[----TRUCE FOUNTAIN----]

Perhaps not strange at all, the week's been cold. Really cold. Snow has yet to actually fall upon the City of Truce, but there is no doubt that it is on its way. The air is calm tonight, however, blissfully allowing what few citizens still wander the streets at this hour to come and go without being harassed by the chilly temperatures TOO much. Here at Truce fountain, off to one side of a street, a small white cat-like creature is sitting on a mailbox, chest-level with a pair of people, man and woman, who are conversing therewith. They are huddled up in warm clothes and hoods, and look generally normal from any real direction. They all seem completely oblivious to everything else outside their conversation.

The onset of cold, oddly enough, doesn't seem to affect the lone unicorn making her way to the town square, though the reason why is revealed by the glint of what light is available off her metallic skin. Vinyl Scratch, as she nears the fountain, slows somewhat, bobbing her head to an unheard rhythm.

Lucy keeps herself bundled up in a large, bear-fur cloak, her wings hidden under it. She sits on a bench near the fountain, sipping little bits of hot cocoa from a thermis, thinking, her feelers twitching about. Her eyes look up at the sky as she sighs softly, bundling up a bit tighter. It is much too cold tonight!

The glow from a pair of triangular eyes peeks out from an alley, burning brighter than the mouth and nose that follow them as the pumpkinhead makes his way out of the alley. Garoth seems unhindered by the chill, actually looking rather warm in his unbuttoned overcoat, his unceasing smile literally carved onto his face as he eyes a bench, settling up instead before the fountain on the cold paving stone. He tilts his head back to glance at the stars, looking and listening for something that, quite lit

Kahleen would walk toward the fountain from the south road. She found herself standing next to the fountain, where she would look around, then to herself. Her eyes started to widen as she realizes what she has done. Kahleen removes a smoke bomb from her pocket and slams it down. *Pssss* Purple smoke begins to rise from Kahleen's feet. "Crap..." She calmly said to herself as the smoke engulfed her.

Kahleen stumbled back down the north road coughing and gagging, through chattering teeth. "The nerve gas? Oh, the nerve of you!" "Hackah-I didnt-Braaawk-mean to!" She responded to nothing. Once she made her way inside the healing house, Kahleen opened the window facing the southwest and the fountain. She climbed through making her fountain entrance right. She looked around as she fought her sickly reactions.

Clayton has been sitting on a bench for quite some time, just watching. The cat, the random people, all of it. Not that it matters much, people don't notice Clayton all that much.

A young feline creature pads into the fountain area, peering about wide a wide-eyed, fascinated expression at everything that moves. Suddenly something in particular catches the creature, a Coeurl's eye, and it dashes over to the mailbox, standing on rear paws and placing forepaws on the mailbox and addressing the creature with a similar form. "Play?"

The couple at the mailbox look somewhat taken aback (for a moment) at the other cat-like being that approaches them, unsure of whether it should be considered friend or foe. The girl holds a hand up to hide a smile, though, as it stands up on its hind paws over the mailbox, apparently amused. The cat-creature, however, looks down at Coeurl, waving his head slightly to one side and speaking much like a regular person (though, strangely, his mouth doesn't move even as words are issued forth). "Pla

"Play? I'm afraid you've confused me with some other feline who has time for things such as that. I'm sorry, but you'll have to look elsewhere, I'm a tad busy at the moment." His tone is not harsh, but slightly indignant just the same. The man scratches his head form under his hood, and the woman giggles softly. "Aw, you're such a stick in the mud, Kyuubey."

"Sometimes, you just need to take time and chill out, yo." Smiling, and settling in, Vinyl Scratch turns her head to face Kyuubey and the rest of the gathering crowd, with a faint whirring from the robotic circuitry that's replaced her neck muscles.

Garoth saw the whole fiasco with the smokebomb, laughing here and there. He stood and made his way over to Kahleen, his expression matching his mood rather well "Hello Kahleen, Sian, good of you to join me today." he can't help but chuckle as he looks around "The moogle stay at home?"

Lucy isn't sure what to make of all the people here, and pulls up the hood of the bear-cloak, her antennae poking through the eye holes. She looks about and examines the people, before catching one she missed entirely, just some kid. She stares at him for a moment before looking at the others, not really sure exactly why everyone is outside on such a cold day. She was on a mission, unfortunately, having no choice but to stay here as a scout.

