Free City, Truce - Fountain
A tiered fountain marks the center of Truce, water gushing from its
summit and trickling into a deep, wide basin, wrapped by a ring of benches.
Roads flow like rivers away from the fountain, and houses sprout like weeds
all around them. Not far to the east, the ocean roars in the harbor.

Night has creeped over the city of Truce, justified by the shortening of days as colder temperatures seek to mingle with the dominating darkness. Citizens are bundled up as they scurry from place to place, and a gentle, if somewhat chilly wind rustles past on occasion, hurrying them along. At this moment, a small white cat-like creature has made itself a perch on the back of one of the benches, glancing northward with a familiar look of odd interest in his bright red eyes. The critter makes nary a sound or word, though for those that now him, his face generally speaks volumes in and of itself.

Kent was sitting on one of the fountenside benches, habitually polishing his sword again. His face seemed recently washed, removing the dirt and soot that often clung to it. Occasiounally he'd scratch his face, which had begun to grow the begginings of a beard. Despite him starting to settle down and get a job, he hadn't bothered shaving since the party.

Iccarus isn't exactly near the fountain. He's actually a bit off to the side. Messing with some overly large device, Lord knows how he got it here. It has lights and of all things gears. Not to mention the steam valve at the top which is giving little puffs of smoke. There's a slight frown on his face as he continues tinkering with it's innards.

"...Well, at least we got those cores etched." The M85 whistles its assent as it follows Helios into the square. The two appear to have been conversing on the way in from the canyons. Helios notices the man working on something a little ways off from the fountain. "What on Mechonis is that ungodly thing?"

Sighing, feeling lonely, sits Sweetie Belle by the fountain. The fall color and the leaves falling on their own reminding her just how different things were from her home demension. To make matters worse, these leaves also reminded her of her hometown's tradition known as 'The Running of the Leaves'

Kahleen would approach the fountain but stop short at the bank. The imaginary, ghostly moogle screamed "WATER!!!" before running to the fountain and diving in, creating no splash at all. Kahleen reached into her pocket and removed a smoke bomb. "We cant let them know which way we came." Kahleen said to no one in particular. She wound her arm back.

The chilly breeze doesn't affect the badass moogle sitting upon a bench near the fountain. Despite it being night out, he just sits there looking cool with his shades.

Kahleen throw the smoke bomb somewhere near the fountain *Pifff!* and torpedoed herself into the pop of smoke. She stood there in the smoke, coughing and gagging. "Maybe-GAK-That-PAH-Pooh-Was a bad idea..." The smoke cleared and Kahleen wiped tears from her eyes as she looked around.

Mula peeks into the Fountain area, and scampers into the area quickly, to try and avoid detection. Uh oh...people. And suddenly, that plan was tossed out the window like a rag doll being tossed into a toy chest. Maybe if she quietly makes her way to the fountain, nobody will see her?

Garoth would make his way in, looking a little more twitchy than usual, his flames somewhat dimmed. To describe him as far as pumpkinhead emotions can be described, he would look panicked. Walking toward the smoke plume, a nondescript human head floating around him (though, theres very few people who would notice it beyond Kahleen) "Why... why did I listen to him..." the floating head just cackles //"You're such a sentimental fool, please, it was an easy enough decision to predict."//

The cat-creature continued his northward-bound vigil, poofy tail only swatting a couple of times at the air around him. He glanced to one side just for a moment at Sweetie's sigh, before returning his attention where it was before. No doubt she was upset over her sister's fall to the corruption; he'd seen it enough times by now that even if he DID have the capacity to care, he would have been hardened over it by now. It was a common thing for those who signed a contract and then neglected their dduty, and Rarity was just the latest in a line of neverending failures. Oh well, it couldn't be helped; people always want something for nothing, it seems. He blinked once, the coy little half-smile on his face betraying no real emotion, similar to that which cats generally possess.

Mula mkes it to the fountain. Thank goodness that nobody has saw her yet, or paid much attention to her at this point in time. She leans against the fountain's rim, staring into the water, pausing briefly to drink from the fountain...and watching the ripples it creates. A soft sigh escapes her lips, but she just keeps on staring. She's lost in thought, possibly.

