Free City, Truce - Fountain
A tiered fountain marks the center of Truce, water gushing from its
summit and trickling into a deep, wide basin, wrapped by a ring of benches.
Roads flow like rivers away from the fountain, and houses sprout like weeds
all around them. Not far to the east, the ocean roars in the harbor.

Kyuubey perches on the back of one of several fountainside benches, offering his vacant, red-eyed gaze off toward the harbor in the east. The general solitude of the area is a decent change of pace for typical Truce evenings around this time, and though it isn't apparent, the cat-creature could potentially be enjoying it. Or he might not be. Who knows, really?

Tyrranis steps in from the north. He's looking much better now, after having been cleaned up by Aemilia, but it looks like he'll have a set of interesting new scars down his arm to remember the encounter. He nods to Kyuubey as he notices the cat-thing, and adresses it with the respect he usually gives it. "Good day Wish Granter."

Kyuubey watches the eastern horizon for a scarce moment longer, before addressing Tyrranis, though his placement doesn't change; not immediately, anyway. "You've made a speedy recovery, I see. I sense a new presence in your domicile, a comrade? It isn't like you to just take in anyone without proving their worth, first."
Action forced.

"The situation was testy, especially in the eyes of Crossroads. She felt I needed a healer, and I was not one to disagree with her at that moment. The girl she brought back was proficient in it, if a bit lacking in skill." Tyrranis shrugs nonchalantly. "We will train her, keep her away from danger and sharpen her skills. It will be good for all of us."

Kyuubey turns at this time, to face Tyrranis fully. One ear twitches. "Your judgment is often a sound one, so I will assume this call to be the same. Your capacity for socialism is doing well for the lot of you, I must admit. This seems a fair concept that I've taken note of, as it could be assumed that this is why Kyrk and his crowd remain without major trial or nuance, as well."

Kyuubey says 'Still, I've noticed something bothering at least a few of you, from time to time, lately. Is there something else that I'm not seeing?'

Tyrranis looks to the sky for a short time before returning his gaze to Kyuubey. "There is often a worry about physical injuries, though that should be lowering soon. Besides that, the only thing I know of is a lack of cashflow. It appears both Crossroads and Lorastine are without job after our time away." Tyrranis ponders for a few moments longer.

"There is also:" Tyrranis pulls one of the gems gained from the newest witches from his bat and holds it out to Kyuubey. "This gem is filled. The other still has room on it, so we will keep it for a short time in case something goes wrong."

There is a slight pause, before Kyuubey acknowledges that he's been told, and hunches down to expose the now-glowing portal that is the red ring on his back, still looking up at him from the bench's back. "Cashflow? You mean this world's currency? I had always thought there to be plenty of this for everyone, everywhere. Am I mistaken? I do know untold amounts of it are in constant circulation."

Tyrranis deposits the seed inside of Kyuubey's back before responding to him. "Untold amounts in circulation or not, we still do not have any. I used all of what I owned to improve the state of Crossroads' house, and now we appear to be in rough times. If we cannot find a way to fix this soon, I suspect I will have to start fighting people who want to collect money from us."

"This is a problem. I am obligated, then, to try and find a solution to this problem, since I can't have such situations falling upon you, if you hope to continue to live up to your full potential. Worry hastens corruption, and I'd rather not see this happen." Kyuubey straights, sitting upright once more. "However."

Kyuubey says 'I won't take any action without your permission to do so. I am willing, and able, to remedy this situation, but I will not do so without your express consent, given how I, by now, have come to understand your disdain for 'handouts'. Is this an acceptable course of action?'

Tyrranis is torn for a while, thinking heavily on the situation at hand. However, as much as he disliked having to rely on others, he was not the only one with something at stake here. Finally, with much hesitation in his voice, Tyrranis speaks again. "I... believe that I would like your help in this Wish Granter."

"As well, then." Kyuubey gets to his feet, and does a little hop down to the bench's seat, then to the cobbles below, turning again to address Tyrranis. "If patience sits with you, give me a day or two. I will return at that time, and everything will be taken care of. Tell your comrades if you need to, but I will return in the stated time. Please hold fast until then, Tyrranis." With that, and not waiting for a further reply, Kyuubey takes off toward the south, with the typical hops and bounds that is his standard hastened movements.

Tyrranis nods to Kyuubey as he bounds off, then, after another look around the fountian, he returns to the north. He would need to talk to Crossroads at some point and let her know what was going on.