Kahleen noticed Garoth and gave him a shakey smile and a wave. The not-really-there moogle arrived from the south, seeming flustered as his arms were stiff and straight, his steps heavy, his breathing rapid. "Speak of the devil!" Kahleen said as she spotted the moogle.

"Yeah...I've told you like five times DONT forget the list. I hung it on the door. It was there when you walked RIGHT by it. So...HERE!" The moogle reached upward, to pass a yellow sticky note to Kahleen. She looked down at the moogle and took the note from him. She looked at the note. "BEER!!!" was all it said. "Smile and nod. He'll calm down." Kahleen smiled at the moogle. "I already got it for you, hun. Its at home, actually!"

The moogle starred at Kahleen for a moment as she stood there smiling down at him. "...Okaaay. I'm gonna check on that. If its a wasted-IF ITS A WASTED TRIP, I'll take your head to the b-ball court and dribble SO hard that..." The moogle ranted as he made his way south agian

Clayton Clayton takes the time to look around some more at the surge of people coming to idle around the fountain. Why are they even here? There are much better places to hang out then a random fountain on a cold day, there's a perfectly good cafe not 5 minutes from here It'd probably even be warm in there. If this is where people want to be though then that's fine.

Coeurl droops visibly, ears flattening against her head. "Busy? It looks like you're just sitting there," the kitten-like creature protests obliviously. Her head swivels around to peek around the fountain area at others she can see, apparently having no idea that it's rude to stare and butt one's nose into the business of strangers.

Kyuubey disregards the playful kitten, going back to the conversation he was having. The woman seems a little sad, subconsciously reaching out to pet the poor thing's head in sympathy as she half-listens to what Kyuubey's saying. "There's little to worry about in this city, anyway. There's a group of rather-capable individuals who've set up a band, and they do their jobs fairly well. Lately, there is something of the same premise going on in Fa'Diel, but the three stationed there are still... recovering from an incident. But they'll bounce back, I'm sure. Or maybe they won't. I don't really know, it isn't truly up to me." The men glances over his shoulder toward the west, steely blue eyes flashing brightly underneath a mess of shaggy brown hair. "Well, everyone needs to take care of themselves form time to time. We're just passing through anyway, we're not lookin' to cause any trouble with the regulars. We're not supposed to think of it as territory or anything, we know, but some people kind of do, sometimes."

A shimmer in the air arrives in from the north. After a moment of observation, Helios uncloakes himself and moves closer to the fountain. "Good, no danger here..."

With a shrug, and an accompanying whirring of robotics, Vinyl Scratch turns her gaze to the sky, even as two small panels on either side of her horn seem to open of their own accord, for some of the music she's well-known for.

Garoth chuckled at the antics of the moogle "I think we need to host an intervention for him, but, look at this" he just continued to smile as an ice butterfly coalesced in mid-air before Kahleen's face, seemingly created from the crystalized water vapors of her breath, his flames flaring in excitement "See, I'm learning..."

A ways away from the fountain, down the southern boulevard, a red-shelled Koopa paced in front of the Truce bank, holding a small golden light in his hands. It didn't provide much warmth, but it was enough to keep him from stoming up and down the street, swearing loudly. He jumped when a banker opened the door with a solemn look on their face, "Tealion, I'm afriad there's nothing we can do. Your account is empty." The Koopa nearly fainted, leaning against the bank to prevent himself from falling

Kahleen blankly watched the moogle leave. "Will you tell Garoth that I'm not in the mood to speak with him?" Kahleen crossed her eyes, seeming as if she was trying to look at her nose. "He can hear you." "If YOU heard me then it should be clear that I dont want to speak with him." Kahleen looked at Garoth, trying not to laugh. "She does not what to speak with you!" Kahleen said in a faked anger voice, trying not to laugh.

Kahleen watched the butterfly take shape. She poked it. "Its not really real, Kahleen." "Still pretty awesome, though!" She distracted herself from Garoth as she looked about the fountain folk. Her eyes narrowed at each person as she scanned them. Her eyes rested on something. "That cat. It's here again." Kahleen said aloud and looked at Garoth. "He wont be any confirmation." She walked over to Kyuubey stared at it intently before simply poking him.

