PLAYER ATTENDEES:
----------------------------------

LUCY:

Standing at roughly five feet and six inches tall, Lucy is wasp-girl of
average build. Her hips are somewhat flared and covered in chitin, the same
chitin which covers her entire lower body. Her upper body is mostly
humanoid, aside from some fuzz on her waist, her wings, and her antennae.
Her chest is of roughly average size, covered by a top which keeps her back
exposed, allowing her to still flutter her wings and fly. Her hair is a
light blonde, short and messy to prevent it from getting stuck in her wings
during flight.

Tonight she is wearing a striped shirt, and is carrying a pot labeled "honey."
-----

MOGWAI:

This moogle stands roughly 3 feet tall, with immaculately brushed white fur that gives her a sleek appearance, which is longer and fluffier during the winter and shorter in the summer. Like all moogles, she has a pom-pom attached to a short antenna on her head (her's is yellow), and a pair of vestigial purple wings on her back.

She has a tomboyish appearance, not at all helped by her race having several smaller breasts, instead of two larger ones, and no extra long hair on her head. She generally makes up for this with a yellow backless dress shaped to give an impression of a cleavage, and a yellow ribbon next to her hair.

At the moment, Mogwai is dressed all in black formal attire, complete with a black and red cape. She's added caps onto her existing fangs to lengthen and accentuate them, and has something red in her wine glass. Something a bit too thick to be wine.
-----

HELIOS:

Tonight, Helios is wearing a semi-permanent hologram of a well dressed,
human gentleman. A fancy suit, top hat and a monocle with an oxidised
copper rim make up this particular disguise. It is even able to be felt, to
some extent. No doubt some trick of that cloud of flakes that make disguises
like this possible. And of course, Helios' faithful companion the M85 is present.
It's disguise is rather simple, consisting of little more than a massive swath of
white fabric draped over it. A single hole has been cut out of the cloth to allow
the M85 to see, as well as allowing an eerie red glow to shine out of the hole.
-----

KENT:

Kent seems extremely clean for his usual self. Instead of his usual outfit, Kent is sporting a fasionable black tails suit and a white bowtie. His hair is combed in a way to neatly cover some of his burn scars. Keeping with the classic masquarade stlye, he's wearing a sparkling gold party mask over his eyes.
By his side, Kent's Silver plated sword is sheathed in a new black leather scabbard. His sword compliments his look of a refined gentleman perfectly. Finally, noting his face, he seems surprising calm. You think you even notice a smile!
Is there someone he's trying to impress?
-----

IVANE:

Ivane's costume looks alot like Meta Knight, but it looks a bit different...
The Opening in the armor for the eyes is more trianglar and his glowing blue eyes are all you can see in the opening.
The shoulder peices are alot more triangular too, and have a skull engraved on each of them.
The mask has scratches on it, as if it was used in a huge battle.
A Sword, looking like it was made from pure darkness, is straped to Ivane's belt.
-----

GAROTH:

A rather tall, thin, and skeletal creature wearing a full black pinstripped
suit; slim pants, a white shirt, shiny black dress shoes, and a classy coat,
the coat tails of which almost like shredded living tendrils of darkness, a
black bat amulet resting against his neck whose wings stretch back into the
collar of his coat. He carries a large pumpkin beneath his arm (oddly
carved with not only a face, but also the words "Fight Materialism")
-----

CROSSROADS:

A woman is standing here, orange eyes full of amusement and mirth. Atop her
head is a bob of green hair, under from which a few sprouts of wayward white
hairs can be seen. Her dress is made of many different hues, beginning with a
green near the top of her dress, which begins under her armpits. From there it
flows into an orange, which mirrors her eyes and takes up the most of the dress.
While the color is evocative of the season she seems to represent, all things must
come to an end, and near the bottom of her dress, the color flows again into a brown.
Her shoes, which her dress stops just before, are a snowy white color. Upon her arms
is a pair of long orange gloves with green trim fastened with yellow leaf buttons.
-----

LORASTINE:

Adorned with brightly colored flowers scattered in her long blonde hair and a crown of flowers on her head, Lorastine stands dressed with the essence of Spring. Small bright green vines are wrapped around her forearms like bracelets while sandels made of woven grass are on her feet. Her body is wrapped in a loose green toga accented with a pink petal pattern that seems to be swirled around the toga the way it was worn. Now that you start to notice, the pink starts to blend with the hylian's blonde hair to reveal that it had been highlighted with pink streaks from the bottom. Her face is also painted to have small flowers on her cheeks and near her forehead. Her smile is sweet, although her emerald green eyes seem a bit distant at times. Around her neck is her usual Gold Soul gem.

However, now attached to the same chain seems to be the shell of an empty soul gem resting next to her own.
-----

KAHLEEN:

Halloween Get-Up: Chobin Hood
Kahleen is dressed in a green cloak with a hood, complete with
fuzzy, rounded brown ears. Under the cloak is a one piece, brown
tunic fashioned into a short dress that stops mid-thigh. Her
legs are painted with various shades of brown, though the quality
is poor, it looks like her legs are fuzzy...Maybe. Kahleen wears a
pair of potato-sacks, cobbled into shoes that cover her feet.
Her face is painted light brown, the brush strokes made to look like
her face is covered in fur. Her nose is painted black with a black
line that comes down her nose and follows her lips, appearing to be
mouse-like chops. She has three black lines painted on each side
of her nose acting as whiskers. Completing her costume, Kahleen
wears gloves made to look like furry hands, each finger tipped
with tiny black claws.
-----

NAGOL:

This Blue Kirby is named Nagol. He is 15 (Kirby Years) old (which is 1500 Human Years).
He is really smart, and He creates Mechanical Gadgets.
He is the Guardian of The Star Rod, and his brother, Ivane, is the Co-Guardian.
During the events that got him to Cleft, his brother was possessed by the Demon King's 2nd son: Darkmare.
Darkmare tried to stop Nagol from reattianing the Fully-Restore Star Rod, but failed.
Nagol had the Demon King's 1st son, Shenroe, sealed inside of him when he was born. Shenroe soon was able to weaken the seal and possess Nagol, but he broke the seal completly when he absorbed his brother's cells (When the Megaflare destroyed Darkmare).
Nagol is a good soul, and will do everything he can to protect the peace.

Halloween Costume:
Nagol's Costume looks alot like Meta Knight, but it looks a bit differnt...
The Opening in the armor for the eyes is more trianglar and his glowing blue eyes are all you can see in the opening.
The mask has scratches on it, as if it was used in a huge battle
The shoulder peices are alot more triangular too, and have a skull engraved on each of them.
A Sword, looking like it was made from pure darkness, is straped to Nagol's belt.
The boots have spikes that look dangerously sharp on the bottom and top of them.
-----

DEMONICOR:

A man garbed in forest green is here. He holds a cedar longstaff,
etched with a flowing design. He wears a set of leather gloves which barely
hide his scarred hands. Both his bracers and gloves are inlaid
with steel plating, and chainmail clinks lightly beneath his dark green
tunic while a forest green cloak flows gently in the wind.

A look dances within his eyes, moving between insanity and wisdom.
(no you're not missing anything, this is the full description... you can stop looking now.)
-----

MOLLIANNE:

At just under five feet in height, this young lady would easily get lost in a
crowd if not for the brilliance and shine of her apparel, and the glittering
emanence of her enormous white wings. She is dressed in a white, wide-hemmed
ballroom gown, layered with tresses of silver along the seams that sparkle in
reflection from the light. The top is shoulderless and sleeveless, hugging her
ample torso somewhat tightly above the chest where a shallow neckline forms a
short 'U' shape, allowing for aspect of flaunt without being overly teasing.
Sheer white gloves adorn her arms, fingerless to the second knuckle, rising up
to the elbow where a pair of snowflake-like designs are sewn in on each glove's
band. The skirt is somewhat wide and flowing as it hides her legs fully,
though the sounds of her taloned toes scratching the floor as she moves still
betray her more-obvious avian aspects. Around her neck is draped a thin wreath
of holly, accented at her throat with a tiny clustering of red berries, and her
normally-auburn hair is powdered a soft silvery-white, highlighted with black
tips along her bangs that hang lightly above her radiant sea-green eyes. Twin
barretes clip into her hair above either ear, and are each holding what appears
to be a small stick of dark green mistletoe. Finally, the aforementioned wings
are dusted with a glittering, powdery substance, creating a visualistic sense
of fresh snow having fallen upon and clung to the individual feathers.

The Rabite's Promise - Halloween Ballroom
The spacious ballroom is thoroughly decked out in all manner of festive appeal,
Ranging from black and yellow bat garlands swinging down from the ceiling, to
Bright orange pumpkin tablecloths with a green 'stem' centerpiece in the
Middle of each one. Tables are layered around the sides and edges of the room,
Creating a centrally-cleared and spotlessly-polished dance floor, emblazoned
With a large motif of a grinning masked man. Lit candles line the fireplace
Mantle, smaller at the ends as they grow in size towards a large multi-flame
candlebra in the center, and a semi-transparent white sheet is held up against
The glass-enclosed fireplace, painted with huge red eyes that cast a creepy
Glow around the hearth and chairs sitting nearby. In one corner, a small band
Is set up to play for the guests' entertainment, and nearby is a long table set
Up with a punch bowl and layers of snacks and hors d'oeuvres. High overhead, a
Faintly-sparkling ball is tucked into the center of the ceiling, predominantly
Hidden in the shadows.

Light, symphonic music with a deep organ-themed understone fills the room as guests from around the region commiserate with each other under tonight's event's pretense; costumes are both weak and extravagant, bright and dark, and the sound of merriment can be heard over the background music being played for their enjoyment. At a far end of the room, Dr. Clemente himself can be seen talking to a few other dark-suited men who seem strikingly similar to himself, and all wear single-eye masques that cover the left sides of their face, in addition to their suit-and-festive-jacket combination. One of them says something that elicits a sharp laugh from the other two, and they appear to be enjoying themselves immensely.

Near the fireplace, Mollianne, Lorastine, and Crossroads are seen, the foremost with a fairly wide, tiny-fanged grin on her face, though she says not a word, apparently just enjoying the going's on. Light from the fireplace reflects bright off brightly off of her already-shining gown.

Kent is the first to show up to the ball, making sure to arrive early. He stands outside the door patiently, waiting for Consiland. His costume is a very elegant black suit with a gold colored party mask covering the upper half of his face. By his side, his sword is placed in a matching black leather scabbard, complimenting his look. Kent smiles, keeping a keen eye on those arriving.

A large ghost steps into the room and stands beside the door, though it is quite clear that this is just the M85 in a sheet. It gestures with one covered arm, obscuring the door for a moment. When the arm is moved away again, a well- dressed man is revealed standing in the doorway. "Well, now that we have made one dramatic entrance tonight, let us join in the revelries. Come along, M85." The man -though is is east to tell that he is Helios at this point- steps into the room and mingles with the crowd. "We should enjoy ourselves tonight."

Mogwai walks into the ballroom, and looks around. Seemingly not finding what she's looking for, she gives a small sigh and tries to mingle with the other guests.

Lorastine looks around at all the guests that have gathered here tonight. Everyone was so happy and enjoying themselves this early on. She looked at Crossroads and Mollianne with a light smile, still a little ashamed to be talking to them after disappearing for so long with out a word.

