[-----TAKEN FROM MOLLIANNE'S PERSPECTIVE-----]

Fa'Diel - Myrrh Island
A wide plateau-like area, this gateway to Myrrh Island contains many old
landmark sculpture whose cultural relevance is now forgotten. This flat
grassy green oval area is bordered by frail trees with golden yellow leaves,
monoliths of marble marking each compass point. The largest monolith stands
in the center of the area, twice the height and width, metal bars stretching
from its peak toward the others, which are topped with golden sculptural
lenses. A road stretches to the east toward the main continent's
mountaineous coast through a large stone lens gateway across a natural high
land bridge bordered by the sea. Further west is a small cobblestone path
leading into a cave, the only other accessible part of this high cliff
island whose edges tower hundreds of feet over the ocean surface.

Mollianne had lead the Wishborn on across Fa'Diel toward the west; A cave here, a forest there. She kept a pretty good pace despite her apparent load, the large lump seen on the back of her small form, under her layers of leather. She smiled pretty much the whole time, occasionally chattering on about nothing and everything on a whim.

Eventually, she led them to the edge of a cave beyond Luon Highway. Mollianne stopped there, seeming thoughtful about something for a good several minutes without saying anything.

Lorastine follows alongside Mollianne for most of the trip, staying next to her, but slightly behind since she was leading. The silence was killing her so she decided to make small talk. "Mollianne, right? How long have you known Kyrk?"

During the trip Crossroads had not been much for talking. More than anything she was afraid of what they could end up finding once they reached their destination. A sick Kyrk? A dead body? A yoma? It made her wonder about what would happen if if something happened to her companions in any of those situations and what she could do for them, if anything at all. When Molly stopped infront of the cave she looked around, "Is something wrong?"

Tyrranis taps his foot, frowning. "Why have we stopped? Is our distination not close to us right now?" Kyrk was close. Tyrranis didn't want to sit around and wait, no matter if Kyrk was a 'special case'.

Mollianne looks up quickly, looking over her shoulder before stupidly realizing she can't see past the huge thing on her back, and proceeds to turn around instead. "Oh no, we are almost there. I am sorry, I was just thinking about something and I got lost in thought. To be honest, the last half of the trip went by without me evening noticing. But no, we are getting close, just a little bit further."

Mollianne turns back around, pressing toward the cave to the west. "I think it has been a couple of years, maybe not quite two. We take care of each other; I do things for him, and he does things for me. We are a pretty good team, if I can put it that way." She pauses, but only in her words, not in her steps. "Do not worry. Everything should be fine."

Lorastine smiles and nods with Mollianne's response. "Sounds like fun for you two."she replies with a smile. "I'm kind of envious."

Crossroads slowed her pace a little as she entered the cave, trying to let her eyes adjust to the darkness before she ended up tripping over something. "So you two are a couple then, or..?"

Mollianne tenses at Crossroads' query, but since she's facing away, they probably couldn't make out the change in expression on her face. She heads on for a short distance further, not offering an immediate response.

Fa'Diel - Myrrh Island: High Cliff Cave
The corridor leads to a small cylindrically carved area which appears
to be well traveled and marked by recent excavation. Stalagmites from the
ceiling appear to be unnatural and carved out purposefully, with holes
sliced through their tips, holding metallic rings which in turn clamp onto
small oil lamps. Along the sides of the walls are various old metallic
stands carrying more torches, some burned out. The southern wall has some
sort of suspicious indentation.

You say 'We are not, no. We just have mutual benefits; he works hard in one way, and I work hard in my own. Together, we keep each other alive. Besides this, I am still not used to a lot of this world. I fell in here from somewhere else only a short time before Kyrk found me. He offered me a helping hand, so I took it.'

Mollianne stops at this point, having come to a seeming dead end. Kyrk is nowhere to be found.

Lorastine listens to Mollianne as she continues speaking interested in the story. She blinks when she finds themselves at a dead end. "Oh... did we go the wrong way?" She askes looking around.

A dead end. For a moment, Crossroads had thought Molly had gotten lost. Lorastine asked the question she was about to ask first, so she decided to ask something else, "Are you from another world too then?"

Tyrranis narrows his eyes. A dead end? His stance slowly slides into a ready position. Why the hell was this girl leading them to a dead end in a cave? A trap?

Mollianne turns toward the eastern wall, inclining her head. "Nope! This is the place." She looks from one side of her to the other. "Kyrk is, too. Ah.. Crossroads? I think that was what you said your name was. Anyway, yeah. One minute I was visiting the ocean outside Caer Fandry, then suddenly here. At least that big fountain was there to break my fall." She puts one small hand on the wall, and clears her throat.

You say 'Authorize elevator operation, code m-0-1-1-i-a-n-n-3, transport from top level, confirm.'

A digital voice resonates from the wall nearby: "Authorization and voice recognition confirmed. Please board the elevational transport system."
The wall computer panel unlocks the door.
The wall computer panel opens the door.

Mollianne nods happily, gesturing. "Everyone inside."

Monstro Town - Surface Elevator
The inside of this elevator is pretty sleek, considering it leads from
the surface to below ground. A glass window surrounds the entire perimeter
of the small room, and metallic over- and undercaps, marked with edge
lighting, fit snugly over the top and bottom as it takes you toward your
next destination.

Lorastine looks around once the door opens. "Wow I would have never know a place like this exists here."

Lorastine feels the smooth sleek walls with her hand considering it was a vast difference from the rocky surface of the cave.

Crossroads nods when you seemed unsure about her name. She cautiously steps into the elevator, feeling just as impressed as Lora. "Elevational transport system." She said the words slowly "So its an elevator?" She tried to hide the small twinge of excitement in her voice. She had never been in an elevator before, but she had heard of them.

Tyrranis steps into the elevator and frowns. For a moment, he was excited that there might be a fight. The prospect that Mollianne had been leading them on a wild chase to bring them to a secluded point and then kill them. But instead it was a secret door. He lets out a small sigh.