" E-Empty!? How? When? Why?" Tealion bombarded the banker with one worded questions, each one replied with a wordless, empathy-filled shrug until he sighed with defeat and acceptance. "A-Alright. Thank you for your time." He tipped his straw hat to the banker before shuffling his feet towards the fountain, head hanging.

Clayton has shifted his attention to the pair near the edge of the fountain, talking and reacting at.. nothing? Really if we're gonna be honest they might be crazy, But crazy is a bit cooler to watch then people idly wandering about the fountain.

Lucy just sort of watches as all the silly little people run around mindlessly. No order, not like a hive- all of them thinking so individually, only about themselves, not everyone else. Taking a look down at her cocoa, then the young boy off on the other bench, she steps up and shuffles over to Clayton with her chitinous feet. "Um, h-hello," she says, smiling with a fang-filled smile, "I am Lucy. Who you are?"

Garoth laughed a little at the absurdity of the voice "Yes, I heard her... almost as if she was talking to me" manages to hold back his snicker as the butterfly began to fly around Kahleen, flapping its icy wings, a small melt-spot where Kahleen had poked it. He lookek at the cat, looking really closely at it "Real enough... unless it's its own projected delusion... what are you doing?" stood in shock as Kahleen moved up to poke Kyuubey.

Coeurl gives a little purr and rubs her face against the hand of the sympathetic woman but, deeming conversation boring and none of them seeming interest in play, quickly loses interest and peers around the fountain area for something else to occupy herself with. She spies something interesting then and crouches before leaping into the air and trying to swat at the butterfly circling Kahleen

The man turns back around toward Kyuubey and looks like he's about to say something, but puts a hand on the woman's shoulder and ushers her aside as Kahleen comes up behind them; he raises an eyebrow at the sudden interest people (and cats) are showing at Kyuubey's presence, but doesn't say anything as Kahleen pokes him; she wasn't asking for his input, after all, and as he said, he didn't want to start anything with the locals. Kyuubey, however, doesn't seem amused by these constant interruptions, and he looks up at Kahleen as she stares at him, not blinking those red eyes even once as he is poked. "Can I help you, miss?" This time, he does sound somewhat agitated. Somewhat.

Yawning, and stretching her cybernetic forelegs, Vinyl Scratch looks over to Kyuubey with a bored expression - if mech-unicorns CAN look bored - evident in her ruby-tinted optics.

"Oh, hello Vinyl. How have you been?" Helios says as he hovers over to her. "What are you looking at over there?" He turns to follow her gaze and sees Kyuubey. "Oh, just the not- cat. Wonder what he's up to now."

Tealion climbed up and sat on the edge of the fountain, chin in his hands and thinking about how he's going to get all of his money back, as well as finding out where it went, tracking down the person who did it, then beating the sleazy rat who's responsible for this. It was at this point Tealion noticed that he was crushing a part of the fountain in his fist.

Kahleen looked down at the cat in a questionable way. "Oh, I get. You are trying to make me think you think I think you're real but in reality I think you're not. I may be crazy, cat but there is one thing I am NOT and that is crazy." Kahleen said tapping her finger on her chin. "Do you even know what you just said?" "Yeah? The cat is here every night but tell me! Dont you find it strange that I can only see the cat here, when I'm here too?"

"You...How are you supposed to-Yeah! Ya know what? Ding, ding! You got it fugured out!" Kahleen smiled at the cat...Maybe. "Yeah, I'm smarter then I'll ever know, ya know?" Kahleen stated before poking the Kyuubey agian. "The true question, Kittycat, is do you have a name or do you prefer Figmacat?" Kahleen crossed her arms awaiting an answer.

Clayton is actually a bit shocked that Lucy even noticed him, He shifts his attention from the intresting crazy people to the wasp girl. And starts to speak in a voice that borders on a whisper, "Clayton, My name's Clayton... Hello Lucy" The words come out slow. Clayton isn't good at talking.

Lucy smiles and sits down next to Clayton, sipping her cocoa and she leans in, tickling him gently with her feelers. Yes, a very young man, by the smell. "What doing here?" she asks, her english a bit broken and jumbled.