Lucy steps through the door and looks around, not at all intimidated by the idea of a crowd; unfortunately, this is a crowd of strangers. Keeping her wings down to prevent any gusts, she shuffles around, before smiling over at Mollianne. She takes a few steps toward Molly, and waves a bit, keeping her honey-pot in one arm.

A tall skeletal figure stands about over near the ticket taker, Garoth, not looking very certain of anything but seeming twitchy, turning his pumpkin for a look around, trying to see if he can spot Kahleen.... and his ticket into the ball he's attending under threat of a voidmage/thief.. or whatever she is.

With the events from earlier this month and her absence from the cafe, Crossroads was pleased that she managed to pull her costume at the last minute. She stared at the candles, feeling a little dissapointed that Tyrranis and Aemilia couldn't make it, but she was sure both of them had important things they had to do. At least she can relax a little bit and enjoy the company and talk with her other fellow wishborn. Particularly Lora who she had not seen in a while. "So where did you go?" She asked, turning her head to the hylian and raising an eyebrow. "We were worried about you."

Nagol and Ivane walk into the ballroom and look around. Nagol walks over and says to Mogwai, "Hi Mogwai, how's it going?" Ivane walks over and get's some Punch from the table.

Kahleen seemed nervous dispite the preperations she had made for the night. "Kahleen, its okay. I've seen you throw yourself blindly into far worse scenarios. This is all clear and in the blueprints. Just take a deep breath and play it out." Kahleen did take a deep breath but her nerves were still shot. She began to make her way to the ball.

The man walks in, passing by almost everyone entirely, wearing a full set of blue body armor and a nightstick at his hip, approaching Helios and tapping him on the shoulder, keeping up the charade of tapping it even if the his hand starts to go through "Excuse me... but do you have a permit for that ghost?" theres a somewhat goofy grin set just beneath his helmet's visor, though Helios may recognize him as Demonicor.

Kahleen referred to a small, sharpened letter-opener, her only weapon tonight and object of comfort. This did have an impact as her shakes went away. She hd made her way outside the ball, eyes bouncing about looking for two people specifically. "Where is Broth?"-"Garoth"-"Garoth-yeah. He better have a costume..." Her eyes narrowed. "Or esssle!" Kahleen came back. "Oh, hey! Theres Kent!" she said smiling.

Kahleen then shifted her eyes to Garoth. "Looks like he dressed." She smiled yet again. She made here way to them, puasing in a position somewhere between the two, wondering if they'd recognize her...

Mollianne looks up as Crossroads speaks to Lorastine, though she doesn't say anything herself. She seems to be content to let the party take its course for the time being, though it is likely that other things could be on her mind, too. Truthfully, she was curious to know where Lora had been all this time, but was at the moment just glad she returned safely. It was one less thing for her to worry about, at least.

Mollianne does, however, notice Lucy's entrance and approach, offering a mild wave to the wasp-girl in a meek sort of fashion. An impression could be made that her flashy attire seems to be overwhelming even the wearer, given her reserved demeanor thus far. She wasn't known for wearing this much in terms of clothing, even during festive occasions.

Kent grinned as he saw Consiland enter, dressed as a sort of mouse archer. It was different, but cute. He walked over to her with a trained posture. At her side, Kent bowed respectfully before he spoke. "Consiland, you look lovely this night. I've been looking forward to this night." Kent gently took her hand and offered a white corsage. "I hope you don't mind, I'm what you might call a traditionalist."

Lucy shuffles through the crowd closer to Mollianne, offering up her hand to shake. "Hello Molly!" she says, her feelers twitching happily, "Can Molly guess what I am? Guess, guess!"

Mogwai smiles at Nagol "Hey there, just the usual. Adventuring, dancing, that whole gig. I was kinda hoping to see Eevee here, but so far no sight of him." Meanwhile, a red reploid comes in, looks around, and makes a beeline for Mogwai "Hey Mogwai, it's been a while, I think."

Garoth seems to be utterly clueless where he stands outside the door, and looking in the wrong direction for Kahleen anyways... at least the pumpkin under his arm is, the skull perched upon the top of his head probably looked right at her, completely devoid of any of his senses and utterly decorative.

Lorastine looks up at Crossroad's question about where she has been and frowns a little. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you worry. I just went to the Monastery... to clear my head." she replied taking a quick awkward glance at the group she was with before quickly looking towards the floor.

"Oh, we assure you that we have one for it. We even have a leash if it gets unruly." The 'ghost' huffs at Helios' remark, but otherwise remains nonplussed. "Oh, yes. You wanted some more power cores for your set of M32s, did you not? The cores and the repair drone are done and we have them ready to be shipped to wherever you want to put them."

Helios picks up a glass of punch as he talks business with Demonicor. He glances over with mild interest as another reploid runs in and begins to talk with Mogwai. "Huh... Wonder what that's all about." He takes a sip of the glass without thinking about it. "Oh well, we are fairly sure that it isn't world ending.

Helios says 'Anyway, did you have a specefic place in mind, Demonicor?'

Kahleen was awe struck that Kent was able to see through her disguise. "Wow, you dont miss a beat, do you?" She had asked rhetorically. She took the corsage in a confused way. "Wear it on your wrists, jeeze. You'd be lost without me!" Kahleen looked off to one side. "Shut. Up." she said with an angered tone before looking back to Kent. "I-I mean...Shut up, of course I'll wear it! Thank you, Kent!" She said playfully as she slid the corsage on her wrist.

Kahleen waved a ticked at the suited Garoth. "Garoth! You dressed but you'll be needing this ticket, I bet!" She smilled at him. "Well...He seems content with the clothing. But we still have Kent, right." Kahleen seemed to freeze in thought..."One moment please." She calmly said to Kent as she delivered the ticket to Garoth. She gave him a hug and whispered. "" Kahleen returned to Kent holding out her arm, bracing it to be hooked. "Shall we?"

Nagol says to Mogwai, "Yeah, I wonder were he is too." Nagol looks over to the red Reploid and says, "Hello." Ivane sits down at a table and starts to sip some punch. A phone on his belt starts to go off, and he grabs it and looks at the number. He declines the call and put's it back on the belt.

Crossroads takes a sip of her drink, staring at all the people who had gathered, pleased with the turn out. If tonight was a success then she'd have to make sure there was more events like this to look forward too. She pauses mid-sip though as Lora answers her question, suddenly feeling a bit uneasy and a little... betrayed perhaps. But she supposed Lora had done what she needed to do, just like she had. "I see. Are you doing a bit better then?" She smiled a little as she changed the topic, "You did a good job on your costume."

Demonicor peers about a little in unease at the mention of his name and the business aspect of his relationship with the floating orb, giving a quiet cough as he takes up a glass of punch for himself "I think we can wait until later to get into business, for now, there is a party. I was simply not expecting to see you here... well, rather to say, I saw him" he gestures to the M85 with a smile "and figured theres few enough of him walking about the streets of truce" he sips casually from his glass, relaxing once again.

Monast-oh! Mollianne remembered that place... the holy-looking building where they'd first met. No wonder she wasn't able to find her... if she'd walked to Viorar, she would have detected her easily upon passing through Oreyndur. But since she flew high overhead to travel there, for the sake of speed, she hadn't picked her up. But at least she was safe, that was the important part. The siren smiled at Lorastine, happily. "I kept your job safe until you got back, Lora. Everything was A-Okay here, so at least you do not have to worry about that part. It is just good that you showed up when you did, so you did not have to miss the party, too." Mollianne's tone was cheerful, an attempt to get at least a smile out of Lorastine after everything they'd gone through in the last month. Lucy's question grabbed her attention, though, and she looked the girl over for a moment, noting the pot, and the design on her shirt. She couldn't help but giggle; it was a cute swap, given her type. "That is adorable, Lucy. A bee, huh?" Mollianne leaned forward lightly, brushing off a spot idly on her sizeable skirt hem.

Garoth hugs back and tries not to drop his head at the same time, not having heard the whisper (as his proper organic auditory functions are located in his pumpkin), but gets the gist of it and smiles, waving the ticket at the taker as a smile crosses the pumpkin under his arm "Worth every scrap of clothing..." he makes his way into the ballroom with somewhat of a dancing walk.

"Ah, we understand completely. Well, just let us know some other time, then." Helios nods, sipping from the glass of punch once again. "Anyway, how suspicious do you think that group over there is?" He motions to the group of men around Dr. Clemente, as well as the good doctor himself. "Not that we are complaning, of course."

Helios says 'They just strike us as odd. Something dosent seem right about them, but we cant put our sensors on it. Perhaps we are just being paranoid...'

Lucy smiles and nods quickly, taking a moment to process the statement before a light blush plays across her cheeks. "Adorable?" she asks, bashfully kicking the floor with her chitinous foot, "Many thanks! It was... Difficult to find something, very little time to fit in customs... Very good that you like!" She holds her hand out for a little longer, then lets it drop, holding the pot in both arms again.

Dr. Clemente and the other two gentlement with him seem to be minding their own, conversing out of the way of the rest of the guests and just enjoying the party as it stands. Every once in awhile, one of them might look out over the party itself, but his attention quickly reverts back to the conversation in his midst, seeming to be fine with the "to each their own" manner of socializing.

Kent took her arm gracefully, leading her into the ballroom. "I understand my previous behavior to be less than optimal," He began modestly,"Though I'll do my best to show you a good time this evening." Kent smiled at her happily. Things were going smoothly. "Tell me a bit about yourself, Consiland."

Lorastine nods and lightly touches the added soul gem on her necklace. "I'm a lot better now, I was able to give myself peace." she says with a smile confidently looking up at Mollianne and Crossroads instead of timidly before. "Thank you, I actually recieved some hints from people around the monastery." she added outstretching her arms to give a better view of her outfit.

Demonicor glances over at the good doctor and gives a smallish shrug "Most of us should be suspect of being odd then, I think." he drains his glass and swaps it out for another, not especially worried about it being spiked, though he begins to walk towards the fireplace "I think this is a wonderful opportunity for anyone wishing to have a reason to relax"

Still smiling lightly, Crossroads finished off her drink and looked down at the small cup in her hands. Next time, she would be sure to have bigger cups to drink out of. Not that she was particularly thirsty, but it seemed awkward holding on to an empty glass. "I'm glad, Lora. And it is good to have you back" She nodded to the girls, "I am going to see about getting a new drink. I'll be right back." With that said, she made her way towards one of the tables.

Kahleen 's eyelids fell in disappointment. *-.-* Kent might be more easy going with strange things then the last time they met. "Consiland?Just who the HE-" - "KAHLEEN! Thats the name you passed off as yours!" Kahleen's head snapped back. "-Just who the hell am I, I often wonder!" SMOOTH, Kahleen thought. "Well, I'm a nurse of sorts. Work days over in...Ummm." "Shrike? You're on your own here." "In Shrike. Its a part time gig but you know. I'm boring, really. Tell me about yo

Kahleen says "Tell me about yourself, fountain-diver Kent!" Kahleen spit out through her laughter.

Ivane gets another call and again declines it. He stands up and gets some more punch.

Mollianne stands up straight, offering a small nod. "Lucy, this is Lorastine. And the woman who just left to go get another drink is Crossroads; she is the one I told you was my boss, when I was standing in for Lora here. It is actually her job I was working last night." She smiles, looking up at Lora. "Lora, this is Lucy. She came into the cafe last night, and apparently lost her, ah.. family, somewhere. I gave her a spare ticket we had, so that she could attend tonight."

