The night air surrounding Truce has a chill tonight, the seasons slowly grinding on. Few insects remain to bug those who might remain outdoors despite the cold, and the stars are remarkably bright tonight.(Knochen)

The sky darkens, and from its shady clouds falls the raging giant figure of a blackend lion. The beast roars loudly, but silences itself when it finally notices the ground beneath it. With catlike grace, the beast lands on all fours by the edge of the pool of water and rights it's stance. It rears itself up onto its hind legs, its white mane stained with fresh blood. "ROAAR!!" (Nocte)

Fiszeradin slithered into the fountain plaza from the east docks, steam rising around and from his body, the warming spell he purchased working nicely. He made his way towards the fountain benches, carving out a track through the snow behind him, his tails wrapped around a small sled stocked with freshly caught fish.
Fiszeradin glanced up at the large feline, giving a small shrug, not entirely certain of it's a strange thing to see what some would call 'monstrous' creatures about. He settled down beside the fountain, dragging his sled up beside him.

Lucy hums and whistles, cuddled up in her warm bear-pelt. The cold of a winter's night sends a chill down her antennae, but the warmth of fresh hot cocoa warmed her soul right up. Looking up at the starts she merely remarks to herself in thought, 'What a beautiful night.'

Tealion was stretched out on the bench next to the fountain, his hat covering his eyes and a small red rock resting on his chest, giving off a delightful warm glow. As far as any creature with ears could tell, Tealion was snoring, and thus napping.

A quartet of guards move past the Truce Fountian, two heading away from the northern gate, two heading towards, apparentally it had reached the shift-changing time of night. All of them eye the roaring Lion man cautiously, but move on with their lives regardless. (Knochen)

Lucy looks up at the rather large naga a bit curiously, then at the sled. Oh my, that sounded fun, sledding in the snow! But ah, how to get his attention... WOOSH! Moments after her arm hurls a freshly-packed ball of snow right for Fiszeradin, giggling loudly.

It was a cold night. Winter. It wasn't winter awhile ago. The ground was stone. Nocte peered around with a snarl, its feline eyes looking for something to focus on. He was caught in the middle of battle, a wrong time to remove the angry beast. A guard walked by, and eyed him. The lion bounced, and quickly held the gaurd in the air by his throat. "Speak, human! What town do you inhabit!?"

Tealion rolled over, as much as one can roll over when on the back on one's shell, and grumbled under his breath. The sudden run of noise had disturbed his sleep, and nothing is grumpier than a Koopa whose sleep has been disturbed for anything less than a gold bar.

Fiszeradin's fur ruffled with the hit of the snowball as he shifted about some, looking at where the projectile came from, the snow starting to melt off his fur. He gave a small hiss as he looked at the wasp "Careful, if I wanted snow, I would get it myself." he didn't appear actually physically hurt by the snowball. As he saw the guard get lifted by the large felinid creature, he gave another hiss and quickly slithered his way over, the orbs on his tails darkening as he prepared for battle "Hey! Put that guard down!"

The guard in question grabs the Lion's hand, lifting himself to try and be breathe some. His other hand goes to his sword, as do the hands of the three other guards, who immediately draw their blades and converge upon the beast. "In the name of Truce, Cease and Desist your actions! This is your Only warning!" (Knochen)

Lucy doesn't worry much about the guard- With three other men there, it wouldn't be hard to threaten that beast. Step by step she moves closer to Fiszeradin, prodding him gently on the side. "Could... Could Lucy borrow the sled?" she asks, looking up at the very large creature before her.

Tealion sat up at the sound of drawn blades. "I'm not drunk this time! I..." He looked around, looking at the guard and the odd, lion thing. "Oh, just another night in Truce." Tealion sat back to enjoy the show about to unfold, straightening his hat some.

"RAAAR!!" Nocte set the gaurd down and arched his back, making himself appear bigger. "Truce? Truce!? You offer a beast Truce!" Nocte began to back away, the pads of his feet heading westward. "You have worn the pelts of my kin. Sing now, why do you offer truce?"'