Alivyre flies towards the fountain not expecting such a crowd today. She swiftly evades colliding people around and lands gracefully on the fountain's edge for a quick drink.

Garoth walked up and tapped Kahleen on the shoulder "Uh, he isn't -your- figment... I'm pretty sure he was here before you arrived, and someone else was trying to play with him..." he gives a quiet cough as he turns his attention to Kyuubey "Though she does bring up a valid question, and if you don't mind me asking... who are you?"

As she swatted at Garoth's butterfly, Coeurl would find her paws simply passing through the frail creature, though it does leave a wave of melt which quickly freezes over as the butterfly wings its way around this way and that, the illusory ice butterfly comming to land on top of Kyuubey's ears, garoth beginning to look a little woozy.

The man and woman simply just stand off to the side as this new women gets in Kyuubey's face with seemingly-little pretense, the man holding a bit strongly onto her shoulde, perhaps protectively. They both take the moment to glance around at the others, perhaps taking in the locals to see what they may or may not be (or possibly be doing/planning), trying to make themselves as unobvious as possible in the meantime. Kyuubey himself just stares back at Kahleen, completely disregarding her self-chatter until he's addressed at the end. All people were a little insane, it wasn't really his place to judge. "My name is Kyuubey, and that is what I would prefer to be called. If you have other names, however, use them as you please, it matters very little to me. My existence is but one of many, and names are a fickle thing." Figuring his response answers Garoth's question as well, he opts not to acknowledge him otherwise, seeming like he wants to just get back to the conversation he was having a moment ago with the two people nearby.

Tealion shook the bits of brick off his glove before looking around at the people around the fountain. As long as he had been in Truce, there was always a strange bunch around the center of town and tonight was no exception, he scanned the area until he came face to face with a fairy sharing the same seat as him, to whom he accknowledged with a nod. "Ahoy, Miss."

Coeurl lands on four feet and peeks down at her paws, looking surprised to see the butterfly isn't there. She looks up and watches it reform itself as if nothing had happened. Flicking an ear, she plops down on her rear and stares up at it, watching closely as if trying to gain some understanding by observation.

Vinyl Scratch shrugs again, keeping her optics trained on Kyuubey - not that it's obvious, with the goggles covering her eyes.

Nagol is seen walking backwards out of the Healer's Dome, he says to some people inside it, "Take good care of Ivane, alright? I am also leaving you in charge of protecting Ivane, M32. I'll try to get back as soon as possible." Nagol turns and jogs over to the fountain area. He stops to think for a second, before puttin a piece of paper into his backpack. Instead of calling his Warp Star, he jumps up into the air and puffs up into a balloon and flies off towards Fountain of Dreams.

Kahleen looked at Coeurl attacking the butterfly. She 'Hmm'ed aloud. It was clear to her now that it two kittycatties were involved. "I see. You have created an immaculate to distract me from what is really happening here or not really happening here, I should say." She smiled at Kyuubey and pointed at him. "Clever, Figmacat but I'm afraid that I have you bested this round. I'll leave you here to get more creative with your names."

Kahleen 'Pfff'ed and chuckled as she made her was to the bench, beckoning Garoth to join her. She sat down next to Clayton and nudged him over to make room for Garoth to sit, as he looked like he needed it. "Whatcha got there? Is that a bug?" Kahleen looked down at Lucy. She shrugged and looked to see if Garoth could make it to a seat.

Alivyre finished filling her small canteen with water and was suddenly startled by the sudden sound of a voice beside her. She flinched a little and looks at the koopa resting on the fountain beside her. "Uh, hello there, Mister." she responds getting over her inital shock.

Clayton scoots away from Lucy, freaked out from being touched. His voice is softer then before, which wasn't that loud to begin with. " I'm just watching and listening, It's my job. No one notices me much, It's not hard to do"

Helios chuckles as he watches Kyuubey get accosted by Garoth and Kahleen. "Well, he certantly looks irritated. Oh, there they go." He watches at the duo abandon talking to Kyuubey and head over to a bench. "Anyway, we haven't seen hide not hair of you for a few weeks. Where were you hiding?"