Mollianne looks between them for a moment, clasping her hands together as she offers an awkward-sort of curtsey. "Please excuse me for a moment." She turns from the two of them, her taloned feet under her dress clicking and clacking on the wooden floor as she makes her way toward the band who are providing the classy-sounding music that is currently flowing through the room.

Lucy waves shyly at Lorastine, her feelers twitching around as she leans closer, gently touching Lora's arm with them. "Hello, many happy greetings to you miss Lorastine.'

"Quite right. What to do next..." Helios drains the rest of his glass and moves to stand next to the M85 in it's sheet, trading his empty glass for a new one in the process. Kahleen's raucous laughter caught his attention, but he didn't do anything about it, opting to gaze aroung the room in lieu of going over and talking.

Dancing his way across the floor, Garoth restrains from placing his head back up on his shoulders where the skull sits, using it as a dance partner instead, laughing happily as he combats the disorientation of looking at himself instead of which direction he's dancing, though also dancing somewhat in circles so he doesn't run into anyone on accident, not wanting to drop his head or anything.

Lorastine smiles a gives a slight curtsey to Lucy as Mollianne introduces them. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Lucy." she replies with a gentle and happy smile. She looks at the feeler for a second, not used to someone having feelers, but she ignored the odd feeling. "Are you enjoying yourself?"

Kent laughed at Consiland's awnser. "Really, Consiland? A nurse!" He smiled gently, afraid he'd offended her. Still, a nurse becoming a theif seemed unlikely. "As for me? I was a knight of a holy order sworn to protect innocents from unholy creatures." Kent sighed. "I was exiled for my...personal methods. I became a demon hunter instead, protecting towns for a profit. I think the last one I fought sent me here. The transition has been unsettling, to say the least." Kent almost looked sad, but i

Kent almost looked sad, but immediatly perked up. "Aye, But now is not the time to dwel on past mistakes! Let us take part in this evening and enjoy ourselves!"

Crossroads pours takes the ladel from the the punch bowl and pours some of the drink into her cup before replacing it. Her eyes fall upon the food next and she contemplates taking a small plate back with her.

Mogwai smirks "Lemme guess, Gizmo? The uncertainty on how long it's been gave it away." The reploid gives a salute "Aye. Surprised not to see your pet here, but I suppose they don't let animals in. Too bad."

Making his way over to the fireplace, Demonicor finds an open seat and relaxes, sipping on his punch again as he looks about the room, reveling in the warmth and the atmosphere, his visor hiding his eyes as he takes in the scene of all the partygoers.
-----

LATE ARRIVAL - TYRRANIS:

An extremely spiff Gigantos stands here, clad in a very fine Tux. How
exactly he found a salesperson with one in his size, or who he paid to craft
one in his size, but here he is. His head is mostly uncovered, however,
showing off various scars covering most of his bald scalp. A small domino
mask is positioned on the giganto's face, barely concealing his identity.
His scars continue down his neck, only cut off by a small black bow, which
suggests that his entire body might be that scarred. He carries and uses a
baseball bat much like a cane, to help his outfit along.
-----

Tyrranis steps into the ballroom and is rather instantly overwhelmed. There were many people here, and it was nothing like what he was used to. The restricting clothing he was wearing did not help these matters either. The giganto casts his eyes around, seeking a familiar face and noting Crossroads. He steps towards her and next to the punch bowl before folding his arms behind his back and giving her a small smile. "Hello Crossroads."

Kahleen thought Kent was putting alot of effort into this. Maybe more-so then the effort Kahleen had put into it. It would be a shame to put Kent through what she had planned. As they made their way inside the tables began to develop faces and echoing laughter that meshed with the music. Kahleen watches the tables sway in musical laughter for a moment before facing Kent.

Kahleen saw sincerity in him. "A demon hunter, huh?" Kahleen sighed. "Dont back out! This is what you wanted-NEEDED, right?" Kahleen nodded and took a deep breath. "Well...Its a good thing someone of your skills is here Kent. It is just as I thought. Demons will be here, tonight. If they aren't already here." Kahleen took comfort in Garoth enjoying himself. She even smirked a little as she caught a galnce of him dancing.

Mollianne leans up on the platform, waving to one of the bandmembers to get their attention. One of them who is not actively performing at the moment shuffles down to the floor to speak with her, and a brief exchange takes place. This ends with Mollianne smiling, and leaning up to give him a quick smooch on the cheek, before turning and heading back toward Lucy and Lorastine, as the music slowly comes to a halt, the band reorganizing themselves in preparation for something else. "I thought maybe it was to get the party going just a little bit further." As soon as Mollianne is finished speaking, a burst of synth-heavy music fills the ballroom, sparking a fast-paced song that seeks to encourage attendees to let loose and really enjoy the party!

Lucy nods a little, gently taking Lorastine's hand in hers, shaking it. "Oh, yes, much much fun... Many strange faces, but much fun," she says, before gently rubbing her antennae with her hand, almost sort of cleaning them, "Is Lorastine enjoying as well?"

Nagol heads over to the Punch Bowl and get's some punch. Ivane receives another call and this time he answers it, "WHAT!?" *Person on the other phone speaks* "Who is this?" *Person on the other phone speaks* "Rea- Really?" *Person on the other phone speaks* "Alright, I'll be there as soon as possible!" Ivane quickly speeds out of the Ballroom. Nagol looks over to his brother as he leaves and says, "I wonder where he is going?"

Crossroads had taken a single cookie from the variety of snacks being offered and only manages to take a single bite when she heard a familiar voice behind her back. She spun around in surprise, not at all expecting the giganto to show up tonight. What she saw when she did though almost made her drop both her punch and the snack she had grabbed, "T-Tyrranis?" Not in his pink towel or hakama but fully dressed in CLOTHES! Crossroads eyes scanned over the tux he was wearing, then back at his face, then back

Helios glances over at the band as it begins to play some sort of synth track. "Hmmm... Sounds like something Vinyl would play." He dosent really dance, more like bobbing his head to the music. The M85 ghost has no such reservations, starting to grove along with the music.

then back at his face, then back at the tux again. Not at all believing what she was seeing at first. She put her punch and cookie down on one of the tables and reached forwards, touching it to prove she was truely seeing this. It was real. And he looked... good.

Kent smiled gayly and Consiland's comment. "I know, madame, I know." With his eyes he pointed to several individuals. He held her close for a moment to whisper "" Kent listened to the music starting, and looked around puzzled. "Ah well, anyway madame, this is a very special night indeed. Let's not have demons interfere with our plans."

Garoth brings himself to a stop as the music comes to a halt, almost placing his head back on his shoulders before holding it under his arm again, this was going to take some getting used to. He makes his way over to the food table, setting his head down and leans on the table, lightly feeding his pumpkin a few appetizers and odd smaller bits of food, not going to question how digestion works in such a state. He's already dressed up, whats another item or two.

Tyrranis frowns as the music begins blasting, but puts the cacophany out of his mind, instead focusing back on Crossroads. "I thought it might be a nice idea to show up. The man who helped me said that I needed a mask as well as this suit. What do you think?"

Gizmo practically yanks Mogwai off her feet as the music starts. The girl quickly proves herself to have been born with two left feet, and it takes all of Mogwai's dancing skill to maintain some sense of dignity as the stronger moogle swings her about in some mockery of a waltz

Lorastine nods and smiles happily as her body starts to slowly move to the new tempo of the song on its own. "I'm having fun, its definatly a pick me up after the things I've been though." she explained as she swayed her hips from side to side in dance, slowly getting more intrigate.

Demonicor raises his glass to Mollianne in salutation from across the fireplace "I am glad you decided to show up after all" he sips from his cup of punch.

Kahleen scanned the room for something interesting. The sheets over the M85 might be good. She skimmed over to the man over at the fire place. His glass? Her eyes continued to scan the room settling on a girls necklace. She had been fidgeting with it so it must have some sentimental value. Maybe that was it. The catch of the night. What would the distraction be? Kahleen looked at the M85-Ghost.

Kahleen thought maybe that thing would be distracting. "Kent doesnt seem to stressed about the demons here. Make him stressed? You know what to do." Kahleen shook her head. "Okay, Kent!" She said looking at him concerned. Kahleen took his hand with one of hers and placed her other arm around his shoulder just in time for the music to start up again. She started leading and would give him some time to follow her dance before she would continue to scan the room. "Anyone you miss back home, Kent?"

Mollianne wastes no time as she returns to Lorastine and Lucy, flashing them both a knowing smile as she saunters out onto the central clearing made into a dance floor, joining several other patrons in the festive music. Despite not having human legs or feet under that dress of hers, her movements are fluid and graceful like almost none other; she whirls and gestures with her arms and body as though she were a product of the musical beat itself. A gleeful grin spreads across her face as she dances, eyes closed as the music fills her mind and heart, completely taking over and losing herself in it. Mollianne keeps her wings in close to prevent bashing other dancers that surround her, though some seem to move outward slightly and grant her additional room as such.

Lucy looks around a bit, her feelers twitching. "I, uh... Know not how to dance," she says, looking over at Molly and Lorastine, "I understand it very little." She tries tapping her foot, then awkwardly sways her hips, but just can't seem to get herself in a smooth groove.

Crossroads blushed and covered her mouth, realizing that she was staring up at him with her mouth hanging open. "It's very nice. You look really good Tyr." And that was a bit of an understatement. Her other hand was still gently running over the fabic as she spoke to him. Yes, it appeared this was real. "I didn't think you would be very comfortable in these kinds of clothes."

Mogwai walks over to Helios and stretches a hand out "Want to dance?" she asks, having slyly switched a coat rack for herself as Gizmo's dancing partner. The other moogle doesn't seem to have noticed, swinging it around at anything that gets close and generally making a fool of herself.

As he followed Consiland's lead in the dance, Kent pondered the question. "My horse," he joked. The music was much more fast paced than he thought a party would play. "No, there isn't. I was a wanderer, I never had the time to settle down. Before that, I was a knight, and taking on a family was too dangerous." Kent was happy despite what he was saying. The dancing was fun, and Consiland's make-up had an endearing quality to it.

Tyrranis shifts a bit unconciously, rolling his shoulders against the fabric. "The clothes are a bit restrictive, so I generally prefer not to wear ones like this. However, it was conveyed that I must dress differently than I normally do. So I did." He gives Crossroads a smile. "You also look nice."

"Dance? Oh, of course. Lead the way, though we don't know very much about this particular dance." Helios takes Mogwai's offered hand and follows her lead.

Demonicor gets up and finishes his second cup of punch, wandering back over to the tables where he deposits the cup with the rest of the discards, swooping up a couple of snacks before heading outside, the music not quite what he would dance to, even with a partner present.

Lorastine smiles and dances alongside Mollianne jealous of her moves, but tries to match them and even try to surpass them. She had a little confidence. She was Spring, the one who trumps winter, so she had to win this mini contest in her mind. She nods over to Lucy and smiles, seeing she was starting to get it right.

Kahleen shook her head. "You've never settled anywhere for any length of time? I'm mean you are an impressionable person Kent. I dont think I will ever forget the day we met." She paused, having a flashback for a moment before exploding into giggles, joing in laughter with the roaring pumpkin tables. "Well, I'm glad you stuck around here."

Kahleen said as her giggling came to an end. "Well played!" "I meant it." She stated to the unseen. "Scream demons or something I'm getting bored." Kahleens teeth were grinding as she faked a smile and contined dancing.

Garoth continues to lightly feed himself for a moment, his skull head looking off out the window as his pumpkin keeps an eye on Kahleen, not certain what she sees in the Knight.