Iccarus continues tinkering with the machine, "Infernal Contraption. how the blazes did yo- ah yes Eureka! I have you figured out now you Mechanical beast!" the lighs lining the device all light up at once and then begin blinking in a real and noticeable pattern. To counterset this look of sucsess a large steady trail of smoke rises from the valve and smoke also explodes from where Iccarus is working. Causing him to reel backwards coughing as he shuts the door back up.

"What on Mechonis are you doing?" Helios stared blankly at the man as he fell backwards, coughing.

Kent glanced to his side to notice the sudden puff af smoke. From out of it, Kahleen and Garoth seemed to come out. He chuckled at Kahleen's discomfort with the smoke screen, "You get used to smoke filled lungs," He said with a vauge smile. He then turned his whole side when he noticed Garoth's twitching. The pumpkinhead was usually pretty calm, but now he seemed off. Kent stood up and walked over confusedly. "Hey, Garoth!" he snapped his fingers, "What's got ya?"

Kahleen did a triple blink before walking over to the fountain and checking on the moogle. He was floating on his back in the water with a blank expression. Kahleen asked "Are you okay?". The moogle took a deep, fake breath before saying "Does that question need a response?" Kahleen decided it was best for him to have his 'alone time'. She turned looking at garoth.

Kahleen walked over to Garoth, noticing Kent along the way. Her eyes ran in circles trying to chase the head. "Whats uh...Whats going on here?" She asked Garoth. She looked over at Kent "Hiya Kent!" She said smiling as if everything was normal before turning back to Garoth. "Look, Garoth these things are everywhere but if you are anything like dad, you should have an off switch" She said frowning.

"Oh... hey there Kent, just... nothing too bad. I just have to get used to something" Garoth glanced over at the cat, his flames flickering a little bit before he covered the triangular eyeslots of his pumpkins "Gods.... oh gods... not another one." //"Nope, that ones real, really really really-"//c the head continued to repeat for a little while, bobbing and babbling around Garoth //"-really insane... er, really real"//.

Garoth looked up at Kahleen, his pumpkin tilted up hopefully, his voice a half-whimper "I can turn them off...?

The cat-critter hops down from his perch onto the cobbles below, sitting up straight and wrapping his tail around himself, all while still eyeing the northern avenue. A strange vigil he kept, but his adamant stance had to be admired. The thing seems completely oblivious to the goings-on behind him, fountain antics and smoking creations included. It was just another evening of goofy people doing goofy things in their attempts to siphon some meaning out of the day and add it to their own life's experiences.

Iccarus looks at the ball and giving his best showman smile exclaims. "I'm glad you asked little..." he frowns for a second looking at the ball"Little whatever you are. because what I have here will revolutionize the way people travel! THE ENTITY RECLAMATION SNATCHER 9000! Just another brilliant invention in my long line of inventions! It's what I've been working on for weeks since I fell into this fantastical land of magic and mystery." he pauses for a moment looking pleased with himself.

Mula looks up and around the square. Many different creatures around the fountain. She quietly slips around the fountain and finds a bench on the quiet side and sits down. Fidgeting a little, she climbs onto the bench, oblivious to the strange at sitting on the rim of the fountain. In fact, he doesn't seem to concern her at all currently.

Helios begins scanning the smoking device. "And you think that this thing will revolutionise travel? What is it supposed to do anyway?" Helios hovers down and peers into the open compartment on the side, not bothered by the smoke streaming out of it. "It looks more like some sort of millitary grade smokescreen to us."

"Turn what off?" Kent looked at Kahleen skeptically. He had known her to randomly shout some things that he didn't quite understand, but Garoth begining to do so was a new. Kent scratched his head and tried to think of a solution. He knelt down and offered a cigar to Garoth. "Here, try this. It always calms me down a bit," He said, not sure if a pumpkinhead even had the ability to smoke.

Kahleen tapped a finger on her chin as she thought about it. "Just let him run his spiral until his mind is completely gone." Kahleen's concentration went unbroken before she lit up. *Light Bulb!* "Hey! If you just lick a dirty sock, the fumes will have a chemical react-No...Yeah-no that was something else, ENTIRELY!" She said before returning to her contemplation.

