[----LOG TAKEN FROM KYRK'S PERSPECTIVE----]

Living Room - Crossroads' Home
This room seems less like a modern construction and instead is much more
like a cave. Pipes, fashioned to look like roots, cross back and forth over
the ceiling of this room, with small lamps resembling glowing plants curled
around them. The walls resemble roughly hewn stone. Several pieces of
furniture are scattered around the room somewhat nonchalantly, all tying in
with the room's 'theme'.

There's a knock on the front door of the domicile, loud and forward-sounding, but not obnoxiously so. Merely as though someone wanted to make sure whoever was inside heard it, regardless of which room they happened to be in. Kyrk kind of had a habit of doing it that way, in all of his "better safe than sorry" mannerisms.

Tyrranis starts from his nap on the couch due to a knock on the door, and stands up with a stretch and a wide yawn. He spends a moment making sure his towel is safely affixed to his waist before walking towards the door, intent on answering it.

Kyrk is standing on the other side of the door, holding his massive breaker blade point-down, as set against the ground. He offers a not-quite-nod, not-quite-bow to Tyrranis in greeting, brushing aside his cloak fringe as he addresses the Giganto. "Good evening, Tyrranis. I sincerely hope I'm not interrupting anything, but I needed to speak with you and yours, if you have a few minutes to spare."

Tyrranis runs an eye over Kyrk for a moment before nodding to him. "It is somewhat of a surprise to see you up this way again, but agreeable to me. Come, we can rest in the living room. As for Lorastine and Crossroads locations, I cannot say." He beckons the man into the home with a half-smile.

"Unfortunate." Kyrk allows himself in, turning to close the door behind himself as he, assumedly, follows Tyrranis into the living area. "I had hoped to find out how well Crossroads had recovered from her endeavour at Wutai. It was a rather dismal experience, sadly admitted."

You say 'Still, that wasn't the core focus of my visit. There was something else I wanted to ask you about. A former 'roommate' of yours that I recall knowing about, at one time in the past, and that Kyuubey has now tasked me with locating.'

Tyrranis raises an eyebrow. He hadn't heard of anything going on in Wutai, though he figured if she needed to talk to him, she would. "Room mate? The only people I know of that have lived here are I, Crossroads, and Lorastine. Though..." Tyrranis looked at the unwanted guest's room and scratches his head. "I vaugely recall something about another person?"

You say 'That would likely be it, I'm assuming. His status is critical, and unless we're looking to engage him in the corrupted form, I need to find him and either deal the conclusive blow myself, or find a spare seed to prevent him from turning. I don't honestly know, in your opinion, which method is of preference.'

Kyrk allows himself to sit down on one end of the couch, wincing slightly but noticeably as he does. He does look a little off-kilter, when looked at closely. "I don't have a preference one way or another, but in an attempt to lessen the chance of ruined lives elsewhere, Kyuubey has asked me to try and find him, and put an end to the situation in whatever way is necessary. Do you have any information, if he is no longer here?"

Tyrranis shakes his head in response to Kyrk, but his face is... not kind? "I do not know where he is, though I do remember Crossroads was less than pleased to have him around. If he is at the critical level however... I feel it would be better to decide the matter with combat. If he lives, then he is healed. If not, then he will be ended before he turns. This way would make sure he is not becoming a drain that cannot kill a witch." The giganto shakes his head. "It pains me to imagine people with no abilit

Tyrranis says ' ability feeding from those who do. All it does is create more enemies, and more death.'

You say 'Understood, then. I will find him and end the threat before it becomes a real problem for us all. Unfortunately, until and unless he corrupts, I have no way of actually locating him, save for running across him within a decent proximity. We need to be within a certain range to detect other ones like ourselves, otherwise there is no signal to give chase after.'

Kyrk seems to relax a little bit. Perhaps this choice was what he preferred, too, in the long run. It was easier to just crush and move on, given the choices afforded him.

The past couple days since the incident in Wutai had been hard ones for Crossroads. Usually when something bad happened she could always lock herself in her room and sleep till she felt more prepared for coping with things, but this time she didn't exactly have her room, and in her efforts to sleep nightmares of what she had seen and faced seemed to find a way to creep into her subconsious causing her to wake in a cold sweat and a racing heart nearly every time. This of course didn't stop her from doing what she needed to do. She still needed to find a job, there were still mouths to feed and bills to pay even if the the other contracted lended a hand. She couldn't rely on that money lasting forever. Besides, looking for a job gave her something else to focus on.