Mollianne continually sways and choreographically conforms to the hastened tone of the playing music, not even really noticing Lora nearby, given that her eyes were closed. Though dangerous in any sense with this many people around, she still manages to avoid bumping anyone on the dance floor, this music seemingly giving her a subtle sort of clairvoiyance in regards to those around her. A small dusting of white powder occasionally poofs around her wings as she dances, which are dusted with the snow-like substance. Mollianne seems very in-tune with her surroundings, to say the least.

Nagol looks at the watch on his wrist and then looks out the door, wonder where his brother went.

Lucy huffs a bit and stops trying to dance, just watching Mollianne curiously, leaning in with her antennae twitching in the air around her. "Dancing is... Odd," she says, her feelers moving over around near Lorastine, "I understand not the purpose, or how to move so... So... Fwoosh, like water."

Mogwai smiles at Helios "Oh... there isn't really a particular dance for this style of music. Just pay attention to the beat, try to match it, and do whatever feels right." she says, stepping and swaying to the left and right in time to the music to start with something simple "Also, duck."

Helios looks at her strangely, but follows Mogwai's advice and ducks. "Like this?" He also begins to move in tune with the music, his outline blurring with the beat and lending a rather fuzzy look to his apperance.

Kent's face brightened at her comment. "I think I'll be sticking around for quite awhile." Kent streched his hand as Consiland gave a spin before they went back to their dance. "I'm finding plent of jobs to do around here. Besides," Kent winked, "I found a new hobby..."

Lorastine slows down for a moment and giggles at Lucy's comment. "There is no reason to dance, its just something you can do just to have fun." She said starting to move her hips more, letting the music carry her body. "Just let the music flow through you."

Crossroads' cheeks turned a bright crimson at the compliment and she is able to pull her gaze away towards the floor for a moment. "You should dress like this more often." She said under her breath, shyly looking him over again. Really, she didn't think it mattered what Tyrranis wore. And if clothing like this was too restrictive for him then he should take them off... Preferably with her help. Crossroads cleared her throat and reached up, hooking her fingers around his bow and began leading him leading him towards the door. "Lets make you a bit more comfortable."

Tyrranis is absolutely fine with this leading away. This ballroom was rather crowded and loud, and he didn't want to rip this suit by dancing, the man who gave it to him might want it back.

Kahleen rested her head on Kent's chest, as if to hold onto him before sending him into a sword swinging frenzy. "Kahleen go for it!" "Oh, what a patheitc theif!" said a pumpkin table. "The worst one I've ever seen" another one added before they would burst into harmonic, mocking laughter. "Are you going to prove them right or what?" The ball seemed to grow a face of cheesey marker-art.

Kahleen 's hand gripped Kent's hand a bit tighter, coming out of the spin. The ball in the ceiling seemed to stretch down. "All I see from here is failure! Failure that spins into a beautiful and clumbsy blur of deficiency. But by all means, "THIEF", try. It will humor me!" Kahleen blinks rapidly. "DTell me about that hobby!"

Mollianne gives a final spin, apparently a pirhouette on one tip-talon before coming to an abrupt halt, raising one hand high into air above her head... and clenches her fist abruptly, as the band ends their song with a final, powerful chord that echoes several times around the walls of the room. Several of the surrounding guests applaud the band at the song's conclusion, and a few nearby ones are giving a round to Mollianne and Lorastine as well, even going so far as to whistle. Molly opens her eyes, still grinning, though it has taken on a semi-sheepish tone at this time. Mollianne looks to be calming down rather quickly as the song concludes, while the band revs up for something else, pausing for a few minutes and allowing for a period of socialization before they issue another song.

Mollianne exhales, shaking her head lightly. "It has been awhile. I had almost forgotten what that felt like."

Kent held Consiland closer as she came out of the spin. She seemd uncomfortable, and Kent wanted to make her feel better, but he didn't know how. He was trained to be a gentleman at times like this, but his mind told him just to do as she said. And now what she was asking Kent to do was awnser her question. "My new hobby? Oh it's nothing really." He looked into her eyes in a comforting way. With a smile he answered: "Thief chasing."

Lucy claps a little at Mollianne, smiling with a big, fangy smile. "Very lovely, your dance is very lovely," she says, looking down a bit, "I still do not really understand what to do, it is rather confusing... Could Molly maybe teach? Or, um, show again."

Nagol looks at his watch again and then walks towards the door. He decides he better find where his brother ran off to.

A coatrack sales over Helios' head as he ducks, and Mogwai giggles at his dancing "Well... it's in tune with the tempo, so that's good I suppose. Though most people tend for... less micro in their movements. But just whatever feels good to you, so long as it doesn't..." she looks over Helio's shoulder and winces "Hurt someone."

Lorastine pants and sighes as she catches her breath from dancing. She wasn't much a dancer so it too a lot out of her. "Molly, you are amazing..." she said through her tired voice and a smile. "I think... I need a drink."

"Is Gizmo usually this... wild when she dances? And ouch, that's going to leave a mark." As the song winds down, Helios stops vibrating and his outline returns to normal. "Well, it's really more a matter of the sound waves affecting the flakes than on purpose." Helios looks back at the coat rack and winces.

Helios turns back to Mogwai after a moment. "So, how have you been doing? He have been rather busy lately and havent been able to get much current news."

Garoth lifts his head up and begins to walk around towards the edge of the room, the party not appearing to be as exciting yet as he was first expecting... maybe it just needs to wind up first.

Kahleen looked at Kent in a confused manner. "What? How'd you-?" The pumpkins interrupted. "-OF COURSE HE KNOWS! BAHAHA! Everyone KNOWS. You are-" The Ball chimes in. "-The worst theif ever! But go on. It will be hilarious! You are a successful comedian at least. You always have that to fall back on "THIEF". Who knows. It could be a career for you!" Kahleen broke from Kent.

Kahleen looked up to Kent. "Could you excuse me a moment? I have to-" "Powder your nose? Haha! You can prove them all wrong!" "Powder my nose, ." Kahleen shook off the voices words and headed to Garoth. "Could I talk to you for a moment, please. PLEASE?!"" She actually asked? Her eyes showed signs of fear.

Mollianne smiles at the people around her, who have departed to go mingle amongst their friends and other guests now that there is a period of calm before the next song. She turns around to face Lucy, holding a small hand to her mouth as she grins as well, hiding her tiny fangs from view in a strangely-sudden notion of self-consciousness. "Dancing is... something not everyone gets, Lucy. It is not really something you can understand. It has to be felt here." She places a hand on her chest, where her heart would be. "And some just have a passion for it. For me, it is kind of genetic. I am a siren, and music is kind of... what I do. Dancing came as a result, though it does help that I perform at a Nightclub in Viorar, too." Mollianne lowers her hand, giggling a bit obnoxiously at Lorastine. Her eyes flicker briefly as she notices the empty Soul Gem hanging on her necklace next to the one that belonged to her, but says nothing, her smiles not even fading. "Lora honey, it is so good to see you like this. I can tell that this is something you really needed." Mollianne's face is a pleased expression, her hands coming together in front of herself in emphasis of this.

Lucy looks down at her own chest, poking herself. "In... Breasts?" she asks, before instantly growing flustered, shaking her head, "No, no, heart, yes? Dancing is in hearts? Many thanks, but I know not how to find dancing in my heart..."

Dr. Clemente and his two compatriots exchange a few more words at this time, and one of them finishes their drink, excusing himself to go claim another. As he moves from in front of a table to do so, a small white cat-like creature is revealed to be sitting there, watching the events with unblinking, round red eyes, and an ever-present coy little smile on its fuzzy face.

Mogwai shakes her head "No... this is the first time I've seen her dance, ever. It is not something I would wish to see again. As for what I've been doing, well..." she grows silent in thought for a bit "I have been wandering mostly. Trying to piece together a few things. The readiness of the spirits to help me, what path I should take now and... other things."

Garoth says 'Huh? Uh, sure, come on" Garoth shoots a worried glance over in the direction of Kent with his pumpkin, but no... Kahleen wasn't in too much of a worried state, he simply takes her by the hand and begins leading her towards a somewhat quieter corner of the room. "everything okay?"'

'I forgot how to deal with women, apparently.' Kent thought, confused. He didn't follow her, following a lady was rude when she excuses herself for such reasons. Instead, he picked up a glass of punch and sipped it casually. For the first time in weeks, his reflection stayed still. The onyl day of the year he'd find peace with his inner demons.

Lorastine giggles at Lucy's misinterpretation. It was kinda adorable in that way. She looks at Mollianne and smiles towards her Siren friend. "Yea, I'm happy to see you doing so well too." She says the feeling a bit nice coming to where she spontaneously went and hugged Mollianne, not sure if that was Molly's intention for a hug.

"Well, have you thought of why they would give them away like that? We still find it rather unusual." He pauses for a moment, glancing around and mutterning. "...Something..." Helios' gaze lands on Kyuubey and he clenches his jaw before pointedly turning back to Mogwai. "Well, are you planning another trip to the stones? If so, we would like to accompany you on that trip."

Kahleen flails her arms about. "I-I-I dont know what to do! The room is just-everything is coming down around me! First my morals--fighting with the demon idea, then the tables, the ball, poor Kent over there-doesnt even know. BROTH!-" - "Garoth" - "GAROTH! He doesn't even KNOW!"

Kahleen was breathing heavy and she just looked at Garoth for some kind of guiding light. She looked over at tables and ball, having a party amongst themselves. They would all look at Kahleen for a moment before turning back to eachother and joining in laughter. "What should I do? I mean the necklace is nice enough but...I dont know anymore."

Mollianne nods at Lucy. "Yeah. Like I said, it is kind of something you just have to 'feel'. Inside of you. It either comes naturally, or it does not. It is different for everyone, but it does not make you any less of a person if you cannot dance. So do not even worry about it." Her attention shifts as Lorastine speaks to and leans down to hug her, which she accepts graciously, squeezing her gently in the embrace. After everything they had gone through, she was thankful that they could both still be alive to engage in something as simple as this hug. Especially since the person that both she and Mollianne had ties to could not be here to do the same. Her eyes shimmered briefly, perhaps as though a tear might form, but it quickly subsides, and she just smiles faintly instead. "Thank you, Lora. Everything will be okay. I promise."

The fuzzy white cat-like creature merely sits there on the table, occasionally letting his gaze switch from patron to patron, but never moving otherwise. He seems content to just... watch.

Lucy just sort of stands there, her feelers twitching as she watches the hug, not really sure what to do. "I... I am hungry, shall grab food," she says, slowly taking a few steps away, quickly walking over to the food, which she begins to inspect some of with her antenna. Hopefully noone here is upset by this.

Mogwai hmms "Well... I was not planning a trip as such. But I could certainly accompany you. Word of advice though, you're not the only one seeking the power of mana. I've gotten many requests lately, some of which I've taken, some I have not. You may have competition, or other complications. Just another to the list of precautions."

Garoth looks a little.... well, simply lost at the words, trying to think it through and assimilate what is going on with her, setting down his head a short ways away on a chair (far enough that he can see what his body is doing) and drawing Kahleen into a hug to try to calm her "I think the... uhm, the, which did you say it was? The table? Just ignore it, they don't know how amazing you are... but maybe you should try to focus on something other than the necklace."