Mollianne turns in a half-circle once inside the elevator, touching something on the side of the elevator wall near where they entered. "Have you never been on one before? They are not good for claustrophobes, but very nice for getting around otherwise. Kyrk had it installed while he was setting up a place to stay down here. This was even before I came around."

Mollianne lowers her head somewhat, looking at a spot on the wall nearby.

You say 'Authorize door seal, code 0-1-0-2-1-9-8-4, confirm.'

A digital voice resonates from the wall nearby: "Authorization and voice recognition confirmed. Now closing and sealing entry hatch. Please keep arms and legs free of entry frame to prevent injury."
The wall computer panel closes the door.
The wall computer panel locks the door.

Mollianne smiles and looks up as the elevator begins to descend, passing sections of rock and wall outside the glass interior as they go. "It will only be another minute or so. Thanks for being patient."

Lorastine feels a little cramped in the elevator especially with Tyrranis's size taking up a lot of room. She bore with it for the time being as she felt her body rise a little as the elevator started to descend. "How far down do you live?"

" No, this is my first..." Crossroads eyes widened as the elevator started to move taken by surprise by the sensation it produced. She instinctively reached for the nearest thing she could find for support which just so happened to be Tyrranis's arm.

Tyrranis raises an eyebrow when Crossroads grabs his arm, and sharpens up his own mental picture a bit. This was no time to be lusting for battles not had. He was on his way to help Kyrk.

The elevator descends for another minute or so, before coming to a slow and easy stop. The north door slides open once the motion has stopped completely, leading into another room. Mollianne, all smiles this whole time, heads out this same door, to the north.

Monstro Town - Kyrk's Domicile: Foyer
This short hallway is welcoming despite its cramped atmosphere; the
ceiling is pretty low, but is also well-lit with a string of lights fitted
at set intervals from one end to the other. A small closet stands against
the wall, one door partially opened already. A doorless frame leads into a
large room to the west, while a glass elevator door stands as a sentinel
against the far end of the south wall.

Mollianne stretches her arms out easily once out of the elavator, turning to a small closet nearby within the small hallway. She promptly begins disrobing herself of her leather attire, setting down her medicine bag nearby. First the exterior cape, then the leather cloak. Finally...

Mollianne is left in a very simple getup as she puts her "travelling clothes" away in the closet, and even begins humming as she does. A long teal skirt hugs her waist down to the floor and then some, and an odd leather strap wraps around her torso, front and back.

Lorastine looks around the house with constant wonder until she noticed Mollianne getting changed. More importantly she noticed the wings on her back. "You have wings too!" She exclaims happily walking over to her. "They are so pretty."

Crossroads utters an apology in embarrasment and lets go of Tyr when the elevator comes to a stop, quickly following you out. She wasn't looking forward to finding out what acending on the thing was going to feel like. As Molly takes off her traveling clothes she blinks in surprise. All the time she had been traveling with them she had not suspected that she was hiding wings under her clothes!

Tyrranis runs an eye up and down Mollianne as she disrobes, but doesn't seem to care overly much. Winged people had tried to kill him before. "So where exactly is Kyrk?"

Mollianne grins, offering her small fangs for viewing as she closes the closet, turning to Lorastine as she walks over. "Thank you! I preen them often, 'cause I am self-conscious about them getting dirty or messy. I did not mean to hide them specifically from you, I just get nervous when going so far from home. There are always unsavory people everywhere, you know?"

Still smiling, Mollianne addresses Tyrranis. "He is in the den, unless he came to while I was gone." She stoops to pick up her bag of medicine, and turns, backing up a step and proceeding to run her taloned feet on a rug nearby, making loud scratchy-type noises in the process. "If you feel comfortable with it, please take your shoes or boots off become coming inside. Or just wipe your feet really good."

It seems obvious at this point that the rug Mollianne used to wipe her own avian feet off on is in pretty sorry shape. Full of streaks and even a couple tears.

Lorastine smiles and nods. "I think I know what you mean. I may not have them out, but I absolutely love mine. They are so convenient." She smiles and takes off her shoes when directed to. It was only common courtesy to do so. She blinked when she heard where Kyrk was, wanting to see him. However it would be difficult to get a good word in with the others around.

Crossroads slipped off her shoes, not trusting the rug to clean them off completely. Having no wings herself, she had nothing to contribute. "Alright. Lets go see Kyrk then." She said to you with a nod.

Tyrranis stomps his feet on the carpet, and steps into the house proper. He didn't much care about the entire proceedings of wings, having none himself either.

Monstro Town - Kyrk's Domicile: Den
Despite being windowless and a bit claustrophobic, this living room is
actually very nice. A sofa and loveseat are set angled to each other in one
corner, and lighting similar to the previous hallway's is installed at
varying spots within the ceiling. A small table sits between the two pieces
of furniture, with a pictureframe set upright upon its flat surface. A door
is stationed along the northern wall, and an open entryway leads south into
what appears to be a small kitchenette.

Mollianne enters the den, and almost immediately stoops to pick up a small black kitten as it runs by, as if out of habit. She lets out a squeal. "Phoebe! I missed you, honey!" Molly kisses the cat on the head, which meows disdainfully as she lets it go and scampers off.

Mollianne looks up, and toward the unconscious form of Kyrk, laid out on the sofa with a blanket up to his chin and a now-dry washcloth laid out over his forehead. His cheeks are considerably flushed, but he is breathing. A rose-colored soul gem, very darkened by corruption at this point, rests on a table nearby.

Mollianne heads over toward where Kyrk lay, her smile fading somewhat, but not all the way. "Stupid. But I'm glad you're still doing okay." Her voice lowers a bit as she speaks, despite it being obvious that he probably doesn't hear her.

Lorastine looks at Kyrk with a little frown on her face. Seeing him like this, not even responding to Mollianne. She couldn't help but feel a little guilty about his condition, even if it may not be her fault.