Lucy giggles. "Oh, that is the job of Lucy also!" she says, before her eyes lock on something- An adorable little fairy! Before she even knows it she's shuffled all the way over to the little fairy girl, her feelers tickling all over the girl, but she is careful to avoid the wings. "Oh happy days! What cute little fairy you are, small, small very!" she says, excited, her feelers still twitching as she pulls back away from the girl, before pointing at herself, "Lucy!"

"I'm terribly sorry about that" Garoth gave a small bow to Kyuubey before following Kahleen, the butterfly taking off from Kyuubey's ear, probably not noticed by it as it came to rest on Coeurl's nose, flexing its wings and looking decidedly more solid. Garoth ruffled Coeurl's headfur a little in passing "Thake care of it for me, will you?" he smiled down at the feline before continuing on after Kahleen, sitting down beside the bench, he leaned back against it and looked up to watch the stars again.

Kyuubey watches the Kahleen leave, not bothering to correct her assumptions one way or another. His eyes shift toward Helios a short distance away at being addressed as such, as the hooded man and woman ease up slightly at Kahleen's departure. "Fa'diel. I have been watching the trio situated there, seeing that they reestablish themselves after Kyrk's demise. As much as some people would think otherwise, I cannot be in two places at once, and frankly, even I prefer to be in places where my presence is appreciated and looked forward to. My line of work may not be morally reprehensible, but it gets tiring dealing with all the negative publicity all the time." The woman leans in close to the man's head at that moment, whispering something as her brown eyes glance toward the south.

Tealion glanced over at the waspling, lifting his hat out of the way of his eyes to make sure he wasn't seeing things. Like I said before, there was always a strange bunch, or a strange someone, hanging around the fountain. He watched she feelers search the fairy's body, both in curiousity and a general strange feeling.

Coeurl blinks, eyes crossing to stare at the butterfly now perched on her nose. She lifts her paw and gingerly pokes at it to test whether it's solid or not and momentarily pondering whether to try eating it. Then she processes Garoth's statement and her higher functions override instinct, the feline padding over to Garoth. "How d I take care of it? What does it eat?"

Clayton shrugs helplessly and moves over, I don't know exactly, I thinks she's a scout" Again, the words are slow and quiet, blunt. Clayton tries to watch Kyyubey while talking, it's still quite clear he's bad at talking.

Alivyre was expecting a response from the koopa before she was suddenly surprised by the appearance of a insect woman feeling her up with the girl's feelers. It tickled her a bit as she resisted giggling.

Alivyre looks at the girl as she points to herself and smiles politely. "Alivyre." she replied pointing to herself wondering if this was the customary greeting for her kind.

Lucy giggles and smiles wide, all of her fangs showing. "Aliv... Alvy... Alivar?" she says, before scruching her nose, "No, not right... Sorry, english... Not very good with english. Used to communicating with smells. Lucy may call you Ali?" She pulls her bear-skin cloak around herself tighter, shivering a little from the cold, her feelers still flicking at the air near Alivyre.

Tealion wasn't paying much attention, he was busy trying to pull a stray gold coin from in between the bricks of the fountian. "Come on. Come to Pappa.." He muttered under his breath, tugging as hard as he could.

Kahleen put her arms on Clayton's shoulders with one hand and dropped a silver coin on his leg with the other hand. "OOPS! Oh, clumsy is me." Kahleen said in a dull, monotone voice. She reached down and put her hand on Clayton's leg to feel if anything was in his pocket before taking the coin back.

"Careful, Kahleen. He has a laser pistol in his hand." Kahleen looked at Clayton's hand, on his other side. Sure enough, there was a pistol in his hands and his finger was on the trigger. As he spoke, all Kahleen heard was "I don't know exactly. I have a layzor gun, though." Kahleen scowled at him. "Is that a threat, kid?!" she asked in a raised voice.

Vinyl Scratch turns back to Helios, trotting over with a steady but faint whirring of her robotic joints, even as she casts a passing glance at Tealion with her optics. All the while, the speakers built in on either side of her horn continue blaring with heavy metal.

The butterfly pacnicked, fliting through the finger, its body a little melted but it reformed as before, settling down on top of Coeurl's head. Garoth looked over at the questioning feline and chuckled, reaching out to pet her cheek as the butterfly took off again and flitted around her, landing on one of her ears "I'm not certain it needs to eat much at all, just try not to let it fly into any flames"

Garoth tilted his head back to look up at Kahleen "Doesn't she usually see weapons everywhere?" his voice was a little slower than usual, and he gave a shake his pumpkin to try clearing it.