Lorastine gives a sad smile, feeling the same connection between them being gone. She let Mollianne go and nods. "Hm? I'm sorry, Lucy, please don't feel awkward." she says wiping away what she had ended up building in her eyes. "I feel like I could use something to eat and rebuild my energy." she says as the wasp girl lead on towards the table. "Hungry?" she asks Molly wondering if she was going to continue strutting her talent on the dance floor some more.

Kent toyed with his glass as he sat by the table, staring into his reflection. It had been so long since he could do so with a good conscience. He could also see Consiland through the reflection, she seemed upset. Very upset. Kent walked over timidly. "Excuse me," He said softly to Consiland, "I'm terribly sorry if I offended you. My deepest apologies." He shot glances between the two. "Is there anything I can do to help...?" He asked.

"Hmmm... Well, we don't need an extended trip, all we really need are mana shards. Perhaps we could go sometime soon?" The M85 shuffles up behins Helios and quietly chirrups something. Helios looks back at it. "Really? Oh dear, that isn't good." Helios turned back to her. "It seems that we will have to take our leave of you tonight, something has... come up. Have a good evening and we can talk about making a trip some other time." With that he heads out, followed by the M85 and grumbling.

Kahleen thought about what Garoth said. Did that make sense? She broke from his hug, which was comforting. "Well. He's interfering with our work, Kahleen. We might have to simply off him." Kahleen scoffed. "NO waaay! Are you crazy?" "Well..." The pumpkin tables sing a song. "o/ OooOOoh Turn him off! OoooOOoh Snuff him out! o/" The ball takes the lead. "o/ If you're gonna kill him, kill him now! You'll soon find a pumpkin snack, lying oooon the grouuuund. o/"

Kahleen noticed the sharpened letter-opener had made its way to her hand, somehow. Her questioning herself was interrupted by Kent's voice. "The demons? Yeah-THEY were never gonna come as far as I knew. Its all part of the plan, Kent." "WHAT?! KAHLEEN, YOU IDIOT! TAKE IT BACK WHILE YOU STILL CAN!" Kahleen dropped the letter-opener and smiled. "YEP! I'll tell you later."

Mollianne watches Lorastine and Lucy head toward the table. She smiled faintly at both of them, before something seems to take her attention, and she abruptly turns in Kyuubey's direction, staring at him silently for at least a moment or four. There is no vocal exchange between them, and she turns away afterward, starting to say something in response to Lorastine's question, when the band suddenly strikes up another song! A lively waltz begins this time, orchestral in its presentation, and very uplifting and lighthearted. Hearing this, Mollianne gets an idea, and hurries over to the both of them, click-clacking her way across the wooden floor. "Sorry Lora, just a minute! I need to borrow Lucy!" She reaches out to try and grab her arm, attempting to pull her back with her onto the dance floor. "Lucy honey, come here! This will be a perfect chance to show you!"

Gizmo comes over to Mogwai as Helios departs "...A coatrack? Seriously?" Mogwai shrugs "Your fault for obscuring both your eyes and your pom-pom. That's just begging for someone to take advantage of you. Where is the thing anyway?" "I uh... apparently broke it over someone's back." "...and you wonder why I swapped."

Lucy is grabbed quite easily, dragged away from the food, looking quickly at Molly. "But I thought Molly not could show?" she asks, standing right next to Molly on the dance floor, resisting the urge to cling to her arm, "Is there a way to show?"

Kent eyed the knife that fell out of Consiland's hand. "A plan...? You don't have to explain, I know about the demons!" Words fell out of his mouth as he tried to figure out what she was talking about, "Tonight, all Hallows Eve, there's too many. We made a pact, the Legio Aurea... We're at peace this night." Kent shook his head worried as he knelt down beside her. "Consiland...are you alright...?"

Garoth finds himself at a loss again, as she begins to talk to... someone else again. Listening in as he slides his shoe over the makeshift knife, not certain if such a weapon would be looked upon kindly by the proprietors... maybe he could hide it in his pumpkin.

Kahleen smiled at Kent's words. "WHAT?! OUR PLAN!" The sheet over the fire place chuckled at Kahleen. "Though your original methods were erratic, there is no reason you should leave empty handed. Next time you devise a plan, maybe consider other, less destructive ways to acquire goods, hmm?" Kahleen nodded at the sheet. "Look there Kahleen!"

Kahleen looked down at Garoth sliding the knife away. "He will use it against you. You should have listened to me!" Kahleen's eyes narrowed at Garoth. "I'm not sure..." She said in response to Kent. "Garoth...Wha-" Kahleens posture became rigid. "-What are you..? You wouldn't, would you>"

Garoth his pumpkin blinks at the half-confused and half-accusatory words from Kahleen "I'm hiding it for you, since I doubt the proprietors would be happy about someone stepping on it" he lifts it, his hands still not looking entirely used to dealing with objects as they shake a little, hiding it in his pumpkin, hoping it doesn't carve anything new as he holds his head under his arm again.

Mollianne grins broadly, turning toward Lucy and holding her steady as the waltz continues playing. "It is hard to explain. But just watch! Do as I do. Here, like this." Molly takes Lucy's individual hands, holding one of them in her own both high and low, and attempting to lead. "Just follow me, step as I step, move as I move. I can teach you this, at least; it all depends on the music. Some you can, some you cannot." The siren grins still, her movements slow for Lucy's sake, but still graceful as ever.

Lucy blushes a bit and looks at the hands, then down at Molly's feet, trying to match the movements, slowing easing into the idea. "Oh, so this is... Pair dance," she says, her feelings moving down to tickle Molly's face a little, "So we move together?"

Mollianne giggles, attempting not to mind the feelers in her face. "Yes, exactly. Some dances are for one person, some are for two. Some are for a whole bunch. This is called a 'Waltz', and is meant for two people. Just move and slide as I do, and try not to step on my dress. That is all!" Molly leads Lucy on in a fluid stream of drifts and sways, starting out with easy positionings, but gradually increasing pace and complication into her maneuvers. "Waltzing is easy. All you do is just follow the person leading you. That is all there is to it!"

Lucy smiles and just sort of brushes her feelers along Mollianne's hair, moving with her, her motions still ridgid and insectile despite following the dance quite well. "Yes, many thanks! I appreciate."

Kahleen considered Garoth one of her best and only friends. She was about to get taken down by one of the first people she trusted? Irony! "o/ OoooOh how events have changed, OooOOoh once a predator, now just prey o/" the Pumpkins sang as backup. "o/ If you only killed him when you had the chance! If only you killed him before the dance! o/" The ball would sing as lead.

Kahleen smirked. " I...I believe you, Broth." - "Ga-" - "Garoth. Everyones telling me different things. Its hard to tell sometimes, ya know?" She laughed at herself. If he doesnt kill you now, He'll just kill you later but do your thing. You'll see who your true friends are in the end." "Okay!" Kahleen squealed. She gave Garoth a quick hug before yanking Kent up from his knelt position, by the hand. "Finish the dance?" She asked cheesing. "And then I'll take the ball on the way out

"And then I'll take the ball on the way out...THAT is the pickings of the night!" Kahleen said her thoughts aloud.

Mollianne smiles, amused at how quickly the girl was catching on. She disregarded the posture differences between them (hell, at 4'10", she was shorter than most everyone here anyway), still able to lead with relative easy. Suddenly, she pulls away, taking Lucy's hand at arm's length between the two of them, and comes spinning back with a flourish, taking her other hand back and pressing in close, with a knowing grin. "See..? Not so hard! It is all about having fun with your body! That is what it means to dance."

Kent lead her to the dance floor. "Oh, is it? Such a clever girl you are, Consiland." He smiled. Kent wrapped on of his hands around her waist as the music lead their movements. "But, if you are so determined to steal something, I can tell you you are already the greatest theif I know." Kent kissed her cheek lightly. "You already stole my heart" The dance continued, and Kent smiled happily at her. ""

Lucy smiles and nearly stumbles back when Molly moves in close, saving herself with a bit of a flutter from her wings. She looks at the wall, and back at Molly, then giggles a bit. "So, dance is about fun? Then, this way, come come. I want to try something!" she says, her feelers moving away from Molly's head.

Mollianne looks a bit confused, but follows Lucy as she pulls away, letting her take the lead for the time being in whatever she was planning. She hoped it wasn't anything too complex, because regardless of how innately music-and-dance-oriented she was, she still a half-bird in a long dress.

Lucy leads Molly back toward the wall, and hooks an arm behind her back, but under her wings. Taking a moment to let her wings flutter and gain a little lift, Lucy steps back and onto the wall, walking backward up it, tugging with her hooked arm gently to coax Mollianne up onto the wall. "Worry not, I can hold up."

"I'm not entirely certain how that goes, but I'm here to talk about it whenever you want" Garoth hugs back with one arm. He laughs a little bit at how extravagant and audacious Kahleen can be, planning to steal the ball "Well, I hope you're successful with whatever you try for"

Mollianne looks considerably more uncertain at this concept, given that her wings wouldn't work in the same fashion, in accordance with their size. However, she's willing to at least give Lucy the benefit of the doubt, and attempts to follow Lucy up the wall, lightening her steps as much as possible so as not to scrape with her sharp feet and letting herself be pulled along. "This is... different?"

Lucy smiles and, possibly to Molly's surprise, keeps her held up with ease, making Molly's steps more aestetic than functional. She continues her steps, trying to stay mostly side to side, except for one quick twirl around. "This is fun?" she asks, her feelers tickling at Molly's face again.

Kahleen would dance with Kent as the tables and ball had a meeting about what Kahleen accidently said aloud. "Yeah, like she could reach me! Just you wait for this sad display of a wannabe, self proclaimed thief jumping around trying to get me. Ready your guts for unceasing laughter, for it will be quite comical!" The pumpkins salute, even without limbs "Laughter loaded and at the ready, Ball-Z!"

Kahleen thought about what Kent was getting at. "If he knew what you were...He'd kill you too. You'll learn how unsafe realism can be, Kahleen. I know you're done listening to me for a night but I promise...I'm not going anywhere." She seemed numb to the kiss and ignored it. Perhaps she was right but Kahleen did what she did best. She would pretend everything was great right now. After all she had a new plan!

Mollianne would be lying if she said she felt comfortable actually trying to dance on the wall. The fact that she was actually being held up, combined with the way her center of gravity shifted from being airborne caused her movements to become fairly awkward, and she misses multiple steps while trying to keep up, frowning in distress. She's trying, but it apparently isn't as easy as it looks.

Lucy frowns a bit, and slows down, stopping for a moment, tickling at Mollianne's face. "Molly smells... Unhappy. Stop?" she asks, starting to move back down toward the ground.

Kent and Consiland we're in the center of the dancefloor. She seemed to be looking around, but Kent's eyes were fixed on her. She kept glancing up at the cieling and the chandolier. And she was smiling to. "You have such a beautiful smile..." The thought out loud. For the first time in so long, he let his guard down. There were no demons to be slayed, no witches to hunt, there was only now. And now was looking pretty good.

Mollianne frowns softly, but nods. "We should. I am sorry Lucy, but this is not really something I can do. I understand your position on ease, because you seemed a bit.. hard-pressed, on the floor. But everyone is different, like I said." She smiled reassuringly, allowing herself to be let down to the floor. "Do not take it personally. Walls are just generally not meant to be walked on. Or danced."

And now was looking pretty good

Lucy frowns, her feelers tickling Molly's face for a moment before retracting back. She steps down onto the ground and takes Mollianne's hand again, before looking at her face again, smiling. "We can still dance, yes?" she asks, her feelers twitching around.