Crossroads frowned at seeing Kyrk's condition, between his illness and the darkened gem he looked to be in pretty bad shape. She stepped aside and looked back to Tyrranis. The sooner the grief seed he had was used the better.

Tyrranis does not stop to view Kyrk in a manner, and steps forward with the grief seed, pressing the half used treasure against Kyrk's grief seed. "There. Now wake up."

Mollianne watches Tyrranis stroll over and affix the grief seed he had to Kyrk's soul gem; the ornament clears up considerably from the action, leaving only a bit of dark cloudiness swimming throughout the rose hue. His words after, however, dissipate any thanks she was feeling, and she merely sighs, kneeling beside the sofa. "Gosh, have you never been sick before? That's not how it works. He is still a flesh-and-blood living thing, you know." She opens up the bag she has, taking out a deep green potion bottle. She fiddles with it for a moment, her taloned feet, which poke out the back of her long skirt from where she kneels, clenching together somewhat from her efforts before it pops open, and she leans over Kyrk with it in hand, smiling a little. "Down the hatch!" Mollianne carefully holds it up to his mouth as he lay there, and with her other hand massages his throat to help it go down without him choking on it.

From behind Mollianne and the others, a small white cat-like creature comes in from the foyer. Where he'd been this whole time is unknown, but hey, he's there now. He has a seat in the doorway, watching the events with silent red eyes.

Lorastine sits waiting for Kyrk to wake up and start speaking. She looks around the room for a bit until she gets a response, it was hard to look at him when he was like this. She looks back into the doorway thinking Phoebe had come back, but paused when she noticed it was Kyubbey. She froze in a bit shock like she had just seen a ghost.

Crossroads clenched her fists, completely missing Kyuubey's arrival as her eyes fell squarely on Mollianne as she tends to Kyrk. "He knows that." There was a bit of anger that escaped in her voice despite her attempt to hold back. Tyrranis had come all this way to give Kyrk that grief seed. HIS grief seed that he should have used on himself. She had seen Molly do this twice to him now, and her patience had come to an end. "You do not need to be rude and belittle him."

Tyrranis looks to Crossroads with a raised eyebrow. Her approach to that situation had been gentler than what his was going to be. Further, the fact that she had felt the need to speak for him in the first place was different. Not something Tyrranis was used to anyways. The giganto steps back from Kyrk, letting Molly fret over him.

Mollianne takes a moment to remove the now-considerably-dry cloth from Kyrk's forehead and check the temperature on his face, setting the empty medicine bottle down somewhere nearby. "I was not belittling anyone. I just thought that maybe he did not understand that, even if you have taken the Wish and become magical, keeping corruption-free is not the only way to stay healthy. Everyone can get sick like this, too, if you do not take care of yourselves." She looks and sounds a bit on the remorseful side, doubly so as she gets to her feet, still holding the cloth. "His fever is breaking, more quickly than I had thought it would. That medicine was stronger than anything I could make, and I am a healer. I can assume he will probably be more or less better by morning." Mollianne looks back at the others, one small fang peeking out over her lower lip. "I apologize. What you said is correct, and I understand those seeds are important to you. It is difficult to relate sometimes, even living with him, because I am not one of you." Mollianne looks toward the kitchen thusly. "Pardon me a moment." She sidesteps, heading around them and toward the kitchen, presumably with intent to re-dampen the cloth she's holding.

In the meantime, Kyuubey remains in the doorway to the foyer, watching the group curiously, with an occasional glance up toward something on the wall above; a bulletin board of some kind, with something black, sharp and gleaming sticking out of it, along with a note stuck thereby to it.

Lorastine is almost fixated on Kyuubey wondering is she was being delusional at the moment. After all this time she had thought the cat had been dead since it was decapitated long ago.

Crossroads wondered how hard it would have been to just say that in the first place but she let it go, feeling her anger subside a little. She turned around to the others, noticing quickly that Lorastine's gaze was directed eyeswhere. She followed it, gasping lightly when she noticed the cat there, "You're alive?"

Tyrranis glances over his shoulder to Kyuubey, and nods to the cat. "Ah, Wish-Granter. Good to see you again. How have you been these most recent days? I have seeds for you." Tyrranis begins working on opening up his bat.

The sounds of water running into a sink are heard from the room to the south, and Kyuubey stands on all fours once acknowledged, red eyes unblinking. "Quite a situation it is, being immortal. It is very hard to keep me and those of my kind down for long periods of time. For now, I have been in this region for awhile, keeping watch over Kyrk and the other Wishborn of this area. That girl is quite the caretaker, I must admit." The cat-thing walks over toward them, stopping beside Lorastine and Tyrranis, looking up between them both. "To note that you are all still alive, I am impressed. You have outlasted many in your situations, and it seems I was right to choose you. I am pleased to see that your strengths of will exceed those of the majority, thus far." Kyuubey looks up at Tyrranis, then, expectantly.

Lorastine looks down at the talking cat as it just walked in without much as a hint that it was killed before hand. She was going to object, but she remembered back to when they Erica mentioned Kyuubey returning. If she was right about that, then what else could she be right about?

Crossroads frowned remembering her intentions of killing the creature herself. Doing so had already seemed like a bad idea after she had talked to it that one night, now it just seemed entirely impossible. She says nothing though, and waits for Tyrranis to hand over the grief seeds to it.

Tyrranis kneels down with both grief seeds retrieved from his bat, and places them down infront of Kyuubey before standing again. "There you go. Interesting fights, those two." Tyrranis returns his attention to other things once that was done. He knew Kyuubey was fine. People over-react to simple things too often.

Kyuubey turns around in front of Tyrranis, swinging his poofy tail downward and flicking the two Grief Seeds up into the air rather impressively, backing up a step as the red teardrop-shaped marking on his back begins to glow, and the two seeds fall "through" it, into his back, like some weird optical illusion. As the seeds are absorbed, his back returns to normal, and he sits down facing away from them, his attention now focused on the bulletin board mentioned before, and the black shiny thing
embedded therein. "As I recall, the fights will continue to be more interesting, the longer you keep up the fight. Their current strengths lie upon the strength they once possessed when magical, so you're bound to find something who will propose quite a challenge, one day."

