[-----CROSSROADS' HOUSE-----]

A low snore sounds in the living room, as Tyrranis' chest rises and
falls with his breathing. He seems to have fallen asleep on the couch,
and stayed there for the night.

The snore seemed to be a good indicator that Tyrranis was asleep,
which was good since
Crossroads was not prepared to face him yet after last night. She
slipped out of her room, moving as quietly as she could towards the
kitchen in hopes to avoid waking him.

Tyrranis grunts, and twitches in his sleep as Crossroads moves past
him, then settles down into the couch and smiles in his sleep. He
seems content enough for now.

Crossroads stops dead in her tracks when she sees Tyrranis stir,
holding her breath until she was sure he hadn't woke up. When he
smiled though she couldn't help but smile as well, wondering briefly
what kind of dream he was having that was making him so happy. A
moment later she was moving again. As long as he kept sleeping, she'd
be out of the house and on her way to the monastery before he even
realized she was gone.

Watching Tyrranis carefully Crossroads gave a silent cheer when she
made it to the kitchen door. She grinned to herself thinking that she
was almost home free, turned the handle, and quickly stepped inside.
When she did though, her foot kicked something left on the floor and a
loud clatter caused her to tense. She quickly looked down at the plate
that had been left on the floor, probably by Lora on her way out.
There was no way Tyrranis could possibly not have heard that.

Tyrranis cracks his eyes open as he hears a clatter, and slowly shifts
himself off of his lying down position on the couch. He stands with a
stretch, then checks over his towel to make sure it's properly affixed
as an afterthought. "Who made that noise?"

Crossroads groaned when she heard Tyrranis's voice, "Just me, Tyr."
She said with a small sigh as she bent down to pick up the plate.
"Sorry, I was trying not to wake you."

Tyrranis grabs the plate from the table in front of him, and moves
down the hallway to the kitchen, nodding to Cross. "It is fine. Lately
I have had much more... free time on my hands. It is not something I
am really used to. I will probably return to sleep later. How are you
this morning?"

Crossroads holds out her hand to take the plate in Tyrranis's hand,
keeping her eyes slightly off to the side. After seeing what she saw
last night, she didn't think she could look him in the eye. "I was
just getting ready to head out for the monastery." She admitted

Tyrranis hands Crossroads the plate, but frowns slightly. "Why are you
going back out to the monastery? We killed the witch, and got the
seed. Unless another witch showed up there too?" Tyrranis puzzles at
this for a moment, and notices Crossroads not looking directly at him.
"Is something wrong?"

"Nothing is wrong. I was just going to answer Ambience's questions
about us." Crossroads carried the plates to the sink, figuring it
would be a good idea to get the kitchen cleaned up before she left.
Besides, Tyrranis had made dinner last night. It only seemed fair that
she would take care of cleaning up afterwards.

Tyrranis leans against the doorframe, and raises an eyebrow.
"Ambience? I assume he is the little one who wanted to speak
yesterday. I also saw him at the entrance of the Witch's zone, he
seemed worried about what was going on in there." Tyrranis rubs at his
chin. "Are you sure you do not want me to come along? Make sure you
are safe?"

Crossroads's cheeks felt warm again, "I-I'll be fine. I mean, I can't
stop you if you want to come but I looked ahead and there doesn't seem
to be any witches or yoma there for the time being." She turned on the
water and grabbed the soap and a sponge, " Ambience also lost a friend
to that witch. I know that we cause him a lot of discomfort, and I
think it would be in our best interest to try to ease things."

Tyrranis shakes his head. "It does not matter if there will be no
fights. I will accompany you. If not to be there in case things go
wrong, then for the pure fact that we do make them uncomfortable. The
last time you went off alone things went poorly. I wish to try and
negate that from happening again."

Crossroads lowered her head, keeping her eyes on the dishes infront of
her. "I'm sorry that things happened the way they did last time. But
you don't need to worry about me. Things will be fine. I am using my
powers more often to be sure of these things."

Tyrranis frowns at this, and moves next to Crossroads, helping clean
the dishes. "Do not use your power too much. If it becomes a utility
for you, you might not notice the corruption you are accruing. That
would be dangerous. Please refrain from doing things like that. I
would not be happy to lose you."

Crossroads blush deepened. Why did he have to stand so close to her?
and why did he have to say things like that?! Still, if something had
happened to Tyrranis she was sure she would be pretty unhappy too. She
felt as though she was growing more and more attached to him. Liked
him even. And as for the vision from last night... As soon as it
popped up Crossroads brushed that thought aside, "I'd be unhappy if I
lost you too Tyr. I forgot to ask Lora about her gem yesterday, did
you get a chance to ask her?"

Tyrranis shakes his head, and continues scrubbing at the dishes. "I
forgot to. It did not take me long to fall asleep after you left, I do
not even remember where Lora was for a time. I shall ask her when next
I see her."

"Your gem looked as bad as mine did after the last fight." Crossroads
went back to scrubbing the plate in her hand, "So I am still worried."

Tyrranis looks at Crossroads for a moment, and dries off one of his
hands with his towel. He hesitates for a moment, and then reaches over
and puts his arm across Crossroad's shoulders in a one armed hug. "I
will be fine Crossroads. Thank you for worrying for me however."

Crossroads feels a small wave of panic as Tyr puts his arm around her
and she nearly drops her plate in the sink. This is the first time
Tyrranis had ever hugged her! After a moment, she sets her dish down
and places her hand on his, feeling confused as to what might have
brought this on. Slowly she turns her head to look up at him.

Crossroads says ' I know you'll be fine. I'll still get on your case
for it though.'

Tyrranis smiles at Crossroads, and nods. "This is probably a good
thing. I tend to be a bit reckless when left to my own devices. Still
though, I would like to accompany you."

Crossroads turns back to the dish she was washing, hiding her face
from him again, "I-I guess there is no harm in it."

Tyrranis squeezes Crossroads once more, it seems like the right thing
to do, and then returns his hand to washing dishes as well, in
silence.

Crossroads remains silent as well for a long time, then upon seeing
the dishes done she wipes her hands dry. "Tyr?" Crossroads glances at
him briefly before stepping away to start preparing for their trip,
"You um... You give nice hugs."

Tyrranis smiles again at Crossroads, and dries his own hands. "Thank
you. I was not sure how well they were received. I might start giving
them more often."