"I would ima--" The waltz suddenly comes to an end, having elongated in repeats a couple times as it was, and a number of guests elsewhere clap and applaud for the band's talent. Mollianne smirks, still holding onto Lucy's hands. "Well, I suppose not. But it was still fun! And I learned something new, too." The short woman shifts, moving to kiss Lucy on the cheek. "Thank you for the dance, Lucy. You catch on quickly!" She smiles, face radiating her own sense of happiness over the night's events.

Garoth looks up at the ceiling, sighing and shaking his head, "thats a high goal... I hope she's up for it." he shakes the skull on top of his shoulders, wondering what he can do to help her... she really is an endearing person, if a little eccentric, and potentially volitile.

Lucy blushes a bit, and smiles, keeping her hands held onto Molly's, leaning in to give Molly the same feeler-and-nose kiss she had the previous night. "Molly learned? Learned what?" she asks, tilting her head, rather befuddled by that statement.

Mollianne laughs lightly. Those things drumming on her face kind of tickled. "All things. Whenever you experience something new, you learn something you did not know before. This is what life is all about." She glances toward the platform for a moment, where the band is offering an interlude for the moment, and nods at Lucy. "I can honestly say I have never tried to dance anywhere except a floor before. So yes, I did experience something new."

Lucy giggles a bit, nodding over and over. "Oh yes! Happy times indeed, dancing has been happy... It is difficult, though- My legs are not normally bending so much, usually my wings are fluttering," she says, fluttering her wings in order to hover in place.

Kahleen knew she didn't have much "shade" left. The night was about to come to an end and there was still a ball to take. She took her hand away from Kent's and reached it around to meet with he other hand, like a hug. She reached two fingers inside her other glove removing a small, white ball. "Kent, outside of Halloween, do you refrain from killing demons?" She asked in a concerned way.

Kahleen dropped the ball behind Kent as Kahleens image flickered a bit. She had placed a doppelganger in Kent's arms, its face frozen with Kahleen's smiled and its steps out of time. The real Kahleen now hovering behind Kent. She looked up at the ball, still tuned into Kents response, she slowly floated upward to it, giving Garoth a wink. Levitation was taxing so she would take her time.

Mollianne allows herself a bit of space at that moment, needing to smooth out her dress slightly in a few spots, leaning forward as she does in order to get to her hemline. "I know. Trust me, I know what it is like to be different from everyone else. I used to be really awkward anywhere outside of the sea, too. It is where I come from. It took a long time for me to get used to the landwalkers' way of things."

Kent looked extremely confused. "I...No I usually don't..." Why would she ask that? Ideas raced through Kent's mind. He sighed, "It is difficult to find evil here though. Everything is strange, and it seems magic is so commonplace." He seemed worried. Consiland was acctually hoping that he DID kill them on Halloween, why the concerned voice?

Lucy leans down and looks at Molly's dress. "Oh! Um, I did not mention, I should..." she mumbles, looking flustered, "I thought it, said it with smells... The dress, in it you look beautiful. Very! Very much."

Garoth doesn't know why he is willing to put himself out so far for her, but begins wandering to the table as the light in his pumpkin begins to flicker, a good thief needs a good distraction I suppose. The clothes were a bother anyways, a light spark catching randomly from nowhere against his coat tails, beginning to smoulder and take.

Mollianne smoothes out a wrinkle or two, her dress and attire flashing in the light of the room. She straightens, folding her hands together in a very ladylike gesture at her stomach. "Well thank you, I appreciate that very much. What were you doing to say about mentioning something, dear? I think I missed it when I was fixing my dress."

Lucy says 'Oh! Oh, I was meaning that I had said pretty with smells, but forgot words, earlier. That is all!'

Mollianne smiles. "Ah, yes. Unfortunately, my nose is not quite that complex. But I appreciate the compliment, nevertheless. I had it made for me just a short time ago, specifically for tonight and at Crossroads' request. It turned out better than I though, and though I do not care for the amount of clothing involved in wearing it, it is a cute design."

Kahleen drifted upward, to the ceiling. "Oh...I see you made it after all. Well, that stuff I said earlier, you see. It was-Ya know I was Kidding-haha-Right?" Kahleen didnt find his "way out" amusing. She removed a vial of corrosive acid from her dress pocket and dabbed a couple of drops onto the ball's means of suspension. If it timed out, it would eat through by the time others noticed Garoth's clothing aflame. Meanwhile the doppleganger danced in a waddling way, still just smiling.

Lucy giggles and smiles, shrugging a bit. "Molly need not wear much around me if she not want, yes," she says, her feelers twitching, "But now is a bad time, right?"

"What exactly are you doing up there, my lady?" Dr. Clemente had noticed Kahleen's strange antics and decided to investigate, raising an eyebrow from the ground below. "Is something amiss that I need to know about?"

Consiland smiled awkwardly at Kent, not giving a reply. Kent rambled a bit worriedly. "Those who are affiliated with demons, however, I offer protections for." Perhaps she was a sinner, and that's why she was so worried? "I offer protection to those who confess, so they might seek out the light in safety. Atonment can be dangerous. Demons don't take betrayal lightly."

Mollianne offers a minor shrug, showing dismissal. "It is a landwalker thing. I have my tribal clothes that I wear normally, and that is fine for me. For special occasions, though, sometimes you have to dress up for effect. And really, it is not as big a deal with it as I make it sound; sometimes I just find landwalkers' fascination with clothes and covering up hard to understand, that is all. It seems a silly premise to be up in arms about when there are lots of bigger problems to deal with."

Lucy nods and twiddles her thumbs a little, her wings fluttering. "So, um, may I come see Molly here sometimes? After this?" she asks, smiling.

As the fire begins to take more, Garoth thinks to himself 'what am I doing... becoming a flaming pumpkinhead won't help' he lets it go a moment longer before noticing the smoke, giving what he hopes is an attention grabbing a shout of surprise as he takes off the coat and begins trying to stomp the fire out of it.

Kahleen looked down at the Dr. calling up to her. "You're in for it now! TOLD YOU IT WOULD BE FUNNY! FIRE AWAY!" The pumpkin tables explode into laughter. "Good one, "THIEF"! BAHAHA!" Kahleen scowled at the ball and then back to the Dr. The acid had already been eating away at the ball's support and it wouldn't take much longer to finish.

Kahleen draws her mouth to one side as she ponders. Her consetration now broken, the doppelganger would vanish and her levitation would give some. "Look its Ball-Z. He's not what you think he is. He's a monster, a demon, a plague on this world. I'm simply removing him with my methods." Kahleens super natural levitation wouldn't hold much longer and neither would the ball.

Dr. Clemente folds his arms over his chest, not looking too happy, even more so when he doesn't receive a response. "Miss, I am giving you to the count of 'three' to come back down here and stop messing with this establishment's decor. And please don't let me actually reach the professed number. Just enjoy the party, like everyone else."

Kent stumbled back as his date faded from his arms. He frantically looked around. Above him, he heard Consiland's voice, and noticed a bouncer approaching her. He didn't know what to do right now. Every bone in his body was telling him to draw his sword and attack someone. But who? The Bouncer? The ball? ...Consiland? He backed away slowly. What had happened? What has Consiland done?

Mollianne smiles faintly, letting her thoughts work for a moment. In truth, she didn't know what was going to happen after tonight. Now that Lora was back, Crossroads wasn't going to need her to work the cafe anymore. She would likely have to pack her things up and head back... to Monstro Town. She frowned softly, knowing what awaited her there. Nothing.

With a sigh, Mollianne looks up at Lucy, uncertainty evident. "Maybe, Lucy. I am not really sure. See, I do not live around here; I am just staying with some friends, following something bad that happened to a lot of us. After tonight.. I may have to pick up the pieces I have been ignoring and get my life moving again. It is something I have been avoiding for a few weeks now."

Lucy frowns and starts to frantically flutter her wings, before nearly jumping forward to hug Molly. "Well, if I see you not again... Then I should say goodbye, yes? Although, I want not to say goodbye..." she says, frowning.

Mollianne hugs Lucy gently, her smile returning even if it is faint. "It will be okay, honey. Given our... situation, it is unlikely that I will not be back. And like I said, I do not know what will really happen from here. I need to dwell on it after tonight, and figure it out. It is hard to explain, really, and I do not mean to confuse you." She glanced over the wasp-girl's shoulder in mid-hug, eyeing Kyuubey but not saying anything at all. His presence here was a bit ominous, despite his lack of bvious intent.

Kahleen 's levitation was sputtering out. It would drop her a good distance and catch her, drop her even further, catch her. It was apparent she was getting tired. She kept looking up at the ball. It would drop any second. "You dont understand, Sir. Its too late. Its coming down." "You should have just listened to me and you wouldn't be in this spot." Kahleen looked to the side, with her one eye barley open. "Maybe you were right..."

Kahleen removed her hood and held it out, ready to catch the ball. She wobbled her head over to the man with words and threats. "I'll give it back to you but it wont hold its place of power...Its..." Kahleen was on the verge of passing out. The acid would finally finish eating the suspension, freeing the ball. Kahleen held her hood out, catching the ball. She sat the hood, with ball wrapped inside, beside her and pushed it away to seem as cooperative as she could.

Lucy frowns and tickles all over Molly's back with her feelers, keeping the hug somewhat tight. "Many thanks..." she says softly, "Hopefully we meet again soon, yes? Very hopefully, yes. No, no! We will!"

Kent ran to Consiland and the ball. He grabbed it and placed it right in front of the host. "There you go, I'm sorry this happened. We won't cause any more trouble" Kent bowed politely to him, in a trained gentlemanly fasion. Then he turned around and wrapped his arms around Consiland, comforting her as much as he could. "You were...No. Don't explain it. I don't care. You seem tired now. I got you, Consiland. I got you."

Garoth finishes putting out his coat, noticing he only got the attention of a few people, noticing Kahleen was having troubles and begins quickly making his way over after grabbing his coat, seeing the doctor nearby and not knowing if that was a good sign.

Dr. Clemente looks unimpressed by what he's seen, even more so when it happens despite his request for it not to. As he raises his hand, however, Kent comes to the rescue and offers him back the severed light ball. The doctor looks between the two of them calmly, lowering his hand and offering a nod at Kent. "See that you don't. Destroying property is not an acceptable pasttime." And he turns, heading back toward the end with his other socialites.

A few nearby guests pick up the ball in question, sending it elsewhere for the chain to eventually be repaired and refitted.

Mollianne nods gently, some dust fluttering down from her wings as they ruffle up somewhat, a number of things going through her mind. These next few days were going to drain what brain reserves she had left, she could tell. She tries to pull back from Lucy, noting that many of the guests have retired for the evening and that the party seems to be winding down. "Yes.. as I said. I do not see myself being able to stay away for too long.."

Lucy frowns, and nods, letting go of Molly. She dusts herself and begins to idly clean her feelers, fidgeting in place a little. "Take care of youself..." she says softly, trying to smile at Molly, "I need to go find family anyway."

Mollianne gets an idea all of a sudden, feeling a little bad at only half-explaining her situation to the girl. Her right wing opens and bends inward, allowing her to reach it more easily; she takes hold of it, and with a small wince, plucks a long white feather free from it, allowing it then to re-flatten against her back with the other one. Mollianne offers this feather to Lucy. "Here, take this. Consider it a present from me, since we are friends. With your sense of smell, it should be something tha

that will remind you of me, too, if it really does take a while before I am around again." Mollianne smiles happily, black-tipped bangs loose in front of her eyes.