At that moment, Mollianne comes in from the kitchen with a newly-dampened cloth rag, and smiles at Kyuubey's presence between them all, noting what it is he's looking at on the board before kneeling down by Kyrk's prone form. "Oh, it looks like the Twins dropped something off while I was gone. That figures. You guys can have it if you want, since I inadvertently took yours." She places the cool cloth on Kyrk's forehead again.

Lorastine watches as Kyuubey collects the seeds in its back. This was the second time she had witnessed this. She always thought it was weird that they went into his back. She smiles when Molliane comes back with a fresh damp rag for Kyrk's forehead. "The twins?"

"So in other words, the stronger the magical person the harder the fight we'll have when they turn?" Crossroads glances at the board when you mention it, quickly realizing what had to have been dropped off there. Tyrranis who was the only one among them in need of a grief seed right now, and his corruption was pretty bad. She hoped he would take it and use it.

Tyrranis picks up the grief seed, and frowns at it. He had done absolutely nothing to gain this seed himself. Tyrranis looks inbetween Lorastine and Crossroads. "You two, how are your corruption levels?"

The note that was being held onto the corkboard flutters to the ground as Tyrranis takes the seed holding it there, coming to rest on the carpet below. Mollianne watches Kyrk for a moment longer before getting to her feet again, stooping to pick up the empty medicine bottle from earlier. "Are any of you opposed to meat?" Her question came on rather suddenly, and her face was all smiles, even noting the small fangs sticking out from between her lips.

Kyuubey merely sits there, his red eyes going from the seed that Tyrranis takes to the note that fell as a result of its removal.
"That is generally the way it works, yes." Kyuubey acknowledged Crossroads' query without actually looking up at her.

Lorastine looks at Tyrranis and then her gem, it was still shiny and vibrant. "My gem is fine, nothing to worry about."she replies before turning her attnetion to Molliana. She smiles and nods happliy, "No objections here."

"We are both fine." Crossroads said nodding to Tyrranis, "So you should be worrying about your gem now." She then tilts he head back a little towards Molly and her inquery. It seemed like an odd question to pop up all of a sudden in the middle of everything. "No, I'm not opposed to meat."

Tyrranis frowns, and touches the seed to his gem, gritting his teeth as the seed absorbs his corruption. He does not appear happy about this. In addition, he steps over to Kyrk again, and re-attaches the new seed to his gem, seeking to clear it up completely.

The new grief seed clears Tyrranis's soul gem completely, absorbing every ounce of darkness then-permeating his gem. As Tyrranis attempts to use what is left of the seed on Kyrk, a small amount of the already-small portion of darkness remaining is freed, but a couple minute fragments still remain as the grief seed goes inert.

Kyuubey looks over one shoulder as he sits there, apparently aware of the newly-darkened seed now available. Mollianne herself seems happy about this whole event, apparently realizing something now, but doesn't go on to say what it is. "Great, then. I will go get dinner started." She pauses, thinking for a moment.

"Lorastine, right? You can come help me in the kitchen, if you want!" She turns and half-skips into the kitchen, apparently in a fantastic mood all of a sudden.

Lorastine smiles and nods, "Sure, I'd love to help with food. It'll be good practice.. for.. work..."she replied lowering her voice as she rememebered the incident at the Inn. She had almost forgot about it. Lorastine quickly shook her feelings away and smiled happily, it was no time to be stuck on things like that right now. "What are we making?" she askes as she heads towards the kitchen.

Crossroads watches the two of them head for the kitchen but doesn't make a move to join them. She wasn't much of a cook yet considering she has only been learning for a couple years now, she would probably only manage to get in the way. Besides it didn't sound like she was invited to follow anyway.

Tyrranis puts the newly filled seed in front of Kyuubey, and then looks up to Crossroads, clearing his throat. "By the way, Cross, thank you. For earlier I mean."

Kyuubey does take up the newly-made inert grief seed, scooping it up with his tail and dropping it into his back as before. He turns in a circle afterwards for no apparently reason, and hops up onto the arm of the sofa by Kyrk's head, looking down at him obliviously.

"And here I was thinking I should be apologizing to you for stepping in like that." Crossroads shifting her gaze down at the floor, "It just made me a bit mad, thats all. I let it go the first time because we didn't know where kyrk was but... Just because you don't share the same social graces as others doesn't mean you are stupid. And it doesn't mean you need to be spoken to rudely either."

Tyrranis shrugs simply. "The easiest thing for people to think of when they see me would be that I am dumb. I am a large, heavily scarred being who is awkward in social situations. And, in truth, that is what I prefer normally. You know my early life. Even now I still struggle sometimes, I just want to quit what I am doing these days, and wander again, fighting. The only reason why I'm here is because of you, and Lorastine."

Whether inclined to speak or not, Kyuubey does after a moment, looking up from the fore of Kyrk's face where he is sitting. "You're speaking of someone who lives with a man who is devoid of emotion, you know. Her relation to outside things may not be similar to your own. But your point is likely valid in how the opposite is true, as well. I would say that it seems as though there has been an error in assumption and communication between you both. This is not an uncommon case."

Didn't that cat have some contracts to make somewhere? Needless to say Crossroads wasn't all that concerned with the situation with Mollianne at the moment. "Tyr, what is it exactly that is keeping you?" She thought she knew the answer already, but she wanted to hear it from him.

Tyrranis cocks his head at Crossroads. "An odd, if very to the point question. I am here because of many reasons. I am friends with all of you. We have formed a group to fight Witches and Yoma. And, also, I live with you. That means a good deal, to me. That is what keeps me from wandering."