Kahleen looked at Kent and to answer his question she leaned over and licked Kent's stubble, where he hadn't shaved. Why would someone do that? She then glanced at the head to see if it was still there. "Nope. Thats not gonna work either. "Tell him to close his eyes and clear his mind so his task of slaying you becomes clear, yet again." "GAROTH, IF YOU EVER-I mean just clear your mind. Take your time with it."

The cat-thing allows himself a moment to look up at Mula, where she'd taken a spot on the bench he'd just leapt down from. He studies her for only a moment, as if just to gauge something, but invariably returns his red-eyed gaze north without making a sound, earpendages waving lightly from the toss of his head. Too much back luck with this crowd in recent months, he was going to have to look elsewhere for potentially decent contracts, it seemed.

Sweetie could not vomit, but those disgusting actions... Ugh... Seeing that was sure to make someone swear off of eating for quite awhile "Would you all mind if I call the fire department? I feel distressed that there is a lot of smoke around here. Somehow it's even more unsetteling without mogwai."

Garoth looked up at Kahleen before nodding "Worth a try I guess..." his flames begin to flicker as he stares off a ways, watching the fountain almost obsessively //"Hey, wait, what do y-"// the head would begin to slowly fade from his reality, like viewed through a fog, before it disappeared entirely, probably not even affecting anybody else in the sleightest when it -was- about.

Mula o9ffered the creature a passing glance, however, she doesn't say much. She has two options here...either open her mouth and get dragged into something that she'll probably have to back out of ANYWAY...or two, she just stays quiet and hopes that nothing bad happens. Number 2 it is!

Iccarus chuckles at the ball and turns back to his machine. "The ERS 9000! uses my own design to harness the magic flitting about this amazing land, and channels it into. a magnet of sorts. All I need to do is scan the signature of something and wellah! I can summon it to this very location any amount of time later. Now just last week while taking a walk through the forest, I saw a strange beast. A skeleton of sorts like out of some sort of fantasy book. I scanned it just for the sake of scanning it but I got to thinking. There has to be some stable type of magic animating such a creature. So sit back and watch as I. THE "AMAZING ICCARUS" pull this beast here and take it's power right before your eyes!

Iccarus begins pulling out levers and turning them, as well as pressing random buttons around the device. The device begins to whirr and shake and the smoke cloud overhead gets a lot thicker and blacker. The noise it's making is just dreadful. Sparks are flying every which way and that as well.

Helios flickers his lens. "Uh... You are going to teleport a skeleton creature into the middle of Truce? Is that even remotely safe?" A little ways off, the M85 locked its pincer together into its buzz saw and shifted nervously.

Slowly, as Iccarus' machine warms up, the ambient tempurature of the area grows more and more, air shifting as a heat haze localizes on the ERS 9000, before exploding!

Knochen steps from the small confligration, looking this way and that at the grouped fountian crowd. His chassis, glowing red hot, slowly spits and hisses at the air as it rapidly cools down. The skeleton turns, and examines the person closest to it, Iccarus.

Kent rubbed his cheeks where Kahleen had licked him, amused by the act. It wasn't something Kent was used to, but the random antics of Kahleen were endearing. As Garoth seemed less panicked, he stood back on his feet and placed the cigar back in the box on his hip. He placed an arm around Kahleen casually and spoke to Garoth. "You feeling better? You looked pretty shaky there for awhile."

The cat-thing averts his attention from the north for a moment, gingerly lifting his face and sniffing a couple of times at the air. On the side of his intent, Rarity's corruption meant that she was now a lurking danger, and no telling where she could pop up. He wasn't overly concerned given her likely lack of ability, but Witches were dangerous nevertheless. He'd been unwilling to admit it, but Kyrk's death came as a surprise to even him. If someone like him could go down with as little a fight, he wasn't sure he could risk not being alert elsewise. The massive explosion behind him does draw his attention, however, something even he couldn't ignore too easily. What WAS it with people and blowing things up, anyway? Goodness.