Today though, yielded nothing for her efforts. Crossroads returned home exhausted, opening the door and slipping inside.

Tyrranis shrugs at Kyrk's explanation of how the Wishborn could find one another, and begins again. "If you need help, I will also hunt down this rogue member of our group. After all, it is my job to stop threats, and if he is one, he must be stopped." The Giganto doesn't notice Crossroads slip in yet.

Kyrk looks up at the sound of the door opening, not knowing whether to expect Lorastine or Crossroads. Even so, he doesn't opt to get up at all, apparently not minding at all the comfort of the furniture he's currently reclining in. He address Tyrranis in turn. "Very well, then. Right now, finding him is the tough part. Deciding how to handle it can come once we ascertain his current situation, and also whether or not he even cares. It is only toward those who've lost hope that I would prefer to extinguish, as they have no intention on trying to prevent their own demise. Those who yet cling to a chance for survival should be given every right to try and do so, regardless of who or where."

Crossroads paused in the hallway upon hearing to the conversation between Tyrranis and Kyrk. She really hadn't expected him to drop by so soon, though it sounded like whatever was going on was serious. She wished for a moment she had paid more attention to the stuff Kyrk was babbling on about on the way back from Wutai. Pulling off her shoes, Crossroads entered the living room and nodding to both men in greeting, "Is something going on?"

Tyrranis turns his head, and gives a nod to Crossroads in return. "Hello Crossroads. It seems that someone is close to corruption. I and Kyrk are going to go make sure he does not hurt anyone." Tyrranis doesn't sound overly sad about this reveal, he just talks about it like he's mentioning something he saw on the way home.

Kyrk looks upon Crossroads for a moment as she makes her presence known, but considering she wasn't curled up into a sniveling little ball with her thumb in her mouth, it wasn't as bad as he'd figured. Instead of asking about it, he nods at Tyrranis' words. "Your previous roommate, if you remember him at all. We need to find him and either administer a cleansing, or... end him entirely. Either way, the time we have left is likely short, if even Kyuubey was concerned."

Kyrk almost seems like he was going to add more to the notion of Kyuubey's concenred, but decides against it, holding his tongue instead.

Crossroads frowns, but starts to nod slowly as Tyrranis explains the situation. However when Kyrk reveals who she pales a little, suddenly looking a little more awake. "I see." She said swallowing and glancing away. Her mouth feeling a little dry.

Tyrranis looks to Kyrk again. "Concern from the Wish Granter or not, if someone is a danger to us, then we have to end that danger. If it means killing someone who lived here, then that is that. We shall find him and make sure he does not hurt anyone."

"Yes." Kyrk allows himself a moment to glance around, noting the lack of a certain other presence in the domain. "Lorastine is elsewhere, I take it? Maybe it is best she wasn't aware of the situation, anyway." He closes his eyes for a moment. "The closer someone gets to corrupting entirely, the more difficult it is for Kyuubey to track them. He is able to locate a complete uncorrupt from pretty much anywhere, but with as dark as this one seems to be getting, he can only sense the corruption itself; not the source or origination." Kyrk opens his eyes again, albeit half-liddedly. "This is why the situation is a bit on the desperate side."

Crossroads seems distant for a moment, mulling something over. She was actually starting to believe Ezekiel's lie about not being one of them, but then here was Kyrk and Tyrranis discussing his corruption and either cleansing him or killing him. Her shoulders sagged a little, not daring to look in their direction, particularly Kyrk's. "I'll help you two."

Tyrranis looks at Crossroads, and then shrugs. "That is fine with me. Do you have any objections Kyrk?" Tyrranis looks at him, and for a moment the Giganto's eyes glimmer. Almost as if daring Kyrk not to bring along the clairvoyant.

Kyrk doesn't look like he has a straight answer right off the bat. He looks... tired, all of a sudden. After a few moments, he nods in affirmation. "She is free to do as she pleases, as are you and anyone else. I've not come here to order anyone around, just to inform of situations as they arise. If it were even something as simple as a 'Hey, we saw him over here last night...' notion, that would even be excellent, as well."