[----------MEANWHILE...----------]

Monstro Town - Kyrk's Domicile: Kitchen
More of an extension of the den than its own room, it still has all the
amenities of a normal kitchen. A sink is fixed into the main counter across
one wall, and a small refrigerator is plugged into a spot nearby. A form of
miniature stove is next to it, with only two coiled burners on its surface
instead of the traditional four. The section itself seems only made for one
or two people at a time, as there suddenly becomes less elbow room all
around beyond that. A small album book is lying on the counter, next to the
sink, and a rounded door is set within the south wall.

Mollianne is already busy getting things ready; the refrigerator door closes just as Lora comes into the kitchen, and Molly sets a pack of some kind of meat on the counter as she busies herself setting a pan up for the stove. "Buffalax-meat sandwiches are what I was thinking. It is easy and doesn't take long to make, plus they are pretty popular with my friends. Can you get a couple of plates down?" Mollianne points to a cupboard nearby, still smiling broadly the whole time.

Lorastine smiles and nods "Sure no problem" she replies as she looks in the cabinets for plates. Once she found them she took down enough for everyone. "Can I ask you a question?"

Mollianne goes about unpacking the meat, scooping it up and shaping it around into patties with predefined skill and experience. "Of course you can. What is it?"

Lorastine sets down the stack of plates on the counter. "Well its about Kyrk." she says when as she takes some meat and follows Molliana's example and starts to shape the meet. She moves her hand past her ear taking her hair behind it. "Um, Did he tell you why he got sick?"

Mollianne shakes her head, setting aside a couple of patties and smiling at Lora as she takes it up without even being asked. "No, he never got the chance. He was already out when I found him, and he has not woken up since." She moves to the refrigerator after turning a burner on for the stove, grabbing a couple of tomatoes and an onion. "This is not the first time it has happened, either. He is always being reckless." Her tone sounds a contrast between fondness and annoyance.

Lorastine looks at Molly for a moment then goes back to her patties. "I see. Well thank you anyway." she replies and plops another meat patty ready for a sandwich. "Well I hope he wakes up soon."
Lorastine looks and sees an album catch her eye. "Hm? What's this?"she askes curiously.

"He should be okay by tomorrow morning. I work at a medicine shop in Viorar, so I am pretty keen on the timeframes for sicknesses and whether they start getting better based on biological differences over time." Mollianne looks over her shoulder, and around the side of one of her massive wings.

"Oh, that? It's a photo album we keep here, especially for Kyrk. It helps remind him of the reason he keeps fighting, and makes sure that we have good memories to look back upon when times get tough. You can take a look in it if you want." Mollianne's tone sounds encouraging, pleased at Lora's interest as she starts frying up some of the patties, turning as they cook to start slicing up some veggies as well.

Lorastine smiles as she looks at all the pictures. "These look so cute. I'm guessing the two extra girls are the twins?" she askes pointing to them in one of the pictures. The pictures looked like they had a lot of fun during their events. It was like taking a tour into their past.

"They are the Coldwater Twins, yes. They are magical, just like you guys. They help keep the area safe when Kyrk is not around, and I think of them as my kids sometimes." Mollianne smiles again at this notion, pausing in mid-slice of a tomato. "That album is important because of all the memories it holds for us. Whenever the times get tough, we have something to look back on and remember, for a reason to keep going and not give up." She looks down for a moment, a sad edge creeping into her voice. "Kyrk works with them a lot, and they are only one of few people who understand him. He gets a lot of flak because of how he handles things, but the truth is that he does not know any better. But I do not think people understand that, or if they even want to. Any way you look at it, he is still saving lives. People seem to forget that."

Lorastine listens to Molly explain about everyone and nods. "I see." she says as she looks over the pictures again. She couldn't help but smile lightly at all their activities like happy moments just frozen in time. It did make her feel a bit happier even though she was never a part of the pictures. Her ears perk up a little when she could hear the slight tone shift in Molliana's voice. Lora looks back at her and stands up, going back to help. "I think I know what you mean about Kyrk, he can be blunt and a bit of a jerk, but I feel I have him to thank for a lot of things. Maybe even my own life." Lorastine explains.

Mollianne looks up at Lorastine, quiet for a moment. The gears seem to turn in her head, but if realization come into place, she didn't say anything. Instead, she just seems happy in general about what Lora said, and goes back to chopping up some veggies. "I appreciate that sentiment more than you know. You can probably flip what is in the pan, too, if you would."

"I think I was more inclined to look beyond the Kyrk on the outside at first notice, anyway, because I was different where I came from, too. I was treated pretty badly because of what I am, so I kind of know what it feels like to not have people pleased with how I handle things." Mollianne offered a faint smile, but goes about her dinner-making otherwise.

[-----BACK IN THE DEN...-----]

Kyuubey walks off the arm of the sofa over one of Kyrk's shoulders, across the blanket that covers him, and onto his stomach, where he promptly spins in a couple of circles, before settling down, looking straight ahead at nothing in particular.

The sound of sizzling meat comes from the kitchen, and the distant sound of chatter between two girls as they go about their preparations.

Crossroads laughs a little. And here she had been half expecting him to say he thought the two of them were too weak to fight on their own. "I wouldn't want to keep you from doing the things you want to but...I'm glad." She said with a small smile. "Even if you do end up wandering someday.."She pauses, keeping her face squarely on the floor as her cheeks start to feel warm again "I want you to know that you will always have a home with me Tyr."

Tyrranis smiles, and puts a hand on Crossroads' shoulder. "Thank you Crossroads. I do not plan on leaving any time soon, but it is nice to know I'll have a place at your home for a long time."

Crossroads grins up at Tyrranis, for a moment not caring how red her cheeks were, "For as long as you want it to be. I'm happy to have you around, Tyr. You keep preparing fish for dinner like you did the other night more often and I can never kick you out."