The moogle peeked his head out of the fountain looking at Kent. The moogle made several attempts to swing his stubby, little leg over the fountains edge. After a few trying attempts, he flopped over and popped right back to his feet and joined the circle. "So, five silver says something worse comes back to him." the moogle said before leaning over to Kahleen. "< Could I borrow five silver? >" He asked in a whisper.

Kahleen looked down at the moogle "No-shup up! You're not helping." Kahleen agitatedly snapped back. The moogle shrugged. "Fine! I'm just gonna..." The moogle looked around, his eyes fixating on Kent."I'm just gonna WAIL on this guy until I get bored." The moogle drew his fist back, facing Kent, and was checking Kahleens reaction.

Kahleen ignored the moogle and snatched the cigar from Kent's pocket and put it in her teeth, as she has seen it done. She started puffing on it but nothing happened. "Cho' how dish wawk?" She asked, her words muffled by the cigar. Kahleen saw the strange things happening around her but to her, it was just a normal night. Maybe even more calm then most. She glanced up at Garoth and saw the head was gone. She clapped. "Gaw faw you!"

Iccarus stands up, dusting himself off. "IT WORKED! mostly. I'll need to tweak the design a bit but who cares! That's a matter for a diffrent day after I rebuild the ERS!" takes out his pistol and aims it at the beast. "Now watch! as I reduce this hulking monstrosity to nothing but a pile of bones! Iccarus fires the pistol device and in a flashing display of insane color! nothing happens. nothing at all. *click click*

Mula also hears the explosion, and her head snaps over to the source. There..she sees a..skeleton? What that thing was, she wasn't even sure...but she gets up and slowly makes her way closer to it, curious as to what it might be.

Knochen steps forwards, closing distance with Iccarus and turning it's head from side to side examining both the pistol and it's wielder. Slowly, it raises one hand to it's chest while it walks, clenching it into a fist.

Helios tries desperately to facepalm like he has seen others do, but is completly unable due to his lack of limbs and the fact that he was knocked back by the blast. "Your machine blew up and nearly killed us and you summoned that... thing, and you call this a success?" Helios decides not to ask whether or not the man is insane, as he is pretty sure about the answer already.

Iccarus looks visibly distraught as he walks backwards from the monster banging on his pistol, he says quietly to himself, "Blasted device, not now." he turns back towards the various onlookers. " DOn't worry folks! just a minor hiccup just give me one moment and I'll have it all sorted out! After all I'm the amazing ICCAR-!

Knochen reaches it's balled fist out, extending it's claws again. Once they touch Iccarus' chest, the skeleton quite calmly inserts them into his chest, not seeming to care much for the difficulty of passing the man's flesh or organs.

Iccarus coughs up blood. Tears streaming down his face, He looks down at his gun and laughs. "I seem to have forgotten to turn the safety off... His eyes begin to close as he quietly says the word. "Remarkable."

"Yeah, I think I'm" At the sound of the explosion, he looked over at Knochen, and found himself staring... "It should have worked, should have worked to clear the delusions, Kahleen said it would..." Garoth gave another disbelieving whimper as he tried to keep himself from wobbling over backwards.

The small white critter watches these events with little concern one way or another, though he gathered with the ease that this creature was actively dispatching his summoner, he could likely stand to be unconcerned somewhere else. In so doing, thus, he turns tail and flees northward, tail, earpendages and golden rings flailing about his furry white body as he ambles out of sight.

Laughing, Kent pulled a match from his tinderbock and struck it alight. "Here, let me help" he said to Kahleen, lighting the cigar. Suddenly, he heard the loud bang and turned to notice a metalic demon enter. He instantly drew his sword and sheild and assumed a position in which he could charge it. "Finally!"

Knochen steps closer to Iccarus, before shoving his arm deeper inside the man's chest. With a quick and violent motion, the skeleton rips a handfull of viscera from his chest before taking hold of his pistol. A loud 'Click' announces the safety being turned off.

Mula blinks at the giant metal skeleton that appeared before her and basically showed it to be hostile. She glances at the barely touched red flower in her hand. She doesn't want to have to do it..but if she's next, well, little choice then.

