As part of her plan to enjoy the day, and the tranquility of the town, Twilight Sparkle is watching the ocean with a small smile, horn glowing as she holds a pair of binoculars aloft with her magic. "Something's always nice about sitting on the beach..."

Drifting several stories in the air atop her feather, Kagura seems at peace. She was just gazing down at the world below without much expression on her face. After a moment of consideration she grabs the stem of the feather and yanks it upward, creating a vortex of wind that dropped her to the beach just before the water. As the sand settles, she is seen pinning a tiny feather in her hair.

Twilight Sparkle turns away from the waves at the burst of wind, lowering the binoculars and looking up with a raised eyebrow as her horn flares in preparation for a identification spell. "What...? Who are you?"

Kagura observed the waves clapping against the beach and almost smiled, though she didn't really show it. She almost froze as she heard the voice. She wasnt exactly scared but more so shocked as she didnt know someone was right there. As the voice finished speaking, Kagura tapped her fan on her arm a few times. "I am the wind. I am in no mood for company..." She was calm and refused to turn around but continued to tao her fan.

"Well, then... Let me get out of your way, if you're feeling that antisocial." Twilight Sparkle rolls her eyes at this, rising to her hooves and levitating the binoculars behind her as she climbs up the pilings onto the pier above. "And Princess Celestia thought I had a hard time socializing... Jeez."

Kagura kept her body facing forward and turned her head back and caught a glance of the speaker. "It is like me? How is it that it moves through the air so.. Gracefully?" Kagura turned around and watched the horse-like creature fly upward. "Must be a strange variation of a wind demon.. Does that mean-?" Kagura blinked a few times."Wait!" She rised her voice.

Midway up the ladder, with her right forehoof extended for the next rung, Twilight Sparkle pauses to turn and look back, holding the binoculars aloft with her magic. "Hm? What can I help you with?"

Anger was starting to become apparent in Kagura's face. Was this some part of his plan? I was sure I had freed myself by falling into this...This realm. This has to be on of his creations and it is either toying with me or it doesnt even know. Kagura unfolded her arms and let them fall to her sides. "I will answer your question, Demon. I am Kagura the wind witch. Now. Who are you and who do you serve?" Her hand holding the fan twitched slightly.

"Demon...? I've got no idea what you're talking about, Kagura... As for my name, it's Twilight Sparkle." At this, the unicorbrarian slides back down off the ladder, turning once she's landed on the sand. "I don't serve anyone, aside from sending reports to my mentor, Princess Celestia of the Equestrian throne."

She doesnt even know what she is or she is lying. This wouldnt be the first time he has played the role of royalty or possessed someone of power. "Very well, you Sparkle. I wish to see this Mentor of yours.. I need confirmation." Kagura folded her arms agian, giving you a blank stare.

"Unfortunately, I've got no way of contacting her, or letting her know you want to meet." Twilight Sparkle steps forward, horn glowing as a ornate jeweled tiara appears atop her head. "I'm sorry, but if you need confirmation of what I'm saying, the Element of Magic should prove what I really am."

She IS just toying with me. I shouldnt give this thing a chance, his other incarnations have proved quite threatening. "Very well!" Kagura whipped her fan open just before strong winds twist and swirl along the beach, throwing sand around and knocking the waves away from the beach. "You will regret this, Incarnate: you."

"Holy...!" Twilight Sparkle goes wide-eyed at this, even as a solid barrier of magic forms around her. "You've obviously gone off the deep end, haven't you?! Since you're not listening to reason... I WILL defend myself, if you attack me. And don't think I'm going to hold back!"

I'm not sure what to expect. I cant even sense her demonic aura to compare to my own. If I am mistaken then-No. This cant be just coincidence. Kagura smiled and one of her eye brows raised. "I've gone off the deep end? I'm afraid that your parlor tricks and mind games wont be enough, you. Its all much too convenient for you to lack the means to contact this mentor of yours." Kagura brings her arm straight out as the wind increases. "Dismiss your little cantrips or you will lave little choice but to use nothing less then your all."

"No. First, you ask me to get Princess Celestia here, then decide I'm playing a trick on you when I say I have no way to?" Twilight Sparkle narrows her eyes, simultaneously levitating a book from one of her saddlebags and flipping through it for an offensive spell as the barrier fades away. "Consider the circumstances before you go jumping to conclusions, and it might save you trouble!"

Sticking to your guns, are you? Fine! Continue this role of yours. It was foolish of you to leave yourself open. "Trouble?" Kagura smiles and swings her arm forward. "Dance of blades!" She says in a raised, echoed voice as many compressed blades of air spin toward the horse-like creature.