[-----AND IN THE KITCHEN...-----]

Lorastine nods and walks over to the food cooking on the pan and begins to flip them one by one. The meat fizziling as the uncooked side cam in contact with the hot metal. Lorastine listens to Molliane's story and flips another patty. "You seem pretty nice to me. I don't know why anyone would want to treat you badly." Lora says as she continues cooking. She looks over at the avian girl and smiles.

Mollianne sets the sliced vegetables aside, grabbing another plate and setting them up as a serving-tray sort of dealie. "My world was a bit different. They were not fond of siren because of what we could do. Even if we did not, it was the 'could' that they did not approve of. Plus, I was very little at the time. This was a long time ago. It was mostly the fact that I need blood to survive that did it for a lot of people. I cannot begin to tell you all the vampire jokes I know, as a result." Mollianne smiles faintly, some humor creeping into her tone at the last statement. "Things are different here, though. Especially considering where we live now; a place named after its inhabitants. I thought it was perfect."

Lorastine tilts her head curiously at Molliane as she continues explaining. "You need blood to survive?" she askes wondering if that was a joke or that she honestly needs only blood to survive.

"Not -only- blood." Mollianne moves near Lora, helping to get some of the patties out of the pan and onto separate plates in preparation for serving. "I did not know the reason for a long time, because my mother was killed when I was nine. So I never got the chance to ask. But I have always needed it, and it helps keep me healthy. Something like the way normal people take vitamins to ward off illnesses and stuff."

"It is kind of the same thing. It keeps my immune system healthy, but I only need a little bit every few days. And only from humans. REAL humans. I get really sick if I take blood from anyone else." Mollianne accented this with a firm nod.

Lorastine blinks curiously as Molliane mentioned she could only drink REAL human blood. "I wonder if that means my blood is safe then." she says with a giggle only poking friendly fun at Molliane, not trying to be mean.

Lorastine finishes up the food and takes them off the pan. She helps put the sandwiches together and onto the plate.

Mollianne looks up toward Lorastine's Hylian ears a bit warily. "Probably not. I do not know too ma--" She stops, suddenly realizing the intended humor behind it, and gives Lora a smirk. "Funny stuff, you." She watches with obvious intrigue as Lora goes about helping to finish everything else up, pretty happy all around. "Great! Thank you so much for helping, it went by a lot quicker."

"Let's go get some food out to the others, then, hm?" Mollianne takes a plate and the one she made of veggies, and heads out of the kitchen with a nod of thanks to Lorastine.

Lorastine giggles and gets a plate full of sandwiches. "I hope they are hungry."she says as she follows Molliane's lead.

[-----------BACK IN THE DEN...----------]

Tyrranis shrugs. "Are you sure you want fish that often? After all, you might get tired of it after so many preparations of friend fish, right?"

Crossroads says ' Well, no. Not every night. But I meant what I said about it becoming one of my new favorite foods and wanting you to make it more often. um... If you don't mind that is.'

"I'd love that. Maybe you can even teach me to make a few of them myself. Where I came from I never really had the chance to learn so..." She pauses, all of this talk of food and the scent of cooking from the kitchen makes Crossroads stomach growl noisily. "...Guess I'm hungrier than I thought I was."

Mollianne comes out of the kitchen carrying a couple of plates, with with a few extra slices of tomato and onion, and one with some prepared hamburger-like sandwiches on them, and sets them on a table nearby, all smiles. "Buffalax-meat sandwiches, assuming everyone is okay with that. Lorastine did a great job." She looks around for a moment, mildly self-conscious. "I hope you all do not mind just holding the plates in your laps. It is kind of a small place we live in."

Lorastine walks in shortly behind Molly with a smile on her face. "Enjoy everyone."

Tyrranis raises an eyebrow at the parade of sandwiches, and takes one of the plates, examining the sandwich. "This... seems," Tyrranis starts eating the sandwich.

Crossroads hesitates for a moment, then takes one of the sandwiches, smiling at both Lorastine and you "Thank you for the food, you two." she said, sitting down on the floor.

Mollianne takes one for herself as well, and moves to half-stand/half-lean on the arm of the couch by Kyrk, eating rather quietly. Her wings twitch a couple of times as she does, and Kyuubey looks up at her after awhile from where he is still lying down, but doesn't say anything.

Molly pauses after a couple of bites, glancing sidelong toward the kitchen again, then back toward the others. "Thank you for staying, by the way. It got to be pretty late out, and I know you came a long way from home. We have spare rooms if you guys want to stay here and get rested up."

Tyrranis looks up to Molly, and nods, clearing his throat. "I'd be fine with staying here tonight, if the rest of you would be. Save not, I'll be fine to walk."

"I don't really like the idea of taking advantage any further." Crossroads took a bite of her sandwich, chewing slowly. "But then again, I don't think I am up for the walk back to truce in the dark. If you do not mind us staying the night here I can offer you a little money for the inconvinience. Unfortunately I didn't bring very much"

Mollianne finishes her swandwich, shaking her head briskly. "Of course not! Kyrk would be glad that you came back with me, on top of everything else; he is not fond of me going long distances by myself. Besides, I think I owe it to you guys. We seem to have gotten off on the wrong foot, but talking to Lorastine in the kitchen, I think I understand a little better. It won't be any trouble at all, and Kyrk will probably be up and around in the morning."

"We have plenty of room for all of you, so do not worry; the living space is just kind of cramped, that is all. When you have finished eating, I would be happy to show you where you guys can wash up and rest for the night." Mollianne's wings fold in against her back somewhat as she pushes off the sofa arm, clutching her plate.

Lorastine thinks for a bit while enjoying her own prepared sandwich. "Thank you for letting us spend the night, Molliana." she replies happily. Lora was really enjoying this little vacation from the usual sights over in Truce. It was like all that was happening there was insignificant.

Tyrranis wipes the last of the sandwich from his mouth, and nods. "Indeed. Thank you for letting us stay here for the night."