"You really must... Oh. Oh dear. That can't be good for your bowling average." Helios hovers back nervously. "So, ummm... How are things going, skeleton robot fellow?" Helios slowly slips behind the M85.

The chilly breeze previously pervading the area seems to have come to a still at this time, calming the air but still leaving the night just as eerily cold.

Knochen rams Iccarus' pistol into his mouth, shattering several teeth along the way, before pulling the trigger on the odd weapon. Then, it rips it's hand out of the man's body before turning around and glaring down the rest of the fountain crowd. Helios and his robot catch Knochen's eye in particular.

Iccarus opens his eyes one last time.. Just in time for the pistol to explode in his face. causing his head to explode. The various blood and gore bits didn't last long however as they quickly begin to age rapidly before turning to dust. a small beam of light shines from the dust and begins flowing into Knochen.

Helios shifts uneasily as the skeletak killing machine turns its attention onto him. "Now, no need to do anything rash. We can talk this out." The M85 takes a defensive stance as its buzz saw whirs into action, though it makes no move to attack. Helios has withdrawn fully behind the M85 by now.

Ivane walks in from the North, with a mix of worry and confusion on his face.

Life can be cruel as another victim falls into the clutches of the cleft. Something began to approach the fountain area from far above. Particularly, in the skeletal robot's direction.

It was none other than a can of Oldspice body spray, offering power to those who would apply it upon their smelly armpits.

Kent noticed how the beast mearly inserted his hand into it's victom. No force was needed, no effort. It was... godlike. Inspiring. He had never seen a demon come anywhere close to that form of power. He straightened, sheathed his sword, and strapped his shield back onto him. He turned around, an angry tear running down his face. "Garoth., once you told me that I should hold myself to honor. I hope you understand, I have broken my vows once, I'm doing it again." He walked back and looked Kahleen in the eyes. Another tear ran down the demon hunter's cheek. "Kahleen..." He began to say, "I have never seen a force like that, and I can't fight it." He held he hand. "Follow me." he turned his head, "You too Garoth. We're running." Ke kissed Kahleen on the cheek. His sadness grew into desperation. "Please. Let's just run."

Mula shivers a bit, and looks behind her. She can run, right now, no questions asked in the middle of this pandemonium. However, seeing the size of this thing it's only a matter of time before it probably hunts them all down. She grabs the flower, silently cursing her luck, and slams it into her mouth. Then, she chews. Her body starts to convulse as she swallows. Mula's mouth starts to foam, and her eyes begin to glaze over. Her body starts to rapidly grow, and grow..until it's about three times the size it normally was. Her artms grow and display a sizable change in bulk, as well as her chest...suddently turning very manly. Is this what Mula actually looks like?

Knochen examines the robot placed between it and Helios in a cold fashion. It amused Knochen, so close to his own design, yet a poor parody. Knochen's jaw snaps open, and the sound of several animalistic roars layered over eachother spills from it's mouth at maximum volume before he charges the M85.

The moogle threw a punch at Kent's knee and spun around at the explosion, whistling. "My punches are usually more muffled then that." The moogle looked at his tint fist. "I dont even know my own strength..." He balled up his other hand into a fist. "With THESE POWERS I COULD BE..!" He sighed, dropped his arms, and slouched. "Aw, forget it." He said sliding beside Garoth, from Kahleen's view.

Kahleen took the cigar out of her mouth and inspected it. She shook it for a bit before returning it to her teeth. "You need to light it. I shouldnt have to tell you that much." Kahleen awkwardly laughed with the cigar in her mouth. He laughter was cut short by Kent's and Garoth's redirected attention. She tried to follow what they were looking at. Her eyes settled on Knochen. "What the?!" She said and couldnt finish her words

Kahleen didnt understand the happenings here and didn't want to. She didnt know if Knochen was provoked. She looked at Kent. "Yes...We can go but..." She said as she took a deep breath. She ducked under Kent's arm and jogged into a full sprint to Iccarus. "May you rest in peace." She cautiously glared at Knochen as she reached for Iccarus' faces. Her fingers plucked the monocle off of his face *Gaaank!* and ran back to Garoth and Kent. "KAY-GREAT-LESSGO!"