A loud noise rings out from the northern gates, which for some reason are completely unguarded right now. Screams from townsfolk ring out as a deeper noise filters beneath them, stomping soon followed by multitudes of high pitched cackiling. (Knochen)

Mundane monsters, Imps and Rolys from the northern canyons of Truce swarm the streets, looking much different from how they normally appear. Sections of their flesh have been carved away, and no intelligence graces their gazes as the monsters leap upon townsfolk and begin ripping into them. (Knochen)

The guards, now all forgetting the lion-beast, pull out small flares and fire them into the sky, obviously some kind of warning system. After that, they charge the enraged imps, battling sword against tooth and bone. (Knochen)

Fiszeradin glanced down at the wasp before looking back up at the feline "The sled is full of fish... I don't think I would like them dumped out." he slid in closer to the battle, his tail orbs nearly like large black pearls by now "It is the name of this coastal city. I suggest calming yourself newcomer." he turned his attention towards the northern gate as the obvious sounds of an army fill the air, hissing loudly at Nocte before turning, he slithed quickly to meet the oncoming creatures, never particularly enjoying the imps in the first place. Fiszeradin seemed to go into some battle frenzy, his body rolled over imps as he launched himself at one of the more armored enemies, latching on with the suckers lining his paws as he attempted to crack the creature with his teeth, his tails lashing out at nearby foes like weighted whips.

"So, you unblessed do not even sing. Well then, your sins will be punished later..." Nocte let out a mighty roar to let out his rage, and went on all fours to flee westward. Yes, he would observe this town, but even now, he knew he needed a calmer state. Perhaps it would still be around in the morning for a visit. Until then, the lion darted to the burnt forest to find shelter.

With a look of shock Lucy examines the enemies, and tosses of her bear-pelt. Clad in a top of leather armor she removes the small lance from her hip and holds it out, pointing it at an imp, before jumping up and flying down in a quick swoop, more smacking it out of the way than piercing it. She hops back up, and examines far to the north, before flying off quickly toward the south. Soon she would be back, hopefully with help.

Tealion stood on the bench, looking over towards the north gate and all the commotion throwing his hands up in resignation. "Fantastic! There's another night's sleep I'll never get back." He got his gloves from under the bench, slipping them over his hands. "Just makes a Koopa wanna punch something." Teal grumbled before lugging a right hook into an imp's face. "Gods. I feel better already."

One of the guards on the scene falls to the ground as a massive explosion sounds off, and from the north a pile of mutilated skins heaped atop eachother strides in. It examines the scene for a moment before Knochen hurls the skins on it off, and in the direction of the giant Naga. While coated in both fresh and dried blood, it makes no attempt to actually get further into battle, walking by imps and guards pistol in one hand, claws splayed from the other.

Tealion swing his iron laden fists left and right, breaking noses, shattering ribs, and blackening eyes all around. One imp that managed to pounce on his shell was shortly removed and thrown into Truce Fountain. "I hope they bring in something larger, right now, it feels like the usual barfight I deal with every... Day..." As he was saying this, Knochen strided closer. Tealion stared for a moment before resuming the brawl. "'Kay. That might be a bit much."

Fiszeradin gave up getting through shell of bone on the roly and simply bent it backwards, snapping its spine before whipping it at another imp, sending the creature careening into the wall as the pile of skins covered him, rending holes in the thing before discarding it in a pile onto another smaller creature, giving a small hiss at Knochen before wading back into battle. The creature wasn't attacking him, and he had alot of smaller problems to deal with.

Fiszeradin quickly pounced another roly, choosing to snap this ones back alot sooner before using it as a projectile as his tails whipped out and took another pair of imps.

Knochen pauses at the fountian, looking around the fountian before removing a few cylinders from his belt, throwning them to each of the streets of Truce's crossroads. Then, he sights one in his revolver, and squeezes the trigger, prompting a massive explosion from the cylinder when shot.

Tealion stumbled a bit from the explosion, shoving an imp into the path of some flying cylinder debris. "Now I remember why I got off the Frigate while I could." He tried to get a good look at the one responsible for this seemingly random act of terror, but the imps were being persistant on him for some reason.

Fiszeradin leapt and pounced, his tails causing more damage than his claws and teeth, his normally cyan-tinted white coat now stained with red as he did his best to force the small army back towards the gate, expecting to bottleneck them there.

Knochen cares not for the imps and rolys quickly dying, instead he simply squeezes off two more shots, the accompanying explosions rattling windows before they shatter and sparkings fires amongst the city. He then turns to the north street, pointing his revolver at the cylinder that lays there.