Mollianne smiles as her gesture of goodwill seems to be modestly-well-received, perhaps thinking that maybe she was a little less at odds because they had accepted. She smiles happily, nevertheless. "Okay then. Do not rush yourself, but when you are finished, I will give you the small tour. I have friends over a lot, so we have plenty of extra room for more people beyond Kyrk and myself."

Lorastine finishes up her sandwich and lets out a satisifed sigh with having her belly now full. "I'm finished!" she exclaims happily and looks at the others waiting for them to finish. While she waits she looks at Kyrk laying down and wonders when he will be waking up.

Despite being told not to rush, Crossroads quickly finishes the remainder of her sandwich feeling curious as to what the rest of Kyrk's home would look like as well as looking forward to getting some sleep after the long walk here. "I'm also finished."

Tyrranis busies his time waiting for the others to finish by tending to his bat, and looks up once they all finish. "Let's do this then."

Kyrk, despite still being under, isn't showing any major signs of health deterioration. His breathing is fairly normal, and the fever-tinged color on his face as receded noticeably since Mollianne gave him the medicine earlier. Kyuubey still remains laying down on his stomach, apparently asleep by this time. Or he could be faking it, it's hard to tell with him.

In the meantime, Molly takes it upon herself to collect the empty plates and other remnants from dinner, swaying slightly as her mood seems to peak. She nods at everyone, and beckons them all to follow her as she heads into the kitchen with the small stack of plates.

Mollianne sets the plates down on a counter as she enters the kitchen; its considerably crowded with all of them in here. "Tyrranis, Crossroads. The kitchen's a little small, but it works for what we need it for. Lora was a big help for dinner, which I appreciate."

Lorastine simply smiles and nods happily at Molliane's compliment.

It was no wonder why Mollianne hadn't invited more than one of them to help out with the cooking in here. There was hardly any room for more than two people. Make it four with one being a giganto and negotiating through it would be nearly impossible. Crossroads looks around, nodding and hoping that the other rooms would be a bit bigger.

Tyrranis grunts, and attempts to stand to the side in a way to take up as little space as possible in the cramped room. He was too big for these tiny shennanigans. The album catches his eye though, and the giganto spends a moment leafing through the photos inside.

Mollianne pauses to glance at the sink for a moment, then nods to herself, glancing up at Tyrranis as he picks up the album, but only smiles in response. "I'll take care of the dishes later. Here, your room is just though the kitchen. Sorry it is a little cramped, but Kyrk did not really build it with the intention of two people, let alone more than that. I was kind of an afterthought." She turns, opening a door to the south.

Tyrranis glances up as the group moves onwards, and sets the album down, not electing to mention anything about what was inside.

Monstro Town - Kyrk's Domicile: Barracks-Turned-Guest
This long room features several rows of bunk beds lined up against the
side walls almost all the way through, with a small locker stationed at the
foot of each. Across from each other, two doored stalls are embedded into
the opposing walls, bathrooms without being their own rooms, but still
privacy-enabled. A sliding door sits in the middle of the far southern
wall, and despite the almost militaristic feel of the room, it is carpeted
and the walls are painted a bright white, in whatever attempt to make it
seem more accommodating.

Mollianne stops to flick a switch on the way in, eliciting a string of lights to cascade from the ceiling on down the end of the long room. Still smiling, she glances over her shoulder. "You are welcome to any one of these, whichever you feel most comfortable with. We have two separate bathrooms at the end, there." She pauses, pointing to the two stalled doorways at the end. "And the bathing area is just through the door there."

Lorastine looks at the room and gives a little fake smile. It wasn't exactly what she had expected. She expected a nice little room that actually looked like a room at the Inn or something nice.

Crossroads stares at all the beds wondering why Kyrk felt like he needed so many when only the two of them lived here. The place seemed to tug at an early childhood memory, and she moved over to one of the beds, falling backwards upon it with a blissful smile. A bed was still a bed, and she was pretty tired after such a long day of traveling. "I call this one!"

Tyrranis glances at the beds, and places his bat on one of the beds close to Crossroads. She should be able to watch after it well enough. With a nod, Tyrranis begins moving south again, towards the bathing room.

Mollianne nods, looking around the room for a moment, as if in tune with Crossroads' thoughts on the size of the room compared to the rest of the house thus far. "This room was fixed up to be a guest room after I moved in. It was just an old barracks before, and really worn down. So we worked to make it into a guest room, since Kyrk said we should have a place for guests to stay if we ever have them. It was a good idea, wasn't it?" She notes Tyrranis heading toward the bathing area, and proceeds to follow, grinning noticeably.

Lorastine finds a bed for herself and sits on it. The mattress was comfy atleast. Not at all what she expected to sit down on. "Its alright, beats camping outside." she replies as she looks around the room some more. A bath sounded really good right about now, but with Tyrranis already headed in that direction she figured it might be best to wait.

Crossroads sat up on the bed thinking that if she didn't she'd probably fall asleep right then and there. She yawns and looks towards the bathing area where Tyrranis and Molliane seem to be going wondering briefly if she should follow just in case there were some things the winged woman needed to tell them about. Instead though she smiles at Lorastines comment, deciding to make idle conversation, "Camping outside isn't that bad every once in a while. Nothing beats a bed though."

Mollianne stops at the door as Tyrranis leaves through it, and tilts her head somewhat, but ensures that the door closes behind him. She turns after a moment, doing a little half spin such that her skirt twirls slightly. "He certainly is not wasting any time. I hope you guys will be comfortable tonight. You should really see the hot springs back there, but you might want to give your friend a bit, first."

Molly pauses for a moment, heading back further into the room toward Cross and Lora, with an odd grin. "Unless that sort of thing does not bother you that much, anyway."

Lorastine blinks and sort of flinches at what Molly was implying but her interest sparked when she said 'hotspring'. "Uh. The spring is seperated right?" she askes with a slight hint of blush on her cheeks mostly out of embarrassment.

Crossroads looks towards the doorway. If Molliane was saying that then it was very unlikely that anything was separated in there. Which meant if she went in now... "Um...Yeah. Good idea." She said quickly, turning her head away from the door and the two other women.