Air resistance did little to halt the approach of the metal can of Oldspice body spray. It did, however, adjust the can's descent ever so slightly. It seemed fate had plan in store for the red can labeled 'Old Spice DANGER ZONE' on the side. Gravity's lustful embrace dragged the can closer and closer towards the surface of the world below.

The M85 points its cannon at the charging robot and fires an Ether bomb at it before taking a guarded stance. Helios, on the other hand, hovers backwards in terror as the robot charges them. He notices the M85's defiant attitude as it tries to resist and stops. "M85, what are you doing! Abort! Return to home, this is a lost fight!"

Ivane snaps out of his current state as Knochen roars at the M85. He quickly grabs his sword and thinks to himself, 'Nagol will have to wait, there is something worse to worry about. I know Nagol can take care of himself, after all he has been through.' Ivane turns towards Knochen and prepares to fight it.

Garoth looked up at Kent in a panic, looking back at the skeletal metallic creature, and back at kent again "The damned thing is real?!?" doesn't seem like he was very certain whether to be happy or worried at the fact, letting out another squeak of a whimper as he had just seen someone torn apart, fairly violently, and was now realizing it was real, taking Kent's advice (as well as grasping Kahleen's hand once she comes back from her theivery) "I think I'll wait until I am not completely mindscrewed to take on that..."

Mula is blinded by the effects of the Red Flower. She sees the Skeleton beast, and lets out something akin to a primal roar mixed with hoops and howls as she makes large strides towards this beast in a suicidal attempt to protect the people around the fountain...swinging an oversized, viened fist at the giant skeleton..hoping to buy the others some time.

Knochen sights the orb and notes the sound of something roaring behind it. It's body lets out an audible SNAP before the skeleton slams down onto it's hands, it's bones now carrying it like an animal's would. Knochen's claws dig into the stone pavements as it hurls it's body to the side, abandoning it's Helios-bound charge and instead propelling itself at Ivane.

Mula then finds herself in the path of the orb and she was just about to connect when...it snapped down into an animal's position. Then, she notices the orb, and mentally curses herself as it hits her straight on. The ether begins to sizzle and pop, and she stands there for a brief moment, then lets roars in pain and flops about, landing in the fountain as she tries to get the ether off.

Ivane quickly jumps up and flies up to avoid Knochen. While he is up in the air, he grabs some knives from his backpack and starts the throw them at Knochen.

With the murderous skeletal robot out of its path of descent, the can of Oldspice Danger Zone body spray does simply that as it enters the danger zone. As it makes contact with the ground, it bounces a few times before landing into the fountain with a typical *PLOP!* As buoancy works its natural sciences, the can rises up and simply floats there.

"Mechonis dammit!" Helios flies over to the M85 as it stares guiltily at the screaming mimiga. It hadn't meant to do that to the girl and it wanted to go help, but Helios was yelling in its face to go home. The M85 whined guiltily and looked over at the rabbit girl. "ABORT! We arent going to tell you again, M85!" The M85 breaks and flees north.

Helios watches it run away. "Finally, Now to get out of here ourselves." Helios makes a break for it as well, flying up and to the north to get over the fighters on the road. After a moment, he vanishes from sight.

Kent was running with the other two. He was obviously upset about running. Tears ran down the emotional wreck of a demon hunter's face as he kept up wit Kahleen and Garoth, taking up the rear. He was sworn to protect the innocent, to sacrifice his life for the greater good. But he wasn't a knight. He was an exile. He had no vows anymore, despite what he told himself.

Kent was running away from his death. This was a new place realm, he had seen that his lifestyle was different. His religion was unheard of, he had no afterlife to look forward to. So, he didn't risk himself for others. He didn't risk himself for his god. He just gathered his friends, and just. Kept. Running.

Knochen lands surprisingly lightly on it's claws, and as Ivane's rain of daggers mostly soar throuth the empty parts of it's body or tink off of it's metal hide, the skeleton forces itself back onto two legs, body protesting in cracks once again. Still, in a matter of moments, Knochen is as he was originally configured, and it's hand opens up, pointing into the sky where Ivane is. A small 'click' of a electrical jolt heralds a gout of flame the erupts from Knochen's palm.

