

Trixie's words sounded extremely as though it was something that was repeated past meaning.

Jeffery yawned as he filled out the last form for today. He packed up his things and decided to head off to his room for some sleep.

"Weren't you the one, Trixie, to tell me I needed to change?" Twilight Sparkle doesn't make any move to have her friend face her, simply sitting down and waiting patiently.

Trixie nodded, turning to face Twilight with an odd look, and tears in her eyes "Maybe you're right Twi... Trixie... needs to change this attitude." she looked to the side a bit and away "This whole situation shouldn't be happening. I promise, Trixie will be better by tomorrow." her words were hopeful, tinted with some odd quality.

Hastur hobbles a bit over to his wards and kneels down beofre both of them to get to their level. "Is everything alright over here?"

"That's the side of you I'm used to seeing, Trixie - always confident." Gently, Twilight Sparkle reaches out to hug her former rival with both forelegs, wings extended as she smiles. "We made it through a very tough war, together. And I'd like to think it's brought us all closer together."

Trixie held Twilight as well, nodding some "It's going to be fine, just rest tonight, Trixie knows how to get past this. The battle is ended, and it turned out okay."

"Yes. Everything's going to be alright, love." Twilight Sparkle leans in to share a gentle kiss with Trixie before pulling back. "I just needed to give Trixie a little confidence, Hastur."

Hastur smiles and nods, then looks at Trixie. "Trixie, needing confidence? Surely you jest!"

Trixie shook her head, backing away from the hug "No... Trixie just needed an extra shove in the right direction is all." she looked around the victory banquet, before walking toward the food "Come on you two... night is still young. Trixie can contemplate changes later. For now, it's probably our last chance to party with everyone."

Hastur nods, smiling. "Yep." he then gets up and walks with Trixie.

"I'm usually not one to party like this, but... Our victory DEFINITELY calls for a celebration!" Twilight Sparkle rises from her seat on the floor, following her friends with a uncharacteristically wide grin and an unmistakeable spring in her steps. "Wait until the other Princesses hear about this...! I love you two."

The night went on, and the members of the Paranormal Deliverance Force gradually went their separate ways. Their stories may not go in the history books, but their memories would live on forever in the hearts of the people and the places that they've saved. How 55 individuals banded together, guided by the stars to protect the cleft itself from domination and oppression.

With that, Oboyo closed his book and took a deep sigh, staring at the rune on his left hand. After a moment, he reached out towards the Tablet of Promise, feeling its cold marble surface make conact with his skin. Well done, everyone. Never forget the things you've done here.

Oboyo soon pulled his hand away from the slab, sliding both hands into the pockets of trench coat before turning around and walking away.
