[-----TRUCE CANYON----]

Suddenly the ground rumbles a little as the rocks on which Dusk stands begin to move, taking the form of a hand.
The face in the wall opens its mouth, making a soft yawn, and loose bits of rocks fall off.
Gaeus the Earth says 'Welcome, my child. What have you come here for?'

Dusk says 'You are Gaeus the Earth, are you not? One of the cleft's wisdoms?'

A few more rocks fall from Gaeus' face as his mouth moves to respond to Dusk's question, "I have been called that by people over the ages. Names are fleeting, beings often cling to them believing that their name defines who they are."

Dusk grins slightly, "Names are also irrelevant in a world where one can be someone else entirely. I've come here for your advice, Mr. Wisdom."

Little to Dusk's knowledge, Oxcarts watches it from the comfort of the shadows, both perplexed and curious about his questions to this face on the rock wall known as Gaeus.

A rough rumbling can be heard from Gaeus' throat as it responded to Dusk, "It seems you've made a pact, child. What could you possibly hope to learn from me?"

Dusk pulls his soul gem out from his pocket and stares at it, "I've not been around as long as you, but I've seen the depths of complete disorder. Surely you've seen what's been happening lately? An innocent creature with miraculous powers granting wishes to those who would do its bidding?"

Gaeus' shifts its eyes towards Dusk's soul gem, then back towards Dusk. "All beings possess desire, child. A demon needs to only feed the darkness that lies within their spirit."

Dusk glares towards Gaeus, "You act as if nothing needs to be done! I'm not here to confess any poor decisions that I have made. It's the countless other fools who would be taken in by things they do not understand! Do you realize what will happen to the cleft if this creature is not stopped? Destruction may be a natural point of existance, but without ORDER to direct it, the cleft will be entirely consumed by witches and chaos!"

As calm as ever, Gaeus responds to Dusk in a smooth manner, "The cleft has and will always pursue the direction given to it by others. It's the reason why we are here."

Dusk grasps his soul gem firmly as he tucks it away, "The reason why -I'm- here is to stop -them- from destroying -my- world. And if you are simply going to ALLOW this chaos to continue, then I have nothing more to say."

Gaeus remains vigilant as it watches Dusk start to leave, "Someday you will see how simple it all is. The other soul within you knows this. If you find yourself capable of trusting him, you just might survive your pact. Farewell, child."

Through a oval-shaped ripple of dark, Oxcarts enters into the area, taking a few steps into the area. 'What an interesting situation this is, a being as supposedly wise as this unable to help you in even the slightest,' the man says, dusting off his cloak, 'However, I am here to offer you a form of help.'

Dusk watches the man appear from the darkness with slight interest, "It isn't polite to eavesdrop. But, what do I know of politeness? So, you believe you know how to help against something that many believe can't be helped?"

Oxcarts grins, the shine of his teeth barely glinting under the cover of his hood. 'I won't say it will be particularly easy- wars will be waged, battles will be fought. If you play your cards right, that gem- your vessel's heart and soul- could end up back inside the vessel. Once your body is back to normal, well... Extracting him would not be entirely too difficult, we have our methods,' the man says, taking a step closer, 'However, in order to do this, you must join our side. You see, my organization i

Dusk looks off to the side as he reaches for his soul gem. It is not as bright as it once was, a result of being away from his fellow Wishborn and their battles for so long. "It would take a..unique power achieve what you say. And how am I to believe this proposal at face value? Hmmhmmhmm, considering you're not even showing your face."

Oxcarts laughs quite loudly, and pulls his hood down, revealing a face of rather pale white skin dotted with a single, black crescent-moon under the left of his two blue eyes. Atop his head is a well-kept head of short black hair, which merely adds to the contrast of his skin. 'If seeing my face is so important, so be it. The power of these beings you are encountering is not so different from the power my organization offers. Although, if you wish not to even consider joining, then so be it; that gem will.

Dusk stares at the little creatures, "Cute little things, aren't they? I'm flattered! So be it. I will see you again when the time is right."

Oxcarts laughs quite loudly again, and snaps his fingers, the small shadows moving close to Florence, now under his power. 'There is no need to wait, these are all yours. In fact, as you may now feel, many are; they are called heartless, and are drawn to whoever has the most power. Our group has that power, and as you have agreed to join, so do you. You may not understand as quick as you'd like, but you will over time. Until then,' he says, reaching into his cloak to pull out and toss a grief seed at Dusk, 'Take this.'