Kahleen flopped her head back, looking up at Kent and now Garoth. "" she said partly nodding off. She stood up, using Kents embrace as leverage. Once on her feet she would wobble. Kahleen's other eye would peek open a bit and her vision zoomed in at Kent's neck. She saw his jugular pulsating and could hear the thumping of his heart like it was echoing throughout the ball room.

Kahleen was almost in a trance. One of her knees gave in, and she caught herself with her hand that was on Kent. She was taken from the trance. "" She turned to face the two "I'll see you guys later. How would she make it anywhere like this?

Lucy gasps a little and quickly grabs the feather, tickling all over it with her feelers, before holding it close. "Many, many thanks..." she says, little teardrops forming below her eyes, "I will be sure to keep it safe, very very safe!" She quickly takes the feather and sort of places it in her hair, letting it point back from her hair, smiling.

Kent tried to follow her stumbling around. He took off his mask and walked slowly to the door, watching to see if Consiland could keep her balance. "Are you sure you're okay?" He extended his hand, possibly for the last time of the night. "I would be honored to walk you home."

Mollianne offers Lucy another curtsey, still as awkward as the first time. There were apparently some things that were probably just better left to people who weren't half-avian. "I know you will. Please be careful, Lucy. And I hope you find the rest of your colony."

Lucy smiles and nods, bowing a little. "I will! They are somewhere, somewhere close, very likely... What is there left tonight? People seem to be going..."

Lorastine looks around as the party was winding down. It all happened so fast, it seemed like a blur to her. She really wished she had more time to enjoy it, but nothing lasts forever. She looked down at her necklace at the shell and smiled a little bit. She could see her reflection in the smooth glassy surface, but she imagined Kyrk's, "We did get to enjoy the halloween ball together atleast." she whispered to it.

Kahleen smiled at Kent. "" Kahleen stmbled over to Garoth. "" She dozed for a second before her eyes flew open. "GAROTH!-Oh, hey. There you are. Could you give me a flock...will you wal-" She asked and waited for kent to respond before she would cooperate with Garoth's assistance.

Garoth walks after Kent and Kahleen, "This party isn't quite how I imagined it, if you would like, I can help getting you home?" his skull wobbles a little on his neck, the adhesive beginning to loosen.

Mollianne looks over her shoulder, first at where Kyuubey still is, then at the other few guests that remain, and finally at Lorastine, her expression faltering slightly at what she was doing. It tugged at her heart in a very upsetting way. She looks back at Lucy, with a nod. "There is very little left, I suppose. I will stay behind and help Dr. Clemente clean up after the guests leave, but... I think I need to do one last thing."

Mollianne heads past Lucy with another faint smile, and even as the party winds down, she addresses the band on stage, making a brief exchange with them over something.

Lucy nods and flutters her wings a little, walking over to grab her pot. "I shall go then. Many thanks, again. If you need me... If you need me, I will try to find you. Maybe I can smell you, yes?" she says, smiling, beginning to walk off.

Mollianne looks particularly pleased after a moment, and turns back, nodding as she passes by Lucy as she departs, offering her a happy little wave before making her way over to Lora, and tugs on her dress lightly, almost like a little kid. "Lora?"

Lorastine looks up suddenly from her train of thought and put the shell down. "Oh hey, Molly." she replied with a smile, wondering what she wanted.

Kent lunged to catch Consiland, but she caught herself. "I uhh" He was collecting his thoughts while looking at her. "Yeah, I'll be sure to be there sometime..." The knight walked back over to Consiland and Garoth. Quickly, he leaned over and kissed he cheek. "" Kent shifted his gaze to Garoth. He nodded to him, with a face with one clear meaning: Keep her safe.

Mollianne smiles up at Lorastine, offering her hand. At that moment, a calm sort of song comes playing within the ballroom, heavy of saxophone and blues-y instruments, a classical dance-type song. "You shouldn't be the only one to miss out tonight. Can I have this dance, Lorastine?" Her face beams as she holds out her hand to the Hylian woman, tiny fangs poking out in the midst thereof.

Lorastine blinks confused for the moment before a tint of pink grew on her cheeks. "S-sure." she said taking Mollianne's hand gingerly. She couldn't help but blush for some odd reason.

Garoth nods to Kent as he places his pumpkin on top of his shoulders, not particularly noticing (or caring) that he lost the skull, scooping Kahleen up in his arms "Have a good night, paladin" he begins to leave the ballroom behind, making his way through truce with Kahleen in his arms, taking what instructions she may give him on his trek.

Mollianne grins and holds Lorastine's hand lightly but firmly, not letting their height difference be too much of a hinderance. She places her other hand gently around Lorastine's waist, and gently rocks in a slow rhythm to the music's quiet tone, hoping the allow Lorastine a time to not have to worry about things for awhile. Nobody wanted to be alone. She wanted to make sure Lorastine understood this, too.

Kahleen waves to Kent as she limply hangs on Garoth. "Thanks for a wonderful night, Kent. I'll see you soon!" She shouts, sounding like she is drunk. She turns in the direction they walk and rambles to Garoth about how the tables put her down and the ball lead their every move. The wise words of the fire-place-sheet...

Lorastine presses up against her Siren partner as they swayed to the music. She gives off an embarrassed smile and closes her eyes as she gets more into the flow of the song. "Molly.. Thanks." she says while holding onto her dance partner.

Kent waved back at her. He wanted to shout "Good night" be refrained from doing so. Loud noises wouldn't do Consiland any good. Instead He placed his mask in his pocket and began out the door himself. He had a good night indeed. Once every year he could find peace, he speant it well. Kent walked back to the Inn and pondered silently about the future. "Paladin...I like that"

Mollianne rests her head against Lorastine's chest, letting the music guide her movements in tune with Lora's. "You do not have to thank me..." Her voice has dropped considerably, perhaps afraid of conflicting with the song's tone. "I just want to make sure you understand something. People care about you. They need you. And even when things get tough... you need to be strong. Because if something happens to you, you leave them behind... and then you cannot truly protect anyone."

Mollianne says 'Potect yourself... then protect your loved ones. This is something Kyrk would say, if he were with us right now. I am sure of it.'

Lorastine listens to what she was told and tears up slightly. She closes her eyes to try and prevent it, but fails miserable as it ends up squeezing out a few drops. She let out a laugh which was more like a mixture of crying with a laugh. "That would be something he'd say... wouldn't it." she replied as she shook her head, against the top of Mollianne's.

Mollianne sways lightly, allowing herself to be the strong one at this time. She'd have plenty of time for emotional breakdown when she was forced to return home, to an empty bunker full of Kyrk's possessions. It wasn't something she was looking forward to. But at this moment, it wasn't about her. It was about Lora. She smiled instead, squeezing Lora's hand gently as the soothing song played on, them being close to the only remaining people still in the ballroom at this time. "It is okay, Lora.. we are here for you." She glanced sidelong for just a moment, meeting Kyuubey's eyes where he sat at the far end of the room, still perched on a table. Mollianne closed her eyes then, shifting against the underside of Lora's neck. "We always will be. Remember, I promised."

Lorastine smiles and shakes her head. "I want to be there for you all too." she says and grips Mollianne's hand tight and finishes the dance as the song came to a close. "Thank you again. For everything." she said with a friendly smile. "Especially for this last dance."

Mollianne smiles up at her, nodding. Her sizeable wings ruffle up considerably from the acknowledgement, and for the first time that evening, her face takes on a slight crimson tint, showing off a mild sense of embarassment. "Anytime, Lora. You needed it."

[-----OUTSIDE, TAKING PLACE DURING THIS SAME EVENING...-----]

The Rabite's Promise - Peaceful Park
Chain-link fencing surrounds a large plot of land on the east side of
the cafe, where grass grows steadily and is kept neatly-trimmed by the
faculty of the adjacent business. Several looming pieces of child-adored
equipment are set up within this location, including a tall metallic slide,
a jungle gym, and a sturdy swingset. At one end is a boxed-in sand pit, and
nearby, and a small stone fountain recycles water within its miniature basin for
thirsty kids and adults alike. It is a quiet place with no tree cover to
blot out the sky, and only the distant bustle of Truce's suburbs coming from
the east. A gate in the fence opens to the southwest, where the cafe's
patio resides.

The pristine water within the rocky fountain flows with ease as its surface reflects Eevee's face. He seems to have really gotten into the 'sitting around staring into a fountain' thing. But why this one? Strange for a pokemon like Eevee, or rather THIS Eevee, to change locations for no apparent reason. Or perhaps there was a reason.

Mula scampers into the area and looks around cautiously. She was about to relax until she she saw someone else at the fountain. She slowly approaches this fountain area, keeping a safe distance from..whatever it was.

While Eevee's fragile mind has grown since falling into the cleft, it is still as Salamando said, shattered into many pieces. The recent passage of time has been difficult for him, bouncing between the familiarity of living in the wild and the unfamiliarity of life in a civilized society. While the cleft has room for all kinds of creatures, Eevee has not once felt as if he 'belonged' anywhere.

Mula would get a bit closer, but is...distracted by something. In the middle of the grass, a few flowers seemed to be growing. She scampers over to one and, you'd expect her to smell it, right? No, she picks it and starts to nibble on it, like it was a carrot, or something similar.

As Eevee stares into the water, his memory flashes back to his wounded state at Salamando's mercy. Inside his heart, he can feel as if a fiery tug is gently 'pulling' him in the direction of the Beast Kingdom. To gain much needed perspective of life and of the cleft, he would need to travel there as Salamando had reccomended. But such a course of action would take some time, and diving into the unknown isn't something a creature born in the wild does so haphazardly.

And committing to such a journey would mean leaving everything behind. His little sister, Julexa. His fellow bodyguard, Finn. The friends he met along the way: Riko, Qupoma, Nagol, and that one pony..but most important of all would be Mogwai. Eevee had been fighting uncomfortable feelings around the exotic moogle. He would almost prefer to take the journey alone. But these thoughts are interrupted as Eevee's ears twitch in response to his instincts warning him that another presence was nearby.

Mula tenses up as the creature near the stone pond moves and she looks around for a moment, but sees nowhere to hide. So, she slowly inches her way to the fountain, still not sure what the creature's intentions are.

Heeding his instincts, Eevee turns his head ever so slightly until another creature enters his peripheral vision. At this point, he would normally bear fangs as a warning and lay down his territorial ground. That is what one would do in the wild. But recent experiences have taught him that the cleft does not follow these rules, that simply because a creature may not appear human does not mean that they don't possess the intelligence of one. Oh how Eevee envied that.

Still, there were creatures like Mogwai and Riko who could communicate with Eevee. And he knew enough by now about civilization that one should inflict a greeting before inflicting a wound. And so Eevee turned his head complete to look upon the creature approaching him, "Eevee? (Are you friend or foe?)" he asks. Okay, so he hasn't quite mastered 'hello' yet.

Mula twitches and tenses up as she hears it speak? Well, speak she guesses, but she plays along. "Depends. A-are you w--." She seems to pause before she chokes out the word she was trying to form "W-with the D--Doctor?" She asks, the thought not even occuring to her that the creature would probably have no idea what the heck she was talking about.

Eevee blinks twice as he tilts his head, "Vee? (What's a doctor?)" he asks while keeping on his guard.

Mula 's suspicious were spot on, he doesn't know. "Well, wh--where I am from, t-there's this e--evil D--Doctor that d-d-does tests on us u--using a red c-cr-crystal. I'm s-su--sure that you k-know n--nothing of w-wh-what I'm saying, d--do you?" She asks.