Tealion ended up knocked off his feet from the third explosion, falling forwards and swearing loudly while keeping the imps from clawing at his shell. "Git yer own! Ya lousy slops!"

Fiszeradin hissed as he threw another roly, turning about to spot near targets "Come on you little cretins, have a taste of my Chathka" its about then he noticed the creature in the middle of the fountain area turning his way. "oh, shit" he quickly begins to slide through the gates, taking out any creature in his way as he tried to find as much cover for as much of his body as possible, ducking into the guard house to try to hide from whatever attack was about to fly in his direction.

Up high in the air three being fly up, side by side, before moving closer to the ground. These beings, wasplings clad in armor enough to completely cover their torso, move closer to the ground, inspecting their enemy. Silent communications of scent are passed back and forth as they watch- The situation is much different than they were informed. (Lucy)

Click, boom, BOOM. The northernmost canister explodes particularly violently, pulping most of the bodies of dead imps and rolys in that area, along with a good bit of the ones that were still alive. Knochen, apparentally approving of this, flicks the revolver open and begins reloading it while walking rather carelessly to the south.

Tealion looked up at the skeleton heading south. "You came here for trouble, and I'm plannin' on givin' it to ya." He grumbled as he pushed himself to his feet, pulling a small red object from the confines of his shell and gripping it in his fist before charging at the skeleton, swinging said fist at the stranger's ribcage.

Fiszeradin waited until he heard debris start to fall before making his way out to the street again, grasping a roly and efficiently snapping its spine before rolling it back up in a ball and whipping the bone armored creature at Knochen as hard as he could, taking another dead roly as ammunition as he ducked into the alley across from the gate, his tail quickly following after.

Knochen is interrupted from his reloading process by a turtle ramming materia into the center of it's ribcage. A growl half-passes it's vocalization processor before a dead roly slams into it's shoulder, half-spinning Knochen to the side and knocking the robot off balance, now also allowing the turtle's punch to glance off his spine and continue through two of his open ribs.

The group of wasplings gasp at the explosion, and all silently nod to each other, all standing down on the southern path, holding their lances sideways in a line. "Halt, in the name of the Queen," they say in exact unison, their faces covered by metal helmets, "You have been deemed to dangerous to pass through the southern border. If you attempt to, we will use force." (Lucy)

Tealion missed his mark, but the glancing of the spine activated the Matiria anyway, engulfing his gloved hand in flames. Improvising, Teal wrenched his fist through the ribs and reared back for another punch, hoping to get the oppertunity to take advantage of the fire.

Fiszeradin prepared to launch his second roly as he ducked out from around the corner, but the creature was already down on the ground. He lets out a smiling hiss as he slithered past the debris down the pathway towars the fountain center as quick as he could, his tails were more of a midnight blue than black at the moment but he still had his dead roly ready for another attack, deciding to snag a decent sized rock frok the rubble as he went.

The group of wasplings merely stands in place, waiting for a confirmation or denial from the thing. They were patient enough to wait for him to stop being attacked, however. (Lucy)

Knochen is caught by the second punch thrown by the koopa and the metals making up it's body flush with color, though refuse to melt. Instead, it appears to remind the skeleton of something while it was on the ground. A small pilot light catches in the center of it's hand before Knochen lets out a roar, apparentally angered.

The wasps all take a step back, and point their lances forward, toward Knochen. "Cease all agressive actions," they say in unison to all three of the men, "Go back from where you came and we will have no qualms." (Lucy)

Tealion paid no mind to the roaring, he never did. Instead he punched at Knochen's hips with his offhand, his other hand retreving a yellow-ish Materia from his shell.

Fiszeradin noticed the flame and chose that moment to whip the roly at its former master, aiming for the hand with the flame. He didn't stop though, leaping in, his tails beside him, the large rock held between them moving quickly down towards the creature's head as he personally went for its legs.

Knochen brings it's arms close to it's own chest, specifically the materia-glowing portion of it's own chassis. One large claw plunges into the gas canister embedded inside it's own arm and a moment later, the shockwave and fire of newly exploded gas canister eminating from Knochen, with himself as the focal point.

And with that, Tealion was sent flying backwards from the center of the explosion and into a convenient, and hard, building. With a crash on impact, both with the wall and the trash can below, Teal has obviously ceased punching Knochen for the time being.

