[--LOG TAKEN FROM JILLIAN'S PERSPECTIVE--]

[Guardia Fields, early evening]

Jillian lowers her hands that had apparently until just now been raised to the sky, watching as a burst of yellow light flashes where her hands had been, and she nods satisfactorily.

Jillian lowers her eyes, her expression mild. "She isn't back yet. Either she can't find what she's looking for, or she's taking her time. Either way, my part is finished."

Jillian looks about the still fields briefly, her spade-ended tail flicking lightly behind her. "These creatures are strange.. no souls, yet they aim for the Holyland? Ha!"

Jillian looks down at her shoulder, apparently addressing something or someone. "I apologize if that sounds rude. I have little tolerance for false heroes."

The sound of footfalls booms for a moment, and a great cracking noise like timber being forced into submission echoes across the fields. Barely audible behind the cacophany produced by this is the sound of an engine.

Gforte eases the lobsterman shaped mecha into the field beyond the tree line, sparing not a care for the easily destoyable or destroyed ecosystem. A voice rumbles from the speakers. "Good, looks like this is past Truce. Now for the easy part."

Jillian looks up at the giant machine from where she is, merely raising an eyebrow and saying not a word; at her shoulder, a miniature green flash is emitted, leaving behind a couple blades of grass that flutter to the ground.

Jillian looks up at the giant machine from where she is, merely raising an eyebrow and saying not a word; at her shoulder, a miniature green flash is emitted, leaving behind a couple blades of grass that flutter to the ground. Her tail flicks idly, and her expression remains rather stoic and indifferent.

A growl is emitted from the mecha as inside, it's pilot catches hold of a woman. One who has noticed his complete stealth in action. Smoke pours from the mecha's whiskers as Gforte tromps closer to Jillian.

Jillian makes not an advance or retreat; her eyes raise slightly as the machination draws nearer, but her general demeanor seems to remain the same as it has been. In fact... she raises both arms over her head, and stetches rather awkwardly, inadvertently(?) flaunting her assets in the process.

Gforte slows the mecha's advance on the woman once they reach a good talking distance, and raises an eyebrow at her... stretching. Shaking his head, he thinks for a second. "Excuse me, but did you happen to see anything that JUST went on?"

Jillian looks at Gforte for a moment, smiling faintly. "I saw many clouds pass by. Does that help?"

A particularly blank stare from the emotionless mecha washes over Jillian as Gforte comprehends this. "...I- I mean about the trees. Over there." The lobstermecha flicks it's tail in the direction it had just come from.

Jillian looks where indicated, her tail twitching somewhat against her backside. "Oh, I suppose not. I must not have been paying attention. It's been a busy couple of days, you see."

Jillian says 'My attention's not known for being long-winded.'

The lobster scratches at it's 'chin' with it's claw in a somewhat clumsy gesture. Shaking his head again, Gforte narrows his eyes at Jillian's image. "You are either very dumb or very smart. Who are you?"

Jillian stands straight, placing a hand on her hip. "Just a messenger at times, and an unnecessary presence at others. At current, I am most likely the latter, as I have no task at the moment."

Jillian says 'What do people generally do at that point in time? Rest, relax, take a load off? I forget the actual term for it.'

A smile slowly spreads across Gforte's face as a mental wheel clicks into place. "Yeah, chill is a good way to put it. You say you're not busy right now, wanna tour around some? Better than being bored, eh?"

Jillian thinks for a moment, but a very brief moment. "I don't see why not. I've seen a lot of this world already, but an extra pair of eyes can often point out missed things the second time around."

Gforte chuckles, and the lobster reaches up and taps it's one gem. "Singular eye in this case, but regardless. Can't say I thought it'd be that easy though. I'm heading south, this region's bored me."

Jillian nods simply, approaching the giant lobster-chine. "I only go where I am needed at the time; I have no real place here, if put in an absolute sense. Give me but a moment, and I shall accompany you."

Gforte says ' Sure, sure.'

Jillian stops nearby, and gestures at something unseen; a subtle but tangible wind picks up briefly, then dies down after only a few moments, and she nods. "Acknowledged. Current destination unknown as of yet."

Jillian nods again, and turns around, smiling just visibly. "As well, then. Shall we be off?"

Gforte says ' What in the hell? Oh nevermind. You wanna walk or would you prefer a ride?'

Jillian says 'I am capable of walking, among other things. Lead the way, and I will be sure to follow. I don't really associate myself too well with confined quarters.'

"Haha, Confined quarters? Snippy ain't ya? No one rides inside me. Not without dinner first." Gforte chuckles again to himself and sets his mecha due south, opting to take the road for a while to ease stress on his poor hydraulics.

Jillian adjusts her turtleneck somewhat, her tail curling about her behind as she sets off to follow Gforte, her expression completely innocent and undisturbed.