Twilight Sparkle watches the incoming wind-blades with a frown, teleporting off to one side to avoid them and firing a few blasts of magic from her horn as a counterattack. "You heard me. No more games - you're going to find out why I'm known as Celestia's BEST STUDENT the hard way! Let's go!"

She should have just made it easier on herself and brought me to "Her". She said herself that she keeps in contact with her but when called on her bluff, she approaches me with these silly incantations to prove she is NOT an incarnation? We shall see. Kagura smirked as the blades were closing in on you. Her eyes widen as you teleports. She could feel the space in the air that twilight now occupied. "What is this?!" That speed was unreal! Kagura had a quick reaction and a gust of wind pushed her out of the way as the magic narrowly missed. "You have words, incarnate! Try this on!" Kagura raises her hand straight out with the fan fully sprawled. "Dance of dragons." She said in yet another echoed voice. Large cyclones of sand begin to form and start tearing about seemingly at random

Twilight Sparkle closes her eyes, crouching close to the ground and digging all four hooves into the untouched sand to weather the vicious maelstrom, even as it whips her mane and tail around and pelts her with loose grains.

That was too close. I underestimated you even when I didnt think I would. Kagura added some closure to her fan. The dancing tornado's enclose around twilight in the form of a 'U'. Kagura winds her arm back and throws another gust of blades at the opening below and as he arm recoils into its closed position, Kagura swings her arm back open, throwing yet another gust of blades above.

Twilight Sparkle opens one eye in time to see the 'wave' of blades coming directly at her, teleporting out of the path once again, but not before a pair of them slices about two inches off her mane and cuts open her right foreleg.

None of this was aimed to be fatal but only to immobilize her. She seems to be on the defensive. She had clear opportunity to counter but she didnt. Why? Am I wrong about this? Kagura opened he fan fully and more cyclones form around the beach, twisting about in a circular motion. Kagura just stood there with her arm held off to the side just watching you to gauge her. It might be apparent that Kagura is second guessing herself.

"Well, now. You managed to give me a small cut." Twilight Sparkle seizes one of the stone slabs from a nearby outcropping with her magic, holding it aloft with a soft grunt before tossing her head sideways to send the stone flying at Kagura. "Are you finally realizing that I'm more intelligent and resourceful than you first thought?"

I was wrong. That bastard! He has gotten to me even though I though I got away from him. This is all wrong. With a swift movement of her hand, an onslaught of blades cut through the stone slab, breaking it down into pebbles. The surrounding wind even throws them off trajectory. Kagura closes her fan and all wind dies off almost instantly, leaving just the sand to rain down. Kagura seems grim as if she doesnt know what to say.

Twilight Sparkle looks down at her bloody right foreleg, levitating a bandage from one saddlebag and tying it securely around her injury. "You must've hit a lesser artery for my cut to bleed as much as it is... Why did you see me as a threat, even though I was being completely honest with you?"

How do I repent for this or any of the far worse things I've done? Kagura sighed. "I have to admit. I am new to this world and I do not fully understand most of these magical incantations that aren't used for offensive purposes. My ignorance is my only excuse. I am not accustomed to this.. But." Kagura tucked the fan into her sash. "I'm sorry."

"Apology accepted, Kagura." Twilight Sparkle smiles warmly as the glow around her horn finally dies, trotting closer with a barely noticeable limp. "And who knows. Maybe I can help you, even if we only got to know each other by fighting. Regardless, I don't have a grudge against you for it."

How can you be so quick to forgive? This is not a common occurrence. Kagura held her breath. This would be the first time she could recall feeling afraid. "How could you-?" Her eyes seemed to widen in disbelief. "Thank you. I cant heal you or redeem myself here and now but.. " She couldnt finish her words.

Twilight Sparkle shakes her head, sitting down with a calm smile and tilting her head slightly. "I've had enough time to learn how to forgive and move on from what's happened in the past. Besides, I'd like to be your friend, if you let me."

What is this? Kagura seemed awe struck for a moment before her eyes scowled. "That is a foolish approach, you. That out look will get you killed some day!" She came across as almost angry. I'm not used to this! I dont know how to call someone friend. I have never trusted even my own allies! "Friend? So be it." Kagura reached out and lightly touched you head.

Twilight Sparkle watches unflinchingly, flicking one ear in response. "If that's the case, then I'm not going to be afraid of it. I've been lucky thus far, but it's partly because I've been extremely careful to avoid getting killed or badly injured by what I've fought."

But the strategy you used would have failed if I was an unrelenting foe. Your open minded and compassionate approach might prove dangerous one day. "It is clear that you will need me around. You might forgive something that deserves forgiveness less than myself." Kagura's face seemed all to serious but it was possible that this was just a front.

You say 'You're right, of course. Even this far from Equestria, I'm still just the same old Twilight Sparkle...'