The wasplings blink, stumbling back from the force of the explosion. "We said cease and desist!" one of them calls out. A little shocked, she looks around and notices her allies have already fled. They weren't prepared to fight this beast, it wasn't unreasonable to flee. She sighs, and stands her ground, looking onward at the now enflamed beings. Perhaps saving them, or at least trying, would be a good idea. (Lucy)

Fiszeradin was sent flying backwards, shrieking and hissing as he writhed about on the pavement, his fur seared off in most places, the snow placating the flames but mostly causing the naga to shriek louder with the contact of the ice cold sheet of powder.

Knochen stands slowly, trying his hardest to us both hands. Which do not work, quite literally, only one arm supports him, the other terminating about halfway up the upper arm. In addition, several of his ribs stay behind on the ground, but the machine still stands up, regardless of it's now burning chassis. The skeleton leaves behind it's fallen bits, turning to the south and walking in the direction of the wasps.

The lone waspling takes a few steps back, and hops up, fluttering her wings in the air. She takes a deep breath, and holds out her lance, flying forward as fast as she can, aiming for Knochen's hip. She lets out a loud shout the whole time, attempting to quell her fears and stay courageous- Fighting a beast like this was folly for sure, but disabling a leg would at least keep him down until reinforcements arrive, if at all. (Lucy)

Knochen looks at the waspling as she charges him with her lance, but really it doesn't register her. It registers it's knees giving out, and them slamming against the ground. It also registers the chassis damage to it's spine as the lance gouges out circuits that are more expensive than the Knight probably sees in a decade. It does not however, seem all that immobilized.

The waspling starts to step back and pull her lance out, looking down at the monster before her. Metal and circuitry, a beast she wishes for help to defeat. Taking a moment to pull her lance out, she attempts to fly back twenty or so feet, and stand her groun, saying, "Cease your progress, or I will be forced to harm you further." (Lucy)

A trashcan with a large dent flies out into the street, followed by an angry Tealion, who's brushing the dust and banana peels from his shell before looking back at the robot. A quick snear, and a crack of the neck and all eight knuckles and Tealion started back to finish what he started.

The wasp's lance refuses to move, in actuality. Knochen's claws grasp at it before it leans forwards to the wasp. Then, it's mouth opens up for once, sharpened teeth lashing out at the Wasp's weapon hand while, at the same time, Knochen actually pulls the lance further into him, attempting to keep the girl from flying away.

The waspling shrieks out with a howl of pain, trying harder to tug her arm back. She raises her off hand into the air and swings her fist down in an attempt to make it collide with Knochen's neck-bones, her wings working frantically to create an air pocket and pull back. (Lucy)

The pained shrieking stopped as the naga stopped writhing about the ground, Fiszeradin fading into blissful unconsciousness.

Tealion reached into his money pouch, taking three gold coins and flinging them at the back of Knochen's head, each making a distinct ringing sound as they fly through the air, "Oi! Last I checked, you and I weren't quite done yet!"

Knochen stops dead still as the coins ring off it's head. Then, it's head turns to the side, ripping chitin and muscle away from the waspling as it eyes the turtle. Then, it's eyes turn from red, to actually glowing red, and a haze of heat literally begins rising from it's body. "Child. You were done a nanosecond after the coins left your hand" The damage that was affecting the robot seems to cease actually affecting it as it begins to turn to face Tealion.

The waspling shrieks with pain and pulls her arm back, dashing away, looking at her lance. She flutters up into the air, trying to consider her options, her arm bleeding profusely. (Lucy)

Tealion spits on the ground, mostly for dramatic effect, also to get rid of something nasty that ended up in there when he landed in the trash. "We'll see who's done after I finsh beating your metal carcus into the ground. Now, put 'em up." He said, raising his fists.

Knochen turns to Tealion, and then looks behind him at something that worries the skeleton more than the koopa. He turns pulling the lance fron his body before turning and heading to the south, quickly. Behind the fighting Koopa, more than two dozen actual soldiers, bearing the crest of Guardia approach the fountian.

Tealion let out a hearty laugh and smiled broadly. "That's right! Turn tail and run, coward! You come stomping aorund Truce again, you'll have to dela with me, Tealion! The fiercest Koopa to ever sail the..." In the middle of his speech, he noticed the approach of the soldiers. With a pause, he picked up his gusto and finished shouting. "That still counts!"