Eevee blinks a couple times once again before shaking his head. Mogwai had taught him that gesture means 'no' if he ever had to deal with communication problems. "Eevee. (No..I've never heard of someone who does that.)" he says, easing up a little. She seemed docile enough. What's Eevee supposed to do at this stage in a conversation again? He totally forgot. He didn't expect anyone else to be here, at any rate. He chose this fountain over the town square because he didn't want to be found.

Mula blinks. "Hmm. Then that means--oh god, I must've fallen off the Island! Ohgodohgodohgodohgod--" She repeats this a few more times before calming down and taking a few, deep breaths.

Eevee steps back a little in response to the creature's sudden outburst. It was clear that she seemed confused and upset. Mogwai had taught him that it's generally proper manners to help those in need. Not that he knew what 'manners' were, he just smiled and nodded at the time. "Eevee? (Are you alright?)" he asks. That's probably more important than inquiring about some island.

Mula seems to have calmed down enough to where she can speak slowly and calmly. "Y-yeah, I'm alright. I j--just realized t--that, if I'm h--here, I m-mu-must've f--fell from my h--home..a f--floating island o--over a p--planet. That's my h--home. I g--guess t--that, in my e--effort to escape, I f--fell off. N--now, to d--determine where here is, e--exactly and how I c--can get b--back to my h--home." She still sounds a little jittery.

Eevee's ears drop a little as he listens to her story. While he didn't know much about the cleft, he knew that once someone fell in, they could not go home. Still, he could be assuming too much. Maybe her home was just somewhere in the sky and she needed a lift? Unfortunately, she seemed far too large for him to carry as Sylphideon. And he's never seen a floating island, other than the Wind Palace.

"Eevee..(Well..the place we're at right now is called..er..Trooze? It's a..uh..town.)" Eevee tries to explain. "Vee..(I'm sorry..I'm not much help. Maybe if Mogwai were here..)" he says depressingly. Oh so NOW he desires her presence, even though he ran here to hide from her and the 'party' going in town.

Mula sighs. She figured as much. Still, she had to try, right? "Oh. W--well, I never heard of a town called 'Trooze' before. What's it like? Also, who's this 'Mogwai' that you speak of?" She remarks, as she goes back to nibbling on the flower she pulled from the ground. "Also, I wonder if I'll be able to get home from here? It felt like I fell for hours before coming across that big fountain in the center of town.." She remarks, scritching beneath her chin as she looks at Eevee.

"Vee. (Well..)" starts Eevee as he trails off and casts his gaze over town. "Eevee. (It's got um..buildings. Oh, and I know that fountain you fell into! I go there a lot to think. It helps somehow. Thinking is um..a little difficult for me.)" says the pokemon. He wasn't sure he wanted to get into all the details on that. "Vee! (And Mogwai is a close friend! She's taught me a lot of things. She's probably at that 'party' thing..)" he says somewhat longingly.

Mula blinks. "Oh...wish I could go to the party, whatever a party is, but it sounds fun....oh well, I guess we can just hang out here." The Mimiga leans her head down to drink from the fountain, then she continues to nibble at the flower, now down to it's stem.

Ivane rushes out from the Ballroom and jumps onto his Warp Star as it flies in. He quickly flies off into the night.

"Vee. (Maybe it is..and she probably could have gotten me inside..but I actually came here to hide. I've been thinking of going someplace far, far away from here and leaving everything behind..)" Eevee rambles on. Why should he tell this stranger about his personal problems? Though, sometimes a stranger's perspective is all that's needed to act on a decision.

"Eevee. (I didn't have much of a 'home' before, but I'm a stranger to this world too. And from what I understand..there's no way to go back.)" And then it hit him: Eevee's selfishness. Here was an individual who just lost her home and everything she ever knew, and Eevee blurted out his desire to leave his own life behind.

Mula hears that, and her heart sinks like a lead weight. "Y--you can't...go back? Well, that's just great.." She says, slowly as she finishes the stem of the flower and just sinks down to her knees. "Well, guess that's that. At least...I don't have..to worry about..the Doctor n--" She says, as she tries to finish her sentence, but the muscles in her jaw are not responding due to the fact the realization has her sobbing something fierce right now.

Eevee's heart begins to sink as well as he observes the mimiga's sorrow. It reminded him all too well of the time he had to tell Julexa the hard truth about not being able to go back. He would have preferred it to not be so hard on the stranger, but some things just can't be helped. "Eevee..(It's..it's okay..this world's not so bad..I met some very nice friends here that I could never had met back home. And I've gone on amazing adventures and became much more powerful!)"

Eevee's words just serve to further contradict his desire to leave it all behind. What was so complicated in his heart that would push him to such a decision?

Mula looks up then, and raises to her feet. "Y-yeah, your right. I have to make the best of it." She says, reaching down and patting the Eevee on it's head. "You know, your a really friendly..uh..creature." She says, not quite sure what to make of this thing in front of her, however, she sees a bushy tail and pokes it. What WAS this thing?

Eevee smiles, content that the mimiga seems to have cheered up. He wasn't quite comfortable with his tail being poked at, but whatever made her feel better. "Eevee! (I'm Eevee! At least, that's what I keep getting called here. I was never called anything back home. There were lots of other creatures like me there, and even many of them live here in this world too!)"

Demonicor walks his way into the park from the main party, looking for something a little bit quieter for the moment as he chews on a few bits of food he swiped off the table, finding a chair or bench to sit on and look up at the night sky, a few extra pieces of food in his hand.

Mula blinks then and quickly retracts her paw-like hand. "Nice to meet you Eevee. I'm Mula, that's what everyone called me back home." She says, kneeling down beside Eevee and looks at him. "Well, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one...stuck...here.." She says, sighing then.

Before Eevee can continue on with their conversation, his instincts begin to warn him again of another presence. He almost wanted to debate and smack his instincts for giving him the wrong impression of his new mimiga friend. Still, EeveeSense(TM) was adamant. He turned his head into the direction of an approaching human. "Vee. (Someone's there..a human.)" he mutters softly. Other than Finn, he didn't like most humans.

"Eevee? (Most of their kind don't understand me like you can..maybe you could ask him if he knows anything about your home?)" asks Eevee as he glances back towards Mula briefly before turning his gaze on the intruding human.

Mula turns her head downwardly towards Eevee. "Well, no harm in trying..however I feel that it might just give me weird looks and I might scare him away." She says to Eevee as she lifts her head to to the human. "ello there, would you happen to know anything about a cave with more of my kind living in it on a floating island high in the sky?" She knew this was futile, but she doesn't know until she tries.

Demonicor blinks as he glances over at the bunny-creature "Hmm? I don't believe I have, but then, I've been about the forest the past few years" he takes off his helmet and sets it off to the side, revealing mid-length darker hair and eyes dancing with motes of red white and black.

Eevee was content with the thought of Mula scaring him away. Granted, the human could very well be just as nice and as cool a dude as Finn (Not likely!), but his prejudice was dominate. And for good reason: he's used to humans who would seek to abuse his power.

Mula sighs. "Well, thanks anyway..." She sighs, and looks down at Eevee. "Well, I tried..." She says to Eevee as she shifts slightly near the fountain to take another drink from it and picks another flower and starts to eat it like it was no big deal.

Nagol walks out of the Ballroom and looks around and says to himself, "I wonder where he went?" He looks over and sees Eevee. He walks over and says to Eevee, "Hey there Eevee, it has been awhile since we last saw eachother.

"Sorry I couldn't help" Demonicor gives a small shrug and lies back along the bench, settling his food down on the ground beside himself as he relaxes on the bench.

Eevee winces as Nagol's voice reaches his ears. Not that it was anything personal, seeing a friend he was familiar with was always nice. But was sort of trying to hide from people here. Where were all these people coming from, anyway? Eevee turns towards Nagol to greet him, but spots an unknown figure instead. He growls fiercely as he bears his fangs towards him, worried that some form of madness had taken him once again.

"Vee! (Are you the one who manipulated Nagol before? What have you done to him!?)" says Eevee after his initial growling. Obviously Eevee doesn't know what a costume is.

"I'm ok Eevee, I'm just wearing my costume." Nagol says to Eevee. Nagol takes off his mask and you can now see his normal blue face and a bit of his body.

Mula looks over at Eevee. "What's wrong?" She asks, having no idea what a costume is either, or why Eevee is so up at arms over it. Then, this person removes the mask and reveals that he is...blue? Mula raises a furred eyebrow but she dismisses it.

Eevee tilts his head in confusion. Well it did seem to be Nagol after all. And EeveeSense(TM) didn't raise a ruckus over it before. It even goes as far as to scold Eevee for jumping to conclusions. Honestly, when will you learn? I'm always right, etc. etc. Eevee tries to shake the strange thoughts that had entered his mind.

Eevee glances towards Mula briefly, "Vee. (I thought..er..Mula, this is Nagol. He was once controlled by someone and I had to fight him. He doesn't usually look like this..I was worried that he may have been under control again. You'll have to tell him your name yourself. Like the human, I have problems communicating with him too.)"

The Mimiga nods, looking up at Nagol. "Hello there, my name's Mula. What's yours?" She asks, as she takes a few more nibbles from the flower in her paw-like hand. "Why do you look like that?" She asks, then.

Nagol looks over to Mula and says, "I'm in this costume because of the Halloween Party going on back there. Also, my name is Nagol. It is nice to meet you, Mula" Nagol turns to Eevee and says, "That reminds me. Eevee, Mogwai was wonder where you were earlier."

Eevee's eyes widen a little as he grits his teeth and bows his head slightly. Well this was a pickle. He wondered if it would be wise to share his plans with Nagol. Or even if he caught on to Mula's communication capabilities for that matter. For now he just says nothing, hoping that Mula would derail the conversation into another topic.

Mula blinks. "Halloween Party? What's a...Halloween Party? Is that like a birthday party?" She asks, as she appears to be thinking, crossing her eyes as she does so and tries to continue nibbling her flower, and failing because she sees two of them and keeps on biting the wrong one.

Demonicor sits up, looking back at the party "Pity to have to leave so soon..." he sighs and takes something out of his pocket and looks it over before setting it back in his pocket and making his way out of the park, leaving the food where it is near the bench with his shinra helmet, both forgotten.

"Yeah, Halloween is kinda like that. You could learn more about it at the Library in Viorar I bet. Nagol looks towards the Fountain of Dreams, which is located above the Western Sea. He sees something going on over there and says, "I think I know where my Brother is now. Nagol jumps onto his Warp Star as it flies down, and waves goodbye to Eevee and Mula. He flies off towards the Fountain of Dream, knowing that a battle is going on over there.

Eevee seems to ease up as he watches Nagol fly away. Whew, that was close. "Veee! (Thanks for changing the topic..I didn't want him to find out why I'm hiding here.)"

Mula smiles. "Your welcome.." She says, patting Eevee on the back. "However, I should be off. If I'm stuck here, might as well find a place to call home." She says, as she scampers out the open gate towards the city proper again.

Eevee shouts a farewell, hoping that she'll find a nice home. He knows how hard it is, and this phase of adapting to the cleft was generally something best done alone. Still, he was happier than when he started in the park. He met another friend like Riko and Mogwai, which just prooves to further contradict his subconcious intentions to leave everyone behind. He looks down into the fountain once more before starting off towards Rabite Forest. Tonight would not be a good night to stay with Mogwai.