Helios stares back at her. "Hmmm... You seem oddly quiet today." He pauses for a second. "Well, vocally at least."

Alivyre giggles and nods "its ok, you are close enough." she replies giving a smile of reassurance.

The man considers what the woman's whispered to him for a moment, then nods in confirmation. Turning back to Kyuubey, he adjusts his hood somewhat. "Kyuu, we're going to find an inn for the night. It's a bit cold and we're not sure how far off the next village or town is, so I'm going to take Miriam and hole up somewhere until morning." 'Miriam' glances up at the man, smiling faintly as Kyuubey tilts his fuzzy little head, earpendages waving gently from the motion. "Not the worst of ideas. Winter will be upon us soon, best to take all due preparations for whatever journey you have in mind. Likely that I will see you on the morrow then, Johnathan, Miriam." Kyuubey retains his perch on the mailbox, not seeming to mind the cold temperature around him.

"I'm just chillin' out to my own beats, dude. And the comin' of Old Pony Winter? Psh, that's nothin' to me, now that I'm a cyber-DJ." Vinyl Scratch bobs her head back and forth, grinning all the while, even as the music changes to dubstep she's known for producing on her own time.

Lucy smiles and nods, continuing to stare at Alivyre. "Such beautiful wings, I feel my wings must be so sad," she says, smiling, "Ali's wings are nice. Oh! But Lucy interrupted, sorry!" She looks over at the turtle next to Alivyre, and takes a few steps back, before sipping her cocoa.

Tealion yanked the coin out with a 'Ah-ha!' and ended up falling over, onto the cobblestone street, gold coin still gripped between his fingers. He quickly stood up, brushing his shell off and looking at the two girls. "Sorry about that. I'm a little tight for money right now." He explained, extending a hand for one of them to shake, hopefully. "Tealion, though most everybody calls me Teal."

"Ah, there you go. We were about to get worried." Helios seems to smile. "As for Winter, it shouldn't be a problem for us either. The cold may affect a few systems on the Nakajamur, however. The M85 is busy weatherproofing the damaged areas of the transport today." Helios looks back north as he says that.

Clayton looks at Kahleen, confused. "I don't. What?" He ignored the silver and tries to move away from Kahleen, he doesn't like being touched... also she's crazy, it doesn't take a scientist to see that. Unless he really was threatning her... maybe it's a slang word he said. There's lotsa those he doesn't know about.

"Tell the plant not to talk about me, please." Kahleen ignored...herself as she looked at Clayton in disgust. She gripped Clayton's shoulder tighter as he tried to move, while she attempted to remove something from his pocket with the other. "Look at me, Kiddo. LOOK AT ME!" She paused to take a deep breath and hold it while she started to withdraw her hand to her own pocket, hopefully with something to add to her collection.

Kahleen cleared her throat. "If you dare shoot me, I'll die, yes BUT that wont be the end of it-OH NO, NO! I'll keep the portal open that will pull me into the next dimension and take you with me, my hands around your neck, choking you for the ride and maybe even longer. The choice is yours and I reccomend NOT choosing option B...Or A...Or whichever the choking one was...Wait." Kahleen looked off to the side and thought for a moment. "Yeah!" She pointlessly added.

The pair offer Kyuubey a short wave and a brief glance back at the rest of the fountain's entourage before departing toward the south, hustling a little bit as the air becomes increasingly colder with the night pressing on. Kyuubey remains where he is as they leave, poofy tail waving around his body as he glances back toward the north, blinking only a single time.

Coeurl headtilts at Garoth, but is distracted by the obvious sense of conflict nearby. The feline backs up several feet away from Kahleen, ears splaying as she puts distance between herself and the volatile woman.

Helios continues looking North, though it is now clear that he is recieving some sort of wireless telemetry. He turns back to Vinyl. "It seems that the M85 is having an issue with some of the equipment. We will have to go and help it work the problem out, so we must bid you a good, if somewhat cold, night." Helios hovers north, dissappearing from view a short distance away.