The effects of the Red Flower begin to slowly wear off as Mula finally cleans off the Ether, leaving a smattering of fur that has been burned away...but thankfully no skin due to her acting fast enough. Seeing only one other person in the square. She takes this moment to run towards the street nearest to her as her body starts to lose it's brawn and it's size. She quickly rounds a corner and is gone.

Realizing that the knives did nothing, Ivane stops raining them on Knochen. He tries to fly out of the way of the fire, but get's hit by it slightly. After flying down to regain his balance, Ivane then charges Knochen with his sword in his hands.

The can of Oldspice body spray floats in the pristine waters of the fountain, existing in such a fate that others would determine its destiny. Sometimes power was best left in the flow of the waters of life, outside of the hands of individuals who would delve into such a place without thought for the consequences.

Knochen spreads it's claws as the kirby charges him with a sword, feet planted in a stable position. Flames roar again from it's palm, and the claws on it's right hand are heated to a glowing red before the flames die back down. Another roar is issued from the robot, issued directly to Ivane.

Of course, those that would possess such power would not be without their own share of wear. The fall had left three large dents in the sides of the Oldspice 'Danger Zone' body spray. An unfortunate occurance, as it had once possessed a smooth and sleek exterior fitting for kind of saving scent for a man's armpits on the evening of his first date with that girl who went out with his friends before finally deciding to give him the time of day so that she could milk him for all that he was worth.

Ivane rushes at Knochen and begins to slash at him with his sword in a fury of horizontal, vertical, and diagonal swings.

Knochen allows the madly flailing Kirby to advance to him, timing his swings and speed. Once close enough, Knochen raises his cooled claws, backhanding the flat of Ivane's sword as he makes another horizontal swing and following up with a vicious downward arc of it's still cherry red claws.

But such wear and tear serves to simply expose the experiences that one has embraced in their existance. Like how a scar tells the story of a man who lost his right arm while telling a joke to his squadmates before being ambushed by the enemy firing upon them. Or how an eyepatch reminisces the days in which the eye that was once behind it could see the vibrant colors and flow of life. (Oldspice)

But for the can of Oldspice Danger Zone body spray, it told of so much more. How destiny could have been changed had that -one- moment in its heroic dive had not occured. The top dent spoke of conflict. Conflict was a constant aspect of existance, but in this case, it was the story of a murderous robot embracing its design. The middle dent spoke of failure, how in spite of all that one was given, the level of expectation required was not met.

And the bottom dent spoke of cowardice, or perhaps of self survival, and how those who could play a hand in changing destiny sought not to. These three dents, as simple as they were, represented such a story. And so the can of Oldspice body spray would drift aimlessly in the fountain until a time would come for it to be acquired by another, and for more experiences to be added to its metal exterior.

Ivane keeps a firm grip on his sword after Knochen backhands it. But, the claw connects with Ivane causing him to get knocked back with a bad burn on his body. His sword is disarmed from the hit and slides off to the side.

Knochen towers over Ivane, flexing it's claws as it looks down at the injured Kirby. With a sudden motion, Knochen bends over, his ribcage flexing outwards before it slams, points first, into the ground around the Kirby. Then, with a dreadfully slow scratching noise, it's ribcage slowly begins closing.

Knochen slowly constricts his ribs around the kirby's body, metal points now leaving the ground and peircing into flesh before... something happens. Knochen's attention is drawn elsewhere, to the sound of a commotion incoming. Growling, the reploid stands, ribs re-aligning themselves into proper shape before looking down at the kirby. Knochen delivers one last cruel slash to Ivane's body, before it escapes to the north, moving away from the oncoming Guards.

Nagol is seen rapidly flying down into the Truce Fountain area on his Warp Star. He quickly jumps off it and rushes over to Ivane. He checks to see if Ivane is still alive, and is thankful to find his brother is just barely clinging on to life. He lifts his brother into is arms and rushes out to find the doctor in Truce.