"Nope! Completely open. It is really big, too. Lots of water, and there is all kinds of shampoo and stuff all ready and everything; it should be all set for anyone who needs to use it at any time. It really is not a big deal to us, though, but I understand some people take that 'modesty' think more into account than others." She smiles openly, without the sense of ulterior motive.

"But for tonight, I will leave these two rooms in your care. Use anything you need in those footlockers; towels, some nightgowns, whatever you need. All the bath stuff is outside that door already, so you should be fine for tonight. I will be at the other end of the house, so just let me know if I can be of any further service." Mollianne smiles again, and heads back toward the north.

Lorastine freezes for a moment and looks over at Cross her cheeks were bright red. She wouldn't mind if it wasn't co-ed, but she never prepared for something like this. Tyrranis was already in there and... and... the thoughts just made her look to Crossroads wondering if she was thinking the same thing.

Crossroads keeps her head down in an attempt to hide her face, even when she does stand up and proceeds to check out the contents of one of the footlockers. She looks up briefly noticing that her cheeks just as red as hers. She met Lorastine's eyes for a moment, but said nothing.

Mollianne, still all smiles as if there wasn't anything to be concerned about, makes her exit, opening the north door to the kitchen and leaving through it, turning to give a cheerful "Goodnight!" before letting it close quietly behind her.

Tyrranis returns from the room to the south, retying his towel securely
and nodding to both the girls. "The room is quite impressive. The one
thing that's actually larger than in Crossroad's home." He makes his
way back over to the bed, and picks up his bat again, apparentally
happy with it.

Lorastine looks at Tyrranis and nods, if he was out she could be more
comfortable taking a bath in there. She nods and grabs a towel. "I'll
have to see for myself then." she says as she heads towards the baths.

Crossroads stops in the middle of rummaging through the footlockers
and turns her head towards Tyrranis as he emerges from the bathing
room, watching him as he is tying his towel. She realizes where she is
staring after a moment, then turns her attention back to the towel and
nightgown sitting in her lap. "S-so it is pretty nice in there?" She
asks, internally swearing as she tripped over her words.

"Nice, large, and quite warm. I think you two will both like it. As
for me, I think I'm going to go to sleep." Tyrranis sits and lays down
on his chosen bed, not bothering to put the covers over himself or
anything, and closes his eyes, still holding his bat.

Lorastine grabs a towel and holds it in her arms as she makes her way
to the sliding door. "I'll meet you in there ok, Cross. Take your
time." she says as opens the sliding door and enters in it.

"I guess you'll be asleep when we come out then." Crossroads tucked
her towel under her arm and started to follow after Lora. She paused
though, "Would you like the lights off?"

Tyrranis says ' Leave it on, You'll need it to find your places. And
I'm used to sleeping in the light.'

Crossroads says ' Well... Alright then. Good night, Tyrranis.'

Lorastine is already resting in the hotspring, her blonde hair is tied
up in a long ponytail. She looks really relaxed with only her
shoulders up can be seen.

Lorastine smiles and keeps her eyes closed with a relaxed sigh. "This is great."

Crossroads lets out a small sigh of relief when she slides into the
pool herself, closing her eyes and taking a moment to relax in the
water's warmth. "This alone makes me a bit jealous of Kyrk." She nods.

Lorastine giggles and nods. "I know what you mean, it kinda makes me
wish the Inn had one of these nearby." she replies as she opens her
eyes and looks at Cross with a smile. "I could spend all day in here."

"I know that there are a couple places north of Truce that had them. I
haven't been to them though." Crossroads said, keeping her eyes
closed. "If the inn had one I'd probably be saving up for a night here
and there so I could take advantage of it. They are quite nice."

Lorastine looks at Crossroads curiously. "There are springs in Truce?
I've never heard of any." she says with interest. She puts her finger
to her chin as she starts to think a little. "I guess I'll have to do
some searching when we get back. She lowers herself into the water
more until the water is up to her nose.

Crossroads smiles, "North of it somewhere. I saw them when I was
mapping out my trip and even considered paying them a visit. I think
one is by Wutai and the other is up high in some mountains somewhere.
Never got a chance to go though thanks to this witch fighting
business."

"Then we should take a trip up there one day!" Lorastine exclaims with
a bit of excitement in her voice. She calms down pretty quickly though
with the relaxing warm water.

"I wouldn't object to that so long as everything is clear in Truce
when we go." Crossroads sinks into the water a little, opening her
eyes. "Considering all that has happened I think we deserve a bit of a
vacation, don't you?"

Lorastine nods a little, "We definatly deserved some R&R. Someone
should give the witches the memo to take a break too. That way we can
have time to ourselves to enjoy life."she replies leaning her head
back. "It has been awefully quiet though now that I think about it."

Crossroads giggles at the thought of the witches and yoma having to
wait patiently for the three of them to come back from their trip.
"Yeah, it has been pretty quiet lately. I suppose we should take that
as a bit of a blessing."

"Mhm!" Lorastine says with quick nod. She lets out a sigh and
stretches, splashing a little as she rises her arms out of the water.

"We should probably finish up in here. Last thing we both need is to
fall asleep in this warm water." Crossroads says with a small laugh.
"We also probably have to get an early start back home."

Lorastine looks at Crossroads with a little frown. "Aw... Can't we
stay for like an extra day... week... month? Its so comfy here."

Crossroads holds up her hands giggling, "But imagine how pruny your
skin is going to look after that long!"

Lorastine jumps a little and stands up in the water. "You're right!
What was I thinking." she says as she gets out of the water and wraps
her torso up in a towel.

Lorastine jumps a little and stands up in the water. "You're right!
What was I thinking." she says as she gets out of the water and wraps
her torso up in a towel.

Crossroads covers her mouth and laughs at Lorastines panic. "I'll be
out shortly." She says, wading over to the bin of bath supplies with a
huge grin.