"Me, quiet, for too long? Dude. I'm hardly about blendin' in and bein' hard to see. Livin' loud is my life, and I'm proud of it! How would I be DJ Pon-3 if I just lived a quiet life?" Vinyl Scratch steps over to some seemingly abandoned boxes and rustles through them before pulling her turntable out to set it up. "See you, dude."

Having his head tilted back like this was very comfortable, the sky and the stars taking in his gaze as the edges of his vision began to darken "maybe... a little nap...." Garoth lay there, rather relaxed where he was at the moment, letting the stars wink out from his vision one by one.

Alivyre jumps a little when Tealion suddenly outbursts with a coin in his hand. She was a bit shocked that he would bother even picking change out of the fountain, wasn't that something like a sacred wish of a person? She disreguarded that for a moment and shook his finger. "Nice to meet you."

Lucy reaches her antennae out and tickles Tealion's shell a little, before looking back at Alivyre, then Tealion again. "Nice to meet both you," she says, holding out her thermis of cocoa, "Want cocoa? Cocoa has teeny mashymallows!"

Clayton was panicked now, he just watches and listens. He doesn't talk to people, he doesn't fight people and he most certainly does not get yelled at by people. If Kahleen was robbing him right now, he wouldn't notice. He's way outside his comfort zone. "Get away from me!" his voice is raised louder then it was, still not around the amount of noise normal people make when they talk but it's closer.

Tealion looked the coin over in his hands. "Lucy was it? No tha-" He paused for a moment then looked up, digging an empty ale tankard from his shell. "Aye. I need something sweet to cheer me up." He said, handing the tankard up for Lucy to fill.

Once she's got the turntable fully set up, Vinyl Scratch steps behind it and flips a switch to turn the machine on before resting her metallic forehooves atop the records installed on her equipment. "Comin' from yours truly, DJ Pon-3, the best beats this side of Truce, and Equestria!" At the same time, the speakers now built into her forehead fall silent, so as not to interfere with the turntable's own speaker system.

Kahleen felt the journal she stole from Clayton in her pocket, not sure what it really was. "Its a box of chocolates! Best day!" Kahleens demeanor completely changed and she was lit up and cheerful. "Dont those turn into ash in your mouth?" "Yeah but I can smell them from time to time!" Kahleen said in response to...nothing. She looked over at Clayton who was almost in panic mode.

"Oh...Right." Kahleen's smile was carried over to the boy. She hugged him and released her grip from his shoulder, withdrawing her arm. She looked down at Garoth who had fallen asleep, it seemed. The moogle came in from the south agian. "I went home and guess what I found?" "No be-" "-NO BEER! Why am I not surprised. You've killed me in life and now you are killing me in the afterlife. You are just a natural born killer."

Kahleen slouched as her smile started to fade. She looked back to Clayton. "Hey you! I'll see you around, Kay?" she said seeming to have completely forgotten what transpired between herself and the boy. Kahleen stood up and looked at the moogle. "Its there, I guess I'll show you!" Kahleen rubbed Garoth's head as she walked passed him to the south. Leaving with the moogle.

Coeurl is starting to look a bit agitated, ears flat more often than not and tail whipping around wildly. All the yelling and the loud music is a bit overwhelming on her sensitive feline ears. Her tentacle-whiskers wave about before she springs up next to Garoth's head and pokes at his face with a paw. "Hey, are you alright?"

Shaken up from the experience Clayton stands and leave, he was in a panic, but soldiers don't cry. He's not gonna dissapoint his older siblings over something like this. Whatever Kyyubey was doing he'd figure it out later, one of the shadows would've seen it.

Garoth's flames flickered somewhat from both the pumpkin rub and the paw poking, tilting his head at the kitten and smiling (as if he ever stops with a carven face) "Oh, hi... Yeah, just... a little sleepy or something." he looked around for Kahleen, seeing her headed off for home, he gave a wide yawn "I guess I... dozed off a moment."

Alivyre looks at the hot cocoa for a bit, wondering if she sould accept, but it might be too hot for her. She shook her head in fear of burning herself.

Kyuubey notes the crowd starting to break up at this time, and though he had little interest in the group before, he certainly has none now. Candidates were becoming a rarity here, lately, anyway, especially after he'd been made aware of Rarity's fall to the corruption. A sad state of affairs it was, but he kind of guessed it would turn out as such. Oh well. He hops down from the mailbox, tail flicking lightly as he bounds off toward the north. A lull in the state of things once in awhile didn't hurt anything, he surmised.