You say 'If nothing else, I appreciate that you had a few minutes to hear me out.'

Crossroads quietly walks over to one of the couches and takes a seat on one of the cusions, placing her hands on her knees. "I haven't seen him very much to be honest. I don't know what he is doing or where he is but last I recall he wasn't aware he was even one of us. And nothing I could say or do could convince him of this."

Tyrranis shakes his head. "It is not possible to not know that you are contracted. It sounds as if this person had a death wish, and chose one of the most destructive ways possible to carry it out." Tyrranis rests on the sofa and sighs. "All the more reason to destroy him. If he drives himself willingly towards corruption then he is more of a danger than I thought."

Kyrk gets to his feet a bit roughly. "Perhaps we can delve on this a bit more thoroughly, even ask Kyuubey if he has any better leads, tomorrow. At the moment, however, I have to admit that I am feeling rather drained, and I need to return to the Inn for the evening. Either way, we'll make it a point to find him, then deal with it depending on what his situation is when we do." He grasps the hilt of his weapon, hoisting it over one shoulder, and nods between the two of them.

You say 'I apologize again for my mannerisms, but let us call it a night for now. We'll see tomorrow what more was can discern from all of this. I am appreciative of your time, regardless.'

Tyrranis nods to Kyrk before giving Crossroads a Look. "If we are going out to fight, it would be best to cleanse our gems while we still have seeds clear. May I see your gem Crossroads?" He pulls a grief seed out of his bat and holds his hand out to Crossroads to take her gem.

Crossroads blinks when Tyrranis asks to see her gem again, "Oh, mine's fine still, really." She lied, though not very convincingly as she would have liked. She was feeling guilty that he kept having to cleanse her gem so often lately. And with these new developments it didn't seem to make sense to waste the grief seeds they had on her. She hadn't been able to even aquire one in the last fight to replenish the supply.

Kyrk looks surprised to find out Tyrranis had been hoarding a Grief Seed or two away at this time, but maybe it was a fortunate happenstance. Last thing he wanted was to give Molly another reason to lecture him when he came home with no Seed and less than 20% purity left in his Soul Gem. Accordingly, he steps toward Tyrranis, withdrawing his considerably-darkened Gem and offering it to Tyrranis. "A good plan."

Tyrranis takes Kyrk's gem and looks it over before shaking his head and pulling out the other Grief Seed. He touches to Kyrk's, causing the gem to shine up nicely before he turns to Crossroads. "Are you sure that you do not need yours cleaned?"

"I'm sure." Crossroads said, nodding slowly. "If for some reason Ez is able to come around and accept who he is and finally take on his duties, we will need to have a grief seed for him, won't we? He's taken on a lot of corruption." She lifted her hand up ran her fingers through her hair, leaving it a little messy as a result "Though if he doesn't, then I'll use it Tyr."

Kyrk takes his Soul Gem back, replacing it on his person somewhere within the confines of his attire. "My thanks. For now, then, I'll take my leave. If you find anything else out before we have a chance to regroup, be sure and let Kyuubey or myself know. Good evening, then." He heads out the living quarters and into the hallway, letting himself out the front exit.

Tyrranis waves a goodbye to Kyrk before turning back to Crossroads. "If you are certian, then that is the way it will be." He stashes the unused seed in his bat before examining the newly used up seed. "I shall give this to the Wish Granter before we leave."

"Yes. I am certain. I'll just have to be careful until we know for certain, thats all." Crossroads offers Tyrranis a small smile, "And who knows, we could get another one between now and then. Its just silly to use it up if there is someone who might be needing it more."

Tyrranis nods at Crossroads. "Allright then." He looks around for a moment and then coughs somewhat awkwardly. "I, uh. I do not suppose you would like a hug?"

With that offer, Crossroads' smile widens. She stands up and makes her way over to the couch where Tyrranis is sitting, "I think..." Her voice waivers a little, and she seems to be on the verge of crying, "I think that is exactly what I need right now, actually." With that, she tightly wraps her arms around Tyrranis, buries her face into the crook of his neck, and closes her eyes.

Tyrranis hugs Crossroads tightly and gives a smile of his own. She seemed to really need a hug at that moment, so he stayed quiet and just let her enjoy the act.