Lucy frowns when Alivyre denies the cocoa, but pours a bit into Tealion's tankard, before picking a marshmallow out with her fingers very carefully, holding it out as an offering to Alivyre. "Mashymallow?" she asks, her feelers twitching as she watches Alivyre rather closely.

Clayton rushes off south, most likely to find a bed or a hole of some kind to hide in for a few hours while he trys and sorts things out.

Alivyre reaches and takes the soft fluffy treat. "Thank you." she replies as she holds the marshmellow in her hands and takes a small bite out of it.

"Man, such a vibe-killin' crowd..." With an exasperated groan, Vinyl Scratch shuts the turntable off and starts putting it away so she can return to her temporary shelter in Finn's house.

Tealion drank the cocoa, closing his eyes, letting the warm feeling flood his small body. "That's much better. Thank you." He retook his seat on the fountain's edge, going back to brewing a plan to regain his fourtune.

Coeurl nods, looking a bit relieved as the music shuts off and things seem to be calming down. "Oh." She lifts her nose in the air and sniffs, catching hot cocoa and marshmallow scents among other things... too sweet for her tastes.

Garoth sat up a little straighter, reaching over to stroke at Coeurl again "What's your name little one?" the butterfly took off, flitting about again to land on the tip of Coeurl's tail

Lucy smiles and nods, closing her thermis, putting it away inside her cloak. "Many welcomes," she says, standing up straight, before pulling off her cloak for a moment to stretch her wings. On her torso is a small studded-leather tunic, while around her waist she has a belt with multiple satchels. A short lance, not much more than a two feet long, is attached to her hip.

Coeurl curls up against Garoth's side, sharing heat. Even for one in a fur coat, it was a rather chilly night. "Name...? Oh, how I'm called. It's Coeurl, I think." She catches sight of the butterfly on her tail as it swishes around, but lets it be this time.

Garoth scritched along Coeurl's ears as he chuckled again, the butterfly on her tail simply flexing its wings now "I'm Garoth. You're a very pretty kitty." his mind was still in something of a fog as he sat there, looking about.

Tealion looked over at both girls again. "I've been around Truce for a while, but I can't say I've seen you around, Lucy." He said, taking a sip of the cocoa. "Then again, I do take long journies out of town for more loot." Teal chuckled lowly, then sighed again, reminded of his lost fortune.

A warm purr arises from the Coeurl. "Have you seen my mother?" she mewls questioningly.

Garoth continued to stroke and scritch at Coeurl's ears "I'm sorry kitten, but I don't believe I've seen anyone resembling you at all..." he petted down along her side as he stayed relaxed against the side of the fountainside bench.

Lucy nods her head at Tealion. "Lucy not from here," she says, nodding, "So of course Lucy is not seen."

Coeurl seems to accept this response in stride. "I didn't think so." The feline gets up and stretches out, flexing muscles from tailtip to toes, and yawns with sharp fangs showing. "Well, I'll see ya around. I'm gonna find someplace warm."

"Makes sense" Tealion was only half listening. He was really going through the locations of some of his favorite hidey-holes, for his not-so-important loot, but each one of them was like his bank account, picked clean. He finished his cocoa and tucked the tankard into his shell, giving Lucy a small smile. "Thanks again, Miss."

The little butterfly flitted about to land on Coeurl's mid-back. Garoth frowned a little as he got up, making his way after the feline "Maybe I'll join you... it's a cold night, and I don't really have anywhere to rest. I do know of a cave nearish..." he gave a small shrug, his head feeling less strained for some unknown reason.

Lucy nods and looks around, before pulling the cloak back on. "Lucy should get back to her post. Many thanks for conversation, Liontea," she says, shuffling off to walk around Truce.

"Actually, it's.." Tealion stopped trying to correct the waspling, he had a feeling it wouldn't help too much. "CLose enough, I suppose" He looked around, cracking his knuckles. "I suppose I could cancel my room at the inn, get a small refund to help me out. I'll have to find someplace warm to stay, though." He muttered to himself, jumping to his feet and making his way towards Truce Inn, ideas still swimming in his head.
